History: In December of 2017, during the wake of the American collapse, Kim Jong-un called for a secret meeting between China and Korea to "revitalize the relations between the two countries." in actuality, Kim would be trying to talk China into assisting an invasion of the South. After weeks of talk, Kim finally swayed the Chinese into assisting his invasion, after a few months of preparation, Kim Jong-un ordered his troops to cross the DMZ in March of 2018, thus ending the 65 year old armistice between the two countries. China's assistance would come navally, as they formed a blockade around the Peninsula to prevent the South from getting supplies. With the United States in no shape to assist it's ally, it was helpless but to watch as South Korea was overran by KPA. Not too long after the North attacked, Japan declared war on the North and consequently China as well.
After 6 months of fighting, the South Korean defense became increasingly weaker as no supplies were coming in to replenish their armed forces. In September, the KPA performed a massive night attack on Seoul, storming the capital with almost available every man they had left. On September 9th, 2018, the South Korean government waved the white flag and surrendered to the invading force, reuniting Korea under one banner once more. To repay the assistance provided by the People's Republic of China, Korea assisted in an amphibious assault on the Japanese mainland, establishing a beach head and the first step in ending the war. After the Chinese and Korean forces were unable to advance much further into the mainland, Kim Jong-un ordered for several nuclear warheads to be aimed at Tokyo. Under the threat of annihilation, the State of Japan surrendered to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. After 5 months of occupation by the Korean People's Army, the Occupational Territory or Korea-Japan was absorbed into a new country, forming the Greater Korean Republic.
Using the newfound confidence of defeating both the South and Japan, Kim Jong-un announced that the KPA would undergo a transition into modernization. This time it was the Philippines. Declaring war in February of 2023, the Koreans launched an amphibious assault on the Philippines only outmatched by that of the D-Day invasion of Normandy. The Koreans overmatched the Philippine resistance in every way. Skill, power, equipment, size, it all was to the KPA's advantage. However, dense jungles and fierce guerrilla warfare from Filipino citizens allowed the Philippines to breathe new life. After a year of fighting, the Filipino government officially surrendered to the invading Greater Korean Republic, agreeing to be absorbed into the nation.
The KPA Occupational Forces faced heavy resistance from Filipino resistance cells. It would take one more whole year for the resistance to finally be stomped out. In July of 2026, the Occupational Territory of Korea-Philippines was absorbed into the Greater Korean Republic. The next two years would be relatively silent for the Greater Korean Republic, the economy taking hits and making gains every other month, people adjusting to the life under Kim Jong-un's regime. Then the revolution came in China. When PLAN revolutionaries announced the formation of a Second Chinese Republic, Kim Jong-un immediately denounced them as terrorists. But after watching the chaos in China unfold after four years, he was forced to recognize the Chinese nation.
The Greater Korean Republic turned to a new ally, the New Russian Republic. Holding onto ties with China economically, the Greater Korean Republic focused on vitalizing relations with the new Russian nation. Immediately signing a mutual defense pact, the New Russian Republic took the place of the People's Republic of China as far as allies go.
Tragedy struck the Greater Korean Republic three years later when Kim Jong-un died of a fatal heart attack. His regime was passed down to his son, Kim Jong-su. These were essentially prison camps just inside now so no satellites could take photos of them to prove human rights violations were taking place.
Since the initial years of Jong-su's transition into leadership, he adopted a policy of noninterventionism and remained strictly dedicated to developing economic deals, allying California and various European countries allowing for relaxed trade to take place. However, with recent militarism rising in China, Kim Jong-su is looking to put an end to the nonintervention policy.

History: During the collapse the countries of southeastern Europe experienced a huge wave of inflation and high unemployment. It reached its peak in 2017 with Croatia and Greece filing for bankruptcy, mostly due to the OPEC – America oil fiasco.
With the Eurasian War starting, most Balkan countries joined Europe’s and NATO’s side, except for Serbia. Although no huge battles like those in eastern Europe were fought, border skirmishes between Serbia and joined Croatian-Albanian forces were frequent. Republika Srpska, one of the entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, seceded and waged war against Bosnia and Croatia. Eventually, as Russia lost the war, so did the unified Serbian forces. This killed the Serbian economy, as well as the economy of other southeast European nations.
The economic crisis is Greece reached its boiling point when a communist revolution, started by the Greek Communist Party, engulfed the nation.
