URI is taking action

Postby United Republic of Indiana » Mon Apr 01, 2013 12:51 am

United Republic of Indiana of the region of Aldaria is closing down all boarders. Only people without the illness can come threw. To know that they dont have it we test them with the URI's latest technology. We have people with suits to test them so they are not affected with the virus. We do the same thing at our ship ports and airports. No one with the virus will get into United Republic of Indiana. We will not stop doing this until the virus goes away.

The infection has been contained and is being steadily destroyed by military force. Expect victory soon.

I propose that the Versutian Federation be added to Most Advanced Cure Research (regions >1 billion collective population), as it has a more advanced cure, coupled with a lower infection status, than The Monty Python Region.

It depends on which region you're in, if I'm grasping it correctly. For example, the Versutian Federation developed a cure very quickly, whilst other regions are struggling.

The Union of American Nationalists is an example of how a small region can get shit done.

I locked down the region, and got everyone who was online to get going. Most of us are working on the cure, but two of us are designated to using military force. We are viewing this as a regional struggle for survival and we've adopted a mentality of "Screw the rest of the world, we're gonna look after ourselves". Because of this, I've had to turn down quite a few refugees, but I feel like it was justified because the security of the region is more important. Our progress on the cure is going great, and our armed forces are seeing victories.

If you're in a small region and you want to survive without surrendering your sovereignty to a large region, this is how you do it.
Yes, I'm an American nationalist. But even though I'm an American nationalist, I'm not going to be all in your face about it, and I do not think America is the greatest country in the world. In fact, I don't believe that there even is a greatest country in the world.
I also don't believe that we should go around invading Middle Eastern countries just because "there might be 'WMD's'"

Proof that free healthcare is good

25% of my nation is infected, yet no one has died.
Free healthcare, so free that even zombies need it
:P

OOC: Actually, I'm against totally free healthcare, but who cares now, we have zombies to squander money on!

It really depends on what your region's doing. The zombie apocalypse and which option to choose is very region-specific.
