1881- 1890- Industrial revolution begins as IRL, but a more succesful reconstruction, means a larger GDP, and a larger GDP means better industrialization
1883-1887- United States signs a deal with Haiti, trading 1/4th of their black population off to Haiti in exchange for aid and the release of claims to several islands. As well as America recognizing Haiti's control of the former Dominican Republic
1885- A more jingoistic congress begins strengthening the Navy and Army. Education reforms are passed, beginning a process of educating the freed slave population. Jim crow laws are never passed in a less racist south.
1886- The state of New Africa( OTL Utah ) is accepted into the union. Reconstruction ends, with a less racist south and a far smaller black population. There is a more liberal air in Washington.

Army: The Imperial Russian Army is in a sad state. The army is poorly equipped, trained, and morale is low after all the wars it has failed in. There are currently 1,200,000 regular troops, with an additional 300,000 irregulars spread out across Russia. Conscription helps fill the ranks, but the quality degrades. The Imperial Russian Guard also operates within the Russian Army with it's own cavalry, artillery, and infantry.
Navy: Imperial Russian Navy has shared the fate of the Army in most ways, but is showing to be in revival. With the Pacific Fleet receiving new ships, Russia may be able to boast at least a decent navy as the times roll by. The current strength of the navy is 90,000 Active men, with an additional 10,000 in reserves.

Brief Description of your Economy: The Economy is mainly centered on ores and agriculture, with little emphasize on industry. Russian industry is really low compared to the rest of the world, and nothing has really been doing to start up the process. In many corners of Russia people are going hungry and are poor. The state of the Russian economy is not great.
Goals: Build up the Russian Economy, Military to become a true power projector.
