Karl nodded, "I wish to extend a hand to them soon, seeing their plight during turmoil, I believe strongly that capitalism can fix anything. I wish to negotiate increased trade with Britanno as to spur economic growth which may calm the people when they see their wealth growing. Our policy towards Britanno will be to ascertain a trade partner and assist as needed as our interest in the West grows."

"This is true, we have sought to repair relations with Namor after the return of our sailors from captivity. The delicate thing is that the public at large is still Namophobic due to the Trang Vai incident. While we are trying to sooth the public, the issue still stands that Namor has not been the most inviting of nations. I'd rather not be caught with my pants undone in case things turn pear shaped with Namor. Just as well, as dangerous as relations are between Qianrong and NAmor are it'd be best to be able to stand-by as needed."

And regarding the nuclear programme of Qianrong, what is its main intent, considering not only the need to protect national borders and to safeguard the interests of Qianrong and its allies but also the response such a programme may face by the international community?"

"We will support a nuclear program in Qianrong as long as they show genuine interest in using their technology to defend themselves, there is no threat from them developing a nuclear program. I am confident the international community will respect their intent to defend themselves. Now, we would like to consider talks with Luziyca sooner or later, but until then the option is off the table due to our disapproval of the way they have handled the situation in the first place." concluded Bergmann.

"Luziyca has proposed aid to Qianrong- but months after it should have begun aiding us. This is utterly unacceptable, seeing that they were supposed to have been our ally. In addition, their proposal is far less extensive than New Zepuha's, and Luziyca wants us to only receive help from them- which would, in essence, necessitate swearing fealty to Bethlehem. I will not have Qianrong reduced to a slave of a nation which does not care for our survival. At this point, we have come to realize that we cannot trust the Luziycans to do as they say- not now, and not ever. Luziyca has broken its word egregiously, and we have no reason to believe that it will keep its word now."

"As for Qianrong's nuclear program- the program exists solely for self-defense purposes, and is wholly legitimate. There is no reason for any Esquarian nation to be concerned about it, nor is there any reason for other countries to attempt to dictate whether or not it continues. The Qianrongese government will do what it must to ensure the continued security of the Qianrongese nation, and that is that. There is nothing else to say."
