I was thinking Darkness manipulation, but he will be weaker in any form of light and his form is different due to teh nature of the contract he made. His true form will be revealed in sunlight. Though considering how you feel about that, i was going to do a similar idea with a different element.

The main issue is just how supernatural is it? Would like to keep down on the supernatural that can't be explained away by Variants when at all possible. Otherwise the shadows is fine as I think we no longer have shadow people now.

ABILITIES: Body Supremacy: He has near total mastery of his body, he can change his eye and hair color as well as what he smells like. He can enhance his eyesight or senses, to an almost superhuman degree.
Tactile Body manipulation: He can manipulate the bodies of himself and others for a variety of effects. He can change his physical build and appearance at will, using this and his other power. For others however he must touch them and concentrate. He can allow people to temporarily have enhanced senses or attributes.

SKILLS: Master of nearly every known combat and fighting style. This is not quite accurate, as many require certain body types or the like that he is not exactly capable of imitating.
WEAKNESS: while he knows much medical knowledge and how the fighting styles work, he has little true experience using them. His power also require touch and can be resisted if the person is a Variant.

BIO: When he turned 20 he got job as an intern for a physical therapist at a hospital. After a few months the Physical Therapist was forced to leave due to some allegations. While the hospital had planned to let him go, they decided to give him a shot. They were surprised at his skill, they of course did not know about his power, which made therapy a simple matter. However there were a few cases he worked on that, drew the attention of other individuals, he lett a man who was though to have been destined to die as a quadriplegic, use his limbs again. the attention he gained wasn't all good.

A few months after he last performed a 'miracle' he was contacted by individuals who claimed to work for the Syndicate. He refused of course, This lead to one of the men accompanying the person to get testy. Lets just say things got a bit violent and the Syndicate became Irked. He heard from them again a few months later and this time they wouldn't take no for an answer. They had some information on him, in addition to the fact he was a Variant, that he would rather not get out. Due to this recently he has been forced to work with the Syndicate, nothing really bad exactly, just not exactly morally correct for someone who heals.

ABILITIES: Aria’s abilities focus on her senses. She has enhanced awareness which includes detail and danger intuition, photographic deduction, and lie detection, and enhanced reflexes. She also has enhanced senses that are multiple times stronger than an average human. Aria can also focus a specific sense, making it much stronger, but loosing access to her other senses.
SKILLS: From a young age, she has been trained in different combat styles including MMA, Aikido, and Krav Maga. Aria is also a trained detective.
WEAKNESS: Her senses can be overloaded by strong smells, lights, and sounds, especially when using her sense focus. Her senses also can be manipulated through things like magic
GOALS: Continue to stop crime in Seattle; Eventually become the Police Chief.

PERSONALITY: On duty, she is very focused on her job and serious. Off duty, she is a little more relaxed. When Aria is with people she trusts, she is much more outgoing and talkative

BIO:
Aria was born to her father, a police sergeant for Seattle at the time, and her mother, a doctor at a local hospital. When she was young, she lived a privileged life and was spoiled by her parents. However, that changed when she was only 5 years old. A gang that was targeting police and their families kidnapped her and her mother from their home while Aria’s father was at work. They tortured both Aria and her mother and then killed her mother. She was going to get killed next, but then her father and other police officers rescued her.

After that traumatizing incident, Aria’s father trained her and took her to martial arts classes so that she could defend herself. Aria also changed from her very charismatic personality to a more reserved one, only showing her true side to her father. When starting her martial arts training, Aria and her father discovered that she was a variant. She was able to dodge attacks and read people’s movement at a level that would normally be considered impossible for a seasoned fighter to do, let alone a little child. Her father decided to make her hide her abilities so that she wouldn’t be targeted even more.

Aria became a straight A throughout school, though was known as a loner by most of her peers as she didn’t socialize much. She got a full ride to Stanford and majored in Psychology and Linguistics and decided to join her father, now Assistant Chief, at the Seattle Police Department to use her powers for good. After a couple of years, she became a homicide detective.

A shapeshifter that can learn martial arts by seeing them and affect people by touch. It is rarely used so i thought a character like this would be interesting, i should get it finished soon.

Once you're accepted you can join in whenever. We have broken up into four groups at the moment. One group tried to find Cross and failed spectacularly and are now heading home. Another actually caught Cross. A third and fourth just now met up to form one super group and Klein's house. You're a cop, and a major shooting just took place at the Twins nightclub (I apologize for any similarities to recent events) so likely if you haven't already been in contact with the Benefactor, as soon as you start sticking your nose in things you will be and would be given the chance to join up. Any other ideas are possible as well.

To be fair, we did it first at the Twins. That terrorist just copied us...damn bastard. Now he's got all these people calling an AR-15 a "military weapon" and an "assault rifle". The AR stands for Armalite Rifle Dammit!!! And it's not a military weapon! It's the civilian variant of a military design! No nation in their right mind would adopt it for service!

Lucio isn't the one to be confrontational so it would most likely be the latter. Either way I'll write up a post later.
