"The quiet, lovely Transylvanian nation no one even knows about in post-modern times as Recruynia, has just been miraculously cured of a rare weather-induced virus that spawned the zombies as the Red Rain Curse. The Red Rain Curse is a simple explanation: red rain falling mixed with virulent components from the Sahara Desert from certain nations capable of having bio labs with these compounds. One of these bio labs in a distant war that Recruynia wasn't involved in weeks earlier was destroyed during a dust storm. The dust storm carried the particles of such chemicals many miles over to the European continent within Xanestria and dumped a lot of red rain in a short time on all the nation's crypts and graveyards.
The dead had stirred, converted only a small portion of our regional population, but we managed to pull our own courage without killing any of our own fellow compatriots and restored order with a cure of the century. But some of our closest and distant neighbors whether they are friendly or foe to us, wanted to integrate the zombies, and though we could've allowed these corpses to be tolerated for once despite their wanting for higher functioning such as brains, are we expecting continual serenity in bliss, or are we expecting the dead coming to breach our borders and make dinner out of us?
Our regional government reiterated time and time again that our borders never close, to keep the economy flowing through our fellow economic members, but we did manage to divert flights and ships temporarily until we had the situation under control. Now we allow said flights and ships to travel back to our region as if this hasn't happened, we still have our National Guard and plenty of able-bodied doctors willing to assist the refugees who seek temporary shelter and aid. But Z-Day may have its own plans behind the scenes.
