Background

The World is on the verge of another world war. Russia performed military exercises with the Chinese by the Bering Strait, and set of a nuclear explosive there two days after. The Islamic State has conquered Iraq, while Kurdistan won it's dream of a free state in Syria, the Turks however dislike this and refuse to recognise them. North Korea has mobilized forces to the border, now having a total of 12,500 soldiers at the DMZ.

Scotland's referendum broke them free, and Ireland won a unity referendum, forming a United Ireland. Great Britain has collapsed, and the Irish, Scottish and Welsh have now merged into the Celtic Union. The USA has ordered NATO to invade Eastern Ukraine, and the Russians are countering it in a proxy war.

Bute Naval Base is a the key military base for a retaliation against NATO assault from the South. 800 Troops and several hundred missiles are stationed at the base, not far from the coast. It's also the West-South Base in the Five Point Nuclear Storage (FPNS) Program, and houses three of the Union's missiles. With construction continuing on the base, there was rumours that a new missile would be housed, and 300 new troops would also be stationed.

Fourteen Corvettes, and two Destroyers are docked there, they would carry troops over to the mainland to push back the English, and possible seize territory in the north.

Germany condemns this move towards war with England. Just to remind you, Russia is the biggest threat to the entire continent. We need to band together to stop Russia from attacking smaller countries to conquer them.

A large network of defenses comparable to the Marinot line ran from the mouth of the Oder to Switzerland and in Shleswig-Holstein along the border with Denmark, along with a line of defenses along the northeastern coast. Merkel was trying to end the rivalry in Europe that was between the two alliances led my Germany and France. She also Ordered construction of a line of forts and defenses along the french border incase the rivalry led to war. In war, there will be a draft of all able and fit to serve unemployed people into the military, a number over 1 million along with a highly trained professional army of 200k active at all times.

The ridiculous militarization conducted by Germany had not gone unnoticed by the Czechoslovak leadership. The training of two hundred thousand elite soldiers and the construction of advanced defenses over several thousand kilometers, both projects the cost of which cannot easily be paid by the German government, in one fiscal year leaves no doubt as to their purpose.

There can be no doubt that Germany is preparing for imminent war.

The Czechoslovak leadership considers its current military sufficient for national self-defense, but it is clear that Czechoslovakia needs more protection from German aggression.

As such, the Czechoslovak High Command commissions the repair and completion of the Beneš line, as those defenses are already close to completion.

As French and German aggression grew, it is becoming clear that Czechoslovakia needed deterrents to prevent Czechoslovakia being swept into an unwanted war. Nuclear weapons would, the Czechoslovak generals hoped, be exactly such a deterrent.

Czechoslovakia had one advantage denied to most nations: it had its own uranium supply. Within a couple years at most, Czechoslovakia would be able to field its own nuclear arms.

Germany had more men, materiel, and diplomatic clout than Czechoslovakia did, which they were now using towards the purpose of war. This defensive line was all that stood between the German Armies and Czechoslovakia's heartland.

But restore it they will. Within a couple years, this defensive line will stand proudly, as it did in its days of glory.
