The WHF9 Stage!

Overview
Image
It's a forget-me-not shaped stage, with the same winding edges as the flag. Its configuration matches the down-to-earth style that the CBU wants to project in its hosting of WHF9; but still has the common flavour of WHF stages: complex yet simple shapes to make the performances more remarkable than ever. The design was made by the CBU itself, whilst the set up of the stage was done by EUSketch, responsible for the stages of WHF since WHF7; and overseer of the stages since WHF6.

It was inspired in various elements, as well as the Chenkoryan flag of course, and the warmth of the inhabitants of Stephani. Read and check out the next photos to get a better idea of this, the first of many surprises prepared for you.

Main Cameras
There will be four main cameras, from the roof, and the front/right/left sides. Bear in mind that the audience is also seating in the front/right/left sides; the only part without attendants will be the back side, which acts as green rooms and other facilities; and covered by a temporary wall that can be observed in the pictures.

Front-side Camera

Right-side Camera

As you may have noticed already, in the basic configuration, the stage's orientation is to the southwest side (if south is the front side), as seen in the following image:
Image

Central Stage
Image
In the heart of it, there's a small lake, it's always there. It can turn into a fountain, there can also be a huge flame; according to the needs of each performance, and you can also decide not to use it. On each petal, there is a lift which can move people and things up and down, also from beneath the stage. The stage has a white edge, with a lot of small spotlights/laser lights, which can give very cool light effects.

Image
Its entrance is located in the southwest side, on a single set of stairs. The default image of the stage is taken from here; since you can look at the screen and the fountain in the back, all in once.

Screen
Image
As you've seen already, the screen is like nothing you've seen before due to its unusual shape. Nonetheless, it is even more than that. Its thin material allows us to move it on rails around the central stage (the petals). 3D mapping techniques are also available in the screens; and you'll evidence that when the postcards and the scoreboards are projected here.

Catwalks
Image
The stairs which act as entrance to the central stage come from two catwalks, one at the left, and one at the right. The catwalks can be colour-customizable for every performance as well. This image shows the left one, which goes all around the central stage to the entrance proper, and to the end stage.

Image
The right catwalk is quite small compared to the rest of the stage, but it has a kind of spiral at the end, with another lift (like the 5 in the petals) in it. Maybe the hosts will direct the show from here.... Or your fire-eater can stand here in his performance.

Entrance
Image
The entrance of the stage is made from the "northeast" side of the stage. Usually, it is covered by the screen in its normal configuration. But all the artists will rush in when it's their turn to perform... So stay close to this side if you want close pictures of them. Maybe some of them will sign autographs! It's up to them, anyway.

End Stage
Image
The left and long catwalk eventually leads here. It has HUGE spotlights on it. You can stand on them, they can have different colours, and that gives very amazing effects when you see it on TV. Mademoiselle must love this part of the stage, maybe she'll use it for the winning-song reprise.

Fire Islands
Image
The last thing are the fire islands... These are little "islands" where you can't stand, they are only there to have HUGE flames on them, if you want so. Some broadcasters may request pyros or smoke coming out of them. However, this action depends on the CBU's choice.

Artsakhestan selected with Yergi P'arratonë

Image
Logo of Yergi P'arratonë

Despite rumours that the Artsakhiani format of selection for WHF9 would change since many established artists announced their desire to represent Artsakhestan, AHH: Արծախիանի Հանրային Հեռուստաընկերություն (Artsakhiani Hanrayin Herrustaynkerut’yun, Public Television of Artsakhestan), the broadcaster responsible for the Artsakhiani participation in both WHF and Worldvision, hosted the comeback of the Yergi P'arratonë (Song Festival). Its third edition featured 2 Heats with 10 acts each, and the 2 winners of each heat qualified to the final. Several auditions were held throughout the country and the 20 semifinalists had been announced already announced on their webpage.

On the heats, the artists will sing a Eurovision-song on Monday, a WHF-song on Tuesday, an Artsakhiani song on Wednesday, an English-language song on Thursday, and a free-themed song on Friday. Throughout each heat (a week) the public votes on the best artist, and on each heat there is one winner. The final as said before, featured 4 performing acts; and the language of the song has already been determinated to be Armenian. Many have heard the song and as it was composed for a female vocalist, this edition of Yergi P'arratonë will just feature female soloists.

The participants and winners of each heat were:
HEAT 1
Ada Sarafian
Dalita
Manushag Tankian
Nanar Belekdanian
Patil Manvelian
Rona Ter-Dovlatyan
Sevana Trdatyan
Shimi
Yeraz Zakoyan
Ziazan Lylozian

HEAT 2
Aregak Saroyan
Arevik Kocharian
Elnaz Atanosian
Karine Gevorgyan
Lilit Tjeknavorian
Lilit Ziririan
Narine Hasmanyan
Nvart Chakmakian
Parkouhi Bancayan
Sofi Shahumyan

Therefore, in the final we saw the performances of:
* Narine Hasmanyan
* Rona Ter-Dovlatyan
* Shimi
* Sofi Shahumyan

In the final, each one of the 4 finalists sang "Բարեւ Արեւ" (Barev Arev), an Armenian pop song composed by Sargis Der-Hovagimian with lyrics by Sirusho Shahgeldyan and Sofi Shahumyan (winner of WV20, 4th place in WV21). After tough deliberation, the televoting and the juries announced that the super-finalists would be...

Sofi Shahumyan & Shimi

Each one of them performed the song again, plus a free chosen one. Sofi performed "Yes Gitem", the song with which she won WV20. Shimi performed "Aragatsi Kaghak", an Artsakhiani folk song. After a new round of voting it was announced that;

- As the second place, Shimi would be an automatic qualifier for the final of Yergi P'arratonë 4.
- As the winner, Sofi Shahumyan would represent Artsakhestan in the 9th World Hit Festival.

Will Sofi become the first person to win both WV and WHF?

Samira and Jan Ardegorrián claim Euskirribakondara's third victory!

Image
The winners of WHF9

In the exciting night of August 10, in the StephaPhone Arena of Stephani, Euskirribakondara made history by claiming a third victory in the World Hit Festival, reaffirming their reputation as a power in the contest, like other veterans. 27 songs were performed, which is the record for WHF, in a magnificent stage designed by the famous Chenkoryan Lárisse Bartelds, and built by the Euskal company EUSketch; inside the 24,000 seats venue. The bets this time were everchanging, as the talent displayed was amazing, and everyone had their own favourite.

When Cirila Samuels (co-host) opened the voting, it was only until the 10th nation (Sakhovelo) voting that Euskirribakondara received points for the first time: three points. Up to that point, the race was between Folkand (Maada Kralin with "Owner"), Artsakhestan (Sofi Shahumyan with "Barev Arev"), Sakhovelo (Sopho Kortadze with "Kubistvis"), which had already been hot favourites for the win.

No points for Chenkorya yet, and Euskirribakondara began collecting 1 point (Lymantatia), 2 points (Phoenigetuzstha, Astrolinium), 4 points (Mediterra)... Just VIXX hadn't voted for Euskirribakondara, and thanks to that, in the next scoreboard update, Samira & Jan were already on a healthy 9th place. Mediterra had risen to the top already, with the act of Nostra Ardilla. Albertasby voted without giving points to Euskirribakondara, but giving enough points to the Kiaser Colonies to locate its entry into the top 5, which resulted into happiness for its peoples. Polkopia also rounded up the top 5, and many began to think they'd be the black horse of this race.

From the top of Mount Ararat, in one of the most unusual votes' announcements, Artsakhestan gave Euskirribakondara their first set of 5 points. The 18th voting nation (Demphor) finally gave 3 points to Chenkorya (none to Euskirribakondara), and opened up the space for the Anollasian voting. With another set of 5 points, Euskirribakondara finally entered the top 5... And ironically enough, with 22 points. (See Euskal superstition on number 22 for more information).

The Kiaser Colonies gave enough boost to Mediterra to reach the 29-pts line... It seemed Mediterra would finally win WHF, after a new scoreboard update was made. But then, Euskirribakondara earned 5pts from Belikovia and Carmadin. Polkopia did not vote for Euskirribakondara, but in exchange, Costa Fiero gave 2 pts. Crolacia gave another set of 5pts!

Now Euskirribakondara stood one point (39) ahead of Mediterra (38), and it was the turn of Northern Sunrise Islands to vote. 3 points for Mediterra... 4 points for Chenkorya... And.... 5 POINTS FOR EUSKIRRIBAKONDARA! Seven exact months after the Euskirribakondaran first win with Karolina Etséu & Chieko Orlich... Samira & Jan Ardegorrián were crowned after receiving points from 12 different countries, and a historical number of 6 sets of 5-points.

Their performance on number 22 was their lucky charm, which combined to a breathtaking performance, a perfect vocal delivering and a very beautiful and unique message behind the entry resulted in being the WINNERS. The critics are happy with the result, and also with Mediterra's 2nd place, Chenkorya's 3rd place and an impressive Sakhoveli 4th place.

Start getting ready for WHF10!

Host city confirmed! Welcome to Tikuna!

Image
Mosaic of Tikuna. From top to bottom, and left to right on each line: Downtown Tikuna, Riverside Bokahun Beach, Gürreña Marina, Tikuna Industrial Port, Silvan Red Macaw (City's insignia bird), Mikunan Jungle

Despite early rumours that Harrikes would host a record-breaking third time, EUSK1, its advisors, and even the winning act (Samira & Jan) appointed Tikuna as the host city for the 10th edition of the World Hit Festival. This vibrant city of 415000 inhabitants is eager to host one of the largest international events of the multiverse, on its status as gate to the Mikunan Jungle of the Silva Province: one of the largest and most important rainforests of the world, and the oxygen-source of the Flegavian Region. Totally surrounded by jungle, and with probably the largest density of trees inside a single city, Tikuna opens her arms with her already existant touristic infraestructure to the foreign audience to enjoy the whole party around WHF.

Tikuna stands divided into two zones: downtown (Parroma), and the riverside (Monihaguaré) district, conected by the four-lane 'Makú' highway. The downtown is crossed by the Tagü River and surrounded by the thick jungle. Monihaguaré, on its side, is as its name suggests, in the riverbend of the Mikunan River, and it is close to the only farms of the area or 'Hagra'. Its contact with the world is the massive Mikunan River, and the Kapax Airport and its unusual outdoor terminal. EUSKAir, as usual, will handle the transport of the delegations and the fans, mainly from the airports of Harrikes, Bilbauski (Euskirribakondara), Stepanarvashat (Artsakhestan), Dakı (Azərşuradə - For Rushmore) and Ceso (Folkand).

As the flag of the city and the province, the indigenous peoples are the rulers of these lands. Despite belonging to different tribes, from Apiratuya to Zalaké, most of them speak Mikunan, which is the lingua franca of the province, and one of the 13 official languages of Euskirribakondara. It uses a different writing system (a syllabary) that you're going to see a lot around Tikuna:

Image

Bear in mind for your stay that Tikuna, unlike most of Euskirribakondara, is located in a tropical rainforest, therefore, it will be the most humid and warmest host city of the World Hit Festival. Some tips and data about the place you'll visit:

* Average day temperature for September: 32°C / 90°F
* Average night temperature for September: 26°C / 79°F
* Relative humidity: 100%
* Thermal sensation: 3°C / 5,5°F more than the real temperature
* Meters above sea level: 96 meters

* Important to have (up to date) the malaria, dengue and yellow fever vaccines.
* Wear comfortable clothes taking into account the humidity and heat.
* When inside the jungle, wear long pants and shirts with long sleeves to protect yourself from insect bites; and boots.
* Never approach any wildlife unless you're allowed to (in specificial tourism zones).
* Use a strong insect repellent (Mosquito nets are compulsory in ALL hotels).
* Use a strong sunblock, the tropical sun is stronger than the temperate-zones sun.
* Bring hats, the use of them is highly recommended around noon.
* Respect the places marked as sacred for the local tribes.
* Euskal and Mikunan languages are spoken by everyone in the city. English is reserved to touristic guides, which are common. A phrasebook of English-Euskal or even better, English-Euskal-Mikunan, is advised.
* Air-Conditioning systems are compulsory in ALL hotels, and common in public buildings. The fountains around the city were made to let people cool off... So, you can get into the fountains whenever you want!
* ENJOY YOUR TIME!

Ready to come here?

Venue unveiled! Say hello to "Manguaré Arena"!

Image
Tagü River (Southern) façade of the Manguaré Arena

The 10th World Hit Festival is the perfect occasion to inaugurate the recently-finished "Manguaré Arena", a multi-purpose venue for the whole city of Tikuna. Its central zone can accomodate an average of 35,253 people comfortably, and that's the capacity that will be used for WHF10. Air conditioning will help ease the anxiety and bad time generated by heat in most tourists for an spectacular night of excellent music, excellent artists and an excellent hosting. The Manguaré Arena is in Downtown Tikuna, sitting in the riverbend of the Tagü River, as it can be appreciated in the main picture.

Besides acting as a performance centre, it possesses two alternate parallel settings: the warm-up zone that features some shops, a public gymnasium and a small pre-performance area. The other side is like a giant box: its first floor is occupied by a restaurant, a lounge zone, and a museum; connected by a bridge-like structure (central plaza) to the arena itself. The second floor can be used for pretty much everything: from being a place for training, to backstage, to storage cell.

During a common day, everything will be open, except the central zone, prompting a more active cultural life in the city of Tikuna. Whilst during the show, the central plaza will connect the backstage area with the stage itself in a more efficient way than others; therefore, the central plaza will be closed that night, and the access will be made through other ways around the complex.

Image
Arena's layout sketch

The Central Arena also features VIP boxes and other VIP areas that will host the acredited press and the delegation personnel. There are also more shops and restaurants scattered around the complex and the neighborhood, to make it a world-class venue for such an important event. Out of the 32532 available seats, 16000 will belong to Euskirribakondarans, 8000 to other Flegavians, and the last 8532 to foreign fans. Thanks to Euskirribakondaran law, the whole complex has adequate facilities for the accessibility of disabled people.

The Arena is connected to the bus network of Tikuna, and has a parking where taxicabs, three-wheeled taxis and taxibikes (hybrid of a motorbike and a taxi service, very common in the city) can arrive/depart. Also, it is right in the bikeway/hiking way of the Tagü District; and there's even a bike rental service (remember that in Euskirribakondara all cars (except those used for public transportation) are banned) inside the Manguaré Arena.

Image
Northern façade of the Manguaré Arena

Both the wooden façade and the special roof of the arena can be lightened up in a wide array of colours, thanks to an special set of lights. These can be used in the performances as well.

The name of the venue derives from the "Manguaré" (seen here and here), which is the device used for communication in the Mikunan rainforest. It is composed by two different drums made out of logs of the Barinatá Tree that can play different sounds depending on how the drummer is playing and the strength he/she uses.

You'll be part of the inauguration of this brand new complex!

An image that evocates nature and ethnic diversity: the image for WHF10

Image
Official logo for the 10th World Hit Festival

The logo for the 10th World Hit Festival has just been unveiled in the Tikuna City Hall. With simple lines and shapes, and a wide array of colours, the logo expects to show all the feeling behind the hosting. It is called "Dynamic", and its brief explanation is presented here:

    - The generic logo of the World Hit Festival is now presented in the Mikunan writing system. Its latin transcription is "Ohü Mesit Guañebaba" (OMG), and its the title of the contest in the Mikunan language.

    - That generic logo features four colours: orange and blue for the Euskirribakondaran national symbols; green for the biodiversity of the Silva Province, and grey for the spirit of fraternity.

    - The generic logo is encircled by a set of 22 leaves (22 as it is a symbolic number in Euskirribakondara) whose colours and position represent the cycle of life, the ever-changing nature, the ethnic diversity of the country and an indigenous feather crown as a hommage to the natives of the Tikuna lands. The colours (tones of green, red, yellow, orange and brown) were chosen for their liveliness and commonness in the nature that surrounds us.

The feather crown of 22 leaves will also be used for other aspects before and during the show, with different colours and details, depending on the occassion. Below this image, we can find the motto for the contest and the venue in which it'll take place: Magükabañakekalarré and the Manguaré Arena, respectively.

Magükabañakekalarré was selected as the motto after it was the last word of the Euskal entrants in their winning performance. It is probably the most difficult word of the Mikunan language. Specialists of Mikunan, bilingual tribe chiefs, linguists and many others have made a definition that tries to encompass all the meaning behind this 19-letter word: I love you, and I want to thank you for what you've done for me. Do not forget to be also thankful to the universe/nature who brought us here, and who gave us the opportunity to be together and share this amazing moment. All my good energy goes to you, and I hope the canvas of your life can be painted with vivid colours today and forever. The word was born many years ago, as each syllable was the syllable that started a verse in the poem "Mabüñe", of the famed Uito Warchief, Kaïmaná.

Welcome to our land!

Albertasby set to get a better result

Image
Arabella Garthwaite

Albertasby is a country with a very good reputation in both the World Hit Festival, and WorldVision. In the WHF, Albertasby has had in general, good results: 10th (WHF 4 - "The Ugly Truth" by Katie-Anne Sharpe), 2nd (WHF6 - "A Little Strange" by Emmeline LeTrente), 3rd (WHF7 - "Black and Blue" by Katie Sherlock), 15th (WHF8 - "Live and Learn" by Adrianna Whispin) and 7th ("Stories of Love" by Olivia Londer). Now, they come with an act that isn't called Katie after all.... But that wants to finally carry the show all the way down to Swantana.

It was announced last night that Albertasby would be sending NSXF finalist Arabella Garthwaite to represent them at WHF. The 17 year old describes herself as different and unique; and her voice was described as the most unique NSXF had ever seen. Arabella has been busy writing her debut album after her departure from the show, and she has chosen to perform one of the tracks from the album. Her album will be released a day after the festival, and it is hoped that her performance can secure a first victory for Albertasby as well as a number one single and album for Arabella.

Arabella is a high achieving, intelligent young girl who excelled in school and now hopes to excel in her career path. However, her mother was an opera singer, and ever since she was a young girl she longed to be a singer. She has focused far too much on her career and education, that she isn't very confident and can be seen as naive. But this Trainee Veterinary Nurse born in April 17 is ready to give all of herself!

For the first time ever, Albertasby conducted a national televote for its act; with Arabella winning with 78% of the votes against acts such as Oda, Sophie-Lauren Clews and Illuminate. Arabella had this to say; "I'm so honoured and humbled to be chosen to represent my nation on the world stage. This time last year I was an unknown performing at little local festivals; now I'm performing at one of the world's biggest music festivals. I just hope I can do the song, myself and my nation justice".

Her song; "Get To Know Me", has been written exclusively by Arabella, who will also be playing the guitar on stage. It is unknown whether a band will accompany her or not, but after her success on the Rock Week on NSXF it is likely that a full band will accompany her on the stage. Arabella has been critically acclaimed for her lyrics, and it is hoped that the world audience will agree. The rhythm used is defined as belonging to the Relaxed-Pop genre, and it will happily include English and French as languages for the lyrics.

Will she become the 10th WHF winner?

WHF10 Stage

Overview (Main Camera)
Image
With the help of EUSketch (builder of the WHF stages since WHF6), EUSK1 and the Government of the Silva Province were able to build a very special stage for the 10th edition of the World Hit Festival. The stage is inspired by the minimalistic yet meaningful artistic influences of the Silvan indigenous peoples, the biodiversity of the region, and the music of this amazing rainforest. The stage comprises several zones: treadmill-ways that go around the venue (in this image they carry water), an special hosts stage in front of the main one, a sandpit in front of the main stage and three giant screens behind the action with 3D mapping techniques. The main stage represents a set of Manguarés, jungle drums used all over the region. They are made in wood with a rectangular hole in the middle, and one is usually higher than the other, just like the main stage. The reference to nature is completed by a set of Babünga trees (Bamboo-like plants) and grasspits inside the main stage and in front of the lateral screens. Nonetheless, the main feature of the stage are the 'tubes', which float above the stage, projecting different colours and effects.

Crowd Camera
Image
The view from the crowd is that of a massive structure that amazes everyone, and expects to complement the breathtaking performances of all the participating artists. In this image you can see the whole stage, notice the tubes and Babünga trees, as well as the giant screens (in this image you can see the logo of WHF10 and the pictogram of Garükaká, the oldest drawing ever found in Euskirribakondara, dating back to the 16560 BE). The tubes are showing their basic configuration, which evocates the official logo of the contest.

Hosts' Stage Camera
Image
The hosts' stage is a wooden circular platform in front of the main stage. Like the WHF9 stage, it has floor spotlights that will allow special light effects, and it can be used by the performers as well. This wood (as well as all the wood used in the stage) is being reforested by an special program funded by the government of the Great Pluricultural Harrikía of Euskirribakondara. The floor (yellowish in this picture) at the sides, is made with LED technology, that will allow better images for the cameras, when needed.

Sand Camera
Image
The image of the sand camera captures two very important features of the stage. The first one, is the sandpit in front of the stage. For the tribes of the Mikunan rainforest, the connection with the Earth (Or "Bagamimi", Mother Earth) is a factor that influences constructions everywhere. Here, we've decided to follow the tradition, and the sand can also be moved around to form shapes or little structures (our staff will be in charge of setting that up for the participants). The second important feature is the treadmill-way, which you can see as a "river" in this moment. Designed by Garo Haghik, a Euskirribakondaran designer, these are "tunnels" below the surface level, with a translucid crystal top. Inside the tunnel, there's a resistant treadmill that can carry anything you need: from water and earth (to form rivers or earthy paths) to props that can add something to each performance. The light of them can also be changed, to use it just as another lighting instrument for the stage.

Tubes Camera
Image
These 14 tubes will stand in the future as the symbol of this stage, just like the eternal fire represented the WHF7 stage, the giant circular stage represented the WHF8 stage, and the forget-me-not flower represented the WHF9 stage. The tubes are floating structures that can be moved back and forward, up and down, to be as dynamic as the stage uses. They can display any colour desired, or image. They can also be filled with water or fog (in this case the exterior will become transparent, and the inside will show the referenced materials). And they can be used as platforms as well, in the case of the two central tubes (if you see closely on their tip they are different from the other tubes, they have a little camera where people or props can go into).

Lateral Camera
Image
The main/central stage is perfectly portrayed here. The back of the stage bears proudly some Babünga trees, and the stage itself is made with an special regional wood (reforested, of course). This special type of wood reflects (with its brownish tone of course) the light projected on it, making possible many cool colour combinations. The rectangular holes in the middle are grasspits. The trick here is that the grasspits are stage lifts (they can go up and down anytime) and are actually just crystal-covered grass deposits. Which means that if you step here, you won't be in the grass itself, but it will look like it. This deposit can also display any colour, so you can have as many grass colours as you want! This visual effect can be completed in another way as well... You can put props here and they will look as if they were right in the middle of a meadow.

Diagonal Camera
Image
The diagonal camera shows that there are also grasspits in front of the screens, which can be perfectly customized like the grasspits of the main stage, as they work in the same exact way. You can see here as well that the entrances of the stage (besides the lifts) are hidden behind the line of Babünga trees, in the two walls that separate the three screens. The shots made before the postcards, which show the artists entering the stage, will most likely be made in the grasspits or the very entrance door.

Babünga (Bamboo) Camera
Image
The line of Babünga trees is another trademark of the WHF10 stage, and these special plants are always used in Tikuna City for decor. The special thing about them are their leafs... As they refract any light applied to it. As such, a white light behind a Babünga tree suddenly becomes a shining rainbow in front of it. In fact, they are nicknamed the "jungle spotlights", and they will be used as such in the stage. The camera behind the line of Babünga trees is a good way to watch the whole crowd in front of the performers.

Remember too, that from all the edges of the main stage, the sandpits, the grasspits and the hosts stage, pyros (water and normal fireworks), fire, fog and light can come out. The following are some images from different angles that might help you build a better overview of the stage.

Folkand takes first win in the World Hit Festival

Image
Sabina Bojanovic, WHF10 winner

After a very exciting night, Sabina Bojanovic (Featuring "The Natives") won the 10th World Hit Festival, representing Folkand, with the song "Avrihe" (Africa). It's the first time a dubstep song wins the contest, though it also includes electronic and folk. Hear the tune here! It is part of her album "Natura", and its lyrics (in Saintrabinian and Polish languages) talk about the African continent. The song came 1st with 43 points coming from 12 different voters. Closely behind was Euskirribakondara with 42 points from 13 voters; and Crolacia with 40 points from 12 voters. As such, the top 2 was integrated by Flegavian nations. (You can check out the full results here).

Sabina is the fourth Folkandish entrant after Iga Lvova & Kaarvagandaa (18th place with 5 points, "Danse Macabre", WHF7), Cezar Boree (3rd place with 34 points, "Walkiria", WHF8) and Maada Kralin (5th place with 28 points, "Owner", WHF9). She brought home the victory with a song that fared well in the rankings before the night of the ceremony. The show, hosted by Samira Kareli and Jan Ardegorrián, marked the inauguration of the Manguaré Arena of Tikuna, with 35,253 attendants; and also, the fourth time EUSK1 (and third time Euskirribakondara) hosted the prestigious event. The result was not decided but until the final vote was casted, from Fromulya, also a Flegavian nation.

Critics have praised the use of national language, and the experimental notes of the tune, as well as a beautiful performance that reminded many of Totó's WHF8 "Ngoma Ya Moyo Wanga".

See you in Folkand!
