History Of Your Nation:

For thousands of years, the Tagali Federation has reigned with a firm yet fair hand in its corner of the galaxy. The Federation was formed out of a need for survival by a group of fledging species, uniting their numbers and territory into one to defend against the hordes of larger nations around them. Since then, the small collection of species has grown to become a galactic powerhouse made up of 21 species, finding strength in their unity.
While the Federation is stable and united under one banner, that does not mean that the Federation is the same throughout. Many species still retain their own cultures, although adapted to be apart of the Federation. The Yatkashin keep to their nomadic roots, the Scra'Shn are still pirates at heart, and the Taani use their pacifist ways to temper the emotions and irrationality of the other species at times. There are three regions in the Federation, the Core Region, the Outer Rim Region, and the Frontier Region.

The Core Region is the heartland of the Federation, bountiful in prosperity and peace. The Outer Rim Region is the conquered ruins of the mighty Khyrsian Confederacy, the nation responsible for causing the Founding Federation races to band together. These worlds were once prosperous shangri la's. Now they're polluted slums, shadows of their former selves. The Frontier is the ever expanding side of the Federation. IT is here that new worlds are terraformed and settled, along with new species being added to the Federation collective.

Every species included offers something new to the Federation, granting them their technological prowess in many fields. They have had thousands of years to not become the best at a single thing, but to do rather well in a variety of fields. While the Tagali Federation believes in treating all as equals due to its Taani and to a lesser extent Tagali influence, they are also staunch expansionists. It is commonly believed in the Federation that bringing all under one roof will bring peace and stability to the Galaxy.

Military Information: The Federation Military relies on the skills an assets of the various species of the Federation. With each species bringing something to the table, the Federation can prepare for a wide range of scenarios. The Federation mostly relies on it's space forces to win wars. The Navy relies on speed and firepower to overwhelm their enemies. The Navy's main priority to annihilate all enemy space forces in a system, followed by destroying any and all planet side off planet transportation and their ability to repair. This allows the Federation to completely by pass major planetside strongholds and keeps civilian casualties relatively low, along with keeping the Federation from getting bogged down and able to continue the offensive.

Sometimes, however, systems need to be occupied to maintain supply lines or the enemy manages to launch an assault on a Federation planet. For these times, the army is called in. For offensive operations, an invasion is usually started by Marines and Rangers dropping down on the planet, securing a landing zone for heavier troops and vehicles.

Both branches also make use of Mecha Units. Both Walkers and Battle Suits are used to assist or even lead assaults in both space and planetside. The Federation makes use of a lot of different vehicles, from standard terrestrial vehicles to hover tanks. The same goes for their weaponry, with the most common being plasma and Mass Accelerator Weaponry along with Anti Matter Weaponry entering the prototype phases.
