In 204X the Omnic crisis threatened humanity and Overwatch was formed out of the best soldiers and warriors humanity had to offer. As the world teetered on the brink of anarchy, a new hope arose. An elite international taskforce charged with ending the war, and restoring liberty to all nations. Overwatch. Soldiers. Scientists. Adventurers. Oddities. Guardians who secured global peace for a generation. Under its steadfast protection, the world recovered. And today, though its watch has ended, its soaring ideals of freedom and equality will never be forgotten.

Now it's 2076. Tensions between humans and omnics are high and Overwatch has been deemed illegal. Talon continues to incite war, and they must be stopped before war is started once again. That's where you come in. The world needs heroes.

Alright! Welcome to Overwatch! The RP draws from the lore, but is not law. If needed we'll bend it for the sake of fun. As for you, you're here to save the world. Whether the people want you to or not. You're a highly skilled, powerful, or otherwise considered to be one of the most dangerous people on Earth. The RP is sandbox and as such you're free to do as you please. Within reason. You'll be playing Original Characters and the canon ones will take a backseat or be involved in player made plots if wanted/needed.

I'm not going to be that much of a stickler about powers and weapons. We're not in the game, so game mechanics will be put aside for rule of fun. More like the cinematics. Rule of Cool and Fun. Which means that even if you can't play as the character you want, you can make a very similar character to them.

Appearance: Tristan wears a heavily modified form of the Crusader armour worn by his hero and role-model, Reinhardt Wilhelm. While Reinhardt's armour is heavy and designed for heavy close combat, the Squire model is designed for supporting and elegant melee combat. It is composed of many interlocking white painted enameled plates, moving fluidly around one another as Galahad moves. His helmet is shaped like a medieval great-helm, painted with rings of purple and white, covering his entire face. He stands at six foot six outside the armour, and seven foot two in it, with his frame made considerably more solid and broad by the pauldrons of the armour, designed to allow for charging. The Squire armour specifically integrates three central add-ons. The first is the Grail Unit, a tool designed by the Vishkar corporation to produce similar effects to the musical healing aura of Lucio, with the modified factor of producing amplified versions of the words spoken by Tristan, who often sings catechisms as he fights, or to simply play very resonant hymns, having the effect or making his allies more resilient, instilling in them a resolve to allow them to ignore some damage taken.

The second is the modification of the charging thruster used in Crusader armour. As the Squire armour is substantially smaller, the small jet is used to launch the wearer far and high, acting similarly to a powerful burst jet-pack. For the sake of aesthetics, Galahad wears a facade of angelic wings over the thruster, enhancing his angelic visage. Third, and finally, is the Flame-Lance. The hammer, considered a staple of the crusader armour, was retired for the squire models, and replaced with a multi purpose long-blade, capable of unfolding into a more piercing lance. The blade bears a small field of flame, igniting flesh and metal as it strikes, or at least flashing sparks upon metal.

Real Name: Jaime Madrazo

Occupation: Guerrilla fighter against the Vishka Corporation

Base of Operations: Currently operates out of an abandoned military outpost in El Paso Texas

Affiliation: Previously Overwatch and Vishkar.

Backstory: Jaime was born in El Paso Texas in 2037. Being merely a child and horrified by the events of the omnic war. While it never reached his home state, by the time he was of age to actually join in the fighting, the war was over. Which to a slight sigh of relief to both him and his parents. Instead of helping with the war effort Jaime wanted to help with the relief effort in anyway he could. He had some incredible engineering skills and Overwatch took him in. He proved to be well versed in making stuff much harder to break. Unfortunately Overwatch had much strife going on with the U"N and was disbanded shortly after. He shrugged it off and instead started working for the Vishkar Corporation and spent many of his glory years learning all sorts of new secrets to machinery.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Vishkar had purchased Jaime's home town without his knowledged and went home one day to find his house demolished. He was supposed to get a memo about it, but never did. It wouldn't have been so bad has his dog not been in the house when it was brought down. Someone with careful hearing could have probably heard the snap that was the innocent and caring person that Jaime was. He believed that he was helping people. That's what he wanted to do with his life. But now, all he wanted to do was bring down Vishkar. A task much easier said than done. But Jaime wasn't stupid and unlucky in his efforts. There was an abandoned military factory not too far outside of his home town. Still filled to the brim with older hardware and rations, enough to last for years.

Jaime was a brilliant engineer, and with the power of the internet, home made exercise equipment, and hatred, Jaime trained his body from the average Joe into a much, much more athletic man. In between workout days, he worked on an old, bulky suit of power armor both as a hobby and to keep his mind sharp. Streamlining the design making superior to what it used to be. Much more form fitting, less weight, stronger hydraulic systems, and several personal touches including an electronic HUD and one way, bulletproof glass for the helmet. This all took years and by then Jaime had cooled off so that he retained his much more calm and affable demeanor, but still loathing Vishkar with unholy intensity.

Role: DPS, Tanking

Weapon(s) Power, abilities: Custom Made Power Armor: Jaime's armor was build by him out of old parts he found in the military base he uses as his F.O.B. Quite durable and grants greatly enhanced strength.

Modified Gatling Gun: Jaime's weapon of choice. While too heavy to be carried by the average human, it's perfectly lightweight thanks to his armor. Capable of spewing 2000 rounds a minute.

Double Jump: Jaime has built in mini-thrusters that allow him to quick change direction mid air.

Ultimate Ability: Feel the HEAT: "I'm gonna scrape you off the walls!" Jaime swaps out the normal ammo of his gatling gun for High Explosive Anti-Tank rounds. A full magazine is capable of decimating a city block.

Weaknesses: His weapon is only effective at short to medium ranges, leaving him vulnerable to snipers. With no ability to heal himself, he relies on support to help him in a fight. Even with his double jump, he's not very quick.

Backstory: A child of a wealthy family whom was slated from the early stages of her life to be a prodigy. Already a master at chess at age 10, she found the intellectual challenges of her life woefully insufficient Her genius was noted by a shady corporation whom offered her ways to becoming even more intelligent. Her parents gladly agreed, and so she was sent to a lab where experiments were conducted, before she was given a consistent cocktail of mind altering drugs and an education in war, tactics and the science of ballistics and missiles. She managed to escape by stealing the experimental "War-Chair" which contains the "Paddington" Omnic system. Unfortunately though her growth and maturity was somewhat stunted by the experimentation. This has created an extremely intelligent yet somewhat childish woman, in addition to looking much younger.

Role: Alice is a long range damage dealer, her missles and long range artillery meaning she can bypass obstacles and cover. She deals best with slower targets, and has weapons which can help slow down targets too.

Weapon(s) Power, abilities:
(Default attack): Pulse Cannons: These two weapons fire one after another, launching two slow moving shells. These shells explode and deal damage over an area. The shells curve so that they go over the targets heads,

Hover Chair: The hover chair has an inbuilt energy sheild which keeps her from damage, yet moves at a slow speed. it also allows her to traverse vertically.

Stasis Missiles: These missiles are fired over a large area, and release an electrical signal not unlike a tazer in the area which they encircle when hit. Targets inside the area are stunned briefly.

"Tactical Retreat": Alice and her chair speed backwards and leave a mine which triggers a large explosion when enemies move over it.

Ultimate Ability: "Pound them to dust": Overclocks the fire rate of her massive pulse cannons, firing a deluge of shells into one area at high speeds, effectively allowing her to either shell a large area or do lots of damage to a single target.

Weaknesses: Alice and her chair are a big and slow moving target, despite the energy sheild. In addition, despite her escape abilities she doesn't have anything to deal with short range targets.

Showing great intelligence, Kehaulani breezed through elementary and middle school. In her freshman year of high school, the class took a field trip to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and at Halemaumau crater, something miraculous happened. Kehaulani was chosen by the goddess Pele to be her chosen warrior on Earth. Gifted by the Goddess, she was given control over fire and weapons of old. Upon awakening, she found herself in a hospital, before she exploded with power, her body encased in a suit of volcanic rock. Kehaulani has attempted to keep her super identity a secret while completing high school and College, but never hesitated to help those in need.

Backstory: Anton was born in Bucharest, Romania to a poor family. When he was 1, his parents were killed in the Omnic crisis leaving him under the care of his grandparents who lived in New York City. Growing up Anton was considered a juvenile delinquent and often got in trouble with the local police. When Anton was 15, he was sent to juvenile hall for 5 years for robbing a department store. While in prison he met a fellow delinquent named Egon, and quickly befriended him. After they got out of jail Anton and Egon joined a criminal organization called the Romanian Mafia, a start-up crew of about 50 Romanian immigrants.
During Anton's second year in the mob, He was ordered to kill Egon and two other gangsters because they stole a briefcase of money during a heist gone wrong. After tracking down and killing the two other gangsters, Anton cornered Egon in his apartment and beat him within a inch of his life. After beating up his former best friend, Anton snapped Egon's neck, killing him instantly. After killing Egon, Anton became the Romanian Mafia's hitman and spent the next ten years killing targets by snapping their necks, earning him the nickname Neck-Breaker. On Anton's 11th year with the mob, the police did a massive sting, which caused the arrest of every member of the Romanian Mob except for Anton. Anton then decided to hire out his services to private clients and continued his lucrative job as a Hitman. He is currently hiding out in NYC.

Role: Flanker.

Weapons Power, Abilities: Steiner Brother Assault Rifle.
Durability: Anton recently had a underworld doctor outfit him with a durable exo-skeleton, which allows him to survive things that would normally kill a normal human being.
Temporary Invisibility: After a recent hit in Japan, Anton received a cloaking device that allows him to temporarily invisible.

  • Silent Death: Silence's rifle can reach target from a long distance. Most of her victims didn't even her the shot of death.
  • Oblivion Rounds: A special ammo given to her by her employers, the bullets are actually small syringe that inject paralyzing poison and caused a short-term memory loss for a few seconds.
  • Thermite Grenades: Just in case when volatile methods are needed. Silence launched a fiery grenade that, while might not be enough to effectively hurts her enemies, is able to meld some parts of their armour and helps her allies deal more damages. Explode in a small area of effect.
  • Barrier Shield: When she gets too close with dangers, she protect herself by summoning her hard light shield. The shield only covers from one side and very frail.

Ultimate Ability: Silence: "Ssshhh" A special shell made only for her by a 'fan' from the Blackwatch. The loud explosion not only produced an EMP that disables the electronics within its range, but also spread a menacing fumes that effectively slows anyone that unlucky enough to breath it for a second, leaving her with the only true friend she has: silence.

Weaknesses: She had no escape mechanism other than her ult, and her shield can be shattered by a single blast. Others with the same level of marksmanship with her might also beat her in her own game, although she hasn't lose a duel since she first become Silence.

Yeah, he doesn't seem like a tank. He's not huge like Roadhog. Doesn't have power armor like Reinhardt or a Mech like D.va. Seems more like an Offensive Flanker like Reaper.
