King-Emperor Christopher II of Derita and his family, minus Prince Paul, Princesses Natalie, Marie and Alice all journeyed south to beautiful Johannesburg for the King-Emperor to preside over the imperial backed 51rst Annual National Royal Fencing Tournament. The King-Emperor famously won two of the championship trophies and medals in the Fencing Tournament of '17 and '24, participating in 2012, 2013 and 2023. This year, the Duc d'Berry will be participating in the Tournament.

Afterwards on the 11th, two military parades are planned to take place in Johannesburg which will also be presided over by the Imperial Family.

At 11:46 am today a bomb went off in the Chateau de Geneva, home of the Princess of Geneva.

The bomb went off in the den of the royal house, causing a massive explosion that was seen all over the city. The bomb destroyed several windows and furniture, as well as destroying two of the decorative trees on the property, however none of the rest of the house was largely effected and it still stands mostly intact. Tragically 12 people were killed. They were the servants of the young Princess of Geneva, Arthur Canfield, Johanna Marié Felstien, Yolande Hevens, Zarkira Madenson, Kenneth Masturina-Bonteen, Edmund Hanks, Toni Retzgrand, Karen Jakins, Angela Gertrude, Olga Rosttoff, and Eulanna Maxwellien, and the Count Mollehose, who was visiting the Princess.

Princess Charlotte of Geneva herself was not home at the time, she was, having returned from the King and Queen of Saxony's wedding, entertaining a visitor, the Crown Prince Joseph of Polonge, who had come to Geneva with Count Mollenhose. The 17 year old Charlotte and 18 year old Joseph had been horseback riding not far from the Chateau in the snowy countryside just outside of Geneva when the explosion went off and they saw the column of smoke.

Investigators are currently looking into the attack and what is believed to have been an assassination attempt on the Princess. For as we have it.

Terror in Derita!

Clármont Rohan, the newly appointed Secretary of His Imperial Majesty, the King-Emperor has called the Imperial Court to meet in Vanessa. The 38 year old Mon. Rohan has declared that the heart of Derita is shaken to its very core.

Earlier today, Mon. Rohan was at his office in the Palais du Versailles when he was meet with Charles I, Duc d'Orléanres and his second daughter, Marie Claude. The 105 year old Duc and the 85 year old Claude were discussing the sudden dark corruption that has been found in the Imperial Court. The elderly Duc d'Orléanres was making outrageous demand stated Mon. Rohan later on. When Mon. Rohan refused to believe such allegations about corruption with in the Imperial Court, he pointed out to The Duc d'Orléanres that the Court of Orléanres is far more corrupt and immoral and that their family has long been apart of coup attempts and schemes against the Volonté Dynasty. The Duc, seeing he would not get his way threaten to blackmail Mon. Rohan and dissolve the Imperial Court and even threaten to over throw the government with foreign supporters.

It was at that moment that a gunshot rang out and the office window of Mon. Rohan shattered. The Duc d'Orléanres slumped in his chair as a bloody red spot bloom over his heart. The Duc's daughter, a princess of the Royal House of Orléanres screamed and stood up attempting to run with her cane, but she was shot twice and killed as well.

The assassination of the two of eldest members of the Orléanres Family has shocked the nation. Shortly afterwards, when it was learned that the Orléanres family elders had fallen victim to assassination, the people of Orléans revolted and an organized group of gentlemen have locked themselves in the Hôtel de Lssyaines and demanded that old regime be sweep aside and a new Constitution drafted.

Mon. Rohan quickly reported to Fontainebleau, but with the King-Emperor and the Imperial Family away, Lord Clementeau was left in charge. At the persuasive tone of Clármont Rohan, the old Lord has given the powers of Régent to Monsieur Rohan who now meets with the Imperial Court.

This has caused a panic as it is widely believe that with the greats many emergency powers that where given to him as temporary Régent, Clármont Rohan plans to declare Derita a Republic.

Horrifying news have happens here in Johannesburg. It has been just 35 minutes since the assassination of the Duc d'Orléanres. The King-Emperor and his family were parading through the streets following a military parade when the event took a deadly turn.

Accompanying the Imperial Family was Dowager Duchess of Havré and Gabriela, Countess of Funtemont, members of the Orléanres Royal House hold. A group of three men, hearing of the current crisis in Vanessa and Orléans took matters into their own hands. Two men surged into the parade running at the walking Duchess of Havré, whilst a third fired a gun at the Countess of Foutemont. Two bullets hit her in the chest and she died instantly. One of the mad men who were attacking the Duchess of Havré was tackled and quickly subdued, by the other dodged and attempted to stab her, yelling

"Down with the House of Orléanres!"

In seer luck, the King of Romania, 16 year old Ferdinand II saw the craziness and jumping out of the slow moving carriage jumped in front of the dowager duchess. The madman, recognizing the King, attempted to pull back the knife, but it was too late and he was stabbed in the stomach. A scream was let out from the crowd as the gallant teenage King of Romania fell to the ground, covered in blood.

His Imperial Majesty, the King-Emperor attempted to climb out of his carriage but was stopped as a fight began between Orléanist guards and people carrying anti-Orléanist views. The three carriages carrying the Imperial Family were soon away from the scene. The Duchess of Havré meanwhile dropped to her knees and checked over the King of Romania. Her would be assassin busted into tears and stabbed himself. The King-Emperor's Imperial Guard rushed forward and safely transported the Duchess and the King to a hospital on the away from the fighting.

With in fifteen mi Utes however, the Johannesburg Police had broken up the fight, no one had been seriously injured. Three bodies were found, the Countess of Foutemont, the knife man and the gunman, who had apparently been tramped by the panicked crowd.

King-Emperor Christopher II of Derita has demanded that the attacks against the Royal House of Orléanres cease and that that the Amperiale Police will find any attackers or assassins.

Meanwhile, King Ferdinand II of Romania, the Prince Imperial Jean of Derita's remains in critical condition.

The once thought to be safe streets of Edinburgh have finally been washed in blood. The city unexpectedly erupted into chaos today and threw the nation for a tail spin. The city's food supply had run down to catastrophic levels, much unfortunately like the rest of the country, estimated 1,500 people having died of hunger this month so far.

The mob, encouraged by MacKrugle who later arrived in Edinburgh with more of the Scottish people who were determined to to bring down the corrupt and worthless government, took to the streets and went of a rampage. They charged and match to the Parliament building and broke inside. Windows were smashed, doors busted in and the crowd of people, estimated 12,000 entered. The Parliament of Scots, which was in session were alarmed by the attack and sent guards and army officials to fight back against the insurgents. However it was not enough, the crowd overwhelmed the guards and while hundreds of insurgents were killed, the guards were all but wiped out.

The crowd moved into the House of Lords section and burst in, alarming the members of Parliament. Prime Minister Norfolk, lacking his usual powdered wig stood and pointed at MacKrugle and yelled

Duke of Norfolk: "You can not be here! You are villains against the civil world and must obey laws! We are freedom and you ar-"

At that moment a axe flew through the air, stabbing the Duke of Norfolk in the heart, killing the 90 year old man.

A massacre erupted and the Parliament of Scots was slaughtered mercilessly. The bloodbath was horrifying and cruel, photographed by Celin Dorsen.

Only 25 members of the 385 member Parliament was able to escape the doomed building and only twelve are currently alive, the others dying from injuries such as shotgun wounds, stabbing and internal bleeding. The survivors include Lord Gladstone, Secretary Roseberry and Lord Aberdeen, as well as others. They have fled to he Castle of Edinburgh where they and Lady Princess Mary are currently besieged.

King Jean-Pedro I of Portugal and the Algraves has infuriated the country as he has passed laws that now forbids public gathering and allows censorship. Businesses such as Coffee shops and bakeries and shipping docks are suffering under unfair new and cruel taxes, causing unemployment to skyrocket in southern Portugal. The grieving King gets no sympathy as his grief for the loss of his wife turns into cruelty to his subjects.

A Child at last!

After several years of marriage, Petit Dauphin Frederick of Génes and his wife, Petite Dauphiné Clémetine of Génes have finally produced children. The Petite Dauphiné, Princess Clémetine was taken from the house of the elderly Ferdinand Louis II, Duke of Aosta where she and the Petit Dauphin had been staying at and taken to the Livérè Royal Palace were Clémetine started to go into labor.

Following tradition of the Royal Family, and supposedly much to the annoyance of the Petit Dauphin, Clémetine was not encouraged to push until the arrival of the Queen's entourage of nobles, three of the Royal doctors and the Queen herself. And so then after that the Petite Dauphiné went through the next six hours under the watch of her grandmother-in-law's regal eyes. Finally a child was brought into the world, in which Queen Adela took the baby from Clémetine's arms and announced that it was a girl, Princess Hélèna Augusta Victoria.

Upon the realization it was a girl and not the print so many had hoped for, all but the Queen seemed upset.

But it was soon found that Clémetine was giving birth to twins and the second child was still yet to come. However as of right now, there is believed to be problems with the second child exiting the Petite Dauphiné. More as we have it.

Today the President annonced that he would be decommissioning half of North Timeria's orbital weapon systems. The weapons in this list are all kinetic bombardment weapons. The President stated that times have changed and he wanted to show that North Timeria is willing to work toward peace without compromising security. In a list provided by the national space agency all Odin satellites will be decommissioned and thrown out of orbit. Many people are still confused as how we can maintain our defences against nuclear weapons.

The Odin satellites were developed as retaliatory weapons that could cause mass destruction. This are not apart of MITON and were never used. It has been confirmed that all Zues satellites and angel satellites will stay in orbit. The President has also declassified certain information about Zues satellites to show that they are not WMDs but strategic weapons.

Also recently after a meeting that cleared all nations access to space the President has suggested all nations to take part in building an international space station. The President has suggested at the name Peace International Space Station

Also in the news today the Peaceful Travel Act was passe and signed by President Greg this afternoon. This act would ease travel restriction an make it easier for citizens of CDV nations to travel to North Timeria. It also gives airports the ability to set their own limits on the number of flights to and from North Timeria. Many people are pleased with this new wave of change and President Greg's approval rating has jumped up to 68%; President Odair's average was around 60%.

Three painful hours after delivering Princess Hélèna of Genes, the Petite Dauphiné Clementine has give birth to a prince. The baby was angled incorrectly within the Petite Dauphiné and so it took longer for the birth to happen. Fearfully, the boy took his first breathes within his mother and this has made him weak and sickly. He is currently in critical care, but he is predicted to remain weak for some time, perhaps even the rest of his life. He was named Prince Victor Emmanuel Philippe after the old kings of Sardina.

Connerian Navy Unveils Laser-Armed Cruiser

Today, the Connerian Navy unveiled a new type of cruiser, dubbed the Archangel. The new cruiser, which has been in secret production since the beginning of 2058 and is expected to enter service on March 15th, sports a wide variety of weaponry, including a free-electron laser with a maximum power of 1.5 megawatts.

The laser, which compliments a standard armament of guns, missiles, and CIWS/AWACS systems comparable to the existing Liberty-class cruisers, is powered by the ships nuclear reactor. In a demonstration given in Hyperion's 74th Avenue harbor, the laser was able to punch a hole about a meter in diameter through the side of a decommissioned Burke class destroyer, which possesses a steel hull of 1". The rest of the armament of the ship is fairly standard, with the 20mm guns of the Liberty-class having been removed in order to leave more power and space for the laser.

There were rumors that the ship would carry a railgun of some sort. Admiral Jason Smith, the project head, told reporters that, although "the current series is not armed with a railgun ... it is an idea we have no ruled out for future series."

The Scottish Royal Family was hit with a bad blow as they have been forced to go once again into hiding after what has been called the Massacre of the Three Princesses

Princess Sophie of Scotland rushed around the inside of Clarence House as she looked for ways to save her family. She had just gotten news that the people, in a craze and in a riot as usual had heard a rumor that the princesses and princes of Scotland were hiding out in Caranden House had lead to craziness and the people entering and looting the place. When it was discovered that the royals were not in fact in the house, Madame Blauodine, the de facto Head of Clans despite not being elected, ordered the city of Edinburgh to be torched and everyone killed in order to find them.

This of course had caused a massive panic and one of the few servants that Princess Sophie had kept, Arnold Chancer had broken and run to the revolutionaries. He had spilled the location of the royal family to them. Princess Sophie, now married for four months to Lord Clarendale, had quickly ordered her family together in order for them to prepare to flee the city and this time the country. They had decided they flee to Austrias Hollande and from there go back to their old home of Switzerland.

But it was too late. The revolution had made people blood thirsty and after the massacre in the Parliament Building, they felt that as long as it was supposedly justified in their eyes, they could get away with it. Madame Blauodine and a group of 3,900 men and woman had marched into the Old Town community of Edinburgh.

As the the yelling and firing of guns grew closer and closer towards the old house, Sophie ran around in horror in realization that she wouldn't be able to have them escape. She stopped and fell to her knees, laying her head on to her bed and sobbed. Her young unfortunate brothers, Alfred and Leopold joined her in sobbing.

Only Princess Adelaide continued to truly to fight for her survival. She, dressed her her worse dress and bonnet, she packed to make a run for it.

Then the doors exploded open. The female Head of the Clans, a large and brutish woman that was terrifying to look at, stood commandingly As her men ran forward grabbing the princesses. They grabbed the eldest, Sophie, she too busy crying to truly fight back as they dragged her along from the bedroom. Lord Clarendale attempted to fight off his wife's attacks but was only there subdued by other revolutionaries. Princess Sophie, screaming and crying as her yellow and white dress was cut and trampled, was dragged down the steps, her ankle hitting one of the edges of the steps and being cut till it bled. The Princess and dragged in front of Edward Archbaucher, a former lawyer turned judge. The poor Princess was hit across the face, causing a small bruise to appear on her face.

Upstairs the screams of her sisters could be heard as her sister Princess Antonia, treated in a similar manner was dragged downstairs as well. Princess Antonia, in desperate hopes of escape thrashed out of her captors hands. However it was not enough to save her. Princess Antonia fell forward onto the steps, screaming and crying as her wrist snapped. She rolled down the stair case before crumpling to a pile at the bottom.

Princess Sophie attempted to go and seek to help her sister, but was again hit across the face, and another person kicked her twice in the shines, drawing blood. She was yanked backwards, and the judge scowled at her.

He yelled at her to swear to liberty and forever denounce the Monarchy of Scotland and to give up her titles and privileges as a princess of Scotland. The bleeding Princess Sophie sobbed into her hands as screams and the thrashing of people and crashing of furniture could be heard up stairs. Princess Antonia, alive and injured was handcuffed to a pillar and stood with her back to the outside. Meanwhile, Princess Sophie spoke to the judge. The eldest living sister of the Queen of Espana spoke weakly and through cries of pain that she would swear to liberty, to give up her peerages and privilege, but she refused to denounce the Monarchy of Scotland. This sealed her fate.

Archbaucher ominously spoke a single sentence. He ordered them to take the Madame away.

Three men grabbed Princess Sophie by her arms and dragged her outside of the Clarence House. The princess screamed and pleaded to be spared the horrors of the mob. The Princess Sophie was thrown into the mob of men who torn her apart. Princess Sophie was stabbed in the abdomen and in her right breast. Screams filled the streets as the massacre continued into a horrifying inhuman way of death. Two men held her with her arms spread out as a third ripped opened the top of her dress, exposing her breasts and ripped open the bottom part of the front of the dress whilst two more men, the brutes, lifted up the back of her dress and continued to go and in the street, the three men, rape the Princess.

It was a horrible and graphic scene as the Princess screamed in pain and begged to die then. Whilst the three men had their power over her, other members of the unrated crowd attacked her, stabbing her with long knives and hitting her with rocks and bricks and spare metal parts. After several minutes, a brick hit the Princess in the head and she was injured in the neck. Her dead body was thrown onto the ground near the sidewalk.

Princess Antonia, now fearing for her life begged to be released, but when asked the same questions as her sister, she agreed to all of them, but the judge refused to believe that the Princess was truthful. Princess Antonia begged for her life, but to no avail. Her handcuffs were unlocked and she was thrown into the mob.

However, luckier than her sister, Antonia was merely stabbed through the chest and heart by a large pike and her body tossed to the floor.

It was now then that the revolutionaries all entered the house and charged up stairs and attacked the royals. In the fight, Prince Alfred and Prince Leopold were captured and spared, instead locked into animal cages and dragged out into the public.

Princess Margaret-Louisa, the youngest sibling at 8 years old was attacked and held down and forcefully rapped by a man. The sobbing Princess clawed away from her rapist and rand to the window. The eight year old girl, slightly bleeds was deemed dangerous by the revolutionaries and a great large man picked her up. The girl screamed as she was thrown through the window and fell to her death next to the bodies of her sisters.

After this, the crowd calmed down and melted away, taking the two princes prisoner, but if was discovered later on that Princess Adelaide, Lord Clarendale and his daughter Katie Clarendale had escaped during the massacre.

Madame Blauodine has ordered that the escapees be found.

LISBOA- The nation was shocked today as King Jean-Pedro I has fled the country. The King of Portugal was hosting a banquet, it was supposed to celebrate the birth of the foreign princess and prince of Genes with the Genoise Consulate. However the mood, with the dark mood of the widowed King still choking the atmosphere , it was a somber event. Secretary of Finance, Antoino Des las Tandos interrupted and informed the King of Portugal and the Algraves of a need reduction of spending by the royal family and overhaul of the treasury, not a major one, but a needed one. The King, quick to anger as of late, fired Tandos on the spot.

This exploded into chaos. The people of Lisboa demanded a constitution and the mob, 30,000 strong, marched to the Tuilipes Palace and demanded that the King bend to their wishes. For hours, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm they waited for a response, for the agreement of a constitution. King Jean-Pedro I instead choose violence and had his guards beat and attack the people. 4 people were accidentally killed, beaten to death. The crowd at first retreated, but with the thought of the Three Princesses Massacre still fresh in their mind, they surged forward.

King Jean-Pedro I at this loss his nerve and grabbing his sons, Prince Imperial Roman and Crown Prince Jean-Pedro and they in the cover of night they fled the palace and traveled north. The King and his two sons reached Porto, where his older sister, the widowed yet charming Princess Marie Raphaela of Anhalt-Bernburg and Porto lived in her mansion. The fleeing King gave Princess Marie Raphaela the crown jewels of Portugal,(she being a technical citizen and ambassador from the Principality of Anhalt-Bernburg is not subject to Portuguese law)and then with his sons, left the country for Nannes, Derita.

In Lisboa the First Portuguese Constitutional Senate has formed under Provisional Prime Minister Joséph Sócrates.

Clármont Rohan has ordered 8,000 Peacekeepers to arrive in the South of Portugal today. Monsieur Rohan has put General Fernando Carlos, an Infante of Navarre and former husband of late Infante Louisa (2002-2045), and brother-in-law to King Louis-Philippe I. Accompanying the Infante of Navarre, Fernando Carlos has brought along Prince Ferdinand Philippe, Henri, Duc d'Aumale and Prince Antoine Philippe. Moniseur Rohan stresses that it is a peacekeeping operation supported by the Internatial United.

Has been Granted the Titles of Duke of Kannberg, and Lord of Herkin, and Colonel of the 2nd Marine Corps by National Vote in the Reichstag, Passing 145 votes for, with 5 votes against. The Imperial Spokesman said that since the Kron Prinz is now becoming more and more active on a National Scale, he must be 'Taken to Seriously" by the Reichstag and by the Citizenary, The Kron Prinz Expressed his Thanks in a Public Statement below:

"The Imperial Reichstag has always been Kind to the Idea of Monarchy, and I do not Believe no one could have Hoped to make it as Far as Current Monarchies have around the World, with the Aid of the Average Citizen, the Crown and Citizen have been United thanks to this."

Tradgey has struck the Royal Family as Prince Leopold, Infante of Espana died today after catching a cold in the rain and refusing to be cared for. The cold appeared to be worse than most had imagine and within three hours he was in a critical condition. Leopold, the eldest son of Carlos II by his second wife, Queen Maria Cristina (2024-2044), was attended by Doctor Racsinos-Salmanci and his step mother, Queen Catherine. At 11:07 today, the 16 year old prince died.

A Royal Wecovian Marine's body has returned home today after he was killed in action fighting Stist Rioters.
"Senior Marine Edward Hudson, was a great marine. He died for his emperor and for the empire. He will be sorely missed." - SM Edward Hudson's Commanding officer.
The Stist Riots are getting out of hand, Four RWAF Personnel have been killed in two weeks.
Many people are protesting that more forces be sent to Stist to destroy the rioter's stronghold in Stist's Capitol.

Sera Refuses Calls to Disarm

After much discussion between King Tu'Aruc and the Grand Elders, along with the opinions of the High Council of the Armed Forces, Sera has deemed the scuttling of orbiting Zeus platforms a tactical shortcoming and a threat to national security. While technically, the nation is not aligned with either faction, Sera does have orbital weaponry and it's leaders coming to the conclusion that a formal response was necessary. This is what Defense Chief John Locke had to say:

"While Sera is always open to diplomatic meetings and actions that would further peace, the government's first duty is of course to protect the people. It is because of this that Sera must decline participation in the global disarming of space... To participate would be to put our people at great risk, and place the homeland at extreme disadvantage."

When SNN approached the capital building for further comment, reporters were quickly escorted off the property, depicting the finality of the decision, and situation.

Nuclear exchange in Irav: What's the Fallout?

Today, after a lengthy debate within the Iravian Senate, the Department of War has decided to release some of the official documents that concern the spread of fallout and other radioactive waste during the Iravian civil war. A little less than a year ago the Iravian Empire together with the Ōyashiman Empire had used both high- and low-yield nuclear devices to target the new Iravian republic. The nuclear strikes that were performed that night had mainly targeted cities on the east-coast of the Republic, as well as many military assets scattered throughout the surrounding oceans.

According to sources published by the Department of War, the nuclear strikes on the federal republic had caused an estimated 4,35 million casualties, when several world cities were leveled with the ground overnight. It is currently estimated that more than 2,73 million of those have unfortunately enough not survived the nuclear attack.

‘s Gravenhage: This important coastal world city was targeted by one high-yield intercontinental ballistic missile, which was suspected to have been fired from a missile silo in the Ōyashiman ‘Capital Lands’. Most of the original city was destroyed during the initial blast and following shockwave, with one notable exception being the ‘De Witt’ clock tower, which serves as a symbol of national pride for the people of ‘s Gravenhage. Unfortunately very few people managed to escape the utter destruction of this beautiful historical coastal city.

‘s Hertogenbosch: Once a stunning regional capital city in the Republic, the city of ‘s Hertogenbosch has been reduced to little more than some smoldering ashes, when in the middle of the night two high-yield atomic bombs were detonated above ‘Queens Square’. These two intercontinental ballistic missiles have supposedly have their origins being traced back to the northernmost islands of the old Iravian empire, where republican missile defense systems had an especially difficult time targeting and destroying them. Here too the two nuclear missiles were successful in ravaging the entire city, and here too much of its original population was killed during the attacks.

Surrounding cities: Many other regionally important cities such as the industrial cities of Rottevaale and Koetsenburg as well as the economic powerhouse of Rosendael among others were fortunate enough to be spared such a similar fate as ‘s Hertogenbosch and ‘s Gravenhage. After carefully inspecting the surrounding cities it was said that there was nothing more apart from minor damage to many buildings and their respective infrastructure. When three intercontinental ballistic missiles had caused the total destruction of two cities the missile defense system came into full effect and was able to shoot the remainder of the incoming missiles out of the sky, before they of course reached their targets.

New Republic Defense Force: Apart from the important coastal cities on the east coast, some military bases of the New Republic Defense Force were also being targeted by the two Empires. Those attacks have caused the destruction of three military bases and most of the military equipment present at the time, which include one aircraft carrier, three submarines, eleven destroyers, and numerous logistical supply ships. According to sources from the Department of War, more than fifteen thousand military personnel were killed during these attacks.

Murder in Greece!

The Queen of Greece's guards fired into a group of protestors in front of the Nafpilo Palace. The crowd was protesting the absolute and autocratic reign of Queen Marie-Anna, demanding a Constitution. The Queen supposedly declared in response to the news that she needed a shot of liquor. This was supposedly mistaken for "I them shot." And the guards wasted no time to attack the protestors, causing a death toll of 52 and over 1,500+ people injured. Three Hyrukian warships have been moved into the harbor in hopes of calming the protests.

Once again a large anti monarchy protest was in the streets, With growing discontent for the Wecovian Monarchy many more people are detesting the monarchy and demanding that a democratically head of state be elected. Many people are demanding that the monarch takes up a ceremonial roll, Others are demanding the royal family's heads.
Even inside the military there is discontent with over 400 Soldiers being dishonorably discharged for speaking out against the monarch. The way the officers (most of them of noble birth) treat and look down upon their
subordinates has resulted in a large number of enlisted soldiers to refuse their officers orders. One regiment had to be disbanded because the discontent got so bad.
Is this the dawn of the Second Wecovian Republic? Will this mean independence for the Empire's colonies? or will it be the start of a blood and brutal civil war?

Nikolaos Krieztis, a young lawyer turned solider has lead the nation into a full blown revolution. The 38 year old revolutionary has with the help of the Third Greek Army have seized control of the western part of the nation, as well as gaining control of the Adriatic Navy of Greece. Nikolaos is demanding that not only should the Queen of Greece be removed from power, but that all Foreign Powers holding pieces of it release them and let the Greeks be Free! As the death toll in Nafpilo expands with Queen Marie Anne's more and more reactionary policies against protests and riots, it seems that the Republican version of Greece that Nikolaos speaks of is the better choice.

After an uprising in Prevea the military has increased patrols over our airspace and they have added extra security here on the border. Just an hour ago a column of tanks rolled down the highway headed towards the border.

Internally there hasn't been any reports of an uprising or any kind of terrorist activity. The government has addressed the issue and they expect it to be contained and not a real threat. They have admitted they are playing it safe and increasing security measures across the board. They have not yet closed the border but access has been restricted.

"We will stand tall and face the darkness!"

Today, hot commodity in former Prime Ministers cabinets and well known Liberal Senator, Cassidy Leftwood celebrated her election to Prime Minister of the Royally United Provinces. She admitted that it was a long fought election all the way from the primary to the general election. She nominated her opponent in the primary, Mary Asbury, to Deputy Prime Minister. She stated that in the past few months, the nation has faced darkness but the way out and to glory is to stand tall and face the darkness.

Cassidy Legtwood won the general election by a landslide 450 delegates to 150 over Conservative Brent House continuing a streak of Liberal Prime Ministers. She stated that she wants the three provinces to move on together into a glory age under her leadership.
