We RPed with them once. There is a reason why we do not recognize them anymore.

As in, while I'd personally rather we just got along OOCly and had fun RP wars, its been tried before. And it caused some pretty heated arguments to flare up on a regular basis... that meant a lot of members despised each other for a while (OOCly that is).

These tensions are quite ingrained now, so while reconciliation has also been attempted (so they can RP together), it just caused the tensions to flare up again and OOC anger to bubble over.

To be honest, I would like it a lot if the UL and Axis fought again, as the status quo can just crystallise the divisions without resolving them. But only as long as it didn't lead to OOC arguments, which based on several experiences has generally just lead to anger.

Actually we can. Only if we choose a better role playing partner. UL as a group is not a good partner, but a few of them are better RPer, I'll give them that.
