An Introduction to the United Left
Greetings comrades,
Today is a time where leftist nations are at the crossroads. We and our people face threats from the horrors of the neo-liberal economic train-wreck on one side, and the totalitarian fascists on another. Many a leftist nations wish only to secure the freedom, equality, and happiness of their people, and are proud to claim our goal to be: “Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity!” Yet the reactionary and conservative forces on the right are uncompromising with their intent to eliminate us, always watching for a target, and striking when it is opportune to them.
We must either succumb to their horrendous onslaught, or band together to combat the dangerous threat from the right.
The United Left (UL) was created as a result of these collective concerns of the left. We believe that no matter your ideology, Marxism-Leninism, Ba'athism, Council Communism, Luxemburgism, State Socialism, Market Socialism, Social Democracy, Convism, Social Technocracy, and the list goes on. As long as you are on the left of the political spectrum, socially and economically, The United Left is a home for you. The United Left is an alliance, which assists our members and comrades militarily, economically, diplomatically, socially, and in any other way we can help. As long as you are a member of the United Left and fulfil your obligations to the alliance and the other members, you shall be helped as much as necessary. The quote: “All for one! And one for all!” sums up the United Left perfectly.
The United Left faced a rocky beginning, having to deal with the hordes of the right-wing on almost a constant basis. There was originally a Right-wing alliance that was a rival of the United Left, often threatening to eliminate the UL on many occasions. However it was the UL who triumphed in that fight, this alliance was forced to reform many times after their alliance tore itself apart on multiple occasions. Only time will tell if this new alliance will survive. The Order of Enlightened Nations (OEN) was another fascist alliance, which had the audacity to declare war upon the UL. They were soundly defeated in war, and their alliance was disbanded through the Lisbon Accords. The International Freedom Coalition, while generally hostile to the goals of the United Left, has not been in direct conflict with the UL. It is our policy to keep it this way, with some kind of a non-aggression agreement between the two alliances.
The United Left has consolidated its position as the most powerful alliance in the world. Boasting a large amount of members states, each capable of defending the interests of the UL and pursuing its common goals. It is also one of the most wealthy alliances, and has a tremendous amount of resources it can call upon in a time of need. The UL military is feared throughout the world, as one of the most competent fighting forces around, and the UL is proud to have never lost a war.
Not only does the United Left assist only its member states, but as a leftist alliance seeking only the emancipation and freedom of all people, no matter their social or economic position, The United Left is ultimately committed to supporting leftist organisations and causes worldwide. Whether it is a revolution against an unjust and conservative monarchy, or the fight for equal rights for minority groups in a nation, The United Left shall assist in any ways necessary.
So if you are a leftist nation which fulfils our membership criteria, we strongly encourage you to submit an application and join our coalition of the left.

Mission
The purpose and general mission of the United Left is to provide and organisation in which Left-wing and Left-leaning nations of all variations. The UL was created back in 1986(ICly, around late 2014 OOCly.) when The Proletarian Federal Republic of Bojikami observed the sudden decline of leftism at the hands of reactionary and anti-communist armies and coalitions, to remedy this situation, Antoni Regovishki issued a message to all remaining bastions of Leftism, stating that for the future of social equality and freedom, the Leftists, despite ideological variations must band together. It was in this, the United Left was created.
