Okay then. I figured that since the dream world is pretty out there that we would have had at least 200 years of training in that little bit of time ( like limbo in Inception.). I would, however, like at least one scene where he demonstrates his combat skills and new abilities, followed by a "you are ready young padawan."Also, heads up to everybody. Outworlder is getting a power boost.

He's already star level. Most are planet level or somewhat above. Why does he need a power boost?

After all, turning into a ficus is not very helpful against people that can level continent with one hit. Basically I'm going to make him a more formidable opponent, not a bigger buster. Efficiency, not quantity. Raw power is useless in the hands of a lm inexperienced user. Perfect example:Beyonder. Nigh omnipotent power but no clue how to use it. So Like Outworlder said in the IC, he could not hope to compete with the other heroes before, so he is becoming competitive for the first time.
Major changes I'm thinking of: Shapeshifting now includes inorganic matter, telepathy is stronger, bump to other non destructive capacity aspects(slight mind you(, and most drastic the addition(or revealing) of soul manipulation/attacks to his powerset.

If I may chime in, it probably wasn't so wise to call it a "power boost" if this is the case.

Well, the soul manipulation thing is a pretty interesting thing to the mix. Plus he can actually work and apply the 17,189,550 martial arts styles in his computer brain effectively. Plus I did make the Shapeshifting thing into a less "swamp thing" themed power.

Still, if the main thing is that he is going to be learning how to apply his powers effectively rather than attain new ones, I'd say that "power boost" isn't quite as adequate as "getting his shit together" or something. But don't mind me, I'm just nitpicking for fun.
I do agree that the soul manipulation would be interesting. How would you apply it?

It would allow him to augment his own soul. At its basic level this increases willpower, strength and healing. At its highest he brings his soul into physical form, creating beams or constructs of spectral mist to use against enemy's. He could so the same to others if need be, making him a great team player. for offensive purposes he can attack and damage an opponents soul, possibly causing soul mutilation. It like Martian Manhunter raping your mind, but instead of your mind it's your soul.

Er, sure, but before that I kind of have to make one more post, to give Garnet the powerup. I was actually going to get started on that now.
So, after I post, feel free to pick her up or whatever.

Okey doke, get ready to settle in for a long battle, the preliminary battle, then a week IC time later, the real one
