Legal Sanctions: Private citizen... with forged documents.
D&D Alignment: Neutral Good - passively, rather than actively good.
Powers: Basic-mid level Telekinesis: can seize, throw, choke, crush, emit small radius bursts and use telekinesis to create barriers and for flight.
Basic level Telepathy: Can read thoughts, send messages and induce vivid hallucinations. This is a conscious process and she must be able to perceive at least a part of the person (a lock of hair will work). This is an active process - she has to be trying to read someone's mind - she does not accidentally overhear people's thoughts.
Dream Manipulation: Can telepathically enter the dream of someone she can perceive and communicate with them/modify the dream environment, though not in such a way that it has any effect when the subject wakes up (she can make things scary, but cannot actually hurt you).
Indomitable Will: The bedrock of all of Alice's powers. She is particularly difficult to psychically manipulate or possess.
Heat Manipulation
Slightly Enhanced Healing: heals more fully than a normal human but at pretty much the same rate
Equipment: Low profile body armor.
Power Origin: Unknown (Extra-dimensional being)
Weaknesses: Use of powers, particularly heat manipulation drains Alice quickly. She will become increasingly feeble and unable to concentrate before finally passing out. She can only use her powers on objects she can perceive the location of, which is to say see or touch (though she can also manipulate herself). Alice's powers require concentration meaning she can only handle one thing at a time - she can put up a telekinetic shield, but she cannot also throw a telekinetic punch. They can also be negated to varying degrees through sedatives (including alcohol), tiredness, excessive pain and head trauma. Finally, Alice is lightly built and not particularly strong.

Personality: Alice has a huge capacity for empathy and a strong dislike of 'bullies' which has led to her becoming increasingly mixed up in the super-hero thing.
Friends and colleagues would describe her as friendly and polite though she also has an irreverent sense of humour and takes great glee in dropping pop-culture references at inappropriate moments.
In combat Alice goes to great lengths to prevent injury to bystanders and will always try to take her opponents alive so that they can be arrested and given a fair trial for their alleged crimes - she believes that the law must be seen to go on in order to maintain civil society.

Background: Alice Kosa has been around for five years - before that she was something of a ghost - enough of one that many people suspect her identity might be fake, though the paperwork is good enough that nobody has been able to prove it.
She was first 'outed' as a mutant/Meta-human three years ago when it was discovered she was the individual known as the 'Watcher'. Her actions tended more towards search and rescue type work with very occasional acts of vigilantism, though only when she was a witness to a crime in progress. Despite the discovery of who she was, Alice was never charged with anything, mostly because she never attempted to bring justice - she is a firm believer in due process.
Having been discovered, Alice attempted to start a career as a TV commentator mostly talking about crime and human rights where they affected the Meta-human community. It started out promisingly, Alice looks in front of a camera, but it was a career that was cut short when she was shot twice in the chest by a member of an anti-mutant hate group.
While she was, physically, fully recovered within the year, Alice was never quite the same after the shooting. Rather than thrusting herself into the public spotlight, instead she withdrew from it. When the Meta-human Academy was founded, Alice immediately volunteered to join the teaching staff, and, in part because of her connections and in part because of her iron-will, Alice was made the Head of the Institution in the hope that sh might be able to help students learn to control both their powers and themselves.

Is the true identity public knowledge or private? Public in that she makes no attempt to hide, but you can't exactly track her down either (see Background section)

Age: Approximately 2,500 years old
Gender: Female
Appearance: She appears youthful, 5'8'' tall with pale skin, blue eyes and dark hair. When under stress her pupils may contract into slits, giving her eyes a feline appearance (this is her natural look, the normal round, human pupils are an illusion).

Due to a strong aversion to iron (see weaknesses) she will almost always wear a pair of gloves.

Legal Sanctions: Vigilante

D&D Alignment: Chaotic Good

Powers: Healing Blood In practical terms this means that Laurel recovers from damage very quickly. Her blood also has healing properties to others if ingested or if transfused into them (this last method gives maximum effect).
Semi-Immortality Laurel won't age or die of natural causes, though she can be killed in combat.
Superhuman Reflexes Laurel is generally hard to hit, especially when not bogged down with heaps of armor.
Superhuman Dexterity Very unlikely to lose her balance unless drunk.
Enhanced Hearing and Vision With respect to Vision, Laurel is also able to see weak spots where she can easily transition between Elphame and Earth.
Dimensional Travel Specifically between the Elphame and Earth. This requires time and concentration (especially if not at a 'weak spot') and can be easily disrupted.
Enhanced Swordsmanship She's had a lot of time to practice.
Enhanced Marksmanship She's extremely good with a bow and fairly good with a gun.

Equipment: Steel spatha (it's really good for killing her own kind - see weaknesses below), Webley Mk IV revolver (Great War vintage), bronze scale armor (with all manner of enchantment so that it is comparable to a military armored vest).

Power Origin: Is Aos Sidhe (i.e. ancient elf/fairy)

Weaknesses: Extremely vulnerable to iron/steel. Damage from iron/steel weapons will cause crippling pain. An iron object embedded in Laurel will poison and kill her fairly quickly. Skin contact will cause pain and result in first degree burns within a short period of time.
She is also completely technologically incompetent. Radio and mobile phones are a mystery.

Personality: Fun-loving by nature, especially fond of practical jokes. She can have something of a short temper and really dislikes the modern depiction of fairies. Her idea of good and evil tends to revolve around whether people are having fun or not. Laurel will naturally see demonic beings as enemies and engage them in combat without hesitation or thought for the consequences of her actions. She is also somewhat suspicious on Angelic entities (seeing them as predators of her kind) and if she is surprised by one she may attack on instinct.

Background: Hailing from the realm of Elphame, Laurel is an 'Elf/Fairy Knight' as described in the myths and legends of the British Isles. She is a member of the 'Seelie Court' (as described in Scottish Mythology), which is to say that while she may play tricks on humans, there is never any malevolent intent and she will (on occasion) be actively helpful. While she is a being of magic, it is only obviously seen when she transitions between Elphame and earth.
Her general modus operandi for the past 2,500 years has been to show up when a supernatural monster arrives on the scene, kill it and enjoy the after-party before departing back to Elphame. Over time she has developed a fascination of humans, which has also meant that she has begun to think a lot more like a human. While Laurel sees powered humans as almost her equal, she sees normal human soldiers as disposable cannon fodder.

Gender: Male
Appearance: A fairly average looking Caucasian male. Shane is 5'11', very slightly above average height, has dark hair and blue eyes. While he is physically fit, he is not overly muscular. Tends to wear expensive, tailored clothing.

Legal Sanctions: Australian Citizen
D&D Alignment: Lawful Good
Powers: Utilises a Powered Armor giving the following powers while equipped: Aquatic Respiration, Inbuilt phone and radio, Scanners, Thermal resistance, Vacuum Support, Rocket Boots... which allow for flight but are a bit unresponsive and will lead to crashes, Enganced Durability, Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Speed, Enhanced Agility, Tactical HUD, Gun Arm: Specifically an automatic weapon in the left wrist that fires FN 5.7×28mm rounds, A retractable claw: In the right wrist.

Equipment: The 'Prototype Aegis Combat Suit' as described above. Shane also has the resources to get his equipment repaired fairly quickly. Also has access to general military equipment.
Power Origin: Technology
Weaknesses: When he isn't wearing the suit, Shane is basically a generic mook.
Personality: Gregarious and driven. Shane will show up at all the best parties in town but will never overindulge. Tends to be fairly secretive.
Background: An Australian of Dalmatian descent, Shane is the owner and CEO of a major robotics company, 'Zupan Industries' based in Japan. As the operation expanded, Shane began to take a more hands-off role with the company, though unlike many of his peers, Shane did not throw himself into golf or fishing, rather he involved himself in charity work, specifically involving himself in the area of disaster recovery where he hoped to be able to put his robotics knowledge to good use. It was here that he encountered Alice Kosa and became a convinced in the value of 'Aegis'.
Fearful of the apparently unstoppable power of Atlas, Alice convinced Shane to begin work on an Aegis combat suit designed to counter Atlas if they ever need to face him on the battlefield. Still a 'work in progress', the suit has proved to be useful in the field, though whether it will be enough to stop Atlas is anyone's guess...
Currently Shane spends most of his time in Dubrovnik where he owns an apartment in the old city. Zupan Industries owns several warehouses and offices by the Franjo Tudjman Bridge which now also act as the Southern European Headquarters for Aegis. Despite his interest in the cause, and the fact that he is currently the only person able to operate the 'Prototype Aegis Combat Suit' with any degree of proficiency, Shane is still required to give a fair proportion of his time to Zupan Industries. As such he will frequently act through other Aegis agents.

Real Identity: Zara Delic

Gender: Female
Appearance: At 5'6'', Zara is fairly tall. She has dark hair and hazel colored eyes. Fairly pretty. Caries herself with an efficient swagger.
Aegis combat gear:
A vest
A helmet with an attached visor because when there are Meta-humans around you never know when bits of building will start flying about



Group Affiliation: Aegis (Lieutenant in the Southern European Region)
Legal Sanctions: Citizen of Bosnia and Hertzegovina
D&D Alignment: Lawful Good (with the emphasis on Lawful rather than good)
Powers: Zara is not a Meta-human, though that being said, she is a trained killer and as such can be regarded as having peak human accuracy with firearms and peak human combat abilities being adept in numerous martial arts.
Equipment: General Aegis combat gear, including the FN P90 and Five-seven. Best known for using the Electric Tranquilizer Rifle MkI - essentially a ranged taser used to immobilize Meta-humans (the ones without resistance to that kind of attack at any rate).
Power Origin: No power, not really.
Weaknesses: Zara is just a normal human. A tough and cunning one, but at the end of the day, nothing more exotic.
Personality: Quiet and highly professional, Zara is constantly alert to danger. Can come off as somewhat paranoid, Zara has no problems with offending people in order to assure herself that they are not a danger. Never confronts an opponent on an even footing if she can possibly avoid it. Will usually not question orders.
Background: A Bosniak born shortly after the war that devastated her country, Zara grew up with a lot of anger and a lot of hate, especially towards her Bosnian-Serb neighbors. This anger, combined with a natural talent for firearms and superb reflexes, led Zara into a spiraling life of crime and career as a contract killer. While she is loath to share the exact details of this period of her life, it is known that at some point she experienced a moment on a contract that caused her to reevaluate herself and without any real planning, packed up her few belongings and moved to the Croatian enclave of Dubrovnik.
It was here that Zara was initially employed by Shane Zupan as an Office Administrator for Zupan Industries. After breaking the hand of someone making unwelcome advances, Zupan realised Zara was more than she was letting on and, while she was highly unwilling to discuss her past, managed to convince her that her 'peculiar skill-set' would be put to better use with Aegis.
Zara now acts as Shane Zupan's chief Lieutenant and is among the persons in the organisation most involved with the tracking and apprehension of 'rabid Meta-humans'. Zara has no issues whatsoever with terminating a Meta-human if she feels they are too dangerous to be safely contained. As Zupan has business commitments to worry about, Zara will often act as an emissary on his behalf (in his capacity of Regional Commander of Aegis) and tends to be responsible for his security when he is travelling. Privately the two are said to be quite close friends.

Background:Atlas grew up in an orphanage, despite this he received a decent education, but he was routinely neglected by the orphanages headmaster, when he became 13 he was thrown out of the orphanage for an altercation between himself and the orphanage staff, left to die and wandering the streets he was taken in by a man who taught him how to survive in the urban jungle. One day while squatting in a seemingly abandoned house the owner of the property set it ablaze, Atlas made it out but most of the right side of his body was burned, his caretaker did not make it. When Atlas came of age he joined the U.S Army and experienced 2 tours in Afghanistan before he partook in an experiment to create super-soldiers most subjects died due to complications in the genetic modification process but Atlas survived, the army deemed the program a failure and Atlas was reassigned to a special forces group, tired of a life of war he went AWOL and managed to return home to Los Angeles. Later that week he was shot in the head and mugged but he had cheated death yet again, while in the ensuing coma he had a prophetic dream that envisioned the destruction of the world. Atlas remembered next to nothing prior the mugging upon waking up, the gunshot had drastically altered his memory, to the point of not knowing his own name anymore, he remembers the wrong done to him however, Atlas took up the name according to his stature as well as him believing himself to hold the worlds weight on his shoulders. now he seeks for Justice and answers: Just why had he received this vision? Who gave it too him? and how was he going to prevent the apocalypse?

After the death of Malikath, Atlas exiled himself to Siberia where he soon became plagued with visions of the future as well as Hussar's memories, further leading to his descent into insanity, the visions are all connected however, leading to the recently rebuilt, Los Santanas.

Background:Born in Russian controlled Warsaw in 1899, he spent his early years fighting in the Great war, when the second world war came around he tried enlisting but he was to old to do so, he tried waiting out the war but was ultimatly sent to Aushwitz-Birkenau, it was there he was killed, and promptly given a second chance, he awoke on the outskirts of Lodz with the ability to summon wings and armor, he kept this secret for many years after the war, he immigrated to the American west coast where he took a child under his wing (both figuratively and literally) until the child died in a house fire... or so he thought, with rumors of the child still being alive, he has travelled back to Los Angeles for closure, and if possible, to be reunited with the child to fight injustice across the world, like he intended all those years ago.

Background:born to a Radical Cultist and and a high ranking demon in 1464, her mother was executed, as was she at the age of 22, by the hand of the Spanish inquisition. she has the ability to transform into a human form as well as a Demonic form. due to her heritage she is unable to occupy heaven or hell and thus cannot completely die, she has spent the last 551 years dying repeatedly, always reincarnating as a 22 year old woman, she always wishes to help people, but with a half-demon soul she sometimes loses herself to her demonic side, as of 2015 she has lived in a majority of Europe, volunteered as a nurse in the WWI, served as a Russian soldier in WWII, graduated medical school, and became a volunteer for the international Red Cross, and worked for the LAC+USC Medical Center as a therapist.

She is currently working as the US Secretary for Health & Human Services.

  • designation of laser guided munitions (I.E; JDAMs) within 70 feet is the only way to get past the ECM, this is, understandably, incredibly risky.
  • Magic, Mother is incapable of understanding the properties of magic, as such her actions and status are greatly slowed by the combination of trying to understand the concept as well as trying to find a way to reasonably explain it, this effect lasts roughly 5 minutes after exposure in which it is filed as 'inexplicable'.
  • the exhaust to her jetpack is usually closed, but in the event it is opened for flight, one has an opening of a few seconds to toss an explosive up into the exhaust, timing is crucial however, as too early will have no effect, and too late will render anyone too close a pile of cinders
  • Plasma is most effective at dealing Damage to Mother.
  • Hypervelocity round (rail/coilguns) are also effective at damaging Mother though not as much as plasma.
  • Explosive weaponry won't damage her major plating all that much, but a 1000lb JDAM to the neck or shoulders will knock the mech out of the fight, getting close enough to designate the target is another thing entirely.
  • Thermodynamics, while explosions and bullets don't do all that much damage, the effect of a wall sustained fire striking her Chassis for a few minutes will cause her armor to warp and her CPU systems to overheat, forcing her to retreat.

Background:Mother was a product of a program with two purposes, to protect the lineage of Humanities greatest hero and the current head of the United Terran Dominion in 23407 AE (after Earth), and to ensure the destruction of the Martian League ending the war much earlier than supposed, she was modeled after the greatest minds of the Terran peoples, as such she has prebuilt knowledge of many subjects and sciences not even hypothesized in the current age, the technology required for her manufacture was astronomical, as such she was the only one built, she has self maintenance protocols and can survive indefinitely ensuring the safety of the Royal bloodline.

at a young age, Leonard was born into a very gritty home in a vry gritty world, in chicago, Illinois. Leonard was constantly beat by his mother and father and called "a mistake which should've soaked into the bed sheets". Leonard from a young age learn how to take punches and kicks to the ribs very easily, whihc gives him a very pain tolerant build. Leonard was the only caucasian kid in his school, prompting other kids to outcast him and bully him. Leonard grew up with a lack of social skills and a shell personality. in high school, Leonard meet a girl, who for some reason, was nice to him unlike all of the other kids in school. Charon was also a bullied kid, a lesbian who was constantly picked on by other kids. at the end of hich school charon moved to michigan, but had one last talk with leonard "you'll always be my best friend, keep hope leo" before hugging him and thus moving away. leonard after that day, that talk, was prompted to make the world around him a better place. from then on he took up the persona of "the black hand" and sought to clean up the world around him.


After Black Hand's Death at the hands of the Dark Lord in their final battle, Black Hand was sent into a Limbo like place, where he continued to fight, Train, Hunt, and kill. During this time Black Hand had thought that his time spent was only around 1 1/2 months when in reality, it had been 5 Years. Black Hand escapes Purgatory when a Higher power comes and deems him worthy of a second chance

Maxon was once a veteran in Iraq in 2003 to 2009 serving 6 years in the US infantry. there Maxon learned to fight like a rabid and mad dog when cornered. Maxon developed an ability to fight off much larger forces in Iraq, from densely populated cities, to deserts he fought like a rabid and mad dog. when Maxon was discharged and sent back to the states, he did not fare well when trying to meld back into society. Maxon was sent to a mental institution under the premisce that he had gone insane. Maxon while in the institution, had learned he developed a string of serious cancer from his time in Iraq. Maxon was approached by Iron Mountain and was offered a chance to cure him of his cancer in exchange for becoming a test subject. Maxon accepted.

the Testing on Maxon gave him a vibrant regenerative ability that could heal any damage to his body over time, but the testing left him disfigured and further damaged his mind. Maxon was imprisoned by iron mountain, where he upon imprisonment, used his combat skills to escape and become a mercenary for hire.

After the Battle with Dark Lord, Deadeye left Ann and Tyrannt with iron Mountain and he returned to his adventures in mercenary work.

Background:

Sony's origins are unknown, though it is refrenced that he was made in an Iron Mountain test facility. Sony is a large, Gray skinned creature that has immense strength and endurance. sony so far, has been used by iron mountain to contain and control their test subjects and prisoners. Sony however, when his collar is broken, will turn on his Iron Mountain oppressors and try to stop them. though this has never happened due to no one being able to get close. After Black Hand freed sony from his control collar at the Iron Mountain base, Sony continued to follow Black Hand around and joined him on his Adventures throughout the going months.

Presently, Sony has been changed by his near murder of iriqouis and has not retreated to the Himalaya mountains to sit and metidate with the monasteries and monks on how to control his power.

Anna is a self aware Android created by the AI "Agon" to be it's personal assistant. Agon however created Anna with the protocals of Self choice and Emotions programmed in to make her a more Human like android. the first workign "Synthetic Android" helped to make her be the machine that Agon says "will blend the line between Human and robot".

After the crisis with Dark lord, Anna was deply emotionally effected by Black Hand's death and the words said to her by Atlas. Anna lead the Iron Mountain company as the lead CEO and helped majorly fund and rebuild the City of Los Santana and other major cities. Anna has grown to be a much sterner and more powerful personality wise, she also seeks one thing that will be able to give he rwhat she wants, she seeks a way to become Human.

After Black hand made a deal with the God, Stone, Black Hand was able to turn Anna into a Human. Anna was then hit by an unintentionally aura Blast from Darach turning her into a superpowered Meta Human.

Travis hand't known much about his childhood life, all he knew is he was born as a bastard child to his Mother who was a prostitute. Travis Grew up abandoned alone, and on the brink of death. Travios was saved by a man called "hood", the leader of a master assassin's Guild who saw potential in Travis. Travis grew up with the Assassin's Guild until one day, he was sent on an operation, th eOperation had him kill a target in CHicago, but when he arrived at the scene, he learend the Target was a child. Travis refused to assassinate the child and defected from the guild, many assassins were sent after him, but Travis cut them all down. Travis then took up a vigilante Title as "Red Hood" and decided to track down his brith father in an attempt to try and reconcile. travis found out his father and mother were dead, and he also learned he had a Brother. Travis is now on a hellbent mission to Find his brother, whilst still being targetted by the Assassin's guild.

Marcus grew up in the United Kingdom, during this time he grew up to a poor and abusive family. Marcus was a abused child, one day when his father was beatign his mother, he took his father's shotgun out of the clost and gunned his father down. his mother cast him out as a murderer and a criminal, but Marcus was picked up by one of the Members of the Guild of Assassins to be traiend as an agent of the guild. Marcus was trained personally alognside the guild's leader "The Hood" and showed prowess for killing and combat. Marcus had trained for 27 long years and eventually reached his final trial, facing an assassin called "Red Hood" Marcus fought with the assassin, but ultimately Red Hood vacated the Guild's hall showing a change of heart. Marcus was then called upon by Hood, to hunt Red Hood down whereever he might be, and kill him to become the Guild's heir.

Marcus took up the name "Deathshead" and now hunts Red Hood
