Global Health And Scientific Advancement Organization (GHSAO) Founded
The administration of President Sánît Béâtídá has announced today the foundation of another organization, which is sought to be transformed into a prosperous intergovernmental body functioning on global levels. The government is speaking of the Global Health And Scientific Advancement Organization (GHSAO), which is the intergovernmental system, where doctors and scientists from across Sunalaya and from any country in the world would be provided a platform to come together and jointly work on finding cures for all of the world’s diseases and simultaneously focus on humanity’s scientific advancement in order to improve life for the current and future generations.
When talking about the project, many members within the administration, like the coalition government and President Sánît Béâtídá, have expressed the position that although the world is making significant progress in medical and scientific advancement, with the world’s doctors and scientists working individually, as well as different countries also cooperating, the government believes that the advances would be made much sooner and a large portion of the world’s problems in regards to people’s health and overall quality of life could have been made a thing of the past, if an even better platform for the global cooperation process is provided, which is why GHSAO was created. The expressed goal for what the organization should be is that GHSAO should function as a non-politicized intergovernmental organization, where the doctors and scientists of the world would work together on eradicating diseases and working on new inventions, while receiving all funds, resources, tools, technology and facilities needed to make those advances. It is described as one of those organizations, where geopolitics, relations between the states and national interests would be non-existent and talented and determined people from whichever country would come to work in favor of common productive human cause. However, in case the cause of GHSAO is supported and the would-be international organization receives funding from across the world, the organization would prohibit military experiments in medical and scientific spheres, where individual countries or military alliances would work to advance separate kinds of warfare for themselves, while using international funds and masking their work under what GHSAO truly stands for.
The headquarters of GHSAO are set to be based in Aestin. The administration’s current stance is that creating an actual large intergovernmental organization, attracting interest and support for it will not be very quick or easy, which is why GHSAO would advance in small steps as a Sunrisian national organization, where our country would either invite or welcome other states ready to cooperate with us in medical and scientific spheres and over time accumulate a number of countries that would also be encouraged to cooperate among themselves. One of the hints that was given is that the government might be interested on continuing experiments on genetic research and cloning, which the former state of North Sunrisia once worked on together with the United Sovereign Kingdoms of Rhodevus. In order to help GHSAO blossom from a smaller organization into a large intergovernmental one, where other countries would also begin to contribute funding and other input into GHSAO’s work, the administration has stated that support from the USA might be very useful, however, the body will simultaneously try to grow on its own as well. Focusing more on the USA’s significance these days, the government has also been recently talking on having Sunrisia join the USA as a full member, which would include our participation in both the Security Council and the General Assembly, as Sunrisia is currently a member of the Security Council only.
