"You have been saved from a disaster," the voice informed, "all the worlds have fallen apart. I have taken pieces that remain and designed a new world, which you will entertain me by surviving and killing one another in my own personal Arena."

Daenerys looked upsettingly at the portals. The whole place, it reeked of blood magic or some other devilry. Where was her city? Her people? Her...

"Where are my dragons?! I command you to release me!"

There was no answer. Nothing made sense. Daenerys walked towards the light of the portals and carefully examined each one. If this was a dream, a nightmare of some sorts as it started to seem, she might as well play along. Selecting the mountains, a whisk of light took the Essosian Queen away.

Mountains

Climbing in a dress wasn't easy, but that's what she needed to do. Daenerys reasoned she had been through worse and immediately set herself on a course for the summit. From the top of this land, spotting trouble or her dragons would be easier. She was used to people trying to kill her, but at least before she had an army behind her.

Zeus, King of the Gods

Zeus listened as a voice boomed across the area, announcing the destruction of his universe and the imminent death of all the unnamed voice had chosen to participate in these "Multiverse Hunger Games". The voice was unrecognizable, but Zeus had little doubt who was behind it. There were only two logical explanations. Either his elder brother, Hades, had somehow furthered his powers significantly and had somehow orchestrated this event, or the Titans had rose once more. Either way, Zeus would find out whom was responsible, and when the time came, he would unleash the entirety of his divine might upon the bastards. At least, that was what Zeus thought. However, for now, Zeus had little choice but to play along with this little game.

Zeus observed the portals, thinking about which one he should select. Plains, mountains, island, and jungle. Sensing the presence of his brother, Poseidon, Zeus new that the island realm would soon find itself under the Sea Gods dominion, and for good reason. An island would be at Poseidon's absolute mercy, for Zeus's elder brother could sweep a wave over the rock with but a thought. As far as Zeus was concerned though, Poseidon could have the island. Zeus had another destination. The mountains. Clutching his lightning bolt, Zeus stepped through the portal, ready for what was to come.

Zeus observed his surroundings. There was no one in his immediate proximity, though he knew that the zone was not devoid of other beings. What to do next was what was on Zeus's mind. The decision came instantly for their was only one place fit for the King of the Gods. The peak of the mountain would be where Zeus would stand, for as soon as he decided, he vanished into thin air, only to appear upon the mountain top within a second. He quickly looked over the mountain top, ready to deal with any threats that may have been present. There was no threat, however, so he simply stood. Others would likely climb to the peak, for it was the greatest point from which to observe ones surroundings. However, Zeus knew that if he was seen, they may not stay. Taking the form of an eagle, Zeus began to circle the peak, waiting for others to reach the mountain top. As he circled, he saw others. One was a young woman, still no more than a girl, making her way to the peak of the mountain, as Zeus had expected. She was dressed in attire fitting for one of noble birth, so he was interested as too what her part in this was. She didn't appear to be a great warrior, so he saw little reasoning behind her presence at these "games" given their stated purpose. He also saw a man dressed in red, with a visor covering his eyes, while speaking too a soldier. Zeus would be sure to introduce himself to all present, but not know. For now, he simply waited for the girl to ascend to the peak of the mountain, so he could observe her and if he deemed it worthwhile, reveal his presence to her.

The funeral for Mami was quick, and. Rumplestiltskin agreed to keep watch while the others rested. Nothing eventful happened during the night.
Dark Corridor
It was the time for the second wave to enter the arena. The Voice announced, "Welcome to the Multiverse Hunger Games. Long story short, you're universe is dead, and I have taken the pieces of what is left and created a new one, where you will all die gloriously in my honor. Pick any of the four zones and have fun." The portals glowed an eerie red color this time.

Ben 23

"You mean, Bellwood is gone?" asked Ben 23, the most famous hero of Dimension 23 in the Ben 10 multiverse. "And Azmuth and Tetrax and SevenSeven?? And what am I going to do without the cameras?" He looked up. "I choose the forest." Then he went up to the portal and went through.

Green Arrow

Despite Rumplestiltskin's constant reminders that he doesn't need sleep, Oliver still stayed on watch for a majority of the night. The girls may have done a good job at giving the trickster that short end of the stick, but he was still not to be trusted in Oliver's book. He's dealt with magic before, dark forces that he never wanted to deal with again. As the night progressed uneventfully, he decided to lay down in the grass and drift into sleep.

Only to be dragged into a nightmare.

He was still on the ground, but somewhere else; in a forest. The sounds of a fire could be heard.

No. Oliver thought. I don't want to relive this again.

In front of him, both with their hands and legs tied, were his sister and mother, Thea and Moira, and behind them was Slade.

"Make you're decision, Oliver" He drew his sword, constantly shifting between pointing it at Thea and Moira. "Who lives, and who dies" Oliver couldn't say a word, he already knew how this was going to end. He closed his eyes and waited for the nightmare to end. He heard his mother move forward and tell Slade that she wanted both of her children to live, and Slade tell her that she had true courage, and that it unfortunately wasn't passed on to her som before he stabbed her through the chest.

Oliver woke back up in a cold sweat, the moon only a few hours away from setting. For those few hours, he went back to staying on watch. If his entire universe was dead, he wanted to at least honor their memory.

The next morning, after all of the girls had woken up, Oliver went over to them and said, "Today, we should find a source of food, water, and shelter, if we're being confined to this zone"

Deathstroke

Slade looked down at his sword. It didn't look or feel any different, but he took the Voice's word for it that it could harm the most powerful being here; some bloke named Goku. Luckily for him, this Goku was in the plains, so it was only a matter of finding him.

Even more luckily, someone just happened to fly right past him.

I take that he is this Goku? Slade thought as he ran in the Saiyan's direction.

"With food, naturally, being the most important," Kyoko said, tossing her Soul Gem in a nonchalant manner. She hadn't yet changed into her magical girl form, and so the Gem was currently shaped like an egg.

"Kyoko!" Sayaka shouted, snatching the Gem out of the air. "Don't throw yourself around like that!"

"Sayaka," Kyoko mimicked, "I always catch myself anyway. Superior reflexes, y'know? Magically enhanced. Besides. It's a jewel, it's not like it's going to break if I drop it."

"You can't take that risk, Kyoko," Sayaka retorted angrily. "We've already lost Mami. I'm not--I'm not going to lose you too! Or anyone else," she added hastily.

"Aww, Blue, you do care. Don't wanna lose your best friend, do ya?"

"No, I don't want to lose Madoka," Sayaka said, and Kyoko's eyes widened.

"Hey! You like Pigtails better than me? Ohhh, I'll never share food with you again!" She bolted after Sayaka, who giggled and dodged away.

Madoka just sighed.

"Sayaka. Kyoko. We don't have time for playing around," Homura said coldly. "Mr. Queen is right. Puella Magi or not, we still need to find the basics of survival. We might be able to go on without them, but you know our bodies can't survive without food or water."

"Least we don't need shelter," Kyoko muttered, halting her pursuit of Sayaka. "Do you have to ruin everything? Geez, it's like you're a freaking robot sometimes. Don't you care about anything?"

"Of course I do," Homura said quietly, and turned away.

Alexander nodded, thinking back to his days in Stalingrad. The Germans didn't have any honor, they broke the treaty and invaded the motherland. They turned Stalingrad into hell itself. He had no reason to trust this cyclops, it could all be a ploy to stab him in the back. "The Germans betrayed us, killed thousand's of my comrades and left my homeland in ruins, i hope you have more honor than they do. There will be others, those who seek to kill us for the gods amusement. Whether you join me or not is up to you, but i don't intend on dying in this hellish land." He turned, walking over to a small path leading up one of the mountains, turning as to ask the man to decide. "I have a feeling you won't make a very good spotter, go off and do what you like. Try to find another competitor. I'll keep you covered, try not to get yourself killed, American." With that he disappeared up the mountain path, seeking a position from which he could hunt.

Mountain Zone
Cyclops winced at the word of honor. His mind flashed to the scene where he killed Charles Xavier during his time as the Pheonix Force Avatar. And he tried making up for it. Instead of that joke that Wolverine and Kitty Pryde called the Jean Grey School, he created another school in the very place no one else would look: the Project X Facility, where Wolverine was created. Cyclops turned, and his ally was gone. He looked behind him and a woman was ascending the mountain. Cyclops shouted, "Wait, don't shoot her, Alexander! She isn't intently hostile!"
Plains Zone
"Morning, Dearies!" exclaimed Rumplestiltskin, appearing behind Oliver, "I agree with him. We should find the best cover available for you. We should also find some sort of way to discover your opponents in these areas and discover their weaknesses. If you want to survive, I'd suggest taking some kind of lake or water source, and prevent your opponents from using it."

The sudden appearance of Rumplestitskin didn't startle Oliver but vex him. What bothered him more was the suggestion that they find the other people here and their respective weaknesses.

"When we find him, the only person that we'll be killing is Slade" Oliver said as he turned around. "If we can find a clean water source, I know how to fish, so we can just survive until they find us. If we're in the open, we might be easily spotted, but so can anyone who tries to attack us"

Oliver stepped forward and knelt down, peering into the horizon. He could still hunt if there were any wildlife here, but he would've preferred the jungle if Slade hadn't led him here. As he scanned over the endless flat plain, he caught a glimpse of light reflecting at the edge of his vision, a clear sign of a water source, if not some kind of landmark. "If we keep going this way, it looks like we'll find some kind of water source. Let's keep moving"

Butterfly Punchlord resting place was well equipped by now, having made a bare bone hut and a bonfire in the centre with some provisions nearby; however, what stood out the most was what seemed to be a coiled sword in the center of the bonfire, rough looking and made from wood.
Butterfly Punchlord went away to search for someone to kill, he needed the soul of someone great.

Upon arriving in the Forest Zone, Ben 23 saw smoke coming from the top of the trees. "Either someone is having a campfire or there is a forest fire," he said to himself. He dialed up his Hero Watch to Speedyquick and pressed down. There was a flash of light and Ben changed into the alien. "Time for Speedyquick to make a mad dash towards that campfire. Maybe I can score big." Unbeknownst to him, that was where Ben 10 had set up camp as Heatblast.

Mountains:

Daenerys continued up the side of the ridge, an eagle soared above her, almost as if It was waiting for something. She ignored it and continued her trek to the summit. It wasn't too much further and she'd reach it.

"Wait, don't shoot her, Alexander! She isn't intently hostile!"

The mother of dragons slipped a little against the rock face as someone yelled from far behind. How did I miss them before?! There were two men, funnily dressed, watching her. One carried a stick or bludgeon or odd spear of sorts. Daenerys didn't know them and certainly didn't trust them, but there was little they could do from such a range she figured. Arrows couldn't fly far enough from their position to harm her. They'd have a distance to cut before they could catch her, a distance she hastily aimed to increase as she ran for the peak.

And why does she look like that Dragon Lady from Game of Thrones?" He climbed after her, intent on allying with her. "Is your name Queen Daenerys?" he shouted.

"Let her die?" Oliver stopped in his tracks right in front of Rumplestitskin. His tone was surprisingly calm and soft, but cold and piercing. "The only one responsible for her death is Slade, and Slade alone. He could kill you as easily as he did her" He paused for a moment as he realized what he had said, how insensitive it sounded to the rest of the girls, who lost a friend- no, a sister yesterday.

"Now, if you want to play mind games and get inside of my head, I'll let you now that I've spent fives years in Hell itself. I've been tortured, starved, and have stared into the face of death far too many times. I'm all too partial with your kind of dark magic. You may have made the deal, but I'm the best chance you all have at survival" Oliver stared at Rumple for a moment, then turned and kept on walking.

Alexander heard his newfound ally yell, just in time to stop him. He had managed to arrange the woman's heart in his scope, he had just began to squeeze the trigger when Cyclops called out. He sighed as the girl turned and looked, obviously seeing him and Cyclops. He wasn't too high up, and peaked out from his hiding spot. "How do you know that! For all we know she could shoot lightning from her eyes!" His voice was one of annoyance, rather than anger. Knowing he was exposed by Cyclops shouting, the sniper descended, from the rock he had climbed. "We might as well get going, you just exposed us to anyone within earshot. If we were in Stalingrad you'd have killed us both." He slung the weapon over his shoulder, looking at cyclops as though he were a commissar, an officer.

Lucky Luke's first reaction was surprise, or shock. He wasn't exactly sure on what. One moment he'd been riding off in the sunset, and in the next everything was suddenly gone. Gone forever, as an omnipresent voice expressed it. Where did it come from? Where was his horse, Jolly Jumper? And that dog? Luke looked around, but they were nowhere to be seen.

Well, there could only be one explanation. He must've hit his head somehow, fallen unconscious, and now he was dreaming. Yep, that must be it. He looked at the available options again and chose the one he felt the most comfortable with: The Plains.

Plains Zone
What Oliver didn't know was that only one thing could kill Rumplestiltskin, and Deathstroke didn't have it. He shook his head. "Do you know how many people have tried to kill me, Dearie? More than you can count. Do you know how many have succeeded in killing me? None." He added, "Suit yourselves, Dearies, but once my deal has reached it's conclusion, I'm only looking out for myself. Because unless there's some kind of advantage, when it's between me and everyone else, me always wins."
Mountain Zone
Cyclops could not believe what he heard. "She couldn't have hurt either one of us if she tried," he scowled in reply. "I imagine she's unarmed, especially because she ran from us. If she had a weapon, she would possibly stand her ground."

"Stop it!" Sayaka practically screamed. "Stop fighting! And stop talking about Mami like that! She was a good person! All she ever wanted to do was help people! And you're talking about her like she's only important because she died! And if she were still here--she'd be telling you the same thing I am! Stop fighting or you're going to start actually trying to kill each other, and then you'll be no better than that jerk who killed Mami! You'll be no better than a witch! Stop it, stop it, stop it!"

"Sayaka..." Madoka whispered in horror. Looking at the C-shaped Soul Gem on her friend's stomach, she could see that blackness was beginning to creep in around the edges.

Oh, no... Kyoko thought, tightening her grip on her spear. Why didn't I bring any Grief Seeds with me?

Homura's eyes widened slightly. Again? I've fought this witch too many times. Oktavia...

The image flashed through her mind.

"Sayaka, please stop! I know you never wanted to hurt anyone!" Madoka pleaded desperately while dodging the large wheels. They must have been twice her size.

The great armored mermaid-like creature watched the girl in pink dashing about, and raised its sword. The music of the musicians in the labyrinth echoed around them. The dancers spun in sync with the tune.

Then time stopped.

Homura dashed in front of Madoka, pulling out a gun and firing one bullet at each of the shields. Then she darted forward and set a bomb in front of Oktavia, setting it to go off.

Darting away, she whispered, "Sorry... Miss Miki..."

Then time resumed its course, and Oktavia von Seckendorff was gone.

A bullet flashed past and shattered Kyoko's Soul Gem. The red eyes went dead, and the girl collapsed, reverting to her normal, slightly disheveled appearance. Yellow ribbons wrapped around Homura, tying her in place.

"M-Miss Tomoe?" she gasped, seeing Mami holding one of her rifles, the girl's face twisted in pain, tears streaming from her eyes as her hands shook.

"If Soul Gems become witches," she gasped, her tone strained with anguish, "then we have no choice but to die! Both me... and you!"

Lifting her gun again, she aimed for Homura's Soul Gem, but a pink arrow of light smashed into her own, and she fell.

The ribbons dissolved, and Homura dashed to Madoka, who had collapsed, sobbing.

"I can't take this anymore!" Madoka wailed, and Homura hugged the girl, crying with her.

It hurt. Being the only one who remembered what had happened on that night was agonizing. The only person who knew how much she had suffered, over and over again, watching her friends fall and die again and again, watching them turn on each other, watching them fall to despair... all to protect Madoka.

She couldn't fail. That wasn't an option.

She'd never let Madoka go.

Elizabeth blinked, surprised by what this ominous voice was telling her. My universe..? ...dead..? The thought appalled her. No...there's no way...all of those people, all of those worlds, all of those Doors...they can't be gone...I-I won't stand for it... Yet, as she searched her mind for such realities, such dimensions, they were gone. Non-existent. Booker... The man whom had helped her out of her tower, freed her...could he really be gone, too? After everything he'd gone through to free her? She shook the thought from her mind, deciding it best if she just moved on. It would probably be best...to go somewhere with high ground... And yet, she'd always loved the thought of going to the beach... No, stay focused...this is serious...you aren't free anymore, not that you ever were...but still... She went through one of the portals, appearing in the mountainous landscape. From there, she started climbing, as difficult as that would be in her clothing choice.

Asuna sighed as she viewed over the portals, thinking about what the voice had said. Yeah, right...like I'd believe that...I'll get out of here just like I did in SAO, no problem...I hope, at least. She began deciding which route might be the best to take, between the plains for coverage or somewhere like the jungle for camouflage and hiding. I guess it doesn't really matter as long as I have my rapier... She stepped through the portal which quickly placed her in the plains, where she took in her surroundings carefully. Anyone could be out to kill her, after all. Then, deciding it might be best to get distance from her entrance point, she started jogging, keeping a hand on the hilt of her sword just in case she would be ambushed or something like that.

In the distance, Luke noticed several other people, dressed in weird clothes. Perhaps a band of travelling actors, or circus workers? He had come across caravans like that before. Something was odd. No wagons, and they all seemed upset. Well, dreams weren't always logical, but Luke figured there still could be at least two logical explanations for what he saw. One: They were rehearsing, and the weagons were further away, or maybe even non-existant due to this being a dream (a lucid one, it appeared, but still...). Two: Their wagons had broke, they were lost and needed help.

The second explanation was the one he thought to be most likely. There was also a third explanation, that they, like him, had been sent here by the voice to fight. He didn't actually believe that, but it had to be taken into consideration. Though if that was the case, then why wasn't the Daltons with them?

Either way, the cowboy continued forward towards them, with peaceful intentions but prepared to defend himself if the need would arise.

"Howdy, ladies and gentlemen! It looks like you're having some troubles... Do you perhaps need a hand?"

The Dark One shook his head, "I made a deal with you that I would help you, Dearies. I intend to keep it. I always keep my end of the deal." At least, until he worked out a loophole to jump through, such as murdering the other party of the deal, like when he promised his second born son to someone in exchange for the medicine his son needed. After hearing the question, "Howdy ladies and gentlemen! . . . Do you perhaps need a hand?", he turned and replied to the cowboy, "Dearie, I don't need any help. If I did, I'd make a deal. The question is whether or not you need help."

Goku could feel an energy behind him and so he landed. "So there are other people around here." He said to himself as he turned around to find Deathstroke. However, he noticed the weapon in his hand and immediately put himself into a fighting stance. "If you plan on killing me, let me just tell you now."

"I don't go down easy."

Luke looked to the man that had addressed him. "... I think I'll manage, thank you very much...", he answered politely, but he couldn't hide the distaste he felt. Luke had met enough grifters and villains in his days to recognize a new one when he met one. Instead he turned his attention towards the magical girls, who obviously were very upset. Luke had a soft spot in his heart for damsels in distress, and the code of the West also made it his very duty to help them.

"Is this man harassing you, ladies?" he asked them, and pointed at Rumpelstiltskin with his thumb. While waiting for an answer, he sat down on a rock, and picked up a hand rolled cigarette and a match from his vest pocket. He then struck the match against the underside of his left boot and lit his cigarette.
