"Finally." Artimus sighed. "Dragon God, I'm assuming you need some sort of big, open space? Sub level nine is an an unused garage." He hit the button to call the elevator. "Hit the B-9 button. Time God, the Boss is on sub level six nowadays. Vampire, you and me are going to wait on Sub level nine with the Dragon. Once again, going to remind you, half a dozen guns pointed at your head at any given moment- Don't try anything funny." He sighed, glancing at them to see if they had any questions.

Samuel Ashworth
Within the HQ of Division VI
Some time in the past

Samuel's grin only grew once he heard her response. Yet he turned his back to her far before the change became easy to see as he made his may back to the chair that he was in when he completed the paperwork that the faction wished for him to complete. Then once he had both sat upon the chair and found a comfortable position in which to sit after squirming the young vampire thought to himself. I was correct..the reason is indeed arrogance. I do hope that those men are at the very least decently trained. Since the fact is that if they are not then this faction may not last for much longer. Then when the vampire finished his thought he decided to listen for the dragon's response.

After a very short amount of time he heard it and the vampire was honestly very satisfied with his choice once he did. Samuel was grinning quite significantly as it took quite a bit of effort to restrain himself from chuckling at the dragon's response. Since the dragon's response was full of such a high level of arrogance that it honestly seemed that the dragon was acting more like both a small and spoiled child then a god. Yet after the time god convinced the surprisingly arrogant receptionist to let them all pass the vampire then did his best to calm himself before he stood up and followed the party as they left.

Present time

Samuel moved his hands into the pockets of his trench coat and after feeling that his sword was not there the vampire was at first quite surprised before a thought entered his mind. Oh, that is correct. Some humans that belong to this faction took it quite some time ago. I still think they should have done such a thing as soon as I entered if I am honest. Then as soon as the shifter suddenly spoke the vampire was quickly cut out of his train of thought yet he was able to hide it as he listened to what the man had to say. Then once he finished the vampire responded with his usual arrogant grin. "I do suggest that we get to our locations as soon as we can. Since I am quite sure that your commander enjoys waiting just as much as the dragon god does." Then once the vampire finished he simply leaned against a nearby wall as he waited for the elevator to reach them. While he did such a thing he also patiently awaited for a response from anyone else within his group as well.

Zafkiel was walking down a hallway on one of the lower levels of the HQ. He was lost. Again. He was never exaclty able to understand how this building worked. It wasn't his first time getting lost here but now, strangely, there was no one around.

The young blue eyed boy sighed. At least, it wasn't that bad as that time in Russia. He was still inside a building, in the middle of the city. He just had to figure out how to get to the 6th floor.

Taking his pocket watch, he looked at it as he continued to walk, all his attention absorbed by the watch.

Division Six HQ, Sub-Level 10

Valykura looked at the door. It's stainless steel surface seemed to cast a taunting reflection upon herself. It's distorted features forming a macabre representation of her true self. She looked to the side and saw a panel full of buttons. Yes, buttons is what they where called. Strange runes and pictograms were located around them. She pressed one and a red light flashed causing her to step back. She pressed another, a red flash again, and a sense of desperation took her. In a fit of sudden anger she punched the panel. Her fist going through the plastic panel and into the circuitry. Electrical sparks flashed and she felt the electricity flow through her. But it did not kill her, or hurt her in any way, rather it invigorated her tired form.

Clenching her fist a ball of electrical energy began to form. Reaching roughly basketball sized she slammed her fist against the door. Blasting a hole straight through with the rims a deep orange from the molten material. Valykura smiled and stepped through gingerly. Raising her sword in front of her she made her way down the hall way with quick, silent, fleeting steps. Her heart picked up as she started to ascend a stair well. Rounding the corner she could not read the strange symbols on the walls or doors. They seemed like a weird perversion of the Futhark runes but nothing was certain.

Rounding a corner as she entered another hall Valykura bolted down the hallway. Making a quick turn to the right she ran head long into something...or someone.

Her surprise came with a yell, "Hvað!" What the.

"Welcome to the single biggest waste of money in Division Six." Artimus deadpanned, waving his arm towards the empty garage before the trio. "For some reason, we keep the lights on down here."

Samuel was glad that the elevator came relatively quickly. Then once it did they simply went onto the thing and the ride was one spent in quite a bit of silence. Yet once they reached their destination and the shifter suddenly spoke up the vampire then exited the elevator before turning towards the man and responding as his grin fell significantly. "I have honestly seen some areas far worse conditions then this." The vampire then turned his head towards the dragon as he continued. "Please do not cause this place to collapse if that is at all possible. Since I do believe that such a thing would not make the best first impression." The vampire then made his way towards a corner at the far end of the garage before he simply sat down in front of it and after he leaned his back against the wall he then thought to himself. I do hope we are not here long..because that dragon does not seem like he is going to listen to my advice. Yet him being down here and finally doing the thing that he had been complaining about will certainly calm him down some. I just hope that he does not destroy this garage in the process. When the vampire finished his thought he simply turned his head to face the the other two members in the group as he both waited for a response from them and for the dragon's transformation.

Archangel

Somewhere over Nebraska

It was almost like watching his own life transpiring as a YouTube video - except there was no pausing or stopping, and definitely no rewind. In the seven plus hours since becoming Michael's earthly vessel, Mickey had become only somewhat accustomed to this new perspective. It felt narrow and surreal.

Michael had driven his truck straight to the airport. Where are we going? he had asked. His question was initially met with silence, but after repeating it a few dozen times, Michael finally responded.

New York City.

I was an indication of how very out of the ordinary things were at the moment that Mickey didn't even question why. Something did occur to him, though.

We need to stop by my place and pack a bag.

Mickey felt a tingling that tasted like confusion. His mind swirled dizzily for a moment, then Michael said, No.

Uh, yeah, actually. Mickey retorted. You think they're gonna just let you on a cross-country flight with no luggage? Nooo. Not after Nine-Eleven. You'll be randomly selected for additional screening so fast it'll make your head spin. That tingling returned. Michael might be damned-near omniscient, but evidently he was not familiar with modern American idioms. He figured it out soon enough, though. Mickey knew what he meant, and Michael occupied every part of him including his memories. But there was a kind of lag time. Like Michael had access to the information, but didn't know it intuitively like Mickey did. Interesting.

Without replying, Michael made a left turn and headed to Mickey's apartment in Gladstone. He took a few minutes to fill a small suitcase with a random pile of clothes and toiletries, and then they were back in the truck, heading east on Arlington before taking the I-205 exit north to PDX.

Michael parked the truck in the long-term garage, grabbed the suitcase from the other seat, and made his way into the airport. While his interactions with the ticketing agent and TSA officers were wooden and awkward, they were sufficient to get him to and through security and out to the terminal where the U.S. Airways flight was waiting.

Three hours later, they were at Sky Harbor in Phoenix. Michael had wanted a non-stop flight, but the ticket price was more than Mickey had in his bank account. Mickey had protested loudly about Michael blowing all his money; for ten minutes Mickey ranted, becoming increasingly agitated at Michael's silence. Finally, there was just the very slightest hint of irritation and then Mickey was violently shoved far back into his own mind. His vision was darker than black, with only a pinprick of light visible. Slowly, very slowly, his perspective was returned. Mickey decided it was best to calm his tits rather than piss Michael off. Michael’s silence gave Mickey a chance to think, which might not have been such a good thing, because it left him feeling terribly shaken and infinitely small.

When Eric had pulled back for that second punch, Mickey was afraid. He hadn’t anticipated the bastard could hit so fucking hard. Michael’s sudden presence had been nothing short of miraculous and he’d reached out for protection.

Miraculous. That was definitely the word. Mickey had been reasonably devout, attending church most Sundays. But now, in addition to his faith, he had absolute proof that there was a God and Heaven, and angels – and Michael. Of Michael, he knew only the basics from Sunday School: he was first among the archangels and commanded the Heavenly Host and would lead the battle against the devil at Armageddon…oh, shit.

There’s a real devil, too, he had thought. And demons?

Yes. The response had come suddenly, with an almost offhanded tone, but iron hard and supremely confident. Mickey wrestled with that for a while. In his mind came images of old Renaissance paintings and illustrations from Dante’s Inferno. He thought he sensed mild amusement from Michael.

Mickey bit back an acid comment, thinking better of it. Instead he said, I have questions.

I know.

Of course you know. Can I ask them?

I know all the questions you have. Some of them will be answered in time.

Mickey sighed mentally. God da--. Michael thundered inside his mind and everything shrank to darkness again. The pain was incredible.

When it subsided, Michael said quietly, I will not tolerate blasphemy. The statement was absolute but made in a way that included compassion and an understanding of simple human flaws. Internally, Mickey nodded; he would have to think before he spoke.

Far below, the lights of Omaha passed behind them.

Merlin

Merlin looked at Charlotte, "I wish to apologize for my anger, that's a side I don't often show. SO I apologize if it harmed you in any way. We should get going." He said as he continued his way to where the Divison Six agent was. He saw him waiting for them.

"So, we going or what?" he said.

Vlad

Vlad smiled at Enmerkar, "Well nice to meet you Enmerkar, my father told me about you. Yes, I am gathering allies and followers. We vampires have gotten soft... We are superior to all other races on this planet, and yet we hide in the shadows. The other six heads are cowards, they wish to avoid conflict, and continue living in the shadows. But I disagree. We should be ruling over this world." He said almost in a rant, he paused to regain himself, "If you want to know what I am planning, I will tell you. I am planning to conquer the world for the vampires. To make a world where we no longer have to live in the shadows, a world where vampires rule."

Breaking into a run she dashed for the stairs. She wasn't going to wait and find out who the boy was or if he was a foe. Valykura had only one desire, to get out of the building, and she didn't even know why she was here to begin with! She just walked in one day, felt a sting, and then fade to black. The next thing she knew was waking up in that room with the voice in her head.

All she could care to here was the clap of her leather clad feet upon the floor. Angling for the stairs, her sword held in front of her, and her breath came in disciplined gasps. Dashing up the first flight of stairs Valykura didn't bother to look back to see if the boy was following her. Her pace was fast, invigorated with the desire for freedom from this prison, and the sense that a pursuit would be behind her at any moment.

Moving up from the landing platform to another set of stairs Valykura kept the pace going.

Zafkiel clearly didn't liked to be thrown on the floor by someone that ran into him. But that woman just ran away, angering the Time God a little.

The blue eyed boy quickly stood up, taking the pocket watch from the floor. The woman had already ran away, but he was feeling her somehow. She was certainly some kind of a demigod.

Quickly taking out the black coin from his pocket, Zafkiel flipped it. In midair, the coin turned to a black scythe as usual.

Pressing the button on the pocket watch, he started to run, climbing the stairs

The only thing that the demigod woman would have been able to see was the young boy suddenly appearing in front of her on the stairs, with the scythe's blade pointed at her chest.
"Who are you again? It's very impolite to run into people and then to run away."

As Nik spoke to him, Saber nodded, following him after he entered the room. After entering, he set Hannah down gently, his arms hurting from carrying her around so much, although he didn't complain. Saber had been through much worse, after all.

As Nik spoke to him, Saber nodded, following him after he entered the room. After entering, he set Hannah down gently, his arms hurting from carrying her around so much, although he didn't complain. Saber had been through much worse, after all.

After they entered and Saber sat Hannah down in a chair Nik said " I expect you can stay here for about three days before it starts affecting you, this place can have adverse effects on those who stay here too long but it is still safer than the outside for the moment." after getting himself a drink He asked Saber " you want something to drink before we start the 'Interrogation'." he chuckled as he said the last word and waited for his response.

Saber politely declined his offer of a drink, "Let's just get on with it." He replied, frowning at the word interrogation but other then that maintaining his usual calm, steel-faced expression.

After sitting down Nik said" ok well I am Nikolas Carver Last of the bloodline of the God Erebus and his First Avatar, You can Call me Nik. you are a Were I can tell but nothing much other than that. Who are you and why were you in the forest if you don't mind my asking of course."

"A were?" It took him about half a second to realize he meant werewolf. Saber frowned again, as he didn't like people knowing what he was other then his fellow werewolves, although he said nothing more on the matter. "My name's Saber, and I was in the forest because I was looking for something. I'd rather not say why I'm looking for it or the specific name of the place I'm looking for." He said dismissively.

After hearing Sabers response Nik stood and said "That's fine im not going to force anything on you. You can stay here for 3 days or until you figure out what you are going to do, until then my home is yours. I can show you to a room later or you can choose where you want to sleep. Also don't worry about the fact that I know what you are, I can see the true nature or form of all supernatural creatures, well almost all anyways."

"Thank you for your hospitality." Saber said, although he was also thankful for the fact that Nik didn't push him regarding why he was searching - which meant he would have to explain his past, which he would rather not do to other people, especially strangers who he had only met what seemed to be only minutes ago. "I plan to stay here for as little time as I can, so I won't burden you." He said to Nik, so he wouldn't think Saber was trying to mooch off him or anything.

Nik asked " so do you want her in a room near your or what, I do have an area that serves as an infirmary if need be we can put her in there for now." Nik lifted both the chair and Hannah in it using the shadows and moved it closer to them.

"The infirmary should be okay. I'm fine with any room, provided it's moderately comfortable to stay in for the brief time I will be here for." Saber replied.

Nik created a crude humanoid construct out of shadows and made it stand next to Saber. He then responded saying "ok I will take the Girl to the infirmary and yo can follow my construct their to the hallway with the bedrooms it will disappear when it gets there, choose any room not locked or the Room at the end of that hall." Nik then Shadow traveled with Hannah into the infirmary before setting her on one of the beds in there and left a note with directions for the house and an explanation.

Charlotte shivered, trying to contain her fear and stay calm as she followed after Merlin, her heart pounding. What's going to happen to me now? ...I don't know if this is the best day of my life or the worst. No... it can't be the worst.
