"Looks like we won't have to wait for morning after all, huh?" I said, gazing at the blinding white light, fending off the inky darkness which had covered everything. We had a much better view of everything now, and I slowly surveyed our surroundings. It would have taken forever to figure out where we were before, but now everything was much clearer.

"We need to find a road or something." I said as I walked further out, trying to spot a road sign or even a light.

Zaragoza grinned as he wiped sweat from his brow. I cannot do much more than that, unfortunately. Once that runs out, I'll be done for a while. "It is not bad, yes?" He paused, allowing the others to take in the light for a moment longer before continuing in toe with the man. "Do you see anything? I can't see anything noteworthy. Maybe if we follow the tracks, we can get somewhere? Go back to where we came from? Keep going where we were?"

George beamed at the man. "Not bad at all, Gerardo. Damn fine." He surveyed the area, looking for any glimmer of a scope, or movement in the trees or among the strange metal shapes scattering the ground. Satisfied that nothing nefarious was about, he scanned down the tracks, seeing nothing noteworthy before they disappeared into the horizon.

"Your light is probably bright enough to be noticed by those two kids that left. I say we wait for them to return, and then continue along the tracks the way we were going. Do you think you can keep our path lit until morning, Gerardo? Maybe not quite this intensity..." He grinned, awed by the mans beautiful lights.

[The Tricolour]

James clutched her hand hard, and said " Go left. I can take him on here." His eyes glowed green, and a metal section of the train wall broke off, and f went hurling into the wolf. He gently shoved Xiaoxiao out of the way, and drew his shimmering blue staff. His eyes glowed a brighter green as he charged at the wolf.

This man was obviously trying to fight. He transformed into a falcon, flying up then divebombing into the man's leg. He transformed back into a wolf and bit the man's leg. "I don't want to fight. Stop now... or else I won't," he said.
Thoughts flew in his head. Right now, he was making things worse. But he couldn't pull back now, only James could. And this woman, she was hysterical now.

The falcon swooped at James and he slipped down onto the floor. He noticed that Charles didn't want to fight. He asked shakily " That... Is that you?". He head trickled a small stream of blood, and his leg was bleeding rather badly. The staff went away, and he fell to the floor exhausted.

Charles turned back into a man. "Yes, that is me." He turned to the woman. "Sorry for giving you such a fright."

The push James gave her made Xiaoxiao fall down on the floor, but she was quickly up on her feet again. And quite elegantly too. She soared up almost like a crane, and slowly landed a few metres away. She had been hysterical, but now she had to get her shit together and calm down. Be prepared to fight. But against wich one of them? Who could she trust? Was either of them good? It seemed that neither the wolf nor the man wished to fight anymore, so maybe she wouldn't have to choose. Still, she stood on her guard.

Woozily, James stood with the support of Xiaoxiao. He mumbled a quiet thanks and sat on the seat. The whistling wind through the metal hole was the only sound for a while. He then hugged her and went back to the seat and pulled out the lighter and flicked it on and off while humming a tune. But what was it? He still couldn't remember.
