I'll have Neoseia wander over, and being due to being slightly lazy and not given any instructions, just make herself a chair from 3 stone slabs she'll make.

I think Dixmix handled that, and is almost dead due to it.

Perhaps you could work on, hmm, some pots for water?

All for you bastards. :p
On a serious note, does the magic get stronger the more we use it or learn how to control it?

Hmm, may just go wander around and learn how to grow the power or at least see if he can see his own. May find the ancient power of the gods while he is at it.

Jaylwin and Neoseia, Felix would like some assistance making a metal hand trolley, to ease the problem of moving the bench indoors and as a proof of concept for the wheel (reinventing the wheel, whoop).

She's doing what she can, but what metal you'll end up with is for you to decide.

I genuinely forgot that there was more than one kind of metal, teaches me for RPing in the morning.

I'm going to assume its iron, because it's the most common type of metal and most of us would be aware at least of steel as an iron alloy. I'll use that iron to produce a wrought iron trolley.

That'll probably work, although lulz (well, OOC lulz) would ensue if she made uranium or caesium instead.

A pry lever bar. I'll put a second wheel on it when I realise it doesn't look very balanced with one.

I assumed the bench isn't 'too' heavy, and I'd still have someone supporting it from the back.

Ah, no worries. Between you three that should be fine- I thought you were forging a cast-iron wheelbarrow.

So I know this comes in rather late, I've been doing some other stuff. I do hope this works, and in the mean time, would somebody mind catching me up with what's happened? Three pages aren't much but it would help. :P

Application:

Name: Ada

Physical Description: Ada stands five foot and four inches tall, with a thin, fragile physique and dark skin. She has long, slightly curly dark brown hair that reaches down to her waist, with parts of it tied with worn ribbons and hanging to the sides of her head; she also has light brown eyes. She is wrapped in a desert cloak and wears sandals on her feet. So, basically, this covered in this. Slightly older-looking than in the image, though I couldn't possibly guess if age is bound to matter a lot here.

Personality: Ada is a dreamy individual. Talkative when engaged, contemplative when not. She tends to let her mind wander when no task makes itself present to her to occupy her, and even then, she may not be one hundred percent there. She's also of a very curious nature, and easily distracted to boot, which can definitely make for a poor combination sometimes, making her wonder the purpose of one thing before she even finished deciphering that of another. Fleeting, and of little concentration, though she's also very friendly, trusting and loyal. Very hard to anger, she's unlikely to ever explode, but she'll remember if someone betrays her trust.

That was about second on the list of things I thought we would need to do. The first one (shelter) is already underway. Though having a normal garden would be good too.

Application
Name: Sol Man
Physical Description: A scrawny, unimposing shrub of a man, he stands at just over five feet with a wiry frame of well-toned muscle, that shows surprising strength for his smallish physique. Usually wooden faced, with a reserved look of thoughtfulness, little is given away through expression by this him. This is contrasted by his strangely wild, unkempt black hair, which flows wildly up from his head like a lions mane, though it shows signs of greying at the temples. His eyes are probably the most telling. A startling, piercing grey, they speak of seeing more than he lets on of knowing. Like deep, clear wells, they seem to absorb anything that catches their gaze. Dressed in make shift robe of what used to be button shirts and a tuxedo coat, his most recognizable feature is a set of dirty, scratched, but still useable horn-rimmed glasses.

Personality: Publicly, he is stoic and reserved, even cold by some peoples standards, Sol Man is really just a man that enjoys his privacy, sharing it with only the closest of his acquaintances. When he does consider himself among friends, the change in personality is startling at first. He becomes more warm, almost normal for those accustomed to relaxed emotion, with a smile and laughter that's infectious because it is genuine, making him quite charming in private. Always the one to pose the question, simple answers and solutions are never good enough for Sol Man. One might say his pursuit in life is simply, to know more. He believe that there is always an answer to every question, though he always finds himself with more questions than answers. A amateur inventor and innovator, whose creations can sometimes mostly lead to exciting drama and hilarity, he makes up for his lack of experience with a novices zeal.

Indeed. And I fully expect us to send parties in different directions to find something, anything, but for now we should set up operations somewhere (though I have a feeling with enough time and patience we could turn the desert into a fertile valley if we wanted to. :P )

Keep in mind that the further away something is from the material you're using, the more likely you are to take harm while creating it. Making plant life from and is possible. But I would recommend doing it in stages, or you may end up making a new character before you expected to do so.

I did say "With enough time and patience" after all.

Any hints on the plot? Or more waiting time?
