If there's anyway we can work in some sort of Long range Non lethal bullet probably not.

Ever hear of a rubber bullet? There are different types of non-lethal ammunition today, and I'm sure it will have progressed however far in the future we are.

Rubber is a good idea and i am guessing with technology advances it would have no problem traveling over long ranges.

Im not sure how comfortable i would be with a "lower power rifle" i was thinking i would useing something like DMR which literally means "Designated Marksman Rifle"

Oh, important question: How will we be "dropping"? Because I was thinking of having my character be claustrophobic to keep things interesting, but I'll have to scrap that idea if we're doing individual drop pods that have the space of a coffin.

Why? That idea would be just as good.

I would like drop ships better just because it would allow conversation before the operation begins and it limits infrastructure damage. (Im guessing these pods are exceeding Mach 5 while there in the atmosphere so that would put more than a Pot hole into the ground.

Well, when we go with pods, we can either have Halo ODST-style pods, or CoD:AW-style pods.

Having a window would be better for someone with claustrophobia.

To be honest, my character would probably go "Oooh, pretty flames!" if he saw the re-entry flames like that. Although he'd be a bit busy with the panic attack from claustrophobia to notice the flames on the outside.

I would prefer dropships cause they're much less likely to fail than Single Occupant Exoatmospheric Insertion Vehicle's (SOEIV's)
