That will be fine, but i would rather, it gives something as well instead of simply turing them into raging maniacs. Unless you could say, the totem is possessed or the like by the dead spirits of the tribe and that is what turned the Totem into what it is now. It is up to you to do what you want, but Any Artefact like that would have been destroyed instead of simply contained.

Family Name: Grey
Family Logo/Sigil:(Image)
Country of Origin: Ancient Greece (now spread throughout Western Europe)
Family Head: Jonathan Grey, head of the main branch of the family
Notable Members: Rachel Grey (nee Summers), wife of Jonathan; Albert Grey, eldest son of Jonathan; Constantin Grey, head of the second branch of the family- resentful of the control his brother Jonathan has; and a few more that will develop over time
Family Bloodline: Elemental, descended from the phoenix
Family Magic: Elemental- Fire Manipulation
Family History: Having originated in Ancient Greece many centuries ago between the phoenix and an ordinary human, the Grey family has been through a lot over the years. Though not originally called the Grey family, they gained that name while living in 16th Century England, they maintained a mostly pure bloodline throughout and were one of the most influential families of years passed. A conflict between the two major branches of the family raged across many centuries- one mainly resided in France and the other in England, this provided tensions aplenty during the Hundred Years War; eventually after years of bloody combat the English branch won out and the name Grey was taken by the whole family and the French side relegated to serving the English. That was before the Stagnation, the family... well, stagnated during that period and lost many of its major abilities and weakened greatly. Then their power awakened again (and rose like a phoenix, you might say) with Jonathan Grey, the most powerful member of the family for many decades, maybe even centuries, and a very Machiavellian character to boot. Now they focus on consolidating their power and retrieve those that have been stolen from them (they believe)
Notable Magics:

Durendal, eh?
Not very sharp any more, methinks.
On a relevant note, reminds me of when I went to Rocamadour (where that rusty old sword rumoured to be Durendal is), the first holiday I was in southern France. That said, I only went through the area briefly, and it was on the way further south to a certain unusual camp-site in Ariege. Anyway...

Just tell me what I need to do, and I'll do it. Could be a combo item if needs be.

The Seal itself could be Made of the Greater and Lesser keys, each of which controls different sets of entities. And then the only way to Split the Seal into the Keys will be with the Grimoire, which will require certain quirks to use.

That could work. I'd write it up now but I'm way too tired.
