Brief History:
Founded at the beginning of time by a single tribe that was in a bad spot. They turned to Void for help, and he did, but turned them over time into the Mahlaan, the Fallen. The Mahlaan grow by converting others to follow Void as their patron. Eventually they managed to merge all of the tribes on their islands. From that point on, the Mahlaan lived in secret on the Isles of the Unknown. From the safety of their shrouded islands, the Mahlaan have been preparing to spread Void's influence to the main land. In fact, many Mahlaan agents can be found, if one looks hard enough, in many of the nations.

Geographical area and key features:
The Mahlaan inhabit the Isles of the Unknown, three large islands surrounded by a mist created by Void to keep them hidden. Once one has pasted through the mist, and survived, they can find three islands, dead but lush in a way. The plant life of the islands look dead, but are in fact alive. The ground is grey and brown, burnt in some areas. No mountains can be found on the islands, but each are very hilly. The trees on the islands are surprisingly strong and are good for making weapons and ships. The islands are rich in ores as well. There is also a rare type of fungus that grows in the caverns under the islands, providing a reliable food source, since most of the plant life on the surface is to hard to eat or poisonous.

The Mahlaan are very secretive, and as such don't trust outsiders. In fact if you don't worship Void, they'll kill you on sight. To them, if you are not with them, you are against them. The government is best describe as a theocracy, with the religious leaders as the military and political leaders as well. The Mahlaan have a very strong navy, and army, prepared to fight at a moments notice. They make use of the sacred animal of Void in a different way than others would, they use them in the military to provide support for their navy and army. (Wyvern Riders are a thing with the Mahlaan) Goblins provide the back bone of the military and are the most numerous. Humans and Dark Elves are also in the military, as more high ranking officials. The Mahlaan don't care for gender, so be you male or female, you are in the military. That's another thing, everyone is part of the military, a tradition from their horde roots. To the Mahlaan, once you have reached your 14th year, you are an adult and must join the military. The elders of the Mahlaan though are responsible for protecting the home land and raising the children.
