To Whom It May Concern,

Only hours have passed since the outbreak in Erebon. The majority of the infections are happening in the Slave Farms. We believe it may have transferred from captives of a previous raid on a village in the frontier. Fortunately, our legions have swiftly mobilized and are systematically quarantining, inspecting, and culling the herds. All new slaves are subject to inspection before being introduced to the farms. We have closed our borders and posted armed guards at the main gate. Anyone and anything that gets within bow shot without proper identification is shot on sight. It has also come to my attention that our neighbors have been slow to reacting. Scouts have reported that most of the region is overrun by the plague. We will lend support where we can, but I fear it will not be enough. I believe that soon Eres Ard will be a wasteland filled with the living dead. Once the plague is handled in our own borders, we will release relief troops to our neighbors to restore order.
