Postby Estro - Vungaria » Tue Apr 19, 2011 3:48 pm

Estro - Vungaria has "The Golden Five" of composers, they flourished in the 18th and 19th centuries and performed not only in the empire and in front of the Imperial Families but across the world and their music is still played in orchestras globally, here is one piece per composer -

The following is a list of notable "classical" music enjoyed in YellowApple ("classical" meaning anything within the first two milennia AD or prior):

"Sea Songs" by Ralph Vaughn Williams, a medley of three English folk songs, one of which ("Portsmouth") is the predecessor of the YellowApplan National Anthem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kF9r6JPqa7Q

"Songs of Sailor and Sea" by Robert W. Smith. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UR1HyxUe4-c

"I Am Glad, Cause I'm Finally Returning Back Home" by Eduard Anatolyevich Khil (the current governor of Trololopolis). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Z4m4lnjxkY

We have had several famous classical composers:

There was Edward Bran, famous for composing the music to his Opera "65 Million Years". He was famous for using moody dramatic music to help make a particular scene in one of his operas more dramatic. His most famous composure would be "Primordial Wilderness", a piece from his Opera. This was famous for being played in the opening scene, depicting wild Dinosaur tearing each other apart and struggling to survive in a barbaric wilderness before the music settled down as we see a herd of wild Triceratops moving through a vast open plains.

There was also Josephine Smith, who composed a number of famous pieces of classical work, many of which were used in popular culture.

Finally, there was Robert Sinclair, who composed many different works, including this one, which he dubbed "Parade".
