Apologies for basically jumping ship and not informing anyone, basically a con happened for me and it sorta crept up on me to the point I only remembered it was happening the day it started. So mostly I blanked all my internet duties for the past three days. I am an unreliable kind of idiot sometimes...

But anyway, since I'm back... Hello. I'll try and catch up when I'm next on my computer, currently in bed recovering before having to use my legs again.

ABILITIES: Phobia Exploitation: Clarissa is able to dive into a person's mind and bring their darkest fears to life, causing severe hallucinations. These illusion can be so powerful that they can possibly cause severe physical effects.
Illusionary Camouflage: Clarissa has the ability to use illusions to hide herself from danger and spy on people. She is able to hide herself as inanimate objects as well as certain human beings. Both powers are ineffective against people with high psychic abilities.
SKILLS: Pickpocketing, theft, playing the piano and violin, pretty handy with a butterfly knife.
WEAKNESS: physical confrontation, people with higher psychic abilities, doing the right thing.
GOALS: Cause as much chaos as possible.
FEARS: Being dead and hollow inside.

EQUIPMENT: Cellular device to communicate with and a black butterfly knife.

PERSONALITY: In her old life, Clarissa was very mild mannered. She was quiet and did what her parents told her to do. She was the perfect lady in a perfect world. Now that she left that behind, Clarissa is much more dynamic. Even though she can't talk, Clarissa is sarcastic and cynical as ever, using her body language to convey her emotions. She also enveloped a deep hatred of society and has no qualms in destroying it for her own gain.
LIKES: Classical music, the piano, the violin, and being bad.
DISLIKES: high society

BIO:

Clarissa Alexandria Heathcliff had a pretty mundane life in the beginning. She was born into the Heathcliff lineage, a very prominent family of hotel owners. Her father had five star hotels all down the west coast, with Seattle being the regional HQ. Clarissa was destined to live a life of prestige and luxury and she hated it. Thanks to the pampered lifestyle, Clarissa never had any excitement in her everyday routine. Go here, do this, practice piano, practice violin, uphold the family name. It was the same thing every single day of every year. She hated the fact that this would be her daily life until she died. Clarissa desperately need a change, something exciting to break this mundane habit.

She found exactly what she was looking for one day. She was shopping with some of her well off and older friends when she spotted him. He was rugged and dirty with a aura of excitement around him. The man was dangerous and she like it. She told her friends to go one without her, not that they were paying attention anyway. She went over to talk to him without a care in the world and that was the beginning of their relationship. Clarissa would lie to her parents about what she was doing and went to go hangout with her gangster love. He would pressure her to do things that she never would have considered, but she did it anyway just because it was exciting. This was the kind of excitement and adventure she was yearning for. Talking to the man was the best thing that ever happened to her or so she thought.

Her parents eventually found out about her forbidden relationship and gave her ultimatum, dump him or get cut off. Clarissa chose the man which ended up being the wrong choice. She quickly found out that the man was just dating her for her family's money. Now that she was cut off from the money, the man left her. Too prideful to go back to her parents in shame, Clarissa became homeless. This was the lowest point in her life and she never imagined it would get any worse.

She was squatting down in an alleyway when a group of thugs walked past. Clarissa overheard their rude comments and unfortunately told them off. The group of men took exception to her sudden act of bravado and cornered her in that alley. That's when the most traumatizing moment of her life took place. The men savagely beat and raped her, making lewd comments and laughing as they did. After they took turns, one of them decided to kill her by slitting her throat. Clarissa survived thanks to a bystander who happened to walk by.

Clarissa woke up several weeks later in a hospital bed. She opened her mouth to ask the doctor about what happened, but all that came out was an audible screech. The doctor told her that she was lucky to survive the ordeal and that the knife severely damaged her voice box, causing her to permanently be mute. The doctor also told her that her parents paid for all the medical expenses. Using a pen and paper, Clarissa asked the doctor if they visited her at all to which the doctor replied no. This was another significant blow to her psyche. Her parents didn't even seem to care that their own daughter was raped and nearly murdered. She didn't want to go back to a life where her parents would forever say that they told her so. So instead of waiting for a limo to pick her up and take her home, she ran away from the hospital.

Clarissa spent the next several weeks hiding in an abandoned convenient store trying to find the men who nearly killed her as well as learning what her new powers could do. Eventually, she got her opportunity when she spotted one of them on the street. She quickly followed him to a rundown house a few miles away. She surprised them by walking right through the front door. The men immediately recognized her and began to laugh and wonder how she survived. As they walked towards her intending to finish the job, Clarissa activated her powers, bring their worse fears to life. As the men screamed and cowered in fear from her illusions, she spotted the same butterfly knife used to slit her throat. Seeing it as poetic justice, the young rich girl slit the men's throats one by one, just like they did her.

She walked away from the house, leaving her innocence and old life behind her. She even changed her appearance, seeing it as a symbol of the life she no long has. From then on, Clarissa stole, lied, and sometimes murdered to survive on her own, not relying on anyone. This was the excitement and danger she was looking for her whole life.

Just know that currently the heroes are investigating the Syndicate as they try to locate Robert Klein.

See, I am going to have him be a Physical therapist and a lot of his patients will have had 'miraculous recoveries', such as being able to recover from temperary paralysis with little nerve damage or what not. That will have of course been thanks to his abilities, and Criminal organizations are always looking for private doctors and the like to call on. They could have guessed his abilities and tried to recruit him for something. He could have reacted badly, as in violently, thus causing the Syndicate to have been uh disgruntled by that, and they could have caused problems.
this is just a rough idea, you can add or take away anything.
