I'm looking to take over Michigan and its surrounding states, alongside all of Ontario and possibly BC.

I'll get a post up soon.

What will Li find in the remains of what was formerly one of the United States' most advanced research labs? Is Dess going to have good negotiations with the BoS? How many more tribals will Rick have to execute before he brings stability to the region? Will the visiting Mexican general and his men be unfortunately killed by "tribals".

I might be too dense, but whats with the wolves and mammoths? Like, that makes no sense. Also, How do you get from Washington to Baja? Baja would be, and is a heavily contested piece of land. You are going to have to fight for it, that's why Mexico doesn't own it (I'm drumming up conflict as a mapmaker). It just doesn't add up for me. Is this a reference to Fallout? Just explain to me what the deal is here.

I was one of the three original players. I got to Baja California using an armored car ferry (many of the car ferries are converted catamarans or trimarans which are good platforms to convert into military transports). and sailing ships. Travel by sea. There are still boats. I even built a few of them. It would be much safer in many cases and would allow land grabs in areas which landlocked players cannot reach. Baja California has a large harbor.

The Mammoths and Dire Wolfs are leftovers from a series of experiments that were done in the 2050s where extinct animals were brought back in big farms in the midwest. This was also part of the original thread. http://www.livescience.com/50275-bringi ... h-dna.html Another example. http://phenomena.nationalgeographic.com ... -answered/ One of the things which happens when there are no humans to watch them is the animals from the zoos escape, animals which people experiment on, and the animals which people keep as pets escape creating a very different environment. Combine that with radiation and mutagens and the world becomes very different. Also, most of the greenhouses would empty and there would be a different mix of plants than what was native. The long winter would kill off any that were not hardy enough to survive.

In addition, there is genetic experimentation, people are already splicing in human dna to animals, making fish that glow in the dark, combining spider silk with silkworms. Also, GMO crops would spread everywhere. It would be a very different, possibly dangerous world.

I have ocean access via the Mississippi. Though, haven't focused on that. Been purging and assimilating tribals, and breaking into old world labs.

I think we need Antegria to come back and get that rolling again. Otherwise this thread's as good as dead, what with no one expanding into other areas. (Yet.)
