Trisha and Adina
It was not unusual for traffic jams and rush hours to come after holidays like Labor Day. Vadopolis suffered (and suffers) from so much traffic jams they are quite routine for its residents. It is a wonder that public transportation is used often and is less jammed.

The stations that Adina sought after was not being broadcast here, and even if they were, almost no one in Pavonistade would tune in to them (that doesn't mean there is completely no contact with Astyria, though). As for neighborhoods, Vadopolis of course have some of these, which were almost always more calm and less hectic than the city's downtown. It might be difficult for most such outskirts to sanction something as large as a Diamond Star, but nevertheless they would be a decent choice for a home for many entrants.

Both would end up in the TropiBean Cafe, which was close to a shallow beach. This cafe was known for being rather serene and for producing good quality coffee and foodstuff from Pavonistadian-produced ingredients. There was a rather large parking lot that allowed for a truck to station at, and this would eliminate any need for Trisha and Adina to walk from a long distance - the nearest parking space suitable for trucks, other than the one provided by TropiBean, was many blocks away, and it was reserved only for the customers of the stores responsible for that space.

Thundering down the highway, it was Trisha who spotted the cafe,
"Dina, over there to the left, see it" says Trisha, pointing out the large sign that marked out the cafe.
"yeah seen it" replies Adina, flicking the turn signals on with her fingers as she gently brings the 19 litre TerraStar V12 to a stop, then there is of course the view of the sea beyond, its azure waters reflecting in the morning sun, "Trish, now thats what I call a view" says Adina pointing at the ocean as she waits for a gap in the oncoming traffic, then as the gap comes Adina makes her move and puts the truck onto the parking lot, its suspension hissing and creaking as it drops onto the parking lot off the road level, "now to pick a parking spot, there is plenty of them, and hey may be able to drop here, there's a compound with trailers, and an area for reefers, nothing worse than one of those chugging away".

Whilst on the parking lot, Adina brings the truck to a halt in a pull through area, "Im gonna park here for a few then speak to the compound guard about a long term lease of a space for this puppy, so if ya want, pop the doors and pull the ramp extentions down and release the straps, car can them be lowered off the ramp, winch control is in the car" she says as Trisha opens the door to carefully climb down. Once on the floor Trisha walks down alongside the trailer and opens the rear doors, climbs onto the under-ride bar though to call it a climb is very much in the loose sence as Trish uses the grap rails to haul herself up in order to release the rear tie down strap before getting the ramps out. Getting the ramps out is just like on ant auto transporter, you just pull them out and drop them on the floor, then once that was done Trisha makes her way to the side door where she then opens it and uses the pull out steps to carefully get in, unlike Adina Trisha doesn't athletically leap up, but instead climbs carefully and gingerly though once inside she unstraps the wheel tie-down straps then retrives the winch control and sets it to spool out cable and slowly the small 2-door sports coupe is lowered to the parking lot.

Once the car is on the floor, Trisha unties the front and rear bumpers that have been tied to the sides of the trailer, placing them on the floor of the trailer by the rear door then carefully she climbs back down again, breaking a C-leg may not be painful but could be expensive if she fell, and Trisha wears 2! back on the floor Trisha leans on the bonnet of the car, (ooc: Hood for American NSers), trisha unclips the winch then sends it back into a point just behind where the doors lock into position before sliding the ramps back into where they belong. With the light weight alloy ramps stowed the hydraulic ramp is lowered flat where it becomes part of the trailers floor.

"Adina, how these bumpers go on?" asks Trisha

"they clip into place on QR mounts, just offer them up and they click in place, If you hang on I will clip them in for ya" was Adina's reply as Trisha closed the doors to the trailer then retrives the two bumpers from by the side door and placing them into the boot of the coupe before closing the side door of the trailer. Adina climbs down and shuts the motor down after filling out some paperwork, once on the floor with the cab doors shut, Adina makes her way over to the car and takes the bumper to the front and offers it up top the mount then after offering the said bumper up on its mountings it is given a firm shove and with a clunk it is locked in place, she then repeats this with the rear bumper before taking the keys from the glove box before opening the doors which on this car open vertically, yes it has "lambo doors"! (not to mention a pair of exhausts you can push a soda can down).

Adina and Trisha then make their way over to the compound where trucks are stationed to make a lease, then after that there can only be one thing to do, a nice breakfast in a new country by the sea, Trisha walks a little slower than Adina, though Adina has just commited a fashion faux pas, Tight leather pants, a pvc half-jacket and black T-shirt, Pink slip-on sneakers, its probably not so much the leather that is offending but Pink sneakers, oh dear looks like the guard is going to get his eyes burned! Arriving at the small office, Adina leans in through the window "Good morning, have you any spaces for an eighteen meter rig to lease?" she asks comenting thereafter, "it does have a reefer but its solar powered"

Chris combed his brain for the language. He then recognized it as English, which he had taken during College. He suddenly wished he had understood the class. 29 August, Morning
Karl VII International Aiport, Njorg, Sjalhaven

Cecilia jumped off the car, opened the trunk of the car and quickly grabbed her suitcase. She then ran into the airport, making a good bye sign with her hand to her parents. She was afraid of being late more than everything else right now. She quickly went through luggages and ID check, and entered the plane. The great majority of the passengers did not stop what they were doing, while some looked at her trying to make her feel bad for being late. She joined her seat, and a last passenger sat right next to her a few minutes before departure.

It was only a few seconds after it was too late, when the plane started moving, that Cecilia remembered her irrational fear of planes, and quite much everything that you can fly in. The whole rush of the last hour made her completely forget about that. The flight attendant illustrated the different emergency situations and how do deal with them. Cecilia, doing her best to stay calm, watched with attention, as she was expecting it to happen.

29 August, Afternoon - 30 August, Afternoon
Namo, Namor

As the plane touched down, she finally found herself relaxed. She one out of the first time passenger to go out of the plane. She went to all security checks, now searching for her suitcase only to figure out her brother, Johan, living and working in Namor, already got it and was waiting for her. She could not run toward him to hug him, as it has been 2 years since he moved to Namo. The pair of them walked toward the parking while chatting, not hurried.

As planned, she spent the rest of the afternoon and the evening in company of her brother, as he showed her some nice places around the cities. He took her to a small but reputable restaurant close to his flat, when she struggled to eat her fen noodle soup with chopstick. They then went to Johan's apartment, when the both of them fell asleep very quickly.

The following day, Cecilia woke up in top form. The sun was already quite high in the sky, and so they decided to skip breakfast to directly go to lunch. Before driving her to the airport, Johan showed her his office and presented her to some of his Namorese colleagues by the way. She thought: "I should go around and learning one of those asiatic languages. Namorese seems pretty nice." Security checks went as smooth as the eve, and she quickly boarded her second international flight of the week.

31 August, Early Morning
Vadopolis, Pavonistade

While she barely dealt with the first flight, the considerable additional distance between Namor and Vadopolis made the second a flight a torture to Cecilia. However, as she hurriedly left the plane, she smiled and thought: "Well, you won your bet mom. Nothing bad happened. Apart if sudden-" She stopped. She almost reached ID check and started panicking as she couldn't find her passport. It's only when an old woman calmly addressed here, and pointed the passport fallen on the ground, in an approximative English. Cecilia thanked her, grabbed it and eventually get through security. She took her suitcase, still present - a relief to her. As she walked toward the exit, a door to a whole new world, she stopped at a coffee machine. She haven't slept of the whole flight and was pretty exhausted, but knew she wasn't home yet.

As she crossed the massive airport doors, she had a wonderful view on the Vadopolis' skyline. "It is at least 10 times twice as big as Njorg" she openly said, out of stupefaction. While Vadopolis wasn't the capital city of the country, it sure felt like the economic and cultural capital. Her parents, as well his brother, helped her bought a quite nice apartmentin the city. Signs were relatively clear, even if they were in Pavon - but that was no problem to her - and soon enough she was using for the first time, and not for the last, Vadopolis' rail transport. She reached the correct building after walking for a few metres after the rail. Most of the personnel was still sleeping, but the janitor stopped reading his journal when he heard Cecilia enter. The man, definitely quite old, tried to address her in English, but ended up confusing both languages. Cecilia asked (in her almost perfect Pavon): "Hello there, do you know where can I get keys for apartment 142 ?

"Oh sure here." James said. He passed over the visas and said "So um...do you need an explanation of the scar? I was in a war and had my Humvee blow up around me. I was luck this was all that happened." The officer looked only slightly interested.

A few minutes flew by and the ride that lasted for hours had come to an end, stopping at 9:46 pm. The train stopped at a small station in the outskirts of Irvestre, which was surrounded by forests that are, in turn, surrounded by tall mountains and valleys. It was not that surprising, as Irvestre was situated at an altitude higher than most coastal cities like Vadopolis. If it was day, the people would be able to see the verdant nature and river that this town had access to. Up in the dark sky was a bright collection of the moon, stars, and even some constellations. It was really dark now, with the station lit only by a few incandescent overhead lamps, so the D'Aquinos should better move.

They quickly got their suitcases from Irvestre station and got into a station wagon to head towards their residence. The residence was actually a sort of a mansion that was back in Protasio's early days outside of town, and was built in the 1700s. Besides the main building (which housed some of the D'Aquinos), there were some other buildings, including a converted barn (into a home suitable for Protasio and his family, complete with furniture).

As they got closer, it seemed rather interesting to back home for the first time, and actually stay there for good. Romeo and his wife felt relieved and a sense of joy, returning back home for good, to die in their hometown.

Agathe smiled, and took the pamphlet. She curtsied again, and passed through the line, picking up a golden tiara and placing it in her luggage, along with many other family riches, to the amazement of the one child who saw them. She then walked past, spotting a couple passing through customs and a handsome ginger being held back because of his beard. She waved and smiled at them, and then walked a distance, passing by many unfamiliar faces.

The memories of her time in Sanguinia still wound her profoundly, the evil doings of her stepmother still affecting her at this moment. To this day, speaking to other women gives her flashbacks of the abuse she endured. A woman almost bumped into her, and she almost tripped in a reflex to get away. She apologized in a awkward manner, and her loud, gruff Sanguinian accent let everyone know she was from the strange islands, her accent was almost comical, like a television stereotype of a slave owning Sanguinian. She then promptly shut her mouth and kept walking, she activated her phone and started listening to music, mostly some rock and roll, and hailed a cab. She asked to go to a place that sells Pavonistadian cuisine, and paid for the cab, and took the ride.

Mikasa
The immigration officer grabbed and took some time to appraise the visa. Now that all the documents are sufficiently set, she quickly smacked the green seal of approval onto the document and briefly declared, "You are clear to enter Vadopolis. Denteivue." Mikasa left the station and into somewhere spacious for her line to proceed. She could do two things: she could either get to her location with the trains and buses the airport provided; or she could stay and see all the souvenirs, food courts, details, etc. that the airpot had. There is much that this giant establishment has to offer, though it's Mikasa choice.

Trisha and Adina
The guard Adina approached happened to have a sunglasses, so when looking at the pink sneakers, his eyes shouldn't burn as much as they supposedly would without the sunglasses. There was little need to worry about burning eyes.

Anyways, he answered Adina's question, "There is a giant space for leasing, yes." He gesticulated to a spot just several meters away. While Trish and Adina are lucky to have a [public] rig for leasing, they would require payment in order to do so. To get that cost covered, they would need to pay at a nearby automated machine responsible for the leasing (such machines are common in Vadopolis), and they could pay with cash or by credit card. Another warning is that there is a time limit that increases the more one pays. A ♇1 coin can give Trisha and Adina 20 minutes, for example.

For clarification, the reefer/refrigerated container didn't matter much. The rig was open for most trucks in fact, and it attracts various truck drivers of all types every day.

Chris
"What direction for?" the woman asked. As the horn blared, she got into a hurrying state. "I can't stay here for long now. I have to get to my scene soon."

There was no way for Chris to tell she was the same person that approached Yuri earlier. There was also little evidence for Chris to determine she was one of the many famous actresses of Pavonistade. If he somehow noticed, he would probably relate this woman's job to her hasty behavior. That wouldn't be the central issue now, as a language barrier is clearly in place.

Cecilia
The old woman Cecilia encountered was named Vanesa Olifiana, aged 76, who had retired from her satisfactory occupation as a tour guide and who, much less noticeably, mothered nurse Janaete Olifiana. Vanesa had a local, though not widespread, reputation for her kindness and her travelling tendencies meant that this won't be the final encounter with her. Before she went through an automated door and leave the airport, she got herself a medium-sized coffee from the TropiBean coffee machine. She had to pay ♇2 for the machine to dispense the selected type of coffee. (TropiBean wasn't just a tiny store by the shallow beach, it was a Pavonistade-wide corporation, and that store is one of the many in Vadopolis.)

Cecilia paid for transportation by a Grade of Automation 4 train. As explained earlier, such trains operate automatically without any staff whatsoever, excluding possible customer service staff. The ride took only a few minutes before Cecilia got to her stop and left for her apartment. As she stepped into the tall building, she would notice that it won't be considered by Pavonistadians as preferable. She approached janitor Karlos Bafarles, who gave her the answer, "You have to ask that in the information desk. It's right there" - he pointed to a desk, where a middle-aged male receptionist was sleeping - "but you have to wake him up carefully. He often has a quick temper."

The janitor swepft the floor shortly before stopping and reading his journal again, leaning on the wearing granite wall.

James and Krista
The immigration officer tried not to raise hostilities even with little risks of so, responding with, "There's no need for an explanation, although those with noticeable scars tend to be disliked by this one portion of Pavonistadians. They go as far as to discriminating against scarred people, unless they realized they are or were actual soldiers - like you."

After reading over the visa, the officer approved the couple and handed back the documents that came with two free TolouCure Containers. "Denteivue tea Pavonisteid," he said with a Pavonistadian accent (OOC: think American accent with noticeable British, French, and aboriginal). James and Krista are ready to roam in either the rest of the airport or this giant lively city/country.

D'Aquinos
At this time of September 1, there was little activity out in the town. By the time the D'Aquinos reached their residence, it was right at 10:00 pm, and all attempts should be made to be as silent as possible so as not to disrupt the townspeople. The family then got off the station wagon and, before getting into their main building, paid some Pavoid coins.

Irvestre was not a completely backwards town. It had some cars, albeit those dating from the 1960, '70s, '80s, or '90s (almost none came from the '00s or beyond). Overhead lamps were quite modern, although they were not as appealing as those found in cities like Vadopolis. Asphalt roads gradually expanded in Irvestre and are trying to push gravel roads out of the town. The buildings, including the train station, are becoming more contemporary but still had features from decades ago. Despite the unattractive features of the past, the D'Aquinos would enjoy this place for some time.

Agathe
The 76-year-old woman Agathe bumped into was not bothered by the incident and her Sanguinian accent. She responded, "It's alright, don't worry about that," as she walked away in the densely-packed airport.

Agathe happened to call for a white cab, one of the public transportations that the airport offered. She did what she needed to do before the cab sped into the city. As expected, both the driver and the princess ended up in a massive traffic jam. The driver turned around and said, "You know, this is the 4th traffic jam I've got into today. I hoped that the people took the trains, but looks like they stick to their smelly cars. I also wanted to help in the trains, but I somehow got stuck to this cab. Sorry for all this mess, but jams are routine in this city."

Agathe ended up in the Upkeep Restaurant, and before she left the cab she was given a TolouCure Container. She walked onto the tiles of the restaurant as she was seated with help from a waitress and she was given a menu to choose from.

Irvestre

The features of the past were exactly why they loved the town. However, an old man waited them, and led them to the barn where they'd live: in it were modern amenities and showed Protasio, Tatiania, their children and stepchildren their rooms: Protasion and Tatiana had the master bedroom, but the three kids had their own rooms. After thanking the old man, the family all decided to go to bed.

The night would pass by quickly. Tomorrow, they'll unpack what they brought from home...

Úlfer
(OOC: sorry for the delay of this post)
As he was getting processed one thing he knew was going to be an issue and that was the beard. It had only been growing for about six months so hopefully it wasn't going to be to much of an issue. Úlfer pointed to his I.D and Passport which stated two common features and that was hair color, hight, and eye color as well as other documentation which included a drivers license which was issued just four months ago.

"Yes ma'am well as you can see these documentation all match in other areas including date of birth, hair and eye color, and height. I also have this drivers license that was issued when I first started to grow my beard as well as a voting card issued that same week."

He pulled out his drivers license and the voting card of which both had nearly identical pictures which showed him with a very short beard starting to grow and it could easily just be called stubble but he also pointed out the dates of issue on his identification to hopefully prove that what he was saying was true. The date of issue were about two months apart and could hopefully show that the beard had been growing for some time at this point.

It was not unusual for traffic jams and rush hours to come after holidays like Labor Day. Vadopolis suffered (and suffers) from so much traffic jams they are quite routine for its residents. It is a wonder that public transportation is used often and is less jammed.

Úlfer
The female immigration officer was responsible for taking care of Úlfer's travel documents, as well as all those people that started lining up behind him. As she checked Úlfer's ID and passport, she obviously noticed a discrepancy relating to his beard, and even if that beard came not too long ago, it was necessary to warrant a question. The officer alerted promptly, "Sir, your current facial features, specifically the beard, does not match the photo provided in your documents."

Other than that discrepancy, all his documents and visa were valid, and the solution to the beard issue would mean entrance to Pavonistade's largest city.

James and Krista
The passports that James and Krista handed over was being checked by a male immigration officer, who worked at a station many meters away from Úlfer's line. Much like Úlfer, a line of passport-wielding travellers had already formed behind the couple. While the officer flipped over their passports, he looked at James's scar multiple times as well as Krista's visage.

Before he did anything further, he quickly asked, "Do you have your visas?" It doesn't appear that the couple handed over their visas, assuming they are not snuggled somewhere in the passports.

Agathe
Typically, there would be a lot of police in a Pavonistadian international airport like this one in Vadopolis. Most airport security officers wore Kevlar armor and armed with SIG Sauer P220 pistols, electroshock guns, and electroshock batons. Some would even be armed with assault rifles, but they are rarely armed with actual bullets (but, rather, rubber bullets). It was an unusual day in which there were less security than normal. It would make the travellers feel more comfortable, but this wasn't really approved by safety forces of Vadopolis and elsewhere in Pavonistade. One thing that Agathe was right about was that there were no loudspeakers lionizing whatever Emperor he is.

Agathe was being checked by another immigration officer, whose station was sandwiched between, but not adjacent to, those of James/Krista and Úlfer. Soon after the officer gave a bilingual stamp of approval, he began to speak, "On a basis, this is a beautiful country populated by over 85 million people. It has lush environments and natural sites that could be found in various parts. Here in Vadopolis, the population is over 8 million, but its 'whole area' would contain over 23 million. Politically, Pavonistade is decentralized (states have more control over themselves) and more free than maany other countries. I am not good at summarizing, so while you are at it, feel free to take a look at this booklet."

The officer handed over a free booklet to Agathe. Its title was "Denteivue tea Pavonisteid!" and below the Pavon title was the English "Welcome to Pavonistade!" The background had a series of photos that are taken from places all over the country, and could easily prove the majestic nature of the country.

Yuri
Following Yuri's words came a large swarm of sounds from various reporters, all struggling to tame their news-hungry monsters and eager to hear his story. The others than sat beside Yuri smiled at all of them as bright white camera flashes began to appear frequently. Soon one of the reporters stood out, and was revealed to be from the Pavonistade Agency of News, the largest news network in the country. He asked loudly, "What is the typical humidity of your origin?"

This question was particularly necessary. Anyone that came from a place with less humidity than the often-humid Pavonistade would see that their bodies won't work efficiently in humid areas. If this applied to Yuri, he would need to train extensively to have his body adapt to the humid environments of Pavonistade.

Kyle
Kyle easily passed the immigration process thanks to his accurate documents. The officer responsible for him stamped an approved sign on his document and permitted him to enter Vadopolis. This officer then called out "Open!" and accepted the next person for processing. For the sake of location, Kyle's station was adjacent to Agathe's.

Kyle took a yellow taxi to his hotel destination, but before that he paid the due price with Pavoid coins. While the taxi was stuck in a large traffic jam, the driver took the chance to hand over a TolouCure Container and blurted out, "You will need this, no matter what." It took thirty minutes for the taxi to reach the hotel. Before Kyle left the taxi, the driver told him, "Sorry for the jam, man. This city gets clogged up on a daily basis. Take the trains whenever necessary."

He stepped into the luxurious hotel that he was interested in - it was the same hotel that Chris got to. After checking in with the hotel desk, Kyle took a fast elevator to his assigned floor, and walked to and entered his room. The room was unsurprisingly relaxing, and albeit several differences the room was detailed closely to that of Chris's. Of course, Kyle would have a lot of time to enjoy in his Pavonistadian hotel.

Mikasa
To correct Mikasa, the language was not named Pavonian, but rather Pavon. It was common for foreigners to misspell the name of that national language. Anyways, the female immigration officer in the airport investigated into Mikasa's passport. She did so in a station away from the others, from James/Krista to Agathe, and there was obviously a line right behind Mikasa. It took some time before the officer, assuming the visa wasn't in the passport, spoke, "I need to see your visa please."

Besides the visa issue, all the others passed under the officer's vision.

"Estenian Overseas Islands have a lot of humidity especially in Summer, then the humidity hits 90-100%. The Overseas Islands Lcal League ends in June humidity then is 85% on the other months it ranges from 45% to 70% of humidity. I am used to high levels of that, don't worry."

Yuri said quite comfortably to the people.

After being pointed to the autovend for the parking ticket Adina swiped and paid for overnight parking before walking back over to the truck and putting the ticket in the windshield, after which with the two vehicles parked side by side and the HoS recorder racking up a break, Trisha and Adina made their way into the cafe itself and ordered a meal, nothing flashy but a nice breakfast meal with a warm drink whilst they discussed the coming days, in particularly they were discussing the possibility of working hand in hand with a shipping agent that deals primarily with owner - operators though before they do that they plan to spend the first night in the new city though as they sit and eat Trisha looks out over the water watching some of the people there enjoy typical waterborne activity.

With the meal eaten and paid for Adina and Trish make their way back over to the coupe and the truck, Adina parking the truck in the compound whilst Trisha warms up the coupe with its 2.6 inline 4 cylinder engine and big bore pipes. Before reversing into the parking area Adina takes care to fold back the mirrors of other vehicles she is about to drive by to ensure that they are clear as she reverses down into the spot before shutting the truck down for the day, then hopefully they will be back in a few hours, probably in the dead of night to hit the road, but first the new house calls and probably introductions to the neighbours if they can be really bothered to be that sociable.

well only time will tell....

D'Aquinos
The 78-year-old man was named Howard Olifiana, who was on a two-week trip in Irvestre. September 1 was the tenth day of Olifiana's trip, and this meant he was preparing to pack up from his temporary residence and head back to his hometown, Vadopolis. As the disorganized unpacked items were laid in the D'Aquinos current home, all of them had changed their clothes before heading to sleep into the Pavonistadian night. The family would sleep sound, but there's no guarantee regarding security in Irvestre. Sadly, there are a lack of police or law enforcement in such towns during the night.

Then a new morning appeared for September 2. The sun colloquially rose from the horizon, and both brightened the vast sky and forced the moon to sink away again. A new day came for the D'Aquinos, and what would it bring to them?

Úlfer
With a line of patient passengers, the immigration officer read over the driver's license and voting card apace as she cleared, "The beard discrepancy is addressed, sir. Thank you." That being said, it didn't take long for her to declare this man clear for entry.

"You are now approved for entrance. Welcome!" the officer proclaimed, which preceded the punching of the hackneyed stamp of approval onto the document. All of Úlfer's documents were promptly returned and at this stage, he was now free to wander around in Pavonistade. He marched towards the appropriate exit from the station as the line moved forward to be processed by the officer.

Yuri
Yuri would be one of those players that are used to elevated humidity.

This meant that he would be decently powerful in Pavonistade. However, there were also those that weren't so honest about the humidity of their origins. As people hoped he wasn't one of them, another wave of incomprehensible voices and blinding camera flashes took over the room. It seemed as if the only people silent were those at the center of the conference (e.g. Yuri) and those spectating (e.g. Jakob). Seconds later, a reporter from the press of Oktosis city managed to snatch a questioning opportunity. As voices died down, the reporter asked, "Besides from the humidity, how is your country like? Is soccer preferable there?"

Pavonistade isn't one of the countries that would go crazy over any sports. In fact, sports - specifically competitive sports - are not that popular in the country, with more favors being put in either other recreational sports or computer and video games (some do involve physical movement).

Trisha and Adina
Trish and Adina had ordered simple sandwiches containing bread and other vegetables, accompanied by warm coffee. While they ate and drank, they were able to the recreation that all those Pavonistadians and tourists had on the beach. From boat-driving to sun tanning, this coastal area was without a doubt active and lively. The lightly-audible undulation of the ocean and the cries of seagulls were heard in the cafe, giving a further insight into this place.

Now that the business in this TropiBean store was done, both eventually moved out of the parking lot and into their planned residence. As they weren't bothered to be sociable at this time, they decided not to introduce themselves to the neighbors for now. It's still up to them, though...

"My country loves soccer, that's why it's the national sport, this year very strong players arrived and left, and playing in a country that is used to humid. Remember, other Estenian regions do not have that much of humidity it's only 75% highest and 55% lowest so you will always see humidity there, but humidity to us is like not having it at all 600+ years we are here, tit did nothing to us., nor our performances, instead, it helps us now."

answered Yuri, saying being serious.

Úlfer

"Thank you very much ma'am" he said as he took his leave from the immigration line and into the main part of the airport. The airport was fairly large and much larger then anything he had seen in his home nation. The International Airport in Insaeldor was far smaller then the one here.

Úlfer walked out thought the airport and out as fast as he could looking to get to his apartment but thought maybe a nice bite to eat would be nice as he had not eaten since he left his home nation. He hailed a cab with his carry on wrapped around his shoulder.

"Know anywhere to get a bit to eat?" He asked the cabbie as he took his seat and set his carry on on his lap. The cabbie simply nodded and drove around and out of the parking area for the airport and through the streets and to a restaurant all within a few minutes. Úlfer payed his fee and got out of the cab and walked into the restaurant still carrying his athletic bag. As he walked in he saw a woman about his age in the restaurant she had what looked to be long brown braided hair and had some sailing clothing on.

He took his seat near her and order his food after quickly glancing over the food choosing a Western Sandwich.

Mikasa decided to give the airport a once-over before heading on the train to the city. Mikasa browsed in some stores, played "I can't speak Pavon" when too many people talked to her and bought a some small things, new headphones and a book to read on the train. Mikasa also got something to eat. There was a pizzeria nearby so she got a slice of pizza (speaking Pavon out of need) and sat alone at a table. She read her book as she ate, finishing eating soon. Mikasa did have to admit that the airport was well built and looked nice, though she'd still like Oblarenite ones a bit more. She then caught a train to get to the city. For a few minutes Mikasa looked out the window. The countryside was beautiful and distracted her for a bit. Soon Mikasa turned to her book and put on her headphones. The person next to her started to speak to her so she was forced to stop reading and listening to her music. She spoke for a few minutes, leaving out personal information and then turned back to her book. Hopefully she wouldn't be disturbed again...

The house
With the car parked finally on the drive Adina and Trisha finally get round to entering the house, once inside Adina kicks the door shut gently with her heel whilst Trish makes her way to the lounge, making sure the removals team had put everything in place and had not damaged anything before picking up the phone to ring around shippers to inform them of availability and offer services whilst Adina checks the (junk) mail left as well as the more important stuff.

On the phone, Trisha has a polite manner for when she is not doing the driving she handles the phone traffic for Adina, thereby allowing Adina to concentrate on the driving, each phone call begins with "Good morning, This is Trisha Yarlet of Logistique Carlyle... " and ends with a polite "Thankyou" after giving out the number. In the kitchen however Adina turns on the laptop and starts to scan the internet, again using it to search for shipping agents that are looking for owner operators emailing company after Shipping agent with identical, professional looking politely worded emails giving a photo of Adina standing by the Diamond Star TerraStar with her trading name of "Logistique Carlyle", the name being there to catch peoples attention in a predominantly English speaking country such as the Aurora Confederacy, though in one area Polish is the local language, and it up to now has been a clever marketing trick and Adina hopes that it will generate some business here in Adopolis, especially with the harbour being just a short drive away.

Chris noticed her odd behavior, but shrugged. This wasn't Vekalse, so he reassured himself. He was sure that this lady did not need to be bothered. He nodded, and said," Uhm...Sorry." His heavy Spanish-like accent was sure to prevent an understanding, but he felt better saying this. He turned, and walked away from the woman. He had wanted to know where the Underground Subway was, but he had had no luck. Chris sighed, the air was very comfortable. He turned, and waited with a group of people, who seemed to be waiting for the cars. Then, Chris noticed how horrible the traffic was. He was amazed--so many cars; it was nothing Chris imagined he would ever see. The sun glittered off the buildings surrounding him, which made Chris smile. He heard a loud horn, and then noticed the cars had been waiting. He ran onto the cross-walk-like-thing, and caught up with the group of people who had been waiting. When he arrived at the other side of the road, he stopped someone else. Their facial features shocked Chris, for this person looked very similar to a Vekalsean. He decided to speak Vekal, which was a risk in itself.

Cecilia thanked the janitor, before looking towards the receptionist. He was sleeping over the counter, but still managed to look quite professional. She at first considered the idea of leaving her suitcase in the lobby and visit the neighbouring streets, maybe buying some food. However, the urge to sleep took over everything else, and she approached the counter of information desk. She first tried to wake him up by saying some words in a low voice, to also check how deep was his sleep. The receptionist moved an eyelid, and then slowly lifted his head, opening his eyes while doing so. He looked a bit angry from having to wake up, but no strong reaction like Cecilia expected. Across the lobby, Karlos Bafarles smiled, before going back into his journal. The discussion between Cecilia and the receptionist went quickly, as both shared the same need for sleep. As she walked away to the elevator - she was not feeling like taking the stairs, what she usually like to do, this morning - the middle-aged man went away to find some coffee to drink.

A few seconds later, the elevator doors opened again. Cecilia checked: right floor, apparently. She grabbed her suitcase's handle and searched for apartment 142. She walked past it two times before finally noticing it. She searched for the key in her pocket, only to figure out she dropped it a few metres away. She recovered the key, hoped that it was the right one - she wouldn't even be surprised if the asleep receptionist gave it the wrong one out of inattention - and won her bet. She entered the apartment. From what she could gather from her memory in this advance asleep state, it was conform to what was said. The apartment was quite small, "but large enough for a single woman", modern and the building was close to public transport among others. She glanced at every room quickly, up until finding the bedroom. Satisfied, but more importantly exhausted, she gave up on staying awake and just dropped on the bed. Sleep did not wait a single second.

She woke up around 1:30 PM, according to her phone. She was still a bit tired, but postponed further sleep until later. She glanced at the rooms again, only to feel satisfied again. She took her suitcase from the entrance, and started emptying it on the table. Some clothes, her laptop, a few books and a handful of other minor things. She plugged in the charging cable for her computer, and thanked her brother for finding her a few plugs adapter for Pavonistade, and started to put her belongings there and then. When she was done, she changed clothes for a lighter dress - she wasn't used to hot temperature, having spent most of her life in the relatively cold Sjalhaven - and decided to find some restaurant to eat it. This time, she took the stairs, and passed by the receptionist, now awake. They both smiled seeing each other awake. Outside, Cecilia chose the easy way: she went for a cab and asked for a good restaurant.

James was enjoying his time browsing shops looking with his wife until he started getting dirty looks. Almost all the Pavons they met would look at him with disgust. It was really getting to him. Then, he snapped. As James and Krista were walking toward a food place, a single drop of spit landed on James, another on Krista. "Krista hold the bags." James said. Then he turned to face a middle-aged man and his teenaged son. "Do you people got a problem? Is this how to treat people visiting your country?" The Pavons cursed at him in Pavon and James cursed them back "I speak you're language a-holes." he said in Pavon "I was a soldier for 10 years and I've learned how to speak language after language and how to deal with people like you. I nearly was killed fighting to protect this world from terrorists, this scar and the fact that I have a injured leg prove that. I didn't just watch people die in front of me so I could have some arrogant Pavon and his son spit on me and my wife!" James then waited for their answer.

(Shown are some of the most notable cuisines available)
  • Vertsuave Salad - Ingredients: vertsuave, lettuce, kiwi, mangosteen, strawberry, passion fruit, starfruit, lychee, fruit syrup - costs $5.00
  • Lokimian Salad - Lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, pineapple, vertsuave, salmon, cod, olive oil - $6.00
  • Vertsuave Milkshake - Milk, ice, vertsuave, avocado - $4.00
  • Pavonistadian Shark Fin Soup - Shark fin, shark meat, cilantro, celery, water, salt, pepper - $8.00
  • Coastal Skewer (1 plate contains 5 skewers) - Squid, salmon, cod, mackerel, halibut, clam, seaweed, barbecue sauce - $6.75
  • Western Sandwich - White bread (whole-grain available), partially-molten cheese, lettuce, tomato, ham, bacon, lamb, olive - $5.00
  • Tuna Wonder - White bread (whole-grain available), mayonnaise (margarine available), tuna, corn, salt, pepper - $4.00
  • Central Stew (in small bowl) - Water, beef (or lamb) lettuce, green/yellow/red pepper, carrot, broccoli, Brussels sprout - $7.00
  • Uechi Plate of Beef - Tenderloin steak, beef, fries, tomato, corn, barbecue sauce, salt, pepper - $9.00
  • Vertsuave Ice Cream - Vertsuave, ice, milk, cream, sugar

Agathe cringed at the thought of citrus, avocado, and milk mixed together. If Sanguinia was known for something, it was for it's high class food, and knowing that drinking milk and citrus together was a bad idea for your stomach. However, the skewers looked good, and so did the western sandwitch. She ordered both, along with a kola nut derived drink. All she knew about the Vertsuave was that it was like a grapefruit, so she asked how it tasted.

The D'Aquinos began to unpack. They had a good chunk of the barnhouse to themselves, meaning that while there will be four bedrooms, there were eight bedrooms in their third (one was another house, and the other was a bed and breakfast). From the view of the upper floor, they had a great view over the town and the mountains. This may be where the D'Aquinos lived, but a good portion of their property has been rented out to others. Romeo and his wife lived in the main house on the property, but because it was so vast, lots of buildings have been converted to other uses. For one, they no longer raise cattle like they used to when Protasio and his parents lived there: they still grow food (and of course produce wine), but it is much smaller than before.

Tatiana had to register her children: Liam and Dorothy for classes and have them attend school, leaving Protasio to introduce his daughter, Silvana, to the rest of the extended family who lived there (as well as others who live in rented space, like the guys next door).

Vadopolis, Pavonistade

Meet Ray Lyse. A rocky man, born in the second-largest city of Iglesiantis, Aby. A man who studied geography at the University of Aby. The man who finds Pavonistade to be small yet beautiful and charming, who finds Pavons to be warm and welcoming, is now living in Vadopolis, the largest city of Pavonistade.

Elegant and strong, Ray is unemployed and he still wants to find a job outside Iglesiantis. However, there are too many candidates for any job he wants in Iglesiantis so he decided to leave the country, leaving his whole family apart from him, as the rest of his family is living in Iglesiantis.

Right now, it is six o'clock in Vadopolis. But, suddenly, his mobile phone rang. It is a number he has never heard of.

"Hello?", Ray greets.

"Good morning, my name is Lilyanne Béary for Oxygen and I'm calling you to announce you the new promotion of the new Envy Planèt S, a new smartphone for 259,90 blynes, with an option of paying 25,99 blynes during ten months. Are you interested?", the Oxygen (Iglesian telecommunications giant) services employee Lilyanne asks Ray if he wants the new smartphone.

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I'm going to decline the offer.", Ray answers. "I'm sorry, thanks."

"You're welcome. A good morning to you.", Lilyanne replies.

And as soon as the call is over, he says: "Oh, shit!"

He wook up earlier than expected, because... er, well... he still wants to explore the city by the early morning. After a shower and a breakfast, this unemployed man from Iglesiantis, willing to make up a rock band in Pavonistade, is ready to leave home so he can explore the city by the early morning.

Yuri
They just never seem to stop coming. The reporters threw out every single question they thought of at Yuri, and the cameras went on snapping more and more pictures. This situation simply upheld soccer as dear, and people are starting to see Yuri as a sign of change for this stagnation, perhaps the end of the beginning. A short while resulted in a question from Pavonistade Today, a press based in the Western Pavonistadian capital of Lokimia. Its reporter first asked one of the coaches a question before he went to ask Yuri. For one of the coaches, "What will the North Pavonistadian Soccer League contribute to reduce at least portions of sports apathy in the country?"

The coach paused and ran courses in his mind before responding, "This is indeed something that we have been trying to deal with. The frequency of sports - whether recreational or competitive - is lowering in favor of computer games, video games, and anything that isn't active. While they do bring entertainment, we feel that sports bring even more fun as people would get to experience intensity and, even if they do lose and even if there are conflicts, they would somehow feel this sense of unity and pride in the end. As a matter of fact, we shall be augmenting our Sports For Youth campaign (it's a campaign from 2012 that so far has seen marginal progress) alongside with other sports league. It will aim to host various sports - for us, soccer-related - and fundraising events that we hope will attract more Pavonistadians and reduce this negative sports apathy."

As for Yuri, "The six Pavonistadian states have different official sports. North Pavonistade happens to have soccer as its official sports, but no other states have it as that. Of course there are soccer fans beyond North Pavonistade, so what would be your message to these soccer fans and the other states?"

Úlfer
Úlfer rode in one of the airport's many taxicabs, which was fitted with air-conditioning and sometimes beverages underneath the passengers' leather seats for long trips. What was interesting about the cab is that it barely escaped from a lengthy traffic jam. Looking back, the cabbie and the passenger knew it was onset by an obstructing police cruiser, owned by an overweight police officer about to ticket a parking offender.

"Whew! That was surely close!" the driver exclaimed and let out a short breath of relief. Úlfer ended up in Coast Feast, a restaurant that laid several blocks away from Vadopolis's main ports and coasts, collectively known as Eastern Bay. Before entering the restaurant he paid some Pavoid to the cabbie and, in turn, received a TolouCure Container (it was mandatory for drivers to do so, even if people already have such containers). Deposited inside Coast Feast were marble tiles for both the walls and floor, and the windows allowed diners to glance at parts of the city's ground level. The simple tables were made out of renewable wood. Cutlery (which Úlfer would not need) were wrapped around with white towel, and the beaker cups were made of glass.

The woman besides Úlfer was dressed in an urban fashion, with comfortable classic short-sleeved clothes and jeans on. She was reading her long to-do list on her smartphone. As for the sandwich, it came within minutes of ordering due to its simplicity. Úlfer would be able to enjoy his sandwich.

Mikasa
Mikasa had ordered a slice of Pavonistadian pizza, which harbored various ingredients ranging from medium-sized pepperonis to mozzarella. That slice and the whole pizza it came from were produced by Frederick's Fries, the largest fast-food chain of the country, even though its main delicacy is its fries.

She advanced to purchase a ride aboard a subway train operated under an unattended train operation system (it was Grade of Automation 4), but after the first few stations the train surfaced and the passengers were able to see the outside world. Alongside the towering skyline and verhead power lines of the city were lush trees, grass, and flowering plants taking over eroding tracks from the 19th century. There also came several sizeable ponds and lakes, with some filled with fish and swam by ducks, geese, etc. Old cottages from the past should not be forgotten too.

The person that talked to her was a middle-aged man with a scruffy beard, but otherwise appears to be normal. His aged jacket covered his plain-blue T-shirt and his trousers were lightly worn. He seemed friendly, but at the same time he looked suspicious of wrongdoing.

Trisha and Adina
The team had left everything spotless and undamaged, so both people would not have to worry about what it did. Trisha's manners in phone conversations would be sure to gain itnerest from anyone that she talked to. For the computers, it took some time on the Internet for Adina to locate suitable shipping agents. The agencies were based in coastal Vadopolis due to their obvious purposes, and the duo always have the chance to contact them through phoning. Finally, the intriguing trading name is also capable of attracting notice and, eventually, developing business in this city.

However, it is a truism to state there is already opposition from Pavonistadians. If one was to combine their powers together, it would look somewhat like power from a monopoly. New players like Trisha and Adina would have to be more aggressive in the business world to make significant progress. They do have luck on their side at the early stages, since their new status in Vadopolis would further raise interests to their purposes.

Chris
Note: Chris spoke in Vekal, "Hello, how are you? My name is Chris, where is the subway?" Italics indicate that the language spoken is Vekal.

A middle-aged woman, having just taken the subway earlier, quickly directed Chris to it, "First you walk straight forward and you turn to the left. You will see the large entrance to the subway." While she spoke, she signalled the directions with her arm and hand to make this more understandable. The subway was quite accessible from a plenitude of entrance equipped with conventional stairways and escalators, so it was easy for one to access this massive system.

Chris was ready to get to the subway, but where did he plan to go?

Cecilia
The receptionist went for some TropiBean latte, which was produced thanks to a coffee machine found next to the stairs. The apartment was quite small and might not look that much appealing from the outside, it was actually alright in the inside. The hall does not look glamorous too and the windows were old, but other rooms in the apartment were just as comfortable and relaxing as that of Cecilia's. It simply proved that looks can be deceiving.

Unlike airport cabs, the taxicab that Cecilia decided to ride in was yellow. In fact, most non-airport cabs were colored, painted, or decorated yellow. As she got in, she paid and told the destination to the driver, who had the appearance and accent of a typical Centralian (someone from Central State). The driver, who just so happened to wage a war on his xenophobia, had a stern face and look towards his passenger before he started the cab and headed into the city.

Like so many times before, the cab got stuck in a traffic jam, but this was mild compared to the major ones that appeared before. During this stagnating period, the driver took the chance to talk to Cecilia, "You probably wouldn't believe in this, but I had this part of my mind that hates foreigners and immigrants, and for some reason I just assumed you were one of them. I've been trying to overcome this hatred, but I guess it sticks to me everytime."

"Good tip here: be careful with many Pavonistadians you met or will meet. I don't know how many xenophobic Pavs there are, but the skepticism grown towards most foreigners is growing and the fed' government is really pushing to restrict immigration. It won't be noticed right away, but it can come like a surprise. Just.. good luck out in the real world, okay?"

The cab got out of the traffic jam and speedily stopped at Vinyl Stop, a local restaurant that served delicious meals and drinks. However, little did Cecilia and many other immigrants knew that this restaurant - along with the street it is on - had a history of discrimination against people that didn't look much Pavonistadian (e.g. people with ginger hair [like Cecilia] are prone to discrimination).

James and Krista
The xenophobic (OOC: let's just call them that for now) man and son did back off a little bit, and James was fortunate to have some Pavonistadians on his side. An elderly man stood up with his cane and bellowed out, "You can't just treat people badly because of their looks! This is criminal... and- and you should be ashamed of yourselves!" Another woman slammed her soda onto her table and stood up to confront the xenophobes, responding angrily, "If you are going to be hateful, then go somewhere else. This country no longer accepts hatred. Your acts of hating the others will not get you anywhere in society!"

The verbal conflict was seeing victories for James and his supporters. Overall it lasted for a few minutes before security personnel intervened and forced the xenophobes to leave the airport. "No matter what your sevices are," the man shouted, "you are a stain to our country! Keep to your country, and do not pollute ours with your useless scar and culture!" The son bombarded curses to all the people in James's side.

As peace settled, the old man and the soda woman came to check on the couple. "I'm terribly sorry for that," the old man slowly spoke. The woman had nothing to do but agree, and so did all the others around the food court.

Agathe
'Vertsuaves tastes a little bit like oranges," a waiter told Agathe, "they are sweet and succulent, and they are fairly large too. It's the national fruit of Pavonistade if you wonder."

The waiter was holding a tray of dirty dishes and glassware, so he was not able to take orders. Agathe would need another waiter or waitress to do so, and the good thing was that one was nearby, taking down orders from a family next to her. The music in the restaurant was decent, and there was an overhead television offering news regarding the world. The restaurant's glass allowed her to see a large frenzy out in the streets. Cars, trucks, and buses lined up behind each other while people simply stepped by.

Interesting place it was.

D'Aquinos
Tatiana, Liam, and Dorothy would be able to find the Irvestrian Primary School, which had satisfactory subjects and teachers but lagged behind in recreation (as in playgrounds, etc.) and substitution. The fair-sized school was in a healthy shape, and the structure is occasionally monitored to check for any damages - in almost all of the inspections, there were at least one damage or issue discovered. This is because the school came from nearly a century ago, and the locals have worked to preserve it rather than build a replacement.

The people that lived next door were the Ulieses (one father, one mother, one son, one daughter). This family, which had roots to Lombardian ancestry, was used to rural lives and did not prefer a connected lifestyle like those found in Vadopolis. They always welcomed new people to the town, especially those that could speak Lombardian.

Inside their rented space, everything was simplistic. There was an old television as well as a set of novels from the 19th or 20th century, and dim incandescent light provided luminescence for the space. The bed was a block of wood with two blankets (one to cover bed, one for actual sleeping) and pillows. Perhaps the D'Aquinos would enjoy time with the Ulieses.

Ray
Ray lived inside an apartment, which was rather cheap and decently pleasant. Most of the lightbulbs were incandescent, but some were fluorescent. The kitchen was close to the entrance and was adjacent to the small dining room. The living room had a medium-sized television and small bookshelves with Pavon novels such as Hope (supposedly the megatsunami would be able to hit western Iglesiantis). Finally, the bedroom had a blue twin bed and a window to see the outside world. There was a laptop inside too.

The subway was a good public transportation for any newcomers like Ray to use, so he went out to take the subway. There were free booklets regarding Vadopolis and Pavonistade, so Ray pried some of them from the trays for reading. He stepped into a fully-automated train and paid for a swift ride around the city. As the doors closed by itself and the train gained momentum quickly, a woman sat besides Ray and asked him, "Hello, are you new to this country?"
