Trigra Assumes Power After Using Article 23

Nosamo, Guadalupador- This morning, the people of Guadalupador were treated to a peculiar sight. The Guadalupadorian National Centrist Party Leader, Guissepe Trigra speaking directly from the Grand Premier's Office. In his speech, he announced that: " The Grand Premier of Guadalupador, Natalya Saiko is no longer fit to lead the nation." He continued to explain his assumption to power's legality, noting that this move was not a coup, but was decided by the National Assembly to invoke Article 23 of the Guadalupadorian Constitution. After only one hearing, where most of the representatives either voted or abstained, the decision was to strip the Grand Premier of her position, and to also exile her from the country.

Federal Army soldiers are lining the streets of Nosamo, today in an attempt by the new Grand Premier to keep the civil unrest in check. Most opposition representatives feel disgruntled at the act, and are scared that they'll be persecuted by Trigra. "The transition into a Sonacist State won't be an easy one, but it will be achieved." Trigra said in his first interview after assuming power.

Many Dorian citizens oppose this action, as Sonacists are looked down on by a majority of the public. Allyancia do Progreso is planning "massive demonstrations" according to one source within the Activist Group. Even our sources within the military are saying that Grand Premier Trigra isn't as popular as he thinks he is.

Chevrolet Astholm to launch new family car for 2015


Chevrolet Astholm are to launch a new family car for 2015. It will use the platform of the European Opel Astra/Vauxhall Astra, but use cheaper parts and be aimed at developing markets.
This is similar to how the Chevrolet Cobalt, Onix, Prisma and Sail are all the Chevrolet Sonic with cheaper parts, made for markets where cheaper vehicles sell better.

We know that it will be available as a five-door hatchback, four-door sedan and five-door stationwagon, but we have no information yet about engines, although we know it will have 4-cylinder petrols, and a diesel as well.

A name has yet to be announced, but speculation remains that it may be a variant on Astra or Kadett, or it could even be a Prisma spin-off name.

Chevrolet to launch Cutlass in the Philippines?


In November 2014, Chevrolet Philippines, may launch the Cutlass depending on customer reaction here.
Available as a sedan or stationwagon in its native market, it was first launched in 1982, with a facelift in 1989, before ceasing production in 1996. Until 18 years later, in early 2014, when it was re-issued/re-released for some markets. It wore the Oldsmobile badge, and was known as the Cutlass Ciera,
and in its later years, the Oldsmobile Ciera.

Now it may come here, if it does, it will be sold only as a sedan, and engine choices will be a 3.1-litre/190hp V6 petrol. It won't wear the Oldsmobile badge, that's certain, but the Chevrolet bowtie on the grille; no Oldsmobile badge on the bonnet, even.

What we do know is that it's been modernized, made safer, more fuel-efficient and faster than its 1980s and 90s original, plus it's going to have more equipment.

No information on prices or specs yet, but we like it. It looks good

Ford Ranger Baje launched in the United Kingdom of Astholm


Ford in the United Kingdom of Astholm have launched a scaled-down version of the current Ranger, the T6. Badged as the Ranger Baje, it is shorter in length and has a lower ground clearance. Its name comes from the Spanish word, baja, meaning lower.

The Ranger Baje looks similar to the current car, but it is also similar to it in some ways; it comes as rear- or four-wheel-drive.
However, it is also different too; styling is slightly more block-like and it is only offered as a two-door single cab for now.

It is unique to Astholm, but may be exported more widely if it proves successful; but we don't doubt that it will be, given that it's the blue oval and based off the Ranger.

Engines are entirely different from that of the current car; no 2.5 Duratec petrols or TDCi turbodiesels (well, not the Ranger's anyway), but instead, it gets a choice of 2.0-litre/76bhp 4-cylinder, 2.0-litre/104bhp 4-cylinder, or a 2.0-litre/134bhp 16v 4-cylinder (badged as 2.0 16v) petrol. There are two turbodiesels, a 1.8-litre/74bhp 4-cylinder turbodiesel, 1.8-litre/100bhp 4-cylinder, 1.8-litre/125bhp 4-cylinder and 2.0-litre/149bhp 4-cylinder turbodiesel. (The last three are branded as 1.8 TDCi)

The entry-level 2.0 uses Ford's Pinto engine in 74bhp tune, as seen in the P100 pick-up, whilst the mid-range 104bhp variant is also a Pinto engine from the Sierra. The 2.0 16v is sourced from the Mondeo, and is a Zetec engine.

As for the turbodiesels, the 1.8 is the Endura-E engine seen in the Sierra and P100, whilst the TDCi turbodiesels use Ford's Duratorq engines seen in the Mondeo

The naming conventions for the engines are:
Petrol
  • 2.0 (for the 2.0-litre/76bhp 4-cylinder)
  • 2.0 105 (for the 104bhp 4-cylinder)
  • 2.0 16v (for the 134bhp 16v)
Diesel
  • 1.8 TD (for the 1.8 TD Endura E engine)
  • 1.8 TDCi 100
  • 1.8 TDCi 125
  • 2.0 TDCi 150

Trim levels are Base, XL, XLT and Limited.

Prices will be announced within the next week or so.

However, given that Ford here offers the Bantam, Courier, P100, Falcon Ute, Ranger, Explorer Sport Trac and F-Series pick-up trucks, you might be forgiven for asking, does Ford really need yet another pick-up in its range? But we can see this fits a specific market niche.

Al-Ghazi, the notorious terrorist organization rumored to be headquartered in the war-zones of Ukraine, have officially been designated as a "Tier-1 Threat Priority Terrorist Organization" by the People's State of the People's Democratic Republic of Uguria today.

In opposition to the upstart terrorists, Çuñtuñ Caoçañ Ju of Uguria has issued to decree today to "declare all-out war against the enemy of the People and the People's State". Uguria has restated that "albeit bitter relationships with foreign political entities through the last decades, we are willing to cooperate to our full extent to bring the terrorists to justice".

The State Party has ordered the National Revolutionary Guard today to "spare no efforts in exterminating the wild grass to its roots". Uguria, as a nation, must contribute to bringing the terrorists to their knees, no matter the consequences. "The end goal is the facilitation of Al-Ghazi's destruction", Şşaikh Feiçou Kho confirmed.

Protests by religious communities - including Muslims - in Uguria, against the threat of Al-Ghazi, is taking place.

The whole nation stands strong against the threat of Al-Ghazi.

Celsan Automotive to launch in the Philippines
The Philippines is a diverse automarket, with well-known Japanese manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Honda and Nissan maintaining a presence, alongside European marques like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

But a new entrant comes in; Celsan.

Astholm's equivalent to Opel and Vauxhall will be entering the market from November 2014.

The range will consist of three vehicles initially, the Falina (a rebodied Opel Astra), the Vextra and the Kalyenglupain (which resembles a Nissan Xterra) - named for the Filipino word for "cross terrain".

Celsan are intending to market themselves as more upmarket than Nissan or Toyota, yet lower than BMW on the price scale.

Today Dirigeant Satsuki Kiryuin announced that she will be observing her term limit and will not be running for re-election. "I thought about continuing if we [The H.E.S.L Coalition Party] couldn't find a successor to run, we found someone and I just need a break from leading to enjoy life." Satsuki would tell FBC. The H.E.S.L Party came out later to announce the nomination of Mr. Kamito Kazehaya as the H.E.S.L Party Candidate. This comes as a shock to some Flardanians as many people expected the popular Haruhi Fujioka to get the bid and instead are introduced to a little known man who never shined in the political career besides some special operation missions until he left 4 months ago probably to receive this bid. FBC will be covering this Historic Election. Stay Posted.

This morning, I go to my window to see a bunch of soldiers marching down the street. To my fear, they turned out to be Cuscatlani soldiers... Dark times are ahead for Guadalupador.
