Bio:
Being born in the depths of cold Siberia to a family of single-father and no siblings, his mother having left him and his father mere hours after he was born. Continuing to live the majority of his live at the research base/laboratory build deep underground due to it also being the working place of his father. Foster family came as unacceptable due to government's personal demand and his father's own refusal to such. Instead he received all the necessary schooling/education in there, though change for developing social skills was much lower so as the staff was made up entirely off of adults, military and scientist alike. Eventually as he grew older he started to exhibit abilities that of a 'mage', controlling elemental aspects and whatnot. Due to this he no longer merely lived there but began to take part in experiments concerning the limitations, potential and reactions over control of his respective elemental's, light and water. This went on for a fair amount of years, it didn't really work as a training regime to become a more competitive mage, but never the less the at least was allowed to put his powers in practice. Once he started approaching more mature age that he is now, it was decided to 'send' him to "Mana Academy", perfect place for all the elementalist to gather. The committee responsible for the general function of the research station unanimously agreed upon that their facilities simply were too inadequate to train one to become a legitimate 'mage'. His father didn't mind nor argue, at this point the so called bond between them was nothing more then that of colleagues or co-workers.

Short RP Sample:
Such strong wind howled loudly, echoing far and wide and sending snowbanks covering the solid ground fluttering into the air, a rather typical weather for this location. It didn't help to cheer up the landscape that the skies were covering in but thick layer of dark clouds, giving the whole place such a deeply depressive look to it, yet this wasn't entirely the case. As the moody color did cover all but a single sparkle of light in the dark landscape, a beam of light having cut its way through the clouds and pointing directly at a certain position. In that position where the snow had partially melted away, calmly stood a humane figure, with hair pure as the snow on the ground, its tips reaching down to his waist. Other then patting his gaping mouth after a rather tired yawn he didn't move around or make noises, or even shiver despite the temperature. Just his deep reddish eyes glancing at the ever expanding horizon, more snow, more cold, all there was to his home.

I see no problems with it, although take care in the RPs to not make light somewhat OP.
