Right now we have Chinese Regions, who have been participating many, many times.
Maybe tonight is the night for them, and for RockRyuJin *RockRyuJin appears on the greenroom waving his hood in the air yelling "CHINESE REGIONS!"*.... Who might get too excited if he won. Anyway, let's hear the beats of the CHINESE DRUM TOWERS!

Image

Chinese Regions

Image

Dá... How, it looks so beautiful *happy tears are released from her eyes*. What?... Oh, yeah, the votes!
Hmmm... here we have Shān Hào-Xuān calling from Běijīng, in front of the ZHTV tower!

Image

Hello everybody! This is Běijīng calling with our results....

1 point goes to Albertasby, "Live And Learn" by Adrianna Whispin
2 points go to The Kiaser Colonies, "Reply" by Hamish Lee
3 points go to Folkandia, or Saintrabina... whatever, you got it.... "Walkiria (Valkyrie)" by Cezar Boree
4 points go to Eternal Heroes... Oh wait, that's the name of the song. Well, the 4 points go to Anglo-Britannia!
And finally, 5 points go to Reythan, "Illuminatus IV" by Fifth Focus!

Image

That pushes Folkand 3 points closer to the first position! Now we have a couple of countries appreciated by many Euskals and Artsakhianis. Let's go to Gaituzstha and Phoenigetuzstha!

A land where not one language is spoken.. Not even two... THREE languages!.. Let's say hi to a land that blends Kyrgyz, Armenian *audience cheers excited* and Ukrainian influences. Hello Gaituzstha!

Image

Gaituzstha

Image

The Gaituzsthan Bedug is leading us tonight through a land where Qyjhyrs fly all over. We have to say Salam to Leyla Polshka! She's calling us from Shaaltin, the Gaituzsthan capital. Did you know that "Shaaltin" means 'City of Gold' in Kyrgyz? No? (Me neither) Anyway, she's in front of the At-žügür ër, another Kyrgyz phrase which means 'Horse Race of the Saddle'. But I'm speaking too much... Salam Gaituzstha!

Image

Salam Harrikes! Nemeng uluu kechë!
Now here are the results from Gaituzstha:

1 point goes to... Ceaurea!
2 points go to... Euskirribakondara!
3 points go to... Folkand!!
4 points go to... Our lovely friends Artsakhestan!!! *audience cheers a lot*
5 points go to... Our amazing forefathers, PHOENIGETUZSTHA!!! *audience cheers moderately*

Raxmat Harrikes!

Image

And Phoenigetuzstha arrives to the top 3. Folkand now with 23 points, and Euskirribakondara still leading, but now with 25 points!
*audience goes crazy*

Many Phoenigetuzsthans live here! *audience cheers excited* But right now we'll announce the votes of those who live in Phoenigetuzstha.... Let the Darbuka guide us there!

Image

Phoenigetuzstha

Image

This image proves Phoenigetuzsthans are not shallow. Jamâl-ud-dâkhili has an equivalent in Euskal, it is Euskorbana. Unique words. Well, Arthuria, who we haven't seen here in WHF, we should one day... Is calling us from the Tagghawa Mawhid of Laodicaea. Eser B'ikah Arthuria!

Image

Eser B'ikah Bizi! Ganit Balen Harrikes! Thank you for the amazing show! We wish all the contestants the best of luck, and we want to say, well done Daria, you did a great job. Now, here are the Phoenigetz votes...

1 point goes to... One of the new guys... Azərşuradə! *audience cheers*
2 points go to... The amazing hosts... Euskirribakondara!!!!!!!!! *audience goes wild*
3 points go to... L'incroyable... Valcluse!
4 points go to... Our amazing beautiful friends in Crolacia!!
5 points go to... Have a guess!? It's Dariya Emrazian! Our amazing cousins in Gaituzstha!!

Thank you Harrikes, bit-tawfîq al-kull!

Image

Euskirribakondara earns more points, and it leads with 27!
*audience goes crazy*

We have to move on now to another débuting nation. They are Testian friends...... Giligan!
With the beat of their Giliganic Tiny Drum!

Image

Giligan

Image

It's sad, but only 20 people, all of them old, speak Giliganic nowadays. This is a hommage to that dying part of Giliganic culture. Lucia Cruz is in front of the Two Paths Palace of the Giligan Royal Family, located in Lysander, the Giliganic capital. But I know another word in Giliganic... It is "Posed Fornigt" or 'Good evening'!

Image

Good Evening and a Posed Fornigt to all the people out there from Giligan, we hope you're enjoying the show!

1 point: Chenkorya
2 points: Chinese Regions
3 points: Eeri
4 points: Cearuea
5 points: Motokata!

Image

Those votes leave the top 3 unchanged!

We have another voting problem now. In Eeri, WOLF Broadcasting had some problems with the voting and they had to stick with the jury voting, and they'll have no spokesperson. So let's go to the system, showing now the Eeri's votes...

Eeri

Image

Let's read them quickly...

1 point goes to Euskirribakondara! *audience cheers excited*
2 points go to Belikovia! *audience cheers excited*
3 points go to Folkand!
4 points go to Artsakhestan! *audience goes very wild again*
5 points go to Phoenigetuzstha!

Image

This is getting closer to an end! And the top 3 is between Euskirribakondara, Folkand and Phoenigetuzstha... 28, 26 and 25 points!
*crazy cheers around the Harrikes Bay Convention Center*

Closing the third part of the voting, we have MEDITERRA!!! The runner-ups of the last edition, but it seems this time they won't arrive that far. Nonetheless, "En Dröm Magikal" was very appreciated here in the Harrikes Bay Convention Centre. The Kendanka Drum, from the region of Sëkar, is ready to beat right now...

Image

Mediterra

Image

Familija: very important in Mediterra and here in Euskirribakondara. Here we have Sasha Whiner, the stage name for Sasia Ankuruma, who will represent Mediterra in WorldVision! Although technically not part of the capital, Archaeopoli, which used to be an Ancient Greek city, now in ruins, is located on a mountain that overlooks Monterra, the capital and biggest city in Mediterra. And that's where she'll announce the votes from.. Gamagrib!

Image

Habari Joni Bizi Andargorrekoetxea! Good evening everyone! Ganit Balen Harrikes, önt Gamagrib it allë orkhën Mediterranika!
Before we begin, on behalf of Mediterra, I'd like to wish the best of luck to all the participants.
Now here are the Mediterran votes, are you ready?

So, we give one point to... Waltacy! Krolasija! Crolacia!
And two points are for... Artsakhestan! Artsachëstanija!

Okay, now for the big three.

Three points... go to... Oh, before that, we'd like to say Buonanotte to our friends in Chenkorië! Cengkorija! Chenkorya!
Four points... I really wish the best for Anna Petranova from Polkopija! Yes, Polkopia!
And finally, five points... just like Anna, your singing was splendid! We, the Republic of Mediterra, hereby award five points to Dariya Emrazian of Gaitusta! Gaituzstha!

Congratulations! Now goodbye! See you at the 9th World Hit Festival and at WorldVision 22!

The top 3 is still unchanged with three votes to go... Where will we go now?

TOP 5 RECAP

5th Place - 15 Points
Artsakhestan
Aysel Tsivishnili (Այսել Ծիվիշնիլի) - "Ահա Թե Ինչպես Են" (This Is How; Aha Te Inch'pes Yen)

*Huge cheers from the audience*

Aysel Tsivishnili always combines her vocal skills with a great show on-stage and a heart-warming charisma; and that was what she'd use tonight. As the second-to-last act, she felt she had to deliver an impressive act to close the contest. She was dressed in a silver dress that would look shining white with the spotlights on her. Her backing singers were dressed in a silver dress with black flowers. Around the stage floor, there were fake trees (something close to this, but with leaves), that would be illuminated according to the part of the song. The special trapdoor zone was totally free, and the orchestra pit wasn't full, it had a portion of the orchestra, complemented by some dudukaharë (duduk players), as they'd perform some solos throughout the song.

TUNE (2.01 - 2.21)

Aysel now looked very happy. She revealed that through her singing, and her smiling, and the fact that she was waving her arms inviting everyone to "watch and learn". The backing singers pointed at her as she sang this sentence. The sing-along continued, and the forest looked very colourful as well. The pole now had clouds on it.

Elaki. Ni got izan (Need. I am strong)

The chorus kicked in again. The dudukaharë stood up and moved towards the floating platforms, and the backing singers started to emulate Aysel's gestures as she sang the chorus. The cameras were very focused on how she moved her whole body, and how she pointed at herself. The lyrics were working just as well as her attitude... She was very confident and happy.

Aha t'e inch'pes yen; yes haskats'a (This is how; I have realized)
Sa t'e inch'pes yem, dzerrk' kberen yet im uzh (This is how I will gain back my strength)
Aha t'e inch'pes yen; yes tesnum yem da, im partakanut'yunn e (This is how; I can see, it's my responsability)
Yes hava... (I will belie...)

4th Place - 22 Points
Chenkorya
Mademoiselle - "Buonanotte" (Good Night)

*Huge cheers from the audience*

Mademoiselle was the most discussed entrant of WHF this edition. Not only because she was one of the favorites for victory according to some betting sites, but also because she was just weird and controversial. She wasn't a diva, she was probably one of the most warm and spontaneous people in the competition, but she loved to dress herself kind of weird. Anyway, Mademoiselle had really enjoyed her time in Harrikes. Only a few people were allowed to watch her rehearsals, because they wanted to surprise all the viewers with the biggest show ever seen on World Hit festival. 150 dancers from more than 20 countries were joining her on stage, and she thought it would be a record. They had practized the act so much, that Mademoiselle and all the dancers were sure it would all become allright. All lights went down when the huge crowd walked up the stage, since they wanted to keep everything as a surprise for the crowd.

Mademoiselle was standing on the front platform, looking like this (without the blue hair, but with blond and curly hair). Everything on the stage was black, all stages, all stairs, everything, but all dancers and Mademoiselle herself could be seen though, so probably spotlight were focussed at them. When the song started, the spider cams made a close up of Mademoiselle's face. A very bright spotlight was focussed on her, she was in the middle of the attention, the dancers had less bright spotlights.

TUNE (2.46 - 3.06)

The flames became the huge flames again, and Mademoiselle and the other girls were now standing between the flames, which was quite a risky thing to do, but it did look amazing on the cameras though. The music became louder again, and so did Mademoiselle's voice; it became more dramatic. All the 150 girls sang along too very softly, even so many voices weren't enough to make Mademoiselle's voice unrecognizable. Mademoiselle sang the Italian parts very passionate. The cameras made a shot of the orchestra, who stopped playing at exactly that moment. Immediately they went back to the huge, main stage again, to make shots of Mademoiselle and the huge group of dancers on stage. Together they sang the following part, so Mademoiselle together with the 150 girls, it did sound AMAZING! Amazingly powerful, it just gave goosebumps, especially if you were Chenkoryan. During the next part of the song, she walked back to the main stage.

Così triste, così deserta e solitaria (So sad, so desolate and lonely)
Quindi, Dio, questa è la mia vida? (So, God, this is my life?)

Ahahahaha, ahahahaha, no “buonanotte”

3rd Place - 25 Points
Phoenigetuzstha
Daria Sasa - "Tonight Might Just Be The Start"

*Large cheers from the audience*

The stage is dark, and there is very little light in the audience too. As the music starts, pulses of light flow from the stage before disappearing, still meaning that Daria is unseen. When the up-tempo parts start the stage immediately bursts into life, the flames at the side dancing and the stage is filled with golden lights. The stage beneath her feet is filled with a turquoise-blue colour, while the steps and moving panels are golden. The tower is portraying the image of a flame. Daria is wearing this while her backing dancers are wearing this.

There are four dancers two either side of Daria as the music starts and Daria is seen to be standing on the raised platform at the back of the stage. She begins dancing to the music, her backing dancers joining in unison. As she starts the first verse she begins to walk to the front platform, they walk around the outside however as there is a large shallow container full of water on the centre of the stage.

Walking back to the dancers, they all get in the pool and begin dancing a lot more with their feet, kicking the water up as Daria sings, she too is doing the same thing. The men in the crowd seem to be enjoying this display. She begins to dance more vigorously, and two male dancers dressed like the God Marqod, or to put it more specifically, sparsely clothed, with little more than some woven cloth covering their waist to their lower thighs. A huge scream from the audience is heard, from the girls after seeing these men. They take up position closer to Daria and begin doing a separate dance to the girl backing dancers. Daria herself is just standing still, working on her vocals more than anything.

TUNE (1.12 - 1.32)

...asela der hal hader, bedwen tewqef akenewen (On the home stretch now, no stopping)

Why don’t you come on over, we are blasting off tonight
Marqod is dancing on my shoulder, weaving his spellellellellells

We don’t have to be apararart
You just need to open up your heareareart

2nd Place - 28 Points
Euskirribakondara
Donostia - "Eqeersarneq" (Awakening)

*Amazingly huge cheers from the audience*

The whole stage was totally dark. They were dressed like this (the only one missing is the drummer, but he's dressed in a similar pattern). The dress of Amaia, the vocalist (seen better here, here and here) changes of colour as the song progresses.

The orchestra of Harrikes (with all its 88 members) was on the orchestra pit. And the backing vocalists (all of them, women dressed in large white dresses (a combination between this one and this one)); are in the special trapdoor zone on top of something we cannot see yet. And the floor of the stage was totally submerged in smoke. The lights (white) begin to turn on, and the background/floor/screens are in grey. We can now see that the backing singers are on top of big icebergs (like these ones, for example) evocating the Greenlandic influences on the song, and the cold start to the song. On the catwalk that connects the front platform to the main platform, there are hidden treadmills; and on the pole, there's the image of a sun (currently on the highest point of the pole and it will be descending as the song is performed), whilst its top is releasing misty smoke.

TUNE (1.57 - 2.17)

At this point the lights changed in order to make it look as "the other world". The colours used were very 1960s'; and for the two last sentences, panoramic shots were made again showing how the smoke was revolving, thanks to wind machines. A not-so-powerful wind machine was also over Amaia as she sang.

Tarniajorinngorpoq (The soul cannot get back its former shape)
Allanaraa allaavoq… (As it feels something unusual about itself and is different from the others)

By this time, Amaia had reached the front platform, and she kneeled as she sang "inch'pes" from the very deep of her stomach, making it sound graspy powerful. The spider cam showed how she sang, still kneeled, and all the images that were being formed in the roof, thanks to the light. Another shot showed how the sun in the pole was already beginning to disappear in the "horizon". The lights were fading into a red-ish pattern, in order to make us feel and see the sunset. Again, the band was showed playing.
Ինչպես/Inch'pes (How...)
Ամեն ինչ արեց փոխել?/Amen inch' arets’ p’okhel? (Did everything change?)
Kinomo raren ta bizren balo almatupeka? (How did, the value of human beings and of life, change?)
Kinomo euski dak… (How did the sun change…).

1st Place - 31 Points
Folkand
Cezar Boree - "Walkiria" (Valkyrie)

*Large cheers from the audience*

3 violinists are wearing white dresses like this. They are playing their violins in the back of the scene. The white light is outshining them during their emotional intro. The atmosphere is really magical because of traditional-stylized Folkandish melody. Then Cezar Boree is emerging from the dark wearing white suit with red elements like this. The the music becomes more dynamic. The light is changing into red and 2 female dancers are coming wearing this but with long red capes. They symbolize valkyries. Their dance is energetic but emotional. Audience can hear the drums then. Cezar is singing the refrain (The dancers are falling down on the floor during the last sentence):

W ręku trzyma miecz (She holds the sword in her hand)
Oczy kieruje w górę (Directs her eyes upwards)
Niech odejdzie precz (Let her go away)
Wybiera swe ofiary (She chooses her victims)
Niczym leśny zwierz (Like the forest animal)
Wysyła pełnych wiary (She sends men full of faith)
Pod niebiański biały pierz (Under the white heavenly wash)
Gdy piasek z mej klepsydry (When the sand from my hourglass)
Wysypie się tu (Scatters here)
Skonam w rękach Walkirii (I will die in Valkyrie's arms)
Stoczywszy z nią bój (Having fought with her)

Haritz appears in the greenroom with the artists. "Well, I've already asked them to give a message, and I also asked what they'd do if they won. Now, let's talk about their experience in Euskirribakondara!"...

Aysel Tsivishnili from Artsakhestan
Wow, that's a very difficult question. I've lived in Kilikia all my life, and that's a few miles away. I've always liked Harrikes but I must admit my best moment here was that circle dance we did at the Rail Station. 300 people dancing with me just shows the hospitality in here!

Mademoiselle from Chenkorya
I just loved being back home... You can't imagine how much! It was all so amazing! Specially all those moments with the other artists. I laughed a lot doing the 'Speak Like an Euskirribakondaran'; and when we were going around Harrikes... So many special moments. Ni zuha maitesu Euskirribakondara! *huge cheers from the audience*

Daria Sasa from Phoenigetuzstha
If I had to choose one special moment, it would be my performance tonight. When the sixth act, myself, was on stage, everything was just so perfect. I felt all the good vibe from the crowd, and it was like a moment of realization. It was... INCREDIBLE

Donostia from Euskirribakondara
Haritz: Well, in this case we'd have to ask... What was the best moment of the WHF weeks?
Amaia: Hahahah, I'll never forget Alja's comment on meat... It was such a terrific moment. But what we'll remember forever was the endless times everyone thanked us, EUSK1, and the whole nation for their stay. That is priceless.

Cezar Boree from Folkand
I seriously don't know what was the best. Everything was excellent here, thanks a MILLION!

With just one vote left... I think it would be very interesting to watch our scoreboard now...

Image

Four nations still competing for the five place... FOUR!
If Phoenigetuzstha gets four points and the other nations do not... Phoenigetuzstha wins!
If Artsakhestan, Chenkorya, Folkand or Euskirribakondara get the 5 points... That nation wins!
And if no votes are cast for the current top 5... Euskirribakondara wins!!!!!

Haritz: Oh god... We have four nations with the same points. And even Phoenigetuzstha could win.. That means FIVE nations ca win tonight. And there is just one vote left.

Haritz walks through the greenroom and the camera follows him. First, it's Cezar Boree with his Valkyries appearing with Folkandish flags and Saintrabinian flags. The Valkyries make a "grrrrg" gesture to the camera, and they shout "FOLKAND!". Haritz then exchanges some words with Cezar Boree....
- Is it tonight's night the Folkandish first win?
- *nervous* I don't know... But I'm going to die here if you don't announce the last vote *nervous laugh*

Then Haritz goes to the Phoenigetuzsthan greenroom... Everyone is more calm, and Daria Sasa, holding a Phoenigetuzsthan flag says "Thank you" to the camera and sends kisses.

Then, Haritz arrives to the Chenkoryan greenroom... There's a huge crowd there, Mademoiselle is with her mother by her side, and they hold a Chenkoryan and an Euskirribakondaran flag. Everyone's very exciting and smiling from ear to ear..
- Hi Mademoiselle.... Do you think you can win? Do you want it?
- I don't know... What do Harrikes want?
*crowd goes insanely crazy*
- I think they would love that just as I do...... GO CHENKORYYYYYYYAAAAAAAA!

The cheers continue and Haritz gets to the Euskal greenroom, very close to the Chenkoryan one. They are also holding Euskirribakondaran flags, and now, each one of the members hold: a Folkandish, a Phoenigetuzsthan, a Chenkoryan, an Artsakhiani and an Euskal flag. They say...
- We still know we won't win... So we're supporting the other four acts that can win. We'd love to see each one of them winning... It's just so exciting!

Finally Haritz gets to the Artsakhiani greenroom. Aysel Tsivishnili hugs Haritz and shouts "ARTSAKHESTAN!", all the staff with her waves Artsakhiani flags and yell "ARTSAKHESTAN!" as well...
- Well, how do you feel right now?
- I'm just amazed. This, no matter what happens, is already the best placing ever for Artsakhestan, a top 4. I'm just so thankful.... But I still want to know how everything turns out, so please, Bizi, PLEASE announce the last vote

Haritz ends saying "Do you see Bizi? They need the results now!!! Let's go with the Inkartsch voting!"

Bizi: So, we have a tie for the first place... A four-way tie.
Haritz: But it turns out, Inkarzikan, just like Ceaurea and Eeri had some connection and voting problems.
Bizi: We have to announce them here, and the system will announce each point in a determinate ammount of time.
Haritz: Therefore, we are just as excited as you guys are!

Bizi: Let's go. The first Inkartsch vote.. Is the ONE point.
Haritz: And it goes to....

Phoenigetuzstha

Bizi: Therefore, Phoenigetuzstha finishes on 29 points. So far, a 5th position.
Haritz: Congratulations, Daria Sasa!
Bizi: And who do you want to see for the two points?

The crowd yells out many names. The most prominent are "Cezar Boree" and "Aysel Tsivishnili"

Bizi: Well, the TWO points go to....

Artsakhestan

Haritz: Artsakhestan finishes on 33 points. That's currently the first position... But the worst you can get so far is 4th position.... That's the best for Artsakhestan so far!
Aysel Tsivishnili: Yes! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! SHNORHAKALUT'YUN!!!!!!!!!!! I loved this! Thanks a million!

Bizi: So... Time to continue. Who will get the THREE points? Let's make a brief recap of who's in the top 5 now...
1° Artsakhestan with 33 points
2° Euskirribakondara with 31 points (More votes and more 5-pts)
3° Folkand with 31 points (More votes)
4° Chenkorya with 31 points
5° Phoenigetuzstha with 29 points

Bizi: Let's continue! It is now time for the THREE points.
Haritz: And they go to.....

Folkand

Bizi: Congratulations Cezar! Folkand ends the 8th World Hit Festival with 34 points! Let's check out the scoreboard...
1° Folkand with 34 points
2° Artsakhestan with 33 points
3° Euskirribakondara with 31 points (More votes)
4° Chenkorya with 31 points
5° Phoenigetuzstha with 29 points

Haritz: That means that if we do not mention nor Euskirribakondara nor Chenkorya, Folkand would be the winner of tonight.
Bizi: Who do you guys want for the four points?

The crowd shouts Euskirribakondara, Chenkorya, Mediterra and The Kiaser Colonies!

Bizi: Well... The four points are going to...

Euskirribakondara

Haritz: Euskirribakondara finishes with 35 points!

The crowd shouts very excited and now shouts "Mademoiselle" (Just like the Azerbaijanis shouted "Turkey" on Eurovision)

Haritz: Well, the five points are going to...

Chenkorya

Bizi: With 36 points... MADEMOISELLE wins the 8th World Hit Festival!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crowd cheers just as when Totó won WHHF7

PLACEHOLDER FOR THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN HOSTS AND MADEMOISELLE.
TOTÓ GIVES MADEMOISELLE THE WHF TROPHY.

After this post should go the winning song reprise. (Chenk, you said it would have Euskal and Aranese! That's why I posted the Euskal edit of Buonanotte... I know I can trust you :p)
