Dark times have fallen over Tethyr once again. Struggling to find their way, the people have been leaving their homes, trying to abandon what had become of Tethyr. Yet, some cannot or refuse to leave. They will not leave their homes, only to fail elsewhere. Thus, this is where your story begins. You are an adventurer, hearing the call of the people of Tethyr. Many speak of the undead coming into homes during the night, screams piercing the air momentarily until all is quiet. Is this all an illusion? Are there really problems afflicting the people? That is up to you to find out.
It is told that in the village of Lhaeo, there is one that knows information. They say that he is the oldest of the village, a man that has seen the growth of the village from just his home to a bustling little hovel for people to live in. Each night, in the tavern he speaks of demons swooping in when the fog sets in the night. Is he speaking the truth? Has old age claimed him, turning him insane? This is up to you to find out.
Lhaeo can be located near the Starspire moutains, where the Sulduskoon river splits off.
