History: Sorted into his father's house when he was in Hogwarts, Aaron spent his first year in Hogwarts struggling to adjust to the school mainly hanging out in his dorm alone playing his bass guitar. He soon learned that he had a talent for Charms and Transfiguration and scored top marks in his house for both subjects in final exams. In his second year, he joined the Quidditch team as a chaser, later switching to a beater to help Ravenclaw adjust after a severe injury to the old beater later earning the starting beater job for this year.

Interests: Charms, Transfiguration, Magical Events (Ministry Politics) Quidditch, Bass

Strengths: Calm during a crisis, Accomplished in Charms/Transfigurations, Able to act as peacekeeper, Good deduction skills

Weaknesses: Quiet will keep problems to himself until someone finds out, stubborn to a fault, analytical personality comes off as coldness, has tendency to speak his mind too much

RP Sample: Aaron reaches into his robe and draws out his wand. He is at the edge of the forbidden forest, chasing after a gryffindor student he accidentally rubbed the wrong way during care of magical creatures class. He put his chances of surviving in the forest for a night roughly the same odds of him getting a date, close to none. Generally when someone says they are going to do something when in a fit of rage, they usually calm down. He lights his wand, a trail of footprints sticks out in the cold, snowy night. Aaron sighs and walks into the seemingly neverending forest.

History: Not much to tell, his mother moved to japan as a student, after about a year she met his father and soon kazuki was born. Unable to study due to having a child, his father took a job at a local bank as a guard, his mother became a simple housewife. After kazuki became thirteen they moved to Britain, where kazuki learned English. At fifteen his motheand father were both killed by a rogue wizard, leaving kazuki an orphan for about two months before he became sixteen, and when he got his letter from Hogwarts.

Interests: Drawing Manga, quidditch, he shows an interest in vampires and werewolves and has taken to studying them in his spare time.

Strengths: Is good a wielding magic and is a quick learner

Weaknesses: can easily become angered if someone is descriminating against half bloods or muggels.

I'm going to take a guess and presume that Madame Crox is to Aurum as McGonagall was to Dumbledore, no?

Also, what exactly are the pre-defined clubs? I know dueling has been alluded to (though in a poor light, ).

As for classes . . . is anyone interested in actually going through the Transfiguration class? If there is someone, I'd be more than willing to RP it, but if not I don't want to make an aimless post.

Also, the Quidditch teams can't practice all at once, as I seem to recall. This was a matter of some dispute between the Gryffindors and the Slytherins in Harry's second year, I seem to remember, though I don't remember reading it so much as watching it, so it could be that it was only featured in the movies.

Family: Single mother (works as a librarian), older Muggle brother (police man), and younger Muggle sister (in school).

Personality: He's a calculating, ambitious intellectual who nonetheless cares a great deal for his friends and family and the oppressed in general, though his relationship with his family is strained due to his being a wizard. He has a bitter streak over the hostility he's occasionally experienced as a Muggleborn wizard, and dreams of being the first Muggle born Minister for Magic (I don't actually know if there's been one, so I can change this if I must).

Appearance: Average height and not athletic, with dark hair, sharp brown eyes, and white skin. Always meticulously neat.

History: Found out he was a wizard at age 11 (though he had suspected it before then) and convinced his mother to let him attend Hogwarts, thinking it would be a way out of his family's poverty and his lack of opportunities in the Muggle world. He was frustrated by the prejudice against him and the restrictions on his use of magic due to the Statute of Secrecy, and turned his attention toward a political career to address these problems. He's already become a Prefect, though he missed out on being Head Boy, much to his annoyance.

Interests: Magic (especially transfiguration), history, and politics.

Strengths: Sharp and logical mind, great loyalty to those close to him, handsomeness, and skill at most forms of magic (especially transfiguration).

Weaknesses: Not athletic, a cold personality, pride, ambition, and resentment.
