The footsteps of guardsmen echoed around the large corridors of the People's Palace as the buildings expertly rushed to the source of the piercing scream that had so violently disturbed the once calm aura surrounding the building, as the guards drew closer to the noise they were shocked to discover that the noise was emanating from the Emperor's personal chambers pausing briefly at the door the drew their weapons and entered the room to witness one of the Emperor's personal servants leaning over what appeared to be the Emperor's body. Turning around one of the guards pushed past the still body of his shocked comrade and activated the silent alarm before picking up his radio.
"I need a medic in here now! We have an issue with the Emperor" the Guard shouted although he was calm and professional on the outside he was still in shock. The Emperor was not a mere mortal so surely such trivial matters like death would not matter to him, his comrade was thinking the same thing alongside him and both stood in shock until the presence of the Emperor's personal doctor entering the room shocked them back into reality.
The doctor himself was a rather pudgy man having lived and been the personal doctor of both Emperor's he had a wealth of experience and had lived the life of extreme luxury something which was quite evident considering the mans physique, a man that had clearly been excused from the daily forced exercise regime that sought to expect that every single citizen in the country would be fit enough to serve in the military if crisis arose.
"Oh it's happened" Doctor Jones said calmly, the guards beside him looking onwards in pure shock.
"What do you mean it's happened?" One of the guards shouted angrily confused as to why the doctor was not shocked having clearly recovered from his brief lack of comprehension.
"The life essence has been drained from the Emperor. I'll explain it to you in simple terms. You do understand that the Emperor is not a mere mortal? That the Emperor has certain gifts that make him the only being that can lead this great nation to glory? Well the Emperor knows what is best for the nation and has decided to join his father and mother in the Chamber of Elders so they he can watch over things indirectly instead of directly. Go directly to Kate's room and inform her to meet me in the Emperor's study" The doctor told the guards.
As the doctor was informing Kate Westinghouse about the death of her father, the Czechoslovak Foreign Ministry was composing an extremely short message to the countries of the international community.

It is with extreme sadness that the Czechoslovak Foreign Ministry has to report that the beloved leader and god among men Emperor James Westinghouse has been declared dead. The Emperor shall be replaced by his 19 year old Daughter Kate Westinghouse who shall officially become Emperor after the Emperor's funeral.
We wish that the international community respect the wishes of the Czechoslovak Government and it's citizenry including those currently living abroad to undertake a national week of mourning to respect their esteemed and beloved leader

Eugen Suchon strode towards the central newsdesk of the Czechoslovak state media, sitting down at the desk he proudly received his papers informing him at the events dictated by the Ministry of Information, as he looked onwards at the shocked and distraught reaction of the staff around him a wave of confusion swept over him however when looking down on what information the papers contained a sudden coldness tour through his body however he was a professional and the shaking voice of the stage manager calling him on shock him out of his daze.
"My fellow Czechoslovak's today I bring you news that shall shake the very core of your soul. Today at 5:30am in the People's Palace the beloved and almighty Emperor James Westinghouse was discovered dead" Eugen forced out a few stray tears passing down his cheeks as he struggled to keep his emotions under control.
"One of his loyal servants discovered the fact when she came in to help the Emperor with his morning routine. The Emperor always rising extremely early and resting late due to the extreme care he took of the nation and every single one of it's citizens. Upon news of one of the most tragic events in our nations history Kate Westinghouse the Emperor's 19 year old daughter was placed in charge, an official ceremony shall take place at a latter date after the funeral of the beloved leader. One of Kate's first noble actions was to announce an official week of mourning.
Although Kate Westinghouse is extremely young she has been taught at the most prestigious educational facilities in the entire country by the most learned and esteemed professors and she has studied the political workings of the founder of this great nation Edvard Westinghouse, she has the full support of the military who pledged their utter and complete devotion and loyalty to her after the Emperor's death was announced to them including the pledge that every single soldier would lay down their life for the new Empress. Parliament also declared their loyalty to the Emperor expanding the blood loyalty pact to include the newly appointed Empress. During a minor state address to the 1,4000 politicians of the chamber and 20,000 assembled military personal she pledged to lead the nation calmly and steadily into a new age of scientific discovery and expansion, her speech was met with a standing ovation and much jubilation a further sign that the Empress is indeed a goddess above us mere pathetic mortals
