We in The UGFLSPN have been busy with plenty of paperwork sorting and have now patched things through, and would like fellow space-faring nations to join this alliance if need be. Special attention goes for the former members and would like to extend an application to them if they so choose to rejoin this alliance. Below are notable RP's the IC is actively participating in:
For those who are not informed with such an alliance let us explain it to you the best we can. We are an alliance of space-faring nations that wish to unite together to bring peace and harmony to the universe, if even possible. We abide by ten ideals that all member nations must follow to stay in this alliance. Failure to do so must be brought on charges of treason. A meeting will be held with current ministers to assess such a situation if need be, and a decision will be made forthwith; the organization's headquarters is in The Universal Dominion.
All nations of all government styles are welcome to join as long as they are not guilty of the above ideals. Now for ministerial positions and how these work into the alliance. There are a total of nine government positions in total excluding the Chief of Staff position because it cannot change because we are the founder and chief of staff and we regulate the organization as necessary. The number of positions is subject to change however. If the organization has no available president at the time, we the UGFLSPN will be temporary head of state until a new elected president assumes the position.
Since we have a speaker position, it is possible to vote on legislation. All member nations can propose a legislation and all member nations can vote on said legislation in a separate thread regulated by us, the UGFLSPN. Voting time will be issued to be around 24-72 hours, depending on member activity. Once passed it is immediately implemented into the organization and is chronicled here as well.
Now, one of the most important aspects of this alliance is members and how to apply to be a part of this alliance if it is their choice. Below is the official member and observer applications to join or observe the Intergalactic Committee:
Concerning puppet nation policy: This is a case-by-case basis and for now they may be allowed, as long as this does not falter the organization in any way. Basically if we can't tell if your nation is a puppet state or not, it's not our problem as long as it is within certain limits. Now on to the Intergalactic Committee's trade and defense policies:
Lastly, we cannot forget about our member registry/directory. The greatest aspect of all would be its individual members. We care deeply for each one, whether if they have Communist, Fascist, Liberal, Conservative, Capitalist, Centrist, Corrupt, Libertarian, or no government at all and will try to help in any way we can to insure peace and harmony in the universe. New members are welcome with open arms as well as our former members who we miss very dearly and who we'd like to have back.
Members who are listed as banned were former members who are considered traitors to the organization from the new and old alliance. Well this concludes our statement about our alliance. Please feel free to be apart of it if that is your choice, and to consider that this organization will have a lasting impact on the members itself, either good or bad.
