[Soviet Chernarus]

After he gotten what he needed, with fresh change jingling in his pockets he returned to the elevator. The doors opened and he entered; he waited a few seconds for any more people to come, but thankfully no one did. He preferred to be alone. Soon, the music started playing and his phone rang. He checked who it was before answering. It was his mom, calling to ask where he was. Lewis replied a lot of "Yeah"s and "Uh-huhs" before he ended the call with her. Basically, his mother had asked him to eat dinner with the rest of the family; there was some sort of party going on. Lewis wasn't particularly looking forward it, but he hoped it would be quick so he could return to his room. Once the elevator stopped, he went down a hallway, passing a few people; he mostly ignored them, and dropped off the stuff he had just bought before getting back to the elevator again.

Kaspar yawned. At this stage the beautifully peaceful upper deck was totally deserted. Sighing, he stood up. He should probably eat something, plus he hadn't spoken to anyone in quite a while so he felt he needed company especially seeing as there was still quite a journey ahead of them and there was to be a storm tonight, at least that's what the forecast predicted it might not even be that bad, may just pass on by.

Kaspar strolled over to the elevator. He stood inside pressing the number for the appropriate floor. The elevator music started as the elevator box moved down. He had American dollars with him so money wasn't that big an issue, he was dressed pretty neatly too with black skinny jeans and a light dark green sweatshirt. His blonde Icelandic hair was neater than usual too. So that was alright. His principal concern was the fact he would be eating alone, and would probably look like an idiot unless he found someone nice to eat with. He took a breath and prepared himself, walking into the reception area of the dining room.

As he entered the reception room Lewis noticed that another person was in there, too. But he paid him no attention, barely acknowledging him. He walked past him to the reception guy (Idk what to call it)

As the girls were walking to the dining room, a girl with golden blonde hair and a red bandanna walked up to them. "Hey guys. What's up? Sorry if I'm interrupting anything important, but you guys looked like a cool group of gals. Anyways, I'm Esther. What's your names?" The girl asked.
"Uh, I'm Britney," The girl with brown eyes and dark brown hair stated. "That's Laurel," She pointed to the blonde girl with blue eyes. "Jenny," She gestured to the redhead with blue eyes. "Amanda," She pointed to the girl with black hair and gray eyes. "Penny," She pointed to the girl with ombre hair. "and that's Robin." She finished, gesturing to Robin.
"Hey, why don't you come to dinner with us? It'll be fun!" Britney exclaimed. They practically dragged her with them, giving that they were paying for her meal.
The girls sat at a large round table, laughing and talking about school. Robin was fairly silent, almost in her own world. She looked out the window, out into the twilight. Clouds had gathered on the horizon, large, dark clouds. Rain started to patter against the window, creating wet streaks down the reinforced windows. She thought she heard a distant rumble of thunder, but that could have very well enough been her imagination. She'd always had a fear of the ocean, and seeing such an event made her uneasy. "...hello? Robin? Earth to Robin..." Laurel called to her, waving her hands around.
"Ehh, what?" Robin replied, snapping her gaze away from the window.
"Robin...what's wrong?" She asked, fear crossing her deep blue eyes.
"N-nothing...just...fear of the ocean..." Robin said, sheepishly smiling.
"Robin...stop freaking out. Nothing is going to happen, okay?"
Robin didn't believe it. "Okay." She lied.
The other five girls continued their conversation, but Robin remained detached. Her gaze drifted to the window again, and the rain seemed to be getting harder. Why do I have such a bad feeling about this..? She thought. Looking over, she noticed a boy with bright blonde hair sitting alone, and she couldn't help but know how he felt. "ehh, I'll be right back..." Robin said to the group of girls, heading over towards the boy. "Uh, hey...you look a little lonely over here. Would you like to come sit over at my table? Or I could sit here with you?" Robin asked.

"I assume everyone is being assigned tables?", Kaspar asked the newcomer politely as it seemed like the most obvious thing with a reception area right in front of him and also because the dining room looked to be very busy. Turning around he heard a girl asking him if he'd like to sit with her. "Yes, sure", he replied. "I'm Kaspar by the way".

Lewis turned to look at him; he had blonde hair, and seemed to be a bit older than Lewis although he wasn't exactly sure about that. He didn't want to seem rude, and the guy seemed pretty nice. "yeah, I guess. My family already has a table, and I'm just joining them." He said.

[Charlia]

Charlotte took a seat at a table, feeling slightly ostracized. It wasn't anyone else's fault, she always felt that way--and the more people there were, the lonelier she felt.

She kind of wished someone would talk to her.

Unless it was a guy.

Kaspar turned back to the boyto thank him. "Thank you, it's ok though", he replied glad he could sit with the girl who invited him to sit with her rather than being on his own and appearing a loner.

Two girls whispered something to each other, snickered, and then the conversation of the five of them continued on. "Don't mind them. They basically ignore everyone outside of their little circle. They don't even listen to me that often." Robin said.

Lewis nodded; he was relieved that he didn't have to talk to him more, or things would've gotten awkward. He passed through the reception area, and had to look around a bit before he could hear his mother calling his name. He made his way to the table, where food was already set on the table. Steak, fries, crabs, and other types of seafood were on platters on the table. Lewis's baby sister was in one of those weird chairs that babies were placed in (what are they called?), spouting out random noises at random intervals. Taking his seat he tried to hide his boredom; his mother smiled at him, before insisting that he eat a little bit. On his plate he cut off a good portion of steak, dipping it in sauce, and began to eat it

Ryder walked into the dining room wearing a white buttom up shirt, black dress pants, a pair of hiking boots, and a matching black vest. He looked like one of the waiters except for the shoes he was wearing and his age. Ryder decided to wait around the entrance hoping a waiter or waitress, if he was lucky enough, would seat him and all the other western customs he knew of. Ryder began to softly hum Scotland the Brave to himself as he waited.

Julia enjoyed a warm cup of coffee, just prepared at the cabin's tiny coffee machine. When the door suddenly banged open and in stormed the familiar figure of Chris, the cabin already overflowed with the bitter, sweet scent of coffee. Chris smelled the air for a second, smiled, and turned towards Julia.

"Miss Callahan," he began in a voice bursting with the sarcasm of a 19th century British gentleman, "I have been sent here to escort you to the deck."

"Why, Mr. Paige!" answered Julia in the same tone. "I would certainly–," but before finishing the word, she burst into sudden, inexplicable laughter. He pulled her out of the chair and bowed, putting an imaginary hat away from his sunburned face as he kissed her hand.

"I want to show you something, güera" he said now, trying unsuccessfully to restrain his laughter with a reddened face. He led her away, biting his lip. They walked to the deck, and all the way through, they looked like newlyweds: nearly tripping as they once and again burst into limitless hilarity.

All through the short vacation, the couple had been as if in a trance: exploding with that passionate feeling that is so popular among young couples, but not with the adept and seasoned love of an older bond.

Chris led her to the edge of the deck and pointed to the vast sea.

"See that? See the sea?"

And again, hilarity ensued.

"You didn't take me to the deck to... to see the sea," asked Julia, "did you?"

"Nope. Follow me" said he as he grabbed her hand with no grace whatsoever and led her to the nearest ice-cream dispenser.

"See this?" he said with a grin.

"An ice cream machine?" said she as her lungs prepared themselves for a new round of laughter.

"No, güerita" answered Chris, calling back to the way her wife was called in Mexico because of her ginger hair. "A free ice cream machine!"

And Chris poured both of them an ice cream cone.

Suddenly, the skies turned cloudy and light rain began to fall.

The Icelander nodded. "I've never been on a cruise before but I'm used to boats so...", he started looking outside at the crashing waves. "Wow, it's gotten pretty bad out there", he remarked staring at the clouds.

"Yeah.." Robin cringed as the thunder cracked loudly overhead. "I have the feeling that something bad is going to happen...but maybe I'm just paranoid." She replied, watching the waves roll up high and then down low across the horizon. Lightning struck occasionally, sending a loud crack! sporadically. The occasional child would cry from the loud sounds.

The dining room had certainly gotten quieter, listening to the storm outside. It was so dark that Robin could not separate the ocean from the horizon.

Kaspar chuckled to himself listening to Robin and Penny mock arguing. "I'm sure Paris is lovely. I was an exchange student in Cambridge for a while in the UK where I learned English. I would like to see more of Britain though, so I'm heading back there first, then France. I'm looking forward to it".

"Sounds like fun." Robin replied. A particularly loud string of thunder broke out, causing Robin to jump. The rocking of the cruise was clearly being felt now, pushing side to side. The dining room had certainly gotten quieter, listening to the storm outside. It was so dark that Robin could not separate the ocean from the horizon.

"Woah", Kaspar exclaimed as the board could be felt tilting to the right. "Ok this is not good. Not good at all", he said a hint of fear in his voice. "Have you any idea where we are..like geographically?", he inquired as another loud clap of thunder was heard after bright flashes of lighting illuminating the entire sky and sea.
