So I can't find any race that is actually good at/for marksmanship (As I wanted my main character to be an archer/ranger type of character). Is there one and I've just been unable to find it for the past two days? Or am I right in thinking that I've seen none. These 3 TES-inspired races are throwing me off. TES flips the normality of fantasy races so much, but then "Men" are as they should be, and dwarves seem much different than any dwarves I've ever seen (Dwarves that don't fight? Very strange.). So I'm just extremely confused right now.

Figures Dangit, I don't do well with TES races and their role-flipping nonsense. I was looking for a forest-based Ranger especially, y'know that classic role. Would it be wrong if I used how you stated elves to have a slight LOTR influence to make a ranger elf? Or maybe a woodlands man? Elf especially as I was assuming your slight LOTR influence meant maybe there would be a small minority of elves that go by that logic instead? (As I didn't see where-else the influence may lie.)

Completely understandable if you say no however. I could try maybe some..summoner role or something with an elven mage.

Yeah sure, not a problem really - I just spoke a recommended role - you see. TES does have ranger elf: Wood Elf - but I felt that Azria has too less land = new landmass may have new creatures.

Biography:Resoula grew up in a small village of elves that made their home in the trees. He learned the ways of nature and was taught strictly that nature must be protected from outside influences. His favorite hobby when growing up was to practice with a bow and arrow, his parents took note and gave him a mentor to teach him the ways of marksmanship and how to be a forest ranger. He fit very well in this role and worked to master his marksmanship and moving among the trees, silently and quickly. He was taught the ways of healing magic as a way to protect life and after gaining this knowledge he explored his magical affinity some more on his own. He was amazed by how potent an elf's magical powers were compared to how the people in his village used them. He grew a keen interest in types of magic that allowed him to create his own life, summoning. His parents shunned him for this, telling him that the job of a ranger was to protect and preserve life, not create it. So he practiced in secret. Today he has moved on from his small village of a home and become a mercenary that fights not primarily for coin, but for his own values (As well as the coin). He looks to make a fully-fledged mercenary group out of anyone willing to follow his command.

Biography: Sarah was the first and only child of William Lovell, Earl of Riverhelm (Or Baron, whomever runs the city basically). Earl Lovell was liked by the townspeople of Riverhelm and respected in the kingdom of Blois. He was kinder than the previous earls, though that was not too hard (He was along the lines of Ned Stark in GoT). Though Sarah was raised a noble, she tended to have a distaste for the life, preferring more rebellious routes as a child. It was her fathers aim to marry her off to another Earl or man of greater standing, to secure his family's position in Riverhelm, much to her objection. She has spent most of her 18 years living in Riverhelm keep, sometimes travelling to the capital with her father.
Sarah's life quickly took a turn for the worst however, when during a late evening meal both her father and mother were killed. Sarah had been late for the meal, missing the assassination by minutes. She barely had time to react to her family's passing, before a Monk grabbed her and rushed her out from the Riverhelm keep. Her fathers assassins were looking for her now, to eliminate any Lovell claim to Riverhelm. She is now travelling with the monks under the guise of a priestess of Liana. She has no idea what to do with her life now, will she retake her fathers place with the help of another Earl, Or will she sever all ties to the Lovell name, and take her place in the world as Sarah "York"?
