Welcome to hell on earth. The year is 2287, and the pre-war American southeast was mostly spared from the nuclear holocaust that obliterated many of America’s once great cities. While the South was largely untouched by the bombs, Miami was one such city that wasn’t quite so lucky. Nuclear fire scorched Miami Beach off the map, and leveled parts of downtown Miami. With the nearest vault being in Orlando, Miami’s citizens were subject to a harsh treatment of radiation, leading to a large ghoul population. Out of the ashes of the city a number of powerful factions have arisen including Ghoul supremacist, a number of casino gang, and a great many drug lords to name a few.

The situation in Miami has never been more dire, and with incursions from the fledgling Dixie Republic to the west it seems Miami is a powder keg just waiting to be set off. New factions are springing up everywhere, blossoming, and dying out in the span of weeks. Somewhere in this calamity is you. Be you an adventurer, well-to-do merchant, or something far more sinister. Everyone has their own reason to come to the Capital of Vice, and not many are willing to share it. But, whatever your reason is, you had best choose your friends carefully, and choose your enemies with even more caution, because if you choose wrong, you will surely end up in the belly of a beast.

~Major NPC Factions~

Children of Purity, or simply Purity

Purity is a militant Ghoul faction who believe that the radiation has cleansed their soul and brought them to a higher plane of being. They view all non-Ghouls with suspicion, if not outright hostility. While they are somewhat accepting of other mutants, they tend to believe they are the pinnacle of evolution, thus other mutants are beneath them.

With over a dozen outposts, the Children are spread all across Miami and regularly make incursions into the downtown to raid unsuspecting travelers or unprepared gangsters. Because of their hit and run tactics they are regarded by some as merely a myth. Though, those that have witnessed these brutal attacks know the truth.

Dixie Republic

The Dixie Republic is a fledgling nation to the West in Louisiana. Several years ago they began a time of prosperity and stability, and thus they began looking for more land to expand to. Seeing Florida as a likely target they've sent an expeditionary force to pave the way for a larger force of regulars. With the expeditionary force having only just arrived, it will be sometime until the rest of the army arrives.

Nationstates Name: Neo-Chicago

Faction name: the Conquistadors

Faction Leader: Francisco Lauderdale

Faction numbers: About 178 soldiers, and 22 "civilians", although they're also armed. Most of the soldiers use submachine guns (Colt 9mms, to be precise), and some of the higher ups use M16 assault carbines. Soldiers, who also tend to be dealers, often wear pieces of kevlar armor, while others wear sheets of metal tied with belts underneath their normal clothes. Some even wear oddities like football helmets, salvaged from dead clients that tried to avoid paying.

Faction Bio: The Conquistadors were formed when Francisco came to Miami. When he got there, he found a large drug trade, and he and about 10 people who came to Miami from Fort Lauderdale gave nearly every dealer in the area that they held up in the choice to either join up with his cartel, or to get shot in the face. It wasn't a very difficult decision for the most part. After his cartel was formed, they considered many buildings to be used as their headquarters, eventually choosing an extravagant cruise ship that was docked between Brickell and Brickell Key. Just nearby, he discovered a warehouse that was practically full of cocaine, which became the centerpiece of his cartel. From there, Francisco began to tighten his grip on the drug trade around there and expand, mainly focusing on cocaine, but also dealing in drugs that were popularized in the wasteland like Jet. The Conquistadors operate from their cruise ship, dubbed the Mariner of the Seas, and travel using repaired speedboats and jet skis. Speedboats are mainly used for deals, while jet skis are used when traveling without any sort of product. The Conquistadors have completely destroyed almost all of their competition, except a few, and are the drug kingpins of Miami, for the most part. Francisco chose the name because he claimed they would become the conquerors of the wasteland drug trade. For the most part, they don't feud with other gangs, except the Victors, who are by far their worst enemies. However, it usually doesn't get to the point where bullets fly between the two gangs, although things are still tense between them. The main problem facing the Conquistadors is the slowly dwindling supply of cocaine, as his gang is still uncertain how to make it. They've begun rationing and increasing prices, but they still have a moderate supply.

Faction name: Sanctuary

Faction Leader: Bruce Chambers

Stalkers are well trained self sufficient all round units. They do everything the Sanctuary needs them to do. Recon, direct action, VIP protection, scavenging, anything too dangerous for the average Merc or Sanctuarian is handed off to the Stalker Corp. The Stalkers don't exactly have a set load out as their gear is modified constantly to fit their ever changing needs and comforts. However the universal weapon all Stalkers use are their prized Marksman Carbine modified to chamber the .308 given to them upon graduation. Stalkers use light-medium armor and rarely use heavy stuff. They leave that to the Mercs.
Mercs hired by Sanctuary are given a pre-set load out and are highly motivated to do their jobs to the best of their ability. They do not hire slouches. Standard Mercs (30 of 40) are equipped with reinforced leather armor, and 10mm Pistols/SMG's, while more specialized units like engineers (4 of 40) and snipers (4 of 40) are equipped with police-style armor (Think of Joshua Grahams armor) and .45 Auto's and Assault Carbines for engineers and Sniper rifles respectively. The last 2 spots are filled by "medics" equipped with light weight leather armor, and lever-action shotguns.
Faction Bio:
Doctors, soldiers, farmers, teachers, friends and family. When nuclear Armageddon happened, these people got their priorities straight. They grouped together and powered through the darkest of times. The first months of the post-apocalypse. Many succumbed to radiation, poverty, starvation, drug abuse and more, this large group of people would face impossible odds, they would be attacked regularly and many would die, dozens at a time. There were too many people and not enough supplies, but instead of turning on each other, they stood together strong as they could.

The soldiers figured that if they could funnel their enemy, get a proper staging ground, they would have a chance. Dodge island was relatively intact, the bridge was in good condition and they could see their would be attackers from miles away. In the first years they did what they had to do to survive. But they still had morals, they still had their humanity. Innocent people would get hunted down and slaughtered for fun and they couldn't stand it. There were too few to mount a proper offensive and maintain their defense at the same time so they did the next best thing. They saved the wounded, the sick, the starving. Over the months the group had built up a steady flow of resources. They could create more than enough food water and even to an extent medical supplies. Because the group didn't discriminate and were welcoming to all but the most heinous, the place was known as Sanctuary. A port in the storm, many thought that they would only last a few months before those that they'd rescued would turn on their kindness. In most cases, that probably would have happened, but not here. Raiders would often try to attack Sanctuary for its supplies but they would be repelled time and time again, proving their ability to be strong. By 2287, the Sanctuary still stood, it had lost many people over the years but still stood strong, they would never forget those before them, their struggles and triumphs and they were sure as hell not going to let it all go to waste. They've established themselves quite well all over Miami. Keeping what remains at least somewhat civilized. Everyone has at least gone to the Sanctuary for help at least once in their lifetime.

Their kindness should not be laughed at or taken for granted. Many of made this mistake and payed dearly. When entering the fortified entity that is a Sanctuary base, many report a feeling of being watched. Some welcome this feeling as guardian angels watching over them, or simply shake it off as paranoia. While others, sense something...different, something...darker. It is rumored that the Sanctuary makes people who cause trouble disappear, but simply play it off as the doing of a local gang. But what if it isn't? Behind their warm smiles and generousness there is something lurking in the shadows. The sanctuary employs a number of redeemed men and women who would do anything for the cause. Anything.

Starting Location: Dodge island (Near the west bridge) (Specifically a Coast guard Base)

Goals: Improve the living quality of the residents of Miami, make it so that people aren't struggling just to make it day by day.

Faction name: The Kingdom of New Hindustan

Faction Leader: Majaraja Shiva Chaturvedi

Faction numbers: Exactly one hundred and eighty seven peasant farmers, eight doctors, four monks/priests, and one monarch, totaling two hundred members exactly.

Faction Bio: New Hindustan is one of the oldest factions in post-war Miami, having been founded by ethnic Indians from across Florida very shortly after the bombs fell. Specifically, it was built by Jains who wanted a society free from the decadence of the other factions and a place where they could find safety from raiders and gangs. Thusly, they built their own town in the outskirts of the city of Miami, a place fully committed to the traditions and customs of Jainism, free from violence and immorality (and far enough away from the actual city that they could avoid the radiation). Their new society would be based around feudal India, with their society instituting a caste system and a monarchy, people being born into certain societal roles. The vast majority of New Hindustan would work as farmers, growing crops to feed the town and to sell to allow the town to purchase things it needed. Since violence was strictly forbidden amongst Jains, and since the people of New Hindustan didn't want to sink down to the level of the raiders and criminals and start killing others to protect themselves, they started fortifying their town to keep out those who would wish to do them harm, beginning the construction of a grand fort to offer protection to the inhabitants of the town.

While they did have weapons, and while they did have to kill a few raiders to protect their new town initially (self-defense was permitted in Jainism, though it was still preferable to avoid conflict to begin with), and while they had quite a few people die in combat, after substantial amounts of time and work, they had built a tall and sturdy stone wall around the town of New Hindustan, and they had started making progress on a grand fortress to keep the raiders out. After many decades of work, and after quite a few people had been killed by some raider gang or another, the people of New Hindustan had finished the construction of a massive, three hundred room fort, its design based around the Red Fort of Delhi. It had taken almost an entire generation to finish its construction, but having massive walls of stone separating New Hindustan from the outside world definitely did a good job dissuading raiders, since very few raider groups actually had enough explosives to blow holes in the tall and thick walls of New Hindustan, and even if they did have the explosive resources to get inside their fort, the people of New Hindustan were almost exclusively farmers, and they didn't have anything worth stealing that would make up for all the resources they would have had to use to get inside.

With their safety nearly guaranteed, the Jains of New Hindustan started turning their attention towards the very decadent city of Miami. Greed being strictly forbidden in Jainism by the principles of Aparigraha, the people of New Hindustan were obligated to do what they could to help the people of Miami as opposed to simply sitting around in their fortress hoarding everything they had. Thusly, New Hindustan started providing charity to the people of Miami, offering free food and medical services to those in need. In a manner similar to the Followers of the Apocalypse, the New Hindustani people did what they could to minimize the damage caused by gang violence, help those in need, and bring hope to the people of Miami. They also did what they could to help people break chem addictions, and help warn people about the dangers of drug abuse; needless to say, they didn't exactly get along with the drug lords, although, being good Jains, they never tried to use violence to forcibly end the chem trade.

After over a century of charity work and helping make Miami a slightly better place, New Hindustan has gotten a very positive reputation amongst the people of Miami; well, the people of Miami who aren't involved in chem trafficking, that is. While the New Hindustanis are fairly frequently targeted by various gangs when they venture outside of their fortress to help the residents of Miami, the people of New Hindustan still refuse to stoop to their level and seek violent retribution against the criminals; they stick very strictly to their moral code, and do their best to preach the Jain message of non-violence to the people of Miami, which certainly hasn't lessened their reputation at all. A fair amount of people from Miami volunteer to help the New Hindustanis in various ways, whether it be donating medicines to their doctors or volunteering their time to help them with their charity work; donations from supportive people in Miami do quite a bit to help further their cause.

Starting Location: Tijuana, Mexico. I mean, this RP takes place in Florida, so obviously they're from Mexico. But, really, like I said in their biography, their fort is located in the outskirts of Miami. They also have a small outpost in the city itself, from which they distribute food and water and give medical assistance to those who need it.

Goals: Ending the chem trade, stopping the gang violence of Miami, and helping people in need.


Faction name: The Order of the Knights Tempest

Faction Leader: Grand Knight William Thompson

Faction numbers: 40 farmers, 40 Knights, 40 essential non-combat personnel (Doctors, Technicians), 50 civilians

Tempest Knight

The farmers basically farm for food and gather food and water when the farms are out of commission. They are essential to the whole faction, if the farmers were not there, then the entire faction would collapse. The Knights are the military force of the Order, and they're very good at their job. They wear highly visible Knights Templar crusades-era clothing and armor but are extremely savage fighters, determined to get into close combat with their lethal serrated scimitars. For ranged combat, the Knights have crossbows, making them stealthy.

Faction Bio: Decades after the Great War and its subsequent nuclear exchange, a man named Bradley Thompson, a historian, had survived the nukes via an underground bomb shelter. He was troubled by the anarchy and lawlessness of the post-war city and was determined to create a lawful society. He went across the former city gathering people to become his first citizens of the Order. A group of ten people not including him traveled to Virginia Key, a mostly safe place to be in, and made a community there, thriving due to the placement of farms near it and a surplus of water. More and more people arrived at the Key to join the new town that actually helped people instead of killing them, a common practice in most of the city.

The community eventually grew enough to become a full-fledged faction, and Thompson started to carve his new town into what he thought was best for it, a faction based off of the Crusaders of old. When Bradley died in 2105, his son Michael took over. Wary of new visitors and already strained on resources, his Knights pushed off people trying to join and even killed them. Other rulers simply let the people in. To better protect the community from roving groups of bandits and other undesirable attackers, the Grand Knight ordered a castle to be built on the island. The move was a smart one, as a bandit attack came just days after construction started. The Knights easily took care of the bandits but this reminded the people how vulnerable they were to being sacked.

The castle was finished during the reign of Grand Knight Edward in 2156. Most other factions were unwilling to attack the Crusader Castle as it would be a very costly endeavor with no guarantee of a victory. As the Knights grew, their influence grew and most people knew about them with mixed feelings mostly dependent on whoever was the Grand Knight at the time.

Grand Knight William's rule has mostly been friendly to most, but the Order is starting to take a more active role in the city's events. Whether this is good or not is unclear.

Starting Location: Virginia Key

Goals: To simply survive and make the Order a dominant power in the city.


Faction name:The Vice Victors

200 people are in the Cartel. The higher ranking members have good guns, but most of them have poor condition firearms. SMGs, Pistols, shotguns, wile the higher ranking gangsters have sniper rifles, assault rifles, explosives.

Faction Bio:
After the bombs fell, the pre war gang, The Vice Victors stepped up production. With no laws or policemen to stop them, they prospered. They were the gang to be in. Many enlisted, and the Victors had to expand their services. They were originally a drug cartel, but they expanded to drug dealing, bounty hunting, prostitution, gambling, and slavery. They earn thousands of caps a day, and have killed two dozen people within an hour before.

They have a casino, where most their income comes from. Slot machines, poker tables, drugs, and a lot of caps. No guns are allowed, and their gang is stationed there. It is built like a fortress, with thick concrete walls, guard posts, barbed wire, and a big metal gate. Gamblers must pay 10 caps just to get in, and cheaters are mugged, and thrown out.

They have people everywhere, and have sipes in other major gangs. They get merchants to pay for protection money. They have a small motor pool, and have neon signs on their casino. They have moonshine stills and drug labs. In one day they can produce a dozen stimpacks, Med-X, and pure water.

After a small gang assassinated their leader, Juan was put in charge. He. made it his mission to wipe the gang off of the face of the earth. When they successfully destroyed the enemy gang and all their allies, Juan personally, and publicly, executed their leader. This gang war asserted the Victor's dominance in Miami, with the only competition being the Conquistadors.

Although they are a big time cartel, they aren't oppressive and they aren't murders. They maintain a good public appearance, and try to make people like them. They donate caps to organizations that help people, and they try to be on good terms with other gangs.

Faction Bio: Formed by Donovan Strong and his cousin James Strong in 2164 as a militia that was solely designed to act as a law and order faction and originally merely named the Law & Order Front, it consisted of very anti-American propoganda and New World ideologies which denounced the US as the reason the Nuclear war occurred. During the Faction's Earliest days it was located in Tampa Bay and succeeded in wiping out all opposition in the region establishing hegemony over the city and enacting a police state. However, this police state was quite popular with the locals who more than willingly sold their freedoms for protection and the ability to work realistic jobs. However, out of the Bayou, or what they called the Swamp of the Damned came an army of at least eight hundred swamp folk who quickly swarmed and pushed out the Law & Order Front faction forcing them to become nomads in the year 2199. Still with around 300 members, they first attempted to set up camp in Arcadia, a swamp folk settlement which they eliminated with ease. They then began a small scale purge in which they began hunting down and eliminating any swamp folk and mutants in the area. However it was then while both Donovan and James were in their sixties that Donovan was killed by a defecting sub faction of policemen, those policemen and their families were purged in the second purge. Their small authoritarian state grew again to 700 people and eventually new leaders came to power.

Franklin Freeman styling himself Protector Freeman became the de facto head of state as he gained police support but soon a new faction emerged within it in the year 2220 They called themselves the Freedom & Justice Front. At first they were mere insubordinate members of the society who'd gained enough support to avoid being purged without major resistance. However, soon they began to study pre-war texts and whilst one of their members was looking through a small half untouched library, he came across a safe which contained two undamaged books along with a small note that stated "No man can censor these words. One day they will come true." The books were named The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital. They were brought back to the Freedom & Justice Party Leadership who determined that they would abandon their fascist ways to become communist. In their minds they could exploit this system to their advantage, however, what they were unaware of was that even within the Leadership of their sub faction was a small inner circle of people who honestly began to believe in the two books, the inner circle called itself the house of Justicars, these Justicars doubled as skilled gunmen who could easily dominate a firefight. They went so far in their beliefs that they went against the faction and their own sub-faction spreading the word by leaving notes proclaiming everyone's right to equality in the doors of every home and even in the House of Commons which was dedicated to the homeless. Soon they were able to rally enough outrage at the system in place that when they finally assassinated Protector Freeman and announced who they were it began a long, drawn out, two decade long, bloody civil war which began in the year 2248. In the end they faced a stalemate. The Freedom & Justice Front left with 80 members and fled to Miami in the year 2272. There in the outskirts of the city it has gained a significant amount of support. Only one Justicar who was alive during the Civil War remains, he has trained two men to replace him as Justicars, but now serves as 52 year old Premier Johnathon Steele. He implemented the Great Reform which allowed for five year terms with a direct election in between. It also created the Party Holder Council which allowed for 24 men to vote on any internal issues and to make several decisions that Johnathon Steele had decided to delegate them. To be a member of the Council or Premier one would need to have served 3 years in the military, sworn a vow to the nation, be a citizen and be 32 years of age at the very least. In addition to limit the number of Justicars there were, the Order of the Hammer and Sickle was created for initiates of Footsoldiers, Vanguards and Guardsmen who were applying to become Justicars.

Goals: To establish a Communist Paradise.


Faction name: The Monroe Republic

Faction Leader: (You have to also have an application for the leader if you want to be accepted) General Celia Monroe

Faction numbers: (What quality of troops do you have? how many civilians, and no more than 200 members) About 36 standard militia, and about 56 weak militia with 102 civilians. Standard Monroe Militia are typically equipped with assault carbines or sniper rifles, officers with .223 pistols or 10mm, weak Militia with crossbows or muzzle loading rifles, and all of them have Militia Brass Knuckle Swords. Some dynamite, a handful of grenades are present in the typical standard Militia squad. Standard Militia have Militia Armor (Equivalent to Metal Armor or low grade combat armor), Weak Militia have Basic Militia Armor (reinforced leather armor) and officers have Officer Armor (Equivalent to Centurion Armor). They are specially trained by Monroe, whose combat accomplishments are legendary. Training emphasizes melee combat, sharpshooting, guerilla and psychological warfare.

Faction Bio: The Republic was founded by General Celia Monroe about 15 years ago, way up in the North, in Philadelphia. The general, through her amazing leadership and strategic mastery, would take most of Southeast Pennsylvania within 5 years, and go on to take parts of surrounding states. She ruled brutally, but fairly, eliminating threats to their power, but never executing anyone without a fair trial. She allowed industry to flourish, including drugs and weapons (particularly her business associate Jeremy Schnable's companies). Her empire became quite powerful by the end of the eleventh year, with one 300,000 civilians and about 25,000 soldiers. However, her success led to many enemies, both within and without.

In the twelfth year of her reign, a group of soldiers known as the Enclave struck at their forces, destroying their main armies, and burned a trail from their western border to their capital at Philly. Although they and their forces fought honorably, they would eventually be forced to abdicate from their position, and flee south. They would experience constant hardship, and by the time they reached Miami, only had a pitiful company of troops and civilian workers remaining. However, the Monroe Republic still had her mighty General, whose legendary combat prowess could lift her up from the graveyard of history.

Starting Location: Everglades Wildlife Management Area, where a large camp has been set up.

Goals: Form a new Monroe Republic and defend Miami from the Dixie Republic.

I'm going to mention that gang, the Victors, in my app, even though the guy who proposed it hasn't posted its app on here yet. Be warned.
If I'm not online, I'm probably playing something on my Xbox One, so bear with me.

200 people are in the Cartel. The higher ranking members have good guns, but most of them have poor condition firearms. SMGs, Pistols, shotguns, wile the higher ranking gangsters have sniper rifles, assault rifles, explosives.

Faction Bio:
After the bombs fell, the pre war gang, The Vice Victors stepped up production. With no laws or policemen to stop them, they prospered. They were the gang to be in. Many enlisted, and the Victors had to expand their services. They were originally a drug cartel, but they expanded to drug dealing, bounty hunting, prostitution, gambling, and slavery. They earn thousands of caps a day, and have killed two dozen people within an hour before.

They have a casino, where most their income comes from. Slot machines, poker tables, drugs, and a lot of caps. No guns are allowed, and their gang is stationed there. It is built like a fortress, with thick concrete walls, guard posts, barbed wire, and a big metal gate. Gamblers must pay 10 caps just to get in, and cheaters are mugged, and thrown out.

They have people everywhere, and have sipes in other major gangs. They get merchants to pay for protection money. They have a small motor pool, and have neon signs on their casino. They have moonshine stills and drug labs. In one day they can produce a dozen stimpacks, Med-X, and pure water.

After a small gang assassinated their leader, Juan was put in charge. He. made it his mission to wipe the gang off of the face of the earth. When they successfully destroyed the enemy gang and all their allies, Juan personally, and publicly, executed their leader. This gang war asserted the Victor's dominance in Miami, with the only competition being the Conquistadors.

Although they are a big time cartel, they aren't oppressive and they aren't murders. They maintain a good public appearance, and try to make people like them. They donate caps to organizations that help people, and they try to be on good terms with other gangs.

Starting Location: Valentine's Vice Casino (Where the RL American Casino is.)

Goals:To roll in the caps

Anything else we should know? The gang members aren't supposed to use drugs.

Character Name: Juan Ramirez

Appearance: (I would like a nice picture) This is the first time I put a picture in an app.

Equipment:
.45 Pistol, White suit with a Kevlar vest under it, sawed off shotgun.

Skills: He's a natural leader, a good shot, and he is smart.

Personality: Ruthless, if he wants it, and you got it, you better give it to him.

Motives: Caps

Backstory: (At least a paragraph please)
Juan was born into the Cartel. His father was the previous leader, so Juan was naturally a leader. When he was 18 he served as a sergeant in the cartel, then soon an enforcer, and then when he was 21, he was a lieutenant in the Cartel. He was known to be ruthless, and over zealous when he was doing his job. When his father was assassinated by a small gang, he took over, and destroyed the gang. Afterwards he tried to generate caps to spend on making the community better. He funds groups that help the community, and the gang occasionally can be seen giving out free purified water.

When he was growing up, his parents tought him one thing, "Don't lose". He is known to be a known to be a kind person, giving people second chances, but after that, you will see his dark side. His father trained him how to fight, and through that, they bonded. But when he lost his father, he lost his temper. He personally fought in gang wars, and he made examples out of anyone who opposes his cartel.

The only person Juan is afraid of is his mother, Rose. She doesn't have much authority over the gang, but she has complete authority over Juan. He wouldn't do anything unrealistic for her, but if she wants something, he'll bend over backwards for her. She usually gives him advice on running the cartel, because his father taught her some things about cartel live.

I'm really doubting that between the two of you, you could control an area that used to have 5 million people in it. Furthermore, I'd like everyone to start out small, and build from there so I'll be limiting the two of you to one district of sorts to begin with. (for example like you mentioned Brickell, so you could be the major dealer in Brickell but have little influence outside of that) And you could probably spruce up your bio as well.

You know, I'm kind of conflicted as to what kind of a faction to make. A part of me wants to make a Jain faction based on feudal India, that wants to eliminate the chem trade and purify Miami, and another part of me wants to make a faction based on the Third Reich that wants to conquer Miami for themselves; either way, I'll probably go for a faction based on some historical nation or another. What do ya'll think would be a good historical faction idea to make?

Thinking the Indian one is probably a better way to go. There really aren't any vigilante factions in Miami.

Nationstates Name: Neo-Chicago

Faction name: the Conquistadors

Faction Leader: Francisco Lauderdale

Faction numbers: About 178 soldiers, and 22 "civilians", although they're also armed. Most of the soldiers use submachine guns (Colt 9mms, to be precise), and some of the higher ups use M16 assault carbines. Soldiers, who also tend to be dealers, often wear pieces of kevlar armor, while others wear sheets of metal tied with belts underneath their normal clothes. Some even wear oddities like football helmets, salvaged from dead clients that tried to avoid paying.

Faction Bio: The Conquistadors were formed when Francisco came to Miami. When he got there, he found a large drug trade, and he and about 10 people who came to Miami from Fort Lauderdale gave nearly every dealer in the area that they held up in the choice to either join up with his cartel, or to get shot in the face. It wasn't a very difficult decision for the most part. After his cartel was formed, they considered many buildings to be used as their headquarters, eventually choosing an extravagant cruise ship that was docked between Brickell and Brickell Key. Just nearby, he discovered a warehouse that was practically full of cocaine, which became the centerpiece of his cartel. From there, Francisco began to tighten his grip on the drug trade around there and expand, mainly focusing on cocaine, but also dealing in drugs that were popularized in the wasteland like Jet. The Conquistadors operate from their cruise ship, dubbed the Mariner of the Seas, and travel using repaired speedboats and jet skis. Speedboats are mainly used for deals, while jet skis are used when traveling without any sort of product. The Conquistadors have completely destroyed almost all of their competition, except a few, and are the drug kingpins of Miami, for the most part. Francisco chose the name because he claimed they would become the conquerors of the wasteland drug trade. For the most part, they don't feud with other gangs, except the Victors, who are by far their worst enemies. However, it usually doesn't get to the point where bullets fly between the two gangs, although things are still tense between them. The main problem facing the Conquistadors is the slowly dwindling supply of cocaine, as his gang is still uncertain how to make it. They've begun rationing and increasing prices, but they still have a moderate supply.

Starting Location: The Mariner of the Seas, between Brickell and Brickell Key

Goals: To eradicate any rivals, rake caps in from users, learn how to make cocaine, and to expand and supply the rest of Miami.

This shouldn't have to be said, but anything not very clearly crudely drawn in MS paint should be ignored when referring to the color code.

Francisco is also very knowledgeable about weapons and drugs, and has the keen ability to calm people down.

Personality: Francisco is normally cool and calm, but tends to hold very long-lasting grudges, and is very fond of the 'Eye for an eye' way of thinking. He's very loyal to friends and allies, and isn't the type to betray.

Motives: Francisco mainly looks to gain money, as well as looking out for himself. His motives are very selfish, aiding to help only him and the Conquistadors.

Backstory: Francisco was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and orphaned, left in the ruins of a library. He learned how to speak from the others in the small settlement that rose up in the ruins of the city, that called themselves Havana. He lived in the library, and read tales of famous Spanish conquistadors, as well as the history of the United States. As he had no name, he chose the name Francisco based on the famous conquistador, Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of the Incan Empire. He chose the last name Lauderdale, based on the city he lived in. Eventually, he formed a small gang with ten friends, his co-leaders being similarly orphaned children, Hernando Miami and Antonio Vespucci. As the gang aged, the town began to fear them more and more, until a militia was formed, driving them out of town. After this, the gang traveled to Miami, in hopes that the could establish a far more successful group there. Francisco and company were not disappointed, as many parts of the city were still intact (apart from a few downtown neighborhoods besides Brickell), save for Miami Beach, which was now infested with terrifying creatures such as land dolphins. Now, Francisco has begun to take over the drug trade in Miami, and hopes to one day sell to all of the wasteland. He's definitely not the largest drug kingpin, but he's most certainly the largest cocaine kingpin.

Anything else we should know?: Francisco, if you haven't guessed, is of Cuban descent.

The armament on your soldiers seems a bit too much. I'd be fine with a handful of them having those, but again, for balance's sake it would be better if they had 9 or 10 mm smgs or something of the sort.
