Message from the Threlizdunian National Organization of Diplomacy
With the summit in Whairitia having to be ended due to conflict and governmental change, numerous issues had remained unresolved. As such, we, the people of Threlizdun, have issued a welcome to all members and observers of the Alliance of Democratic Socialists to attend a new summit held within the halls of the Sil Patterhans' Courthouse located in Thyzren, Threlizdun. Please feel free to arrive at your leisure, though we do wish to procede with relative haste in order to continue discussing the current topics on hand. We look forward to seeing you shortly.
Within Sil Patterhans' Courthouse, workers had just finished the final preparations of the meeting facility. Tables had been arranged for all that were expected to attend, with the respective flags of the nations resting upon the polished chestnut surfaces. Five diplomats sat awaiting the arrival of the others. With the meeting occuring within Threlizdun, the relaying of decisions made by the populace should be able to occur at a much quicker pace. Lars Mohren and Syuzanna Isyanov both had attended the previous meeting, and had grown accustomed to the delegations. Of the three others, Mark Weltingham had most of his experiance dealing with liberal capitalist societies, though was quite interested in offering his aid in dealing with negotiations between members of this alliance. Ailsa Villumsen was older than most diplomats in Threlizdun, an ex-congresswoman, had adapted well to diplomacy, and was feeling rather confident about this meeting. For Matt Phelpman, the final individual, this was his first task. He was terribly nervous, though prepared to do his duty.
Everyone was hoping that the final questions concerning the operation to construct and maintain a station to broadcast messages of freedom and democracy to Hippostania could be answered, as well as to the concerns over whether or not any other actions should be caried out to deal with them. Then the matters on how to respond to other threats to freedom, equality, and peace, as well as prospective agreements with other alliances and the structure of the charter. With all the matters at hand to discuss, everyone was hoping the foreign representatives would arrive soon.
