In the Imperial Republic, there is freedom of religion.
However a lot of Christians (the main religious minority) are persecuted (as in being fined, and sometimes being sent to jail) as they follow their original Bible; instead of the state edition which has removed harmful views (such as misogyny, anti-LGBT+ sentiment, racism, etc) there is also a disclaimer at the font which claims that the book is a metaphor and not to be taken seriously or as truth.

Even if that's true, a board of non-permanent members doesn't get to purge over a hundred people, leave who they want, and then remove someone who has been a part of the UL for over a year and has done more for the UL than they could ever hope to and practically fostered its transition to democracy.

It was to remove inactive members. All former members have to do is just ask to have their membership reaffirmed, just a single short post.

Most former members don't even know that this thread exists, and now that the purge happened, there's no real way to inform them. And apparently veterans of the UL can be 'denied' while reaffirming membership.

To the best of my understanding as a former commissar, commissars have the per to implement policies. They do not have the power to remove members, unless you can show me a source claiming otherwise.
