OOC: As usual, this is an information given by the broadcasters and their respective commentators.

The Aruthyan Arena was ready. Despite being the smallest World Hit Festival venue ever (with capacity for only 12,500 people), the whole complex was bursting with excitement. The WHF original format had come back, and the number of applications received had surpassed all expectations... The 13th World Hit Festival would mark a rebirth for the contest. In the outside, snow was falling... Something very uncommon for Sirushostan, but it somehow showed how magical the night was. KBBS, in partnership with EUSK1, was holding for the first time the prestigious contest; thanks to Sergei Aramov & Carla Rezantia's WHF12 winning entry, "Time To Make A Change" (which, by the way, will be the opening act).

The hosts would be Alena, Kingsley Bedford's biggest pop star; and Alexei Volkov, a very famous TV presenter. The stage had been designed by Kingfordian set designer, Igor Valakovsky, who has designed the stages for several Kingfordian national finals for WorldVision and designed the set for the 2013 Kingfordian music awards.

Suddenly, the WHF logo appeared in the screens of all the viewers, and all over the arena, as well. It was 20:22 (local time, UTC+12).

WHF13 had kicked off!

OPENING ACT
"CHANGES"

The stage is pitch black, but Sergei and Carla (the winners of the 12th World Hit Festival) are already located on the main stage surrounded by a group of dancers, circling them as the music begins to play. The background behind them depicts an aurora pattern which is further enhanced by the blue stage lighting that is dominating the arena. And as such, they begin to sing their winning song from the previous year.

Sergei sings solo the first stranza...
"Look and see what we've done, we can only blame ourselves
The time has come to change it all, to clean up this mess
You can't say there is nothing wrong, don't deny it to yourself"

But for the rest of the song, they start singing as a duet
"Together we can make things better tonight
Together we can make things alright.... it's time."

During the chorus the dancers surrounding Sergei and Carla move back and forth in a pulsating motion. as the camera pans above the stage, depicting them from a bird's-eye-view.
"It's time to make a change, don't look back as we unite
It's such a senseless fight
Let's remember what we've lost"

As the tempo picks up, strobe lights begin to flash as the cameras pan across the arena and towards the front of the stage.
"It's time to make a change, don't look back as we unite
It's such a senseless fight
Let's remember what we've lost"

For the second verse, the camera focuses on Carla who is singing the verse.
"We can overcome the pain
We will rise above it all
We'll do it together, you and me
We can win against them"

As they begin to sing the prechorus & chorus Sergei and Carla begin to walk towards the catwalk and satellite stage, the camera follows
"Together we can make things better tonight
Together we can make things alright
It's time"

They begin to walk down the catwalk towards the satellite stage.
"It's time to make a change, don't look back as we unite
It's such a senseless fight
Let's remember what we've lost
Oh yes it's time to make a change, don't look back as we unite
It's such a senseless fight
Let's remember what we've lost"

They reach the satellite stage in time for the bridge, which as soon as they step on to it the levitating platform begins to lift them up slowly, blue lights surround them as they sing the bridge, rising above the audience.
"Emerging from the shadows we will change it all
Lives may be shattered but together we will make it through it all
ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh oooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh"

They sing the final chorus
"It's time to make a change, don't look back as we unite
It's such a senseless fight
Let's remember what we've lost
Oh yes tonight we're gonna make a change
Don't look back as we unite
It's such a sense less fight
Let's remember what we've lost"

As the song finishes, the platform begins to lower. And Sergei and Carla thank the cheering crowd...
Sergei: "Thank You! Welcome to Sirushostan!"
Carla: "Now please welcome your hosts, Alena & Alexei Volkov!"

(Blue for Alexei, Black for Alena, Green for both)

Alena (dressed as in the picture) and Alexei Volkov (dressed as in the picture too) appeared in the levitating platform of the satellite stage, "rising" from the ground. The panoramic camera was shooting the roaring crowd, but gradually zoomed in on the hosts, watching them closely as they welcomed everyone to the 13th World Hit Festival...

- GOOD EVENING WORLD! WELCOME TO KINGSLEY BEDFORD!
(*The audience cheers excited as the camera flies over them*)
- How is everybody toniiiight?
(*Everyone cheers*)
- Well, that's what I call excitement. Hello everyone, and welcome to Sirushostan's Aruthyan Arena!
- Yeap. And you know why is this arena important tonight? Well.. It's all because of the...
- THIRTEENTH WORLD HIT FESTIVAL!
(*Everyone cheers again*)
- Tonight, we celebrate it's been two years since the sixth edition of the World Hit Festival... By hosting the thirteenth edition!
- That's true. A lot of entries have dazzled us throughout the months with their awesomeness
- But how is that possible Alexei? We've just been participating since last edition!
- Well... KBBS has always shown the Euskirribakondaran broadcast of the festival since WHF7
- Oh, that's right! And that's why we were ready for the win right when we debuted, right?
- *laughs* Who knows... Who knows. But let's stop with this nonsense chatting and let's introduce ourselves, shall we?
- I think so too!... My name is Alena, and this handsome boy by my side is Alexei Volkov
- We'll be your hosts for this magical evening
- Speaking of magical, we shall thank Korbia for hosting the last edition twelve weeks ago
- We shall also thank Sergei and Carla for the opening act, and of course, for bringing the WHF down to these lands
- Agreed! Let's also thank Igor Valakovsky for the stage he designed to let every entry shine tonight
- Perfect.... Let's now take a look at the twenty-eight nations competing for the WHF crown tonight....

The screens show the countries, their flags and their voting number; with the voting indications given by each participating broadcaster appearing below on each country.

- You just saw it, people... And you, the audience, are responsible for 50% of the final outcome... So get ready to vote when it's time!
- The other 50% is determined by a professional jury in each participating country
- Televoting, in the other hand, can be done using a telephone line, sending SMSs, hashtagging tweets and through our online application
- That reminds me... Big hello to everyone watching us through the webcast at whf.com and eusk1.eu!
- We will explain it better when the moment comes, but for now... Sit back and enjoy the entries, because they are.... (*thinks*)
- There's no way to explain how good they are, huh?
- Hahahaha, yeah. Anyway... Are you ready, 12 500 attendants inside the Aruthyan Arena???
(*Crowd roars*)
- Are you ready, 28 artists???
(*The cameras show the green-room where the 28 artists are waving their flags and cheering*)
- Are you ready at home? (*points to the camera*) Yeah, you?
- Everything's ready then.... Let's enjoy this show
- TOGETHER IN SIRUSHOSTAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!

Pyros exploded from all over the stage, revealing it in its full glory. The cameras made panoramic flights above a flag-waving crowd, and the lights were rapidly travelling all over the place. A helicopter showed the arena from the outside, with its lights pointing at the sky in the snowy misty Sirushostani night. Then everything went black.... Ready for the first postcard, and the entry number 268 in the history of the contest.

Post your entries and performance description from now on.

You have to put on your performance the number of the posting order. (01 if you've posted first, 02 if you've posted second, 03 if you've posted third, 04 if you've posted fourth, etc.) The IC date is Friday January 17th, 2014! But you can post ONLY until Monday January 6th.

Take into account how the stage IS. Also, post your postcard in the beggining of your entry's post (the postcards are the images that appear in the above list of participants [ask me for help if you don't know how to]). Please try not to put placeholders if you're not 100% sure you'll actually post an entry.

The stage features a main stage, with multiple levels and movable floors, a catwalk and satelite stage, with a levitating platform. The set backdrop is created by a digital projection wall, which is powered by 10 high quality digital projectors which give a high quality picture that can be customised for each act. It provides a clearer picture than an LED screen and is not pixilated creating a more realistic backdrop for each act. The set will look great on the television and in the arena and its design allows for it to be seen from all corners of the arena. The stage will have special effect capabilites such as various pyrotechnics, lasers and of course lighting effects in addition to the projection wall.

START POSTING NOW!

.02..

Nonstop

Tuntua

Tuntua is a small group that just recently started making music, represented in the public eye mainly by Ansa Buchholz, the main singer. The group is not very well-known in Tödlichebujoku, but was noticed by SterGo100 for their distinctive style.
Image

Ansa Buchholz sits on one of several differently-sized gray cubes. The stage is gray and dimly lit
I look at you, nonstop
Hold you till we both drop

The stage brightens to silver and white
You are, greater than Adonis's handsomeness
You know whatever you do
I'm there for you

The lights flash
Love's divine, it has struck like a lightning bolt
Whatever you're through
I'll stand by you

The stage tints pale yellow, with a faint yellow glow along each edge of the background screens (slightly more intense in the center), for the next lines before returning
You can run off for a thousand flings
I'll help you through with everything
Your body is now murmuring

The lights continuously sweep over the audience for the chorus
Oh yeah, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Oh we, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Nonstop, Nonstop

Everything returns to monochrome
I know, no matter how crude and heartless you may seem
In that heart of déjà vu
Is a core of truth

All the time, I see you in your mystery
That one sense of doubt
Might rescue you

The faint yellow returns, strengthening slowly
You may feel like you're floundering
But I don't care just what you think
My heart is always fluttering

You can run off for a thousand flings
I'll help you through with everything
Your body is now murmuring

The yellow dissipates and the lights sweep over the audience like before
We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Oh yeah, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Nonstop, Nonstop

Oh we should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Yeah, we should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Nonstop, Nonstop

The stage darkens and spotlights move to a male dancer clad in black dancing to the right of her
So many things that we can both create
My fires burn hot yet my heart is fluttering
Fluttering

The spotlights move to a dancer to the left of her
Can you tell that we both are meant to be
So many things you just might not get to see
Might not get to see

Everything brightens and the lights cycle again for the chorus. Fog invades the stage floor, starting from the back
We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Oh we should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Nonstop, Nonstop

We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
We should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Yeah we should, we should, be here forever (nonstop)
Nonstop, Nonstop

Her cube rises above the fog and all the spotlights focus on her
I look at you, nonstop
Right till we both drop

Sparks shoot out from both ends of the stage after the last word

Ansa stands up when the cube lowers, bows, and shouts,"Thank you, everyone!" before leaving the stage.

3. Lanos

“The Song (What Will Lanos Sing?)” by Foxy Shouting
Based from “The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)” by Ylvis
YouTube Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jofNR_WkoCE

A crowd of backup dancers took to the stage first before the two singers took to the stage. The two (both male) were in tuxedos while the dancers were in outfits of various participants in WHF, just not in anything remotely Lanosian. The two main singers were on the small upper part of the stage while the rest were on the larger and lower part. The main singers both took the microphones and began to sing after the intro began.

Yakostan goes baa
Luziyca goes “wut”
Kingsley goes home
And Zwangzug goes sax

Quebec goes bonjour
Kish goes shalom
And the commentators go blah

Euski goes away
Quinn goes to host
And Tobu goes fuck fuck fuck

All the while, the dancers danced and whirled around with the various flags of the nations mentioned, with each mention the specific dancer displayed the flag of the nation mentioned. The routine continued until all the flags were placed down for the next part. It was a slow organization around the singers in a circle while:

But there’s one song
That we won’t know…
What will Lanos sing?

After the last line, some could say hell broke loose.

Fight-fi-fi-fi-fi-fi-fight!
Fight-fi-fi-fi-fi-fi-fight!
Fight-fi-fi-fi-fi-fi-fight!
What will Lanos sing?

Everyone on stage took to dancing like the rock band from WV21, acting out playing a drum set, guitars, and headbanging. The singers acted like nothing was remotely wrong and continued to sing that way. The background images, previously showing flags and colors, went to showing rock concerts and mosh pits. Like it was.

Ground-gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-ground!
Ground-gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-ground!
Ground-gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-ground!
What will Lanos sing?

Blue Void was channeled for this with images of a triangle absorbing all light, some hole in the ground, and eventually two talking heads floating in space. The rock thing continued but slower and people acted like they were stoned.

Vic-vic-vic-victory day!
Vic-vic-vic-victory day!
Vic-vic-vic-victory day!
What will Lanos sing?

What was that band? Who cared. All that mattered was people walking like mindless zombies on stage while the singers were the energetic fucks dancing like crazy, managing to don college wear. The background reacted appropriately, showing a college football game and the usual scenes.

Leedle leedle leedle lee!
Leedle leedle leedle lee!
Leedle leedle leedle lee!
What will Lanos sing?

Of course, this one had to make no sense. The dancers grabbed boat wheels and began to act like Patrick with both singers playing the part. The screens likewise showed that ghost ship and the Flying Dutchman flew across the venue in 3D laser epicness.

Then everyone put the props down.

Unknown song
No idea
What to sing
And what to bring

No chance to win
No top 10
We always have no clue

Our hope is bleak
No hope at all
Like an unlucky soul

This part showed everyone take off the costumes, revealing Lanosians in their usual garb and expecting no mercy. Lanos could be said that they couldn't do jack in WorldVision so hey, let's make fun of ourselves. People on stage danced like they gave no fucks or had no idea what they were doing. Images of the meme showed as well, even one befitting President Marina Aruthyan (later said to not approve of the reference).

But this part had the dancers get on their knees to beg to high heaven facing toward the crowd:
But if we
Had a chance
Could we sing some
R-r-r-r-r-Rybak
R-r-r-r-r-Rybak
R-r-r-r-r-Rybak

Can we sing with some
E-e-e-e-e-Elena
E-e-e-e-e-Elena
E-e-e-e-e-Elena
What will Lanos sing?

The dancers had no sense of bowing, not to these artists, but their tone implied Lanos was one desperate shithole looking for something good. It didn't matter just what.

Sch-sch-sch-sch-sch-schnell!
Sch-sch-sch-sch-sch-schnell!
Sch-sch-sch-sch-sch-schnell!
What will Lanos sing?

Go-go-go-go-go-going home!
Go-go-go-go-go-going home!
Go-go-go-go-go-going home!
What will Lanos sing?

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!
What will Lanos sing?

Like the last part, hell broke loose as dancers and the singers went on about how they would go home (with some Cartman channeled) for the whole part. Background and lighting continued to reinforce the part (politely) with the end showing everyone clearing the small high part of the stage for the end.

We need our lady’s help
The great Lady Marina
She’s the one that can help
Where could she be?
What is your choice?
Will we ever hear from you?
Will we never get help?
What is our song?

With the dancers on their knees but not the singers, the background went white and angelic. At this point, now the Lanosians were asking their patron saint, Lady Marina Devorska for help. The shit, people. That's just desperation. They didn't care though.

You’re our patron saint
Resting in your Kirche
What is our song?

Surprise, people. A Lady Marina character, with three young children, rose from the center of the stage. Now everyone was on their knees.

And she sang:
Lady Marina:
S-s-s-sing from the heart! S-s-s-sing from the heart!

Will we hear from you?

We need your
Lady Marina:
F-f-f-from the heart!

We need your
We need your help!

Lady Marina:
S-s-s-sing from the heart! S-s-s-sing from the heart!

The song ended with everyone but the Lady and the kids on their knees slowly rise and face the crowd, taking a bow and thanking the crowd for watching. Only time would tell if this worked for Lanos.

Anna Bovalovo and her song, Broken Heart, had been internally selected by a handful of professional music critics to represent Polkopia at the 13th World Hit Festival. Polkopia has had moderate success with the contest, their highest placing being second place at the 11th World Hit Festival with Kala Polotnava's song, Polona, which was sung in complete Polkopian. This song, however, will be sung in the English language, a language that is understood around the world, for the most part.

Anna Bovalovo took her place on stage, accompanied with four background singers, each of whom took their place at the back corner of the stage, nearly hidden from view. She wore a black mourning dress, with the veil completely covering her face. The stage around her was completely dark, except for a heart on the background screen, which seemed to be barely pumping. Scratches along the heart show an illustration of blood leaking out of various spots from the heart. She lifted the microphone to her face and sung, her head facing the ground.

You took my happiness
The moment you left me
Standing, looking back at you
Wondering where I went wrong

I know you had loved me
And I know I still love you
But now that it has ended
I stand, all alone
Forever wondering how we lost it

The lights and background screen lights up and it seems that golden shapes of all different sizes are being hurled at the heart, but the heart is deflecting the shapes into darkness. Anna looks up at the crowd now, still singing.

My heart
You broke it into pieces, left it for dead
My heart
It struggles to breathe again, gasping for air
My heart
You crushed it in your grip, and now it bleeds
My heart, it's broken
My poor heart
My broken heart

She takes a moment to almost throw off her veil and anger, her face revealing anger, determination, and also a hint of sadness as she continued to sing.

The moment you had left me
And realized it was not meant to be
I was hurt at first, yes
But I kept pressing on
For I know that we will both find someone else.

Now, flames begin to appear on the very edges of the background screen, the shapes that were once hurling at the heart now turn into small fireballs.

My heart
You broke it into pieces, left it for dead
My heart
It struggles to breathe again, gasping for air
My heart
You crushed it in your grip, and now it bleeds
My heart, it's broken
My poor heart
My broken heart

My heart
You broke it into pieces, left it for dead

Now, she rips off her dress, revealing simple, white dress. The background shows the flames now reaching the heart, but the heart managing to resist the flames. Now, the heart seems stronger, no longer spilling out blood.

My heart
You broke it into pieces, left it for dead

My heart, it's broken
My poor heart
My broken heart

As she ends the note, she looks at the crowd, a big smile on her face. "Thank you!" She says and trots off.

05. Kishrael - קיסרל
Ahavah Haza - Ani M'nagenet Ha'Chatzotzrah (I Play The Trumpet)
אהבה הזה - אני מנגןת החצוצרה

Language: English, Hebrew

To the Tune Of - Svetlana Loboda - Be My Valentine

Kishrael had sent a relatively unique song to the previous World Hit Festival, with its modern production and abstract lyrics. This gamble, being the first entry from broadcaster "Miqlat", seemed to pay off, for the most part, giving Kishrael a 6th place finish, but some were disappointed with that position, suggesting that one of the more innovative songs had been trumped by lacklustre efforts from Kalosia and Euskirribakondara. Despite this, the show had been a success for ratings on the Miqlat channels, gaining them a 400,000 peak viewing number, extremely high for a small private channel. This year, they wanted somebody big, someone that could push their ratings even higher, and someone who would be remembered. The person they wanted would come at a price, but she could be found, it was Ahavah Haza.

The stage bursts into seductive colours, dark reds, pinks, everything, and a large flower which has failed to bloom can be seen on the stage. Two backing dancers, dressed like this can be seen either side of the stage. They sing the first line of the song, as the flower opens, revealing a huge, dazzling light from inside, out steps Ahavah, dressed in a body suit, but painted black, with glitter all around, giving her the appearance of nakedness. With her, two men step out, they are naked, save for a pair of tight leather thongs.

You are sexy boy…

As the trumpets increase in noise and power, Ahavah dances seductively, her body curving slowly to the music, not jerking but writhing to the beat.

Atah kol kakh seqsi - אתה כל כך סקסי
V’ani nikshelet l’ta’er - ואני נכשלת לתאר
Ha’davarim ani rotzah la’asot l’kha - הדברים אני רוצה לעשות לך
Ani lo hovah ha’zman - אני לא הווה הזמן
Le’erov misaviv - לארב מסביב
Az yallah havah hitpashet, atah yakol l’mashmesh zot? - ?אז יאללה הבה היטפשת, אתה יכול למשמש זאת

You are so sexy
And I fail to describe
The things I wanna' do to you
I do not have the time
To lurk around
So come on let us undress, can you handle this?

She begins to march on the spot, the two men following suit, they then drop to the floor, crawling at her feet, before their hands make their way up her body, as she dances to the music still, enjoying the touch of the dancers.

I’ll call you on the phone
Salacious undertone
You’re the best I’ve ever known
And I’m gonna’ make you moan!

Baby, baby I’ve been told
That I, play the trumpet good
If you let me play yours too
I’ll get sweet music from you

As the chorus finishes, she skips to the side of the stage, as her two male dancers pick up buckets of water and throw it on one another. She then walks over to them and dances in between them, she two becoming wet.

Ani hitahavti - אני התאהבתי
Ani nafalti kol kakh mizman - אני נפלתי כל כך מזמן
Aval akhshayv ani lo yakolah lachakot - אבל עכשיו אני לא יכולה לחכות
Ani m’nasah l’histakhel - אני מנסה להסתכל
Rachoq mimekha adam - רחוק ממך אדם
Aval kamah davarim gam bilti efsari - אבל כמה דברים גם בלתי אפשרי

I have fallen in love
I fell so long ago
But now I cannot wait
I try to look away
From your being
But some things are too impossible

She sings the next part while walking to the headland style part of the stage, squatting occasionally to enhance the sexiness of her performance. Her two dancers join her, as she does the famous, slut drop move between them, before shaking her bottom while working her way back up.

Endurance that’s unmatched
Tactics I will dispatch
But the blue eyes you possess
Tell me you can handle that
I'm up for anything, I'm down for whatever
So let's enjoy ourselves on a sexy endeavour

Baby, baby I’ve been told
That I, play the trumpet good
If you let me play yours too
I’ll get sweet music from you

As the extended musical interlude appears, she skips back to the main stage, and gets into the flower once again. Water falls from the ceiling, soaking everyone, including Ahavah in the process. The flower begins to rise, and her body paint begins to drop off, revealing that she is actually naked. Luckily, the petals are large enough to cover any indecent images.

Yeah, aha
You are sexy boy…
You are sexy boy
You are perfection
How is it even possible?
You are sexy bom bom!

The flower reaches the top of the stage, and the bright light from inside the flower shines again, blurring Ahavah out as she sings the final chorus.

Baby, baby I’ve been told
That I, play the trumpet good
If you let me play yours too
I’ll get sweet music from you
Baby, give me all you’ve got
‘Cause you’re, you are so damn hot
I’m your puppet on a string
For you, I’ll do anything

"Thank you!" She cried, waving, accidentally revealing a little bit of nipple, "I love you all!".

6. Zavlia
Kanslav: Cirkolav
Kanslakhem: Ajda Hezilor
Muzilav: Hessa Brik
Corigorlav: Ina Manor

Tune: Mecbursun-Sertab Erener

This will be Zavlia’s first entry into the World Hit Festival. An entry was sent to the junior version but now TelZav decided to find an act to represent Zavlia. They selected Ajda Hezilor, who is an Oncler singer. Oncler is traditional Zavlian music accompanied by belly dancing. Although it does not appeal to international taste. This music is composed by Hessa Brik uses a mixture of Zavlian and western music.
Timur Onc, WorldVision veteran takes the stage and walks over to the orchestra. He bows to the audience and receives applause. Ajda wearing a mystic meg costumeright of the stage and a microphone stand is on the far left. On stage with her is a boy and a girl wearing clown costumes riding around the stage of tricycles, a joker , a ballet dancer , a strong man and an acrobat
As the music starts, Ajda dances and twirls across the stage while the ballet dancer, joker, acrobat encircle her and the clown pedal their tricycles across the stage over to where the strong man is lifting weights. Ajda stands behind the mic stand, as she sings, her entourage do actions typical of their characters. Ballet moves, acrobatics, jumping around pulling faces etc.

Sin ve ani bi uti Rakhnolavac,
Ekital umrashor, ani ali do besh shutlior.
Drejzel ania uti Radzalavac,
Onra Mesalema, lo akshi mitga.

Ajda ruffles her dress, and her entourage claps, the audience joins in clapping along.

Senja, senja coplajor
Besh evet progressa
Cok lo ilama, mai ahava

Rikutum i Vaklavac
Azimkhem lo azimjit
Loshim ozla kailev ve uler ma

The two child clowns and joker steal the mic stand and run over to the other side of the stage, while Ajda, the ballet dancer and the acrobat dance over to the new position of the mic stand.

Som Tejkalav blaga vek
Ani talanzi, shirlam sin bi Blaglav
Cirkolav Cirkolav des Leblav
Neshualav bilautum hav

The two children are holding either side of a cross bar as the muscle man lift up the bar and press it over his head.

Senja senja coplajor
Besh jor lish, besh lo hunja
Hatama, ani kal ilama.

Rikutum i Vaklavac
Sovajim Liolav
Ani kal sina sko, nuz pam ania

Ajda takes hold with the jester and they waltz around the stage as the two children are on the see-saw, the acrobat is on a low level tight rope doing tricks as the ballet dancer, dances around the muscle man.

Som Gelaktak Damlav
Sin geloffa ania som Mapilav
Prisha ania, Muskalem lo ejak
Sin bi riktim Hoslav, ahava

The muscle man lifts and throws the ballet dancer up and down as she pulls various shapes. The children are back on the tricycles circling around Ajda.

Senja Senja coplajor
Pubkilav apulorda besha
Eri besh shutibak lokha lokha

Ajda takes the mic from the stand and holds the little girl’s hand as she and the two children run down the runway to the end as she sings the next verse.

Vis maia Geziklava ma
Makillalav lo quamirat
Shagolav do ani com riv

All the performers are on the walk way, clapping and engaging with the audience.

Senja senja coplajor
Puntlav des azal bi dak ?
Geli uti Rakhnolavac
Cok teat lokha !

Ajda pushes the air on the last note. The audience cheer and clap, the camera cuts to the Zavlian audience members who wave the Zavlian flag. The minister for culture is pictured applauding Ajda. She bows and thanks the audience. They all exit via the right screen.

Translation
You and I are on the tight rope,
Balance carefully, I think that we will fall.
Turn me on the wheel,
Throw the knife, don’t pretend to miss.

Pedal, pedal in circles
We never get anywhere
Let’s not get off dear

Trapped in the box,
No escape artist would escape
Please let me out and breathe

Like a clown telling jokes but,
I am laughing, the joke is on you
The circus, the circus that is our life,
Our relationship is fun to watch.

Pedal pedal in circles
Where are we going, we don’t know
Stop, I want to get off

Trapped in the cage
You wild lion
I want you there, far away from me

Like the bearded lady
You treat me like a freak
Slapping me around, muscles don’t mean
You are a man dear.

Pedal pedal in circles
The audience applauds
As we fall again and again

Look at my face
The make up doesn’t hide
The sadness that I have

Pedal pedal in circles
What is the point of this?
Walking up on the tight rope

Let’s perform it all again!

7|TUNGLANES
Tár Elísabetar (Tears of Elizabeth) - Elskan (Ekki Gráta) [Darling (Don't Cry)]

in the tune of Monster - Meg & Dia

Kristjana Sings
Ragnhildur Sings
They both sing

Ragnhildur and Kristjana, a drummer, 2 electric guitar players and a bass player, all stand on the stage, all side by side, except the drummer, which is in the back, and much higher then them. Then the drummer starts and then the guitars and bass follow, they all say "aaa" silently in a their microphones, and then they stop when Kristjana starts. The LED screen is of a burning pentagram... and then the singing starts.

Þær reyna’ð öskra,
en þær get’ ei talað
Og þær reyn’ að hlaupa
en eru fastar

Then Ragnhildur drags her microphone near her, and they both start to sing the rest of the verse (Ragnhildur sings deeper and her voice can't be heard very well, since her microphone was in a lower volume then Kristjana's microphone, And of course Kristjana sings stronger then Ragnhildur. ).

Hún reynir að berjast á móti-i-i
en fellur bar’ fyrir stjórnini-i-i

Then all the lights shut down, and most of the lights go on Kristjana's face. and only one of the guitar player plays. The led screen changed into a moon with a dark, star infested background, she starts to sing, with a really beautiful tone.

Elskan,
Ekki Gráta
Þetta Batnar
Þetta stríð mun enda

Koen entered the stage in a tuxedo and other man in same tuxedos appeared with girls in orange dresses.

The tune began to play.

Als ik jou zie
word ik blij
en jij bent gewoon speciaal
je kijkt naar mij
en dan bloos ik.

ik heb een sleutel voor jou
maar je neemt hem niet
oh schat.
waarom misleid je mij.

Weg naar m'n hart
Te moeilijk voor jou.
Maar nu, heb je een ander.

the girls and other boys where shuffeling, and Koen did this to, but lonely.

Zolang ik jou ken
klopt mijn hart snel.

Kijk naar mij.
En ik bloos.
Jij bent de ster in mijn leven
een heldere lichtpuntje
maar je mislijd me.

Weg naar m'n hart
te moeilijk voor jou.

a couple broke up the men left the stage and the girl approached Koen.
they began to shuffle, and the others wer forming an U shape arround them.

Nu ben je bij me.
Bij mij voor altijd.

Je hebt de sleutel,
Naar m'n hart.

Naar m'n hart.
Geen mislijding meer.

Het is nu echte liefde

Weg naar m'n hart.
Je hebt de sleutel.
Ga nooit bij me weg.

the lights turned off and the dancers bow, and Koen kissed the girl, applauded bowed and left.

09 - VAMPIRUM
ALIXA - INVIZIBIL
TUNE: KATY PERRY - UNCONDITIONALLY | INSTRUMENTAL VERSION

Alixa was a rare singer in Vampirum, mostly due to the fact that she was one of the few humans in the industry. This, of course, was the reason Alixa moved to Vampirum from the United States in the first place. She wanted to advance her singing career and Vampirum offered her the chance. After her first single Alixa quickly became a household name, and only two years after moving to the vampire nation she was given the opportunity to represent Vampirum at the World Hit Festival. Being chosen internally meant she had done more than made a name for herself -- she had gained the hope that Vampirum would finally win a music competition. The weight was on her shoulders.

The stage was dark as Alixa took her place in a red dress. Behind her, fourteen ballroom dancers (seven males and seven females) dressed in black and red stood coupled together. Musicians started playing the melody before the lights dimly turned on and transitioned between dark gray and blue according to the music patterns. The background screen displayed a falling snow pattern and a spotlight trained on Alixa who was shown rising on the levitating platform. The male dancers on the large area of the stage behind her began stepping with their female partners as Alixa sung the first verse.

Time freeze, all your frosted lies
Agendas in disguise
Your words are poison to me
So close, you never really knew
How much I see through you
There’ll never be a next time

The male dancers twirled their female dancers in the air as the lights flashed, and the next moment Alixa was now standing on the right side of the stage. She rose her hand out to the crowd as she sung the chorus to them.

Invizibil
Invizibil la mă
Veți fi invizibil la mă

Erasing it all now
Pretend you were never around
Veți fi invizibil la mă

The screen displayed another snowy pattern and the lights turned to bright hues of blue, white, and gray. The female dancers stepped away from their male partners and shivered as if displaying how cold their male counterparts made them.

The cameras zoomed in on Alixa as her expression turned sad and her voice turned melancholy.

Cold touch, you never felt too warm
The danger in the storm
There was no shelter from you
But clouds are starting to clear up
Along with the end of all my trust
Cause you’re invisible to me
Invisible

The lights flashed again, and this time snow began falling from the ceiling onto the crowd and the stage. The spotlight on Alixa shifted through several colors before stopping abruptly. A second later they intensified and flared across the entire complex.

Invizibil
Invizibil la mă
Veți fi invizibil la mă

Erasing it all now
Pretend you were never around
Veți fi invizibil la mă

The male dancers moved closer to the females but they only took another step back as well, putting more space between them. The males slid across the stage until they were all surrounding Alixa. Together, the dancers began swaying to the music in a circle pattern around her. Alixa and her background singers rose their voices as they sung the bridge.

Burning up my love like it’s gasoline
Standing in the fog that’s between you and me
You’re strangling my heart, making it hard to breathe
You’re burning up my love

In a instant all the dancers fell to the floor and the lights dimmed until only Alixa could be seen on stage. Snowflakes fell down on her as she sung with more sadness in her voice.

So goodbye to everything you say
I’ll watch you fade away
With all your childish games

The stage lights brightened and the dancers slowly rose from the floor. The music kicked back in, causing the lights to flash for the last time and the snow began falling even harder on the stage.

Invizibil
Invizibil la mă
Veți fi invizibil la mă

Erasing it all now
Pretend you were never around
Veți fi invizibil la mă yeahhh

The male dancers took the females by the hand and together they pulled each other back and forth. Alixa looked out into the crowd as she sung the ending of the song with everything she had.

Oh oh oh oh
Veți fi
Oh oh oh
Invizibil la mă

Veți fi
Oh oh oh oh
Veți fi invizibil la mă

With the end of the song the female dancers finally pulled away from the males before they and Alixa walked into the dark part of the stage leaving the males alone in the falling snow.

The audience cheered loudly as a spotlight trained back on Alixa. She waved at them before blowing a kiss. "Mulțumesc! Thank you!" With a bow she left the stage with the dancers following behind her.

Invizibil la mă = Invisible to me.
Veți fi invizibil la mă = You'll be invisible to me.
Mulțumesc = Thank you.

Song Title: Leave
Artist: Helen Mirno
Genre: Pop
Tune: Ellie Goulding - Burn

Helen lies on her back on the raised platform on the extension of the stage, looking directly up into the camera as the music starts. She stands up on the last line.

You, told me we were gonna be different (different)
Cos you said you, you had never felt anything like this (like this)
Now you're tryna tell me you wanna leave, wanna leave
Think again - you can't retreat oh so easily, easily

She walks towards the center of the stage, landing and turning to face the audience as she sings "but you know love's no game."

Cos you know things are good, we've been happy and safe
And I know things can change, it ain't easy to stay
But you know love's no game, you can't quit when it's tough
Can't just up and run, run, run
It's about the trust, trust, trust

The lights in the arena, which had previously been a rather plain, yet flattering, neutral tone, erupt in bright white flashes around the edges of the stage, with red and yellow washes fading in and out, and an abstract red and yellow design slowly moves in the back wall and side wings.

I'm not gonna let you leave, leave, leave, leave
I'm telling you to man up, face this
Baby don't you love, love, love, me?
Ain't gonna let you leave, leave, leave, leave

The lights return to normal. Helen gets braver and stronger with this verse, a confident, optimistic smile on her face. Falling showers of sparks line the back of the stage.

Now we rule the world, yeah, there is nothing in our way (our our-our-our way)
And we are free, we're doing everything we ever wanted to do, and doing it how we want it
It's coming true, we're getting real, we braved the burns, to come out like saints
And it's all so real, I reach and touch, so you gotta know, to stay with me (stay with me)

She reaches towards the camera and audience, holding that pose for the pre-chorus. The red and yellow pattern emerges again, this time spreading to the lights under the lip of the stage as well. The sparks fall in waves, growing in intensity and then decreasing over counts of four.

Cos you know things are good, we've been happy and safe
And I know things can change, it ain't easy to stay
But you know love's no game, you can't quit when it's tough
Can't just up and run, run, run
It's about the trust, trust, trust

She regains the confident, hopeful smile as she sings to different places in the audience bank. She takes a few steps forward on the stage so she is right on the edge of it. At the end of this verse, all lighting special effects turn off, and the light only shines from above and slightly to the front of her.

I'm not gonna let you leave, leave, leave, leave
I'm telling you to man up, face this
Baby don't you love, love, love, me?
Ain't gonna let you leave, leave, leave, leave

She leans into this verse, becoming insistent yet remaining cheerful. She sits on the edge of the stage after the first set of "leave."

Cos you know things are good, we've been happy and safe
And I know things can change, it ain't easy to stay
Not gonna let you leave, leave, leave, leave (leave leave)

Leave, leave, leave, leave (leave leave)

She looks directly into the camera, luring the viewer in, pleading for you to have an honest conversation with her. It is attention-grabbing in a true way. She jumps up when the drums kick back in and begins to move her body slowly. She takes a few steps back.

You don't want to le-e-eave
You're just afraid of fa-alling
You'll never get eno-o-ough
If you won't even try-y-y
You don't want to le-e-eave
You're just afraid of fa-alling
You'll never get eno-o-ough
If you won't even try-y-y

She smiles coyly as she takes this verse to prepare for the energy and emotion of the remainder of the song.

Cos you know things are good, we've been happy and safe
And I know things can change, it ain't easy to stay
But you know love's no game, you can't quit when it's tough
Can't just up and run, run, run
It's about the trust, trust, trust

The red and yellow pattern is back, more vibrant than ever. Towers of sparks erupt around the edges of the stage on the downbeat. She is more confident, insistent, and joyful than ever.

I'm not gonna let you leave, leave, leave, leave
I'm telling you to man up, face this
Baby don't you love, love, love, me?
Ain't gonna let you leave, leave, leave, leave

The towers of sparks give way to showers once again. She makes her way back to the raised platform. She arrives on "can't just up and..."

Cos you know things are good, we've been happy and safe
And I know things can change, it ain't easy to stay
But you know love's no game, you can't quit when it's tough
Can't just up and run, run, run
It's about the trust, trust, trust

I'm not gonna let you leave

She smiles with earnest happiness, knowing she has just conquered the world.

Thank you Sirushostan!

Nicholas, having performed at WHF11 almost a year ago, was originally chosen to perform with this song. But after the WHF 11 date was pushed back, the song was no longer appropriate for the occasion and SKT had to choose a new song at last minute, promising him that he could enter with this song again when the time comes. Now is that time.

Nicholas stands at the mini-stage at the end of the catwalk, holding a violin, and as he starts playing, the camera moves from him to the main stage, which is empty, but the background shows typical winter scenery, with a glowing snowflake (in the same manner as a sun). As he starts singing, the stage is darkened, and a spotlight shines on Nicholas.

There is light on the left side of the main stage and a dining table appears, complete with hungry family members and typical Skandish Christmas cuisine on the table, and they start 'eating'. The snowflake in the background has started to set.

Och nu samlas vi på matbordet
För vi ha julafton måltid
Vi äter och dricka till magen är full
I den lång natten sova vi

The light on the main stage turns blue and changes its focus to the right side, where there are beds with sleeping family members. The background depicts nighttime and the snowflake shines as if it were a moon.

In this next part, the 'snowflake moon' sets, and as the 'snowflake sun' rises on the other side (left) of the stage, lights start to cover that part too, thus illuminating the entire stage. A shining Christmas tree with presents are shown. The sleeping family wakes up and excitedly hurries to the Christmas tree, and starts opening the presents. Among the gifts are sweaters, socks, and a violin.

The main stage darkens and once again, a spotlight focuses on Nicholas as he plays the violin and ends the song. He bows, and says "Thank you! Tack alla!" and gets off stage as the next entry is being prepared.

Once a year, there comes a day
Which happens at the end of the year
I've been waiting for the day and it comes soon
Finally it's coming now

Sometimes one wonders what they'll get
What Santa Claus will give them
But good things come to those who wait
It's okay as it comes soon
Yes, good things come to those who wait
We hope it is so

'Cause maybe it's a sweater or some socks
Or, if you're lucky, you'll get my violin
But we all know a certain thing
Christmas is near!

And now we gather round the table
For we have Christmas dinner
We eat and drink 'til the stomach's full
We sleep during the long night

Sometimes one dreams what they'll get
What Santa Claus will give them
But good things come to those who sleep
It's okay as it comes soon
Yes, good things come to those who sleep
Until the morning comes again

'Cause maybe it's a sweater or some socks
Or, if you're lucky, you'll get my violin
But we all know a certain thing
Christmas is here!

Christmas morning comes and everybody wakes up
There's the sun and snow outside
Inside there are presents and gifts
Which one of those are mine?

Sometimes one guesses what they'll get
What Santa Clause will give them
The Christmas tree shines and the star is brightest
We see there are presents
The Christmas tree shines and the star is brightest
It's time to open them now!

'Cause maybe it's a sweater or some socks
Or, if you're lucky, you'll get my violin
But we all know a certain thing
Christmas is here!

13. BIAŁOGÓRZE AND CZARNORZECZE
Cynamon
Głęboka Woda

Title translation: Deep Water
Language: Polish
Genre: Folk ballad

The performance of Białogórze and Czarnorzecze is soft and frugal this time. The lead singer of Cynamon - Barabasz Orsza is sitting on the chair that stands in the middle of the stage. He plays the acoustic guitar and the bright stream of white and blue light fall on his face. Barabasz wears black clothes. The rest of the stage is completely dark. The musicians of Cynamon are at the back of the scene. They are almost invisible. The song is a slow, reflexive folk ballad that says about the analogy between human life and flowing out into deep water. The instrumental background is full of gentle sound of national Białogórzan flutes - słowicze and emotional tone of Czarnorzeczan drums - buczary. On the screen behind Barabasz the viewers can see the English translation of the lyrics that is apearing gently while the artist is performing.

Wypływam na głęboką wodę (I flow out into deep water)
Wypływam sam na pełne morze (I flow out into open sea)
Choć wokół mnie wezbrane fale (Although there are raging waves around me)
Choć nikt mi nie pomoże (Although nobody will help me)

Wypływam na głęboką wodę (I flow out into deep water)
Wypływam pod przykryciem nocy (I flow out under the cover of night)
By zamaskować swoje żale (To mask my regrets)
By pokazać że nie chcę niczyjej pomocy (To show that I don't want anyone's help)

W głębokiej wodzie niczym w moich łez otchłani (In deep water like in the depths of my tears)
Zanurzam ciało nie czując gruntu pod stopami (I immerse my body not feeling the ground under my feet)
Światło latarni wytycza szlak na widnokręgu (Latern light sets the trail on the horizon)
Podczas gdy lądu stałego nie ma w mym zasięgu (When the mainland has vanished from my reach)
A biała mewa krąży wciąż nad moim czołem (And the white seagull still circulates over my forehead)
Przed sztormem ostrzega a ja tonę (She warns before the storm and I sink)

Wypływam na głęboką wodę (I flow out into deep water)
W poszukiwaniu nowych lądów (To search for new lands)
Podczas gdy ląd na którym żyłem (When the land that I lived on)
Już dawno zniknął z horyzontu (Has disappeared from the horizon long ago)

Wypływam na głęboką wodę (I flow out into deep water)
Nie zważam na burzowe chmury (I don't care about storm clouds)
Choć z każdym ruchem tracę siłę (Although I lose strength with every movement)
To jestem pewien, że ktoś czuwa tam u góry (I am sure that somebody ensures up there)

Kiedy przyjdzie na mnie czas (When the time for me comes)
Usłyszę ciszę w oku cyklonu (I will hear the silence in the eye of the cyclone)
A król Posejdon ze swego tronu (And King Poseidon from his throne)
Zada pytanie: (Will ask the question)
"Po co ci było na wielką wodę wypływanie?" ("Why did you flow out into great water?")

Przed sztormem ostrzega a ja ... (She warns before the storm and I ...)

W głębokiej wodzie niczym w moich łez otchłani (In deep water like in the depths of my tears)
Zanurzam ciało nie czując gruntu pod stopami (Immerse my body not feeling the ground under my feet)
Światło latarni wytycza szlak na widnokręgu (Latern light sets the trail on the horizon)
Podczas gdy lądu stałego nie ma w mym zasięgu (When the mainland has vanished from my reach)

15- KINGSLEY BEDFORD
KLARA VOLKOVA- LOVESTUCK
Tune- Solayoh- Alyona Lanskaya

Klara Volkova was chosen to represent Kingsley Bedford internally, the 22 year old singer had recently rose to fame in Kingsley Bedford after winning the second season of "The Voice of Kingsley Bedford". She had chosen to sing a ethnic-pop number called "Lovestruck" and was very proud to be representing her country on home soil and hoped she could deliver a great result.

In the middle of the stage was a platform where Klara would be singing her song from. There were also 3 dancers in a circle around the platform. The stage background showed an image of animated love hearts. The crowd cheered loudly as they waited for the music to start.

As the music started, The camera showed Klara being lowered from the ceiling onto the platform. She was wearing this dress flames were shooting from the front of the stage until she began to sing.

VERSE 1:
Such a magical moment
It really blows my mind
I need someone to revive me
everytime that you're around

Can't you feel my heartbeat
Can't you feel it pulsating now
It's coming at me, taking over me
Can't you read me now

An incredible emotion, Inside of me
Can't you see my heart is beating excii-iii-tedly

For the chorus the dancers close in on Klara and they dance in-sync with her. Pyrotechnic sparks shoot of the stage in time with the music.

CHORUS:
I'm Lovestruck, I'm Lovestruck
Everytime that you're looking at me
It's got me, it's got me, feeling on a high
I'm Lovestruck, I'm Lovestruck
Feel the passion within my heart
Together, together ,you and I can have a good time

In the second verse, the dancers move up to the top of the podium with Klara and one of them goes directly behind her and wraps his arms around her, lowering his hands slowly.

VERSE 2:
I can feel it coming together
You are under my spell right now
You're touching me so sweetly
Deep inside my heart feels bound

It's crazy, so insane
the power takes over me
Taking me to far away places
Places I have never been

A sensational feeling, I want to break free
From this crazyness ins-iiii-de

During the chorus the dancers, disperse off the podium and dance on the stage.

I'm Lovestruck, I'm Lovestruck
Everytime that you're looking at me
It's got me, it's got me, feeling on a high
I'm Lovestruck, I'm Lovestruck
Feel the passion within my heart
Together, together ,you and I can have a good time

Oh yeah, hey!
Oh yeah!

During the bridge, the dancers go back onto the podium and dance around her, one goes behind her and puts his arms around her again.

Bridge:
An intoxicating moment
I can hardly breathe
I want your love so baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

During the instrumental, strobe lights flash, and Klara shakes her body a little in time with the music.

Oh YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

Fire and spark pyros begin to shoot as she begins to sign another rendition of the chorus.

I'm Lovestruck, I'm Lovestruck
Everytime that you're looking at me
It's got me, it's got me, feeling on a high
I'm Lovestruck, I'm Lovestruck
Feel the passion within my heart
Together, together ,you and I can have a good time

I'm lovestruck, I'm lovestruck
Feel the passion within my heart
together, together you and I can have a good time
We can have a real good time

Sparks shoot one last time as the song finishes.
The audience cheers loudly, shouts of "KLARA, KLARA, KLARA" can be heard.
Klara blows the audience and the camera a kiss.

KLARA: THANK YOU SIRUSHOSTAN, I LOVE YOU!

As she exits the stage, the audience is still shouting "KLARA, KLARA, KLARA"

16. Syrche
Nielsen - You and I Against The World

Tune: One Direction - Another World

Lek Nielsen, at age 21, was the oldest in the trio of brothers, and had a decidedly deeper voice. He was very laid back. He had an eye for formality, but was still approachable. Rand Nielsen, aged 17, was the typically classy, fun guy. He was not afraid to have fun, even if it did occasionally make him look a bit less refined. Freddie Nielsen, at age 15, was the youngest of the group. He could sing like an angel, but he was also the mischievous one, always trying to stir things up, or get into trouble.

The Nielsen brothers, of Affinton, Syrche, had been found and signed by Kersner Media, and had been chosen to represent Syrche in the 13th Edition of World Hit Festival. This marked the first time that an Already-Signed Artist from Syrche would be represented by a record company other than Dalia Rekorder.

A large backdrop displayed This from the back of the stage. The edges of the stage were covered in Neon Blue Light. The rest of the stage was rapt in translucent Reds, Whites, and Blues, creating an ethereal Blue-Purple haze, like This

The music began. After a few seconds, a small round of Sparks shot up from the front of the stage, revealing instantaneously Lek, who began singing the first verse, while moving toward the center of the stage. He was followed by Freddie, who moved off to the right side of the main stage, and Rand, who moved inconspicuously into the shadows of the smaller, separate stage.

i don't know just what to say to reveal it
something inside is getting stronger can you feel it?

Slække glør fra z'en'side det var oarselv [releasing embers from inside ourselves ]
T'rand for altid as eldsvåda fra'oar Elske [which burn eternally as the fire of our love]

Moving from the right side of the stage, and overtaking his older brother at the center, pushing him aside, Freddie sings the bridge.

The world will hear these words
and then we'll set the stars alight

The lighting changes to This with a spotlight trained on Rand, as he sang the Chorus, with occasional harmonies from Freddie.

In my wildest dreams
i never thought
i would be hanging on your every word
We live for love,
It's all we've got,
Just know it's you and i against the world

any way, at any rate

In my wildest dreams
i never thought
it would be you and i against the world

As the chorus ended, the lighting returned to normal, and Rand was enveloped in darkness, placing the attention back on the main stage, where Lek began the next verse. As he sang, he began gesticulating toward the audience, pointing, and making signs at members of the audience. Sections of the crowd roared.

you're watching me, watching you do you what you're doin'
i got a theory about you and it's been proven

det zode sensikk min hele verden ikke att har dig [my whole world would be changed if i didn't have you]]
i min liv æste warme, att afforda sønnesein[in my life to be the warmth, to bring the sunshine]

This time Freddie stays to the right of the stage, panning left, and sings directly to a crowd of swooning girls in the front of the audience.

The world will hear these words
and the stars will all align

The spotlight illuminates, as a round of pyrotechnics ignite from the small stage, putting all eyes securely on Rand.

In my wildest dreams
i never thought
i would be hanging on your every word
We live for love,
It's all we've got,
Just know it's you and i against the world

any way, at any rate

In my wildest dreams
i never thought

i would be hanging on your every word
Hanging on your every word
Just know it's you and i against the world

The lighting drops again, and Rand leaves the shadows of the small stage to join his brothers on the large stage, where Lek is already performing the bridge.

maybe there's no easy explanation
for every word meant for you that i've been sayin'
into your ear, so only you can hear it
i just gotta know, know just what you're feeling

Rand comes to stand in front of his brothers. Blue and White lights cover the stage, sparkling.

In my wildest dreams
i never thought
i would be hanging on your every word
We live for love,
It's all we've got,
Just know it's you and i against the world

any way [any way ] at any rate [at any rate]

In my wildest dreams
i never thought
i would be hanging on your every word
hanging on your every word
oh yeah
you know i'm hanging on your every word

Lek sang a small part of the ending.

In my wildest dreams
i never thought
it would be you and i against the world

and the song came to a close.
yeah, yeah

hanging on your every word

In my wildest dreams
i never thought

All three boys looked up dreamily as the lights dimmed a bit, before returning to normal.

Rand: Thank you Sirushostan!

Jorgen was in the green room, hands clasped as Nielsen walked off stage. His journey was tumultuous, with a song change and various disagreements with BGBC and Jorgen, almost resulting in a withdrawal. But it was showtime; and as they arrived in Sirushostan, the song was under the radar. With a string of un-noteworthy results, there were high hopes that he could turn it around.

Normal- Jorgen
Blue-Backing singers

The performance started off with a slow, melancholic organ solo. During this, the stage was completely dark. The organ then snarled, hit a slightly off-key note, and the r&b beat came in. Lights began to flicker, slowly coming to a stop to illuminate the grey stage, showing Jorgen suspended horizontally mid-air in a position like so.

Words on pad and paper
Spurting from your cold, dead mouth
mean absolutely nothing
Oooh, oooh ooh.

Jorgen stayed in this position, this time the camera focousing solely on his eyes, slightly open but filled with unidentifiable but raw emotion.

Victim of an illusion
Falling down the rabbit hole
Can't climb out any further
Oooh, oooh ooh.

He was then rotated, so he was standing vertically. In the first and fourth lines, he pauses after every word, and a burst of light makes a flashing motion across his arms with every pause. He hangs his head a bit, occasionally tilting it up to look longingly at the camera.

What do I do
without your warm embrace,
your cold heart in its cage.
Where do I go
if you won't lead the way

The first lines of each verse is said fast, in a higher pitch with a gallop-like beat. The melody, however, is darker, deeper voiced and haunting.

And you don't really know how much you have done
You're pulling at my strings
Just like a puppeteer

Tie these chains to my limbs and
watch me fall at your feet
You're pulling at my strings
Just like a puppeteer

The ropes around his body suddenly dissapeared, but he was still in mid-air, although a bit closer to the stage floor now.

You flood my mind every minute
Unfortunately I can't swim
Drowning in your arms again
Oooh, ooh

Like before, the verses before the melody are said, with pauses in the first and fourth lines. However, after these, instead of hanging his head, he is spun around, only to be stopped in front of a boy, with a contemplative, longing and slightly reserved stare. When spun around again in the second verse, he sees , a girl with the same expression.

What do I do
if we can't fall in love
I'm lost, my heart is sold.
All your words were
just as pure as fool's gold.

The melody is repeated again, with the boy and girl doing an interpretive dance (lots of arm movements and body stretches/spins etc. to the rhythym) as Jorgen is slowly lowered onto the stage floor. By the third part of the melody, which is sung with more R&B styling a higher pitch/key, and the addition of strings, he is laying on a bed, his appearance as if he had a restless night.

And you don't really know how much you have done
You're pulling at my strings
Just like a puppeteer

Tie these chains to my limbs and
watch me fall at your feet
You're pulling at my strings
Just like a puppeteer

These scars
are here for a reason
Gained in battle
against my demons
But it's not your concern still
You're pulling at my strings
Just like a puppeteer

The opening beat from the start of the song comes back and ends the song. A hearty cheer comes from the audience, and Jorgen smiles a little and waves to the crowd.

El Largo Camino: Marta Gonzalez

Gathered on stage was Marta Gonzalez and her accompanying band of instrument players. There was only three of them, a man on a keyboard and two men on guitars, one on a standard electric bass guitar and the other on a cuatro, a smaller South American guitar-like instrument used in many folk songs in the region. Marta herself was dressed in a long sleeveless dress with black stockings, elbow-length gloves and matching high heels. This was the first time pasillo music was played at any major international singing competition, although not the first time South American folk music had been played (that honor lay with the bandolero band Los Reyes) before. She was excited and hopeful that her song would be just as successful here as Los Reyes were at WorldVision. Pasillo itself was a music genre that originated in the northern part of South America and was very popular in Costa Fiero and neighbouring northern nations. Costa Fieran pasillo differs according to individual villages as well as on a national level to other variations of the type as it is slow and melencholic. Song subjects are often about love, sadness or anything in between, as other types of folk music, such as bandolero and sanjuanito are more upbeat. Marta's song was not one of her own creation but a very famous local song that was first played in the mid 1850's, about the long walk a woman takes in finding love. It's considered the absolute best example of a Costa Fieran pasillo song. The song began to play and Marta stepped to the mirocphone to begin singing...

La noche oscura llega
Tibios luceros la iluminan
Desde los hogares
De un puro amor

Ay, si pudiera amarte, de esa misma forma
De ese mismo amor, yo pudiera darte
Sola no estaré
Por fin feliz seré…

El futuro no entiendo
Prefiero no tenerlo en cuenta
Pero en el largo camino
Ya me encontrarás

Quisiera compartir ese amor profundo
Ay, cuya ausencia me acompaña hasta hoy
Pero, ¿eso quieres tú?
Dime si lo quieres tú…

There was a pause in which the man on the keyboard played a small solo, followed by the cuatro and bass guitar players.

Quiero compartir este amor profundo
Que me hará feliz compañía hasta
Morir el sol
¿Y eso quieres tú?
Dime si lo quieres tú…

The dark night arrives
Warm lights illuminate it
Out from the homes
Of pure love

Oh, If I could love you, in that same way
And if of that same love, I could give you
Alone I won't be
I'll finally be happy…

The future, I don't understand
I'd rather not take it into account
But in the long walk
You'll surely find me

I'd like to share that deep love
Alas! Whose absence lives with me until today
But, is that what you want?
Tell me if that is what you want…

I want to share this deep love
That will happily make me no longer alone until
The moment when sun dies
And, is that what you want?

Tell me if that is what you want…

Fusha Me-Bar had decided to return to the competition, a new private broadcaster had stumped up some funds, and Argetim hoped that the seemingly revitalised competition would attract more viewers to their reasonably established channel. Samantha Hoxha was not extremely well known in Fusha Me-Bar, she had had some top 100 hits, but had never made much of an impression on the charts. This song was her best single to date, mainly due to the promotion associated with representing the nation at the World Hit Festival, and it had already peaked at number 11, before dropping to 14, and then 19, were it currently sat. A victory at the contest would probably prop it back up, but that seemed unlikely. What the broadcaster hoped to achieve was a better placing than the last time Fusha Me-Bar participated. The one time they competed, they achieved 11th place, with a ballad sung in Albanian.

Samantha was on the stage, dressed in this tight fitting jumpsuit. Around her, three male dancers were at her feet, all dressed the same (like Hannah Mancini's dancers at Eurovision). As the music starts, orange lights flash in time with music, Samantha moves her top half in time with music, as the dancers all grab onto her legs.

You can't buy
You can't buy my love
You can't buy
You can't buy my love (I do not sell love)
(No, I don't sell)

As the verse starts, she shrugs the dancers off and storms to the front of the stage, singing and looking fiercely, and seductively down the camera.

I'll take you to a, a secret place, a parking lot, a den of thieves
Although it's too late, I'll meet you there, no I don't care, I'll meet you there

The dancers then snake up to her and hold her body as she sings the next part.

But I sell illusions, this ain't love no, this ain't love
I won't give you pity, I won't judge you, no strings attached

The dancers then use their hands to pulsate off and on her body in time with the music, Samantha too moving in time.

You can't buy
You can't buy my love (No I don't sell my love)
You can't buy
You can't buy my love (I do not sell love)
(No, I don't sell)

As the chorus ends, she once again shakes the dancers off, and they fly off, like they've been the victim of a bombing or something. Samantha stands in the centre of the stage singing, and moving calmly to the music.

And in the darkness, no one will know, of what you've done, no numbers or names
And it may seem real, that is my job, but remember, my love is not for sale

You've got a lot to learn, I am not yours, I'll never be yours
One day, you'll realise, I'm the magician, creator of lies

She then swaggers to the front of the stage, and along the extended part, the dancers following, imitating her exaggerated, hip-hop style walk.

You can't buy
You can't buy my love (No I don't sell my love)
You can't buy
You can't buy my love (I do not sell love)
(No, I don't sell)

In the musical interlude, the dancers perform an elaborate routine intending to woo Samantha, to which she bats her eyelids and rejects.

You've got a lot to learn, I am not yours, I'll never be yours
One day, you'll realise, I'm the magician, creator of lies

You can't buy
You can't buy my love (No I don't sell my love)
You can't buy
You can't buy my love (I do not sell love)
(No, I don't sell)
You can't buy
You can't buy my love (No I don't sell my love)

She finishes the song by pumping her fist into the air, the dancers falling at her feet. She murmurs "Falemnderit" into the microphone and canters off the stage.

LifeIsAPoem is a group formed by Luara Avetisyan-Gomez and Sargis Idigaryan. They were internally selected by AHH to be the Artsakhiani entry for WHF13, performing a pop-rock ballad that was originally going to be the Artsakhiani entry for WorldVision 25.

This entry has no performance description because it's all very simple: she is singing, he is playing the bass, and the rest of the music just playing itself. This is one of my favourite tunes, and I wanted to write something more or less poetical with its melody as a backdrop. Imagine it a bit like Albania 2013's Eurovision (Rona Nishliu - "Suus") performance: a lot of smoke. An intelligent game with the lights of the stage... But most importantly, a very heartfelt song sung by an amazing voice; and the cameras just capture that almost undescribable emotion. OOC advice, read the lyrics with the lights off in a rainy/cold night, and listen to what the music itself has to say.

Yes zgats'i menak, menak e anverjut'yun (I felt alone, alone in the infinity)
Nman antaneli anhogut'yun menakut'yan (Such an unbearable lightness of loneliness)
Shat tsanr, k'ashë im p'khrun userin (A very heavy weight for my fragile shoulders)
Bayts' uzhë hents' patësparan yetevum (But the strength was just lurking behind)
Anhet'et'ut'yun, anvstahut'yan yev nvazum (Nonsense; a lack of confidence; and a diminished self-love)
Sirov, urakh em, vor durs yekav heto (I am glad it came out after all)

Mek knerek' kam (One <<sorry>> or)
Yerku parrkats barrerë (Two other lying words)
Da bavarar ch'e (Those are not enough)
Buzhel e marats'vats vogin (To heal a crushed spirit)
Yes gitem vor (I know that)
Vorpeszi sharzhvel (In order to move on)
Yes petk'e bardzranal heto, ktsu krkin p'oshin (I need to stand up after biting the dust again)

Luysë verjum, yerkar t'uneli kyank'i (The light at the end of the long tunnel of life)
Miak mnats'ats huysë heto p'ot'orkin (The only remaining hope after the storm)
Ach'k'ers bats'el, dzer dazhan irakanut'yanë (My eyes opened, revealing your cruel reality)
Bayts' im mitk'ë bats'vi, nor hnaravorut'yunneri (But my mind opened too, to new possibilities)
Im hajoghut'yunë shat darrë yev k'aghts'r (How bittersweet is my success)
Ch'em uzum korts'nel, k'ez yetevum yes petk'e (I don't want to lose you behind even when I must)

Mek knerek' kam (One <<sorry>> or)
Yerku parrkats barrerë (Two other lying words)
Da bavarar ch'e (Those are not enough)
Buzhel e marats'vats vogin (To heal a crushed spirit)
Yes gitem vor (I know that)
Vorpeszi sharzhvel (In order to move on)
Yes petk'e dimel alkoholi, inch'pes naev verk'eri (I need to apply alcohol to the wounds)

Yes ch'em uzum gnal vazum depi dzez (I don't want to go running towards you)
Ts'ankanum em dadarets'nel gorrum dzer anunë… (I want to stop screaming for your name…)

Interval

Yes gitem vor (I know that)
Vorpeszi sharzhvel (In order to move on)
Yes petk' e merrnel, yev veratsnvets' (I need to die, and be born again)

Da bavarar ch'e… (It is not enough…)

Interval

Ես գիտեմ, որ
Որպեսզի շարժվել
Ես պետք է մեռնել, եւ վերածնվեց

Դա բավարար չե…
