Any deaths caused by civilian panic during the early onset of the outbreak was indeed tragic. Yet with research going into a cure the outbreak will be dealt with. As of now all civilians or otherwise who have had contact with the infected are required to seek immediate medical attention. The cities including the Capital are locked down, and the walls closed to keep the peace as the military patrols them.

The infected are being quarantined in special facilities around the country as refugee camps are opening up for the general public who weren't able to make it to the cities in time.

The capital is currently under a stage of heightened security, but has not been declared under martial law, yet the country's top virologists are being sent in to find a cure.

Washington's Legacy isn't what one would describe as free - spirited in the best of times, but the current situation has left it resembling a fortress. Kansas's reserve soldiers have dug in around the area and cut off all entrance to the city not in current use by the relief task force, and the various grey government headquarters that typically sit quietly throughout the city now stand fortified with the most comprehensive set of antipersonnel armament that could conceivably be set up in a matter of hours. The sky is filled with a vast array of sleek warplanes, either carrying out relief operations in conjunction with the state militia or enforcing the no - fly zone above the citadel alongside the missile sites that have begun to show activity across the area. The private citizens in the city, made up typically of wealthy, influential, and somewhat paranoid folk, remain in their buildings, with the most powerful of them guarded by heavily armed men in nondescript uniforms. In the streets, soldiers and the occasional police sergeant escort those caught outside during the panic to designated shelters and hospitals as calm, reassuring voices come in over the loudspeaker, directing anyone in earshot to report any suspicious activity, to observe standard biological disaster procedures, and to avoid contact with other citizens to limit potential spread of the disease.

The citizens, however are wise and willing to do whatever it takes to rise above this crisis. Most people have been given time off work in order to spend time with their families in these trying times.

The Chostean Capital of Caelondia looked virtually the same, but there were lots of soldiers at the top of all the buildings. Anyway we were struck by several cure missiles, our outbreak has been completely wiped out.

Kirburg and the whole of Heraklea have been purged of the Zed menace. The population has been mobilized maintain the security of the state while the main body of the military is being deployed to kill Zeds abroad.

People are fleeing the capital en mass. Only certain critical buildings are still being held.

The Imperial Capital of Archangel has been completely cleared of the undead, as has the entire Waltch mainland. Efforts are now being made to save the poor souls of the colonies.

Hausmacht is under Martial Law and is completely surrounded by the Special Operations Division of the Strategic Defense Agency. Chancellor Cord Bremer and his senior advisers are at a classified location, and the government remains fully operational. Military operations are being overseen by General Hugo Morrison, the Commandant of Strategic Defense. Citizens within the capital have been ordered to remain indoors until the crisis has been averted. The city is impenetrable, no one allowed in or out and all those infected are to be exterminated and the uninfected will receive the approved vaccination to remain unaffected by the contagion.
