I'm concerned about my Citizens on Z-Day

Postby River Otters » Sun Oct 30, 2022 7:59 pm

What am I supposed to do? I have eighteen million Ottersians, and now half of them are infected; I chose to employ the cure route, yet I can't use it on my citizens. I'm genuinely worried about it, and I don't want to kill them off, as I'm presuming the cure will revert the infected into a survivor. I have a few questions about Z-day if you fellows mind answering them.
  • First, after Z-day, what will happen to the currently infected? Will they die, revert to normal, or something else?
  • Second, if all my citizens are infected, what will happen?
  • Third, is there a method to opt out of it?
What do I do? Do I wait until November, request a Cure Missile from another nation, start killing off the infected, or go the Winchester, grab a pint, and wait for all of this to blow over?

After Z-Day finishes, everything returns back to normal as if nothing ever happened.

Z-Day's basically an April Fools event that got moved to Halloween on subsequent events (hence the Z-Day 11 branding). Nothing you do will affect your "base population".

Researching the cure will automatically cure zombies of your own population, although it will probably be too slow compared to zombification. The death squads are the same in this regard.
