Video games are good, table top is fun but slow for my taste. Lore is amazing and infuriating all at the same time. #DeathkorpsofKrieg, #Vraks.

Lore is awesome, video games are a mixed bag (SPEHSS MUHRINES! TODAH WE DIE IN GLORAH!), the game is broken as fuck and the memes are top-quality.

And, since Bard hasn't been on for a few days now, I'm going to assume temporary co-OPness and say that Felicia, Volun and Lucyan are accepted, so you three can get on with everything.

Yes, but who wants to play the game itself anymore? You pay waaay too much for waaay too little and then end up facing Taudar and having your force wiped off the board in two turns. The only way I've managed to get an enjoyable game is by straight-up banning 7th ed.

It is ok, it is an entrance point for those who have strayed from the emperors light and must once again be brought back into the Imperial fold. Besides, most people can afford to play the video games because GW makes anything cost the souls of a dozen psykers and for very fluffy models like the Death Korps you must give your first born Primarch to them. Then again there is something nice about having 80 heavy weapons teams.

Unless you're playing Chaos Space Marines Orks, Taudar shouldn't be much of a problem considering the list will likely be unbound. Meanwhile a Space Marine army using their decurion Formations will seize all the objectives, which is what actually matters. Or you can simply play 1,000pt games or lower, such as Kill-Team which is dirt cheap to get into. 40k is only terribly expensive because people have this stupid obsession with playing Epic-Scale games with a Skirmish system.

Then don't buy a 2,000 or 3,000 point army.

But I do play CSM...they're one of the fluffiest armies around and your guys can turn into a Spawn. Which is hilarious.

I like this little dynamic Furinax and Rhynacus have. An insulting hedonist who never stops talking, and the impatient war machine who wants to rip his throat out. Fun.

Not yet: I doubt there's been time for anything of that size to reach Hylose. Plus the largest we've got a present is a Predator.

And I specifically avoiding mounting a twin linked lascannon or plasma cannon on the predator to avoid being OP, a Knight is a completely OOC threat that requires shit like multiple squads with grav cannons or Leman Russ Vanquishers to drop at minimum.

Although my app isn't approved yet either.

Would there be room for a person or two from the Officio Assassinorum? I have come up with a reason why they would be on Hylose (I'm assuming that the Chaos Space Marines showed up on Hylose in part via some Warp-related wankery, as they often do, so the idea was that my characters were headed somewhere else via warp travel, something something warp interference, crash-landing...you get the idea.)

Alternatively, I might also bring in an Imperial Guard Ogryn or something, primarily for the lulz.
The Imperium of Man is a vast, stagnant, rotting, theocratic autocracy fueled by ignorance and xenophobia that persists on despite the machinations of innumerable xenos and traitors. Steeped in superstition and fear, and sprawled across countless millions of worlds, the Imperium remains afloat through the sheer size of its population and by the efforts of its valiant heroes who struggle to halt its slow, inevitable decline.
It is mankind's last hope in a cold, uncaring cosmos.
Literally just the Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40,000.
They're really, really xenophobic medieval Catholics in space. FT/FFT. Sometimes 30K.

Ahh, Ogryns. A giant wielding a nigh indestructible result of a MK-40 and a AA-12.

Just go ahead and post anyway. The app's not broken (well, other than being a Space Marine) and Bard hasn't been on for a few days.

If you could justify the Assassin, fine. If not, an Ogryn would be fine as well.

I thought they just used their gun as a club? After all, could an Ogryn actually hold a knife the right way around?

It is more of a bayonet on the front of the gun. I think Fallout 4 ripped off the idea from them with the minigun with shredder upgrade.

Ogryns get bayonets?

Actually, that does kinda make sense...there are times when you need to bayonet 'Nids...
