It is for travelling around and sustaining yourself in space for an infinite amount of time. Cryogen anyone?

Ok, ok, I like it. Maybe add Shield Generators and a personal laser defense (just in case of space pirates.)
The Shield Generators will help with the constant barrage of micro-meteorites, space debris, and re-entry. Although, I have a spaceplane with a shield gen, I still am working on the specifications of the shield to make it viable.

Why do you want to join the ISA: Was reading the last one and it seems to be a very interesting thread. Also it seems as though you need more money to truly get yourselves off the ground. Also Space is awesome. Just purely awesome...I mean the idea that there may be other life forms out there is one that I find truly fascinating and will be something my country in this agency will be very involved within.

OOC: 2 things
1. I had to do the math for my nations GDP to discover how much money I had and I realized I have around 200 Trillion NSD in my nations annual GDP. If you want me to lower the Pledged money I understand and I will lower it.
2. My nation may be changing the hands of the Space Agency to a Private Company. I'm trying to handle a lot of things right now so I don't know if this will happen in near future.

I'll be more than happy to add the laser as a defensive measure against missiles and such ( anti satellite missiles being a reality I'm sure it'll be an acceptable defensive measure.) but the shield generator may be a bit of a stretch (I'm a MT nation you know,and a former soviet state a that so making lasers is close to breaking the bank in my end, a shield generator will be to much unless you have a RL example that I can base it off)

any tech here is (mostly) not the sci-fi kind (RL examples and current projects will be needed befor we do tha sort of thing,if its reasonably in the realm of science fact then its good to go.).

and besides we're spit-balling here (Japan was designing death rays as they though the atom bomb was impossible to make.so I'm alright with a bit of deviation from the norm but not too much.)

OMG you know what I just remembered, the Shuttle needs a crane arm thing to move the cargo and such when in orbit. thank you for putting some focus on that area.

The shield generator is delving into FT territory, so its out of the running for devices that will be on board this craft.

But I think the laser defense system is a phenomenal idea, and will serve (experimentally of course) as a "shield like" system that can vaporize both terrorist SAM's or SAT missiles and any foreign objects (meteorites) in space that enter its protective "bubble" of the lasers short range to be automatically targeted by advanced computer algorithms.

Any thoughts on the cranes design or the maneuverability rockets (remember I just make it you guys determine what it does and I make the dream a reality.) and I will work on several options for it in the meantime.
