Yeah, they mentioned increased strength, but I have a feeling that this is not all that is going to happen.

I've actually prepared my nation for this all year, with high spending in Education for a cure, and Defense for military power, I am locking my region down with a password to keep infectors out, cure up my people and those in my region will be helping and probably doing the same, and I may do more, we'll see, maybe go region hopping to aid others

Our region, Wysteria, will seek the Cure and work together to clear our region of zombies as fast as possible. Afterwards a few diehards or late to the fight survivors will probably move out to liberate other regions from the undead menace, if time and sanity remains. That's what usually happens.

I'm hoping that the fact that the Halloween Zombie Apocalypse being on a weekend combined with toughening up the zombie side of the game doesn't cause NationStates to implode under the weight of the zombies this time around. I'm not saying that I have a bad feeling about this, but I might have a bad feeling about this. Only one player answering our zombie apocalypse poll chose the answer that they were spending the apocalypse getting drunk, while dressed as a sexy kitty, instead of saving our region. I have a feeling not everyone was being entirely honest about that.

The biggest problem I've had with the zombie apocalypse is how hard it is to get any role-playing done, once the missiles start to fly. At that point game activity becomes a bit frantic for doing much more than the occasional rapidly snapped keyboard retorts (especially if you're coordinating the fight in a region). Only when your region is cleared of zombies do you have time to do any role-playing, at which point you probably have carpal tunnel syndrome and no longer wish to be anywhere near a keyboard.

I don't know, I've never done it, so I will massacre the legions of the damned and declare a Holy Crusade against the Degenerated against them. Cataphracts, Hand-trebuchets, greek fire, ship flamethrowers and Icon-Bearers. Going full Byzantine so to speak.

I'm scared.

My military budget is only 45% of my government expenditure.

Hopefully the copious amounts of firearms and weapons owned by my citizens will compensate.

Take the Dying Light route...cure them. Unless you have a large military then go for exterminate.
