In the past month I've had to spend about 95% of my time on this thread responding to SACTO - one if the reasons why I'm simply giving up on them. This topic is meant to be for the IFC. IFC members, can we agree to make this topic IFC only?

Perhaps we could have a discussion/chat thread that's open to everyone and allows for general talking as to both lessen the amount of non-related OOC discussion, and then we can close this thread here to only IFC.

Probably be safer to refer to it as "Conversational" than "chat", lest it be merged into TET

Who left? The only people who I can think of are Feng, who seems to want to become an absolutist Empire, and Brytene, because I couldn't get rid of Inyursta. And we've gained several new members since I came to power.

And despite what you may think, the IFC is a democracy, and I still have the support of a majority. It is simply that a few of my government's policies don't have the support of a majority.

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) I'm a rubbish dictator - I allow people to dissent long after anyone sensible would move the conversation on.

I've also received a few requests to close this thread to people outside the IFC by various people who for one reason or another don't want to publicly state their wishes here. Therefore, this thread is hereby closed to IFC members only (+ IYF, since we can't decide whether he is a member), and official organization-level business.

Shazbotdom, would you like to lead the IFC naval contingent in the upcoming exercises - work out some structure for them?

It's...really a long story. Involving Satanism(THE ATHEISTIC KIND NOT DEMON WORSHIPING ONE!), my ex, debates with her on Christianity and the like, and me eventually coming to believe a lot of her beliefs but still my Christian ones, and also the belief of a possibility of a God through not the Bible, but reason and logic, but also accepting the possibility of him not existing, which I have been told is the literal definition of Agnostic. Yet I still have faith in God through the Bible so...

Using my right as creator of both Inyursta and the Sea of Juarez and therefore the final judge of what is and what isnt internal water, territorial water, landmass, reef, mountain, jungle, etc. I have crafted the following amendment to my map which I may begin incorporating into my other maps at a later time.

Do note the small gray dash in the close-up represents a drawbridge.

Now that the Sea of Juarez would be physically inaccessible to anyone that does not have my own or Cusc's permission to enter; thus it would alleviate any further debate over the issue and allow the IFC to move on to more important, pressing matters.

And I had just finished my post, and drafted a resolution for IFC arbitration! Probably a good idea though: as you so rightly say, on to more important pressing matters.

Although just to clarify, I presume you aren't trying to render the airspace inaccessible either? I'm sure civilian aircraft fly over infrequently - I think the customary limit on territorial airspace is something like 12,000-20,000 feet. Obviously Ausitoria would still contest airspace if the limit is any higher, and of course it's rather impossible to stop an airplane, except by shooting at it.

Oh, and you stole my Alexandria idea. Natural Canals ftw! Welcome to the cool club! If this was Empire Total War you'd be getting a +20 relations bonus now. So, how fast does the tide flow through yours?

Oh, don't make me blush. Of course I try to look after everything in government - I'm a born interventionist. Did I mention that IRL I'm a many-tentacled Hydra? That's why all these time consuming arguments have been so aggravating and I've been swearing at you all like a Victorian gentleman. That is always my problem: I have realms of information about Ausitoria and even now, only about a fifth of it is ever online. I suppose if I give it another year I might get passed the 40% mark.

Well here is the original which I am probably going to end up keeping now that we have established I have the right to determine what is reef, marsh, paramo, jungle, tropical meadowland, deep water, continental shelf, territorial waters, internal waters, ect.
