Sang began walking with Alpha listening and about to answer his question when the Admiral started talking about their assignment. He put up a hush signal to Alpha and listened carefully. They would be going in a training simulation with a few other cores in Soul armor that out numbered us. A grin began to spread over Sang's face as Adrenaline began to say hi. Then in a moment he was teleported to the station and got very sick. An almost green look spread over his face as he dropped to his knees and gagged. However he was well enough to report "Yi... here... oh I'm gonna be sick". Then he pushed himself up and staggered over to the armory grabbing an energy blade, assault rifle, and one of the smaller pistols. As Sang listened to the info being talked over he began to formulate a strategy for him unknowingly saying it loud enough for the group to hear "if I'm correct Space Stations aren't big so air support isn't best here... and some corridors are very narrow... perhaps I can use my invisibility to sneak by them but the traps will catch me then... so maybe I can use my Killer drones to trigger a few or my hover wings to not touch the ground but still". Then actually saying aloud "Lieutenant can you give me any info of how the station is structured?"

Nicolas barely had any time to comprehend the Admiral's words before he was teleported to the portable armoury she had mentioned. Further chatting with Kiku would have to wait until later. The split second he was teleported, he was overcome with a wave of nausea. His head began spinning and throbbing, and his vision was slightly blurred. Quite how the soldiers with teleportation modules coped with the nauseous effects was beyond him.

When Lieutenant Asuna had everyone confirm that they were there, Nicolas said, loud and clear, over the comm device, "Nicolas Yan Kun Xing, reporting." After that, he began to recover his sense of balance. The ringing in his ears stopped. He began reviewing what the Admiral had said. A simulation battle sounded fun. It would be a valuable learning experience, as well. The lieutenant cautioned that the 67th were renown for their usage of traps. That would be something to note. Considering how the Star Wardens' objective was the Datasphere, the core would probably have to go on the offensive, with the three enemy cores entrenching themselves around the target. They would also need time to transmit the list. The situation really seemed unfavourable for the newly-formed 303rd, but they would make do, Nicolas knew. If we can't even beat our kin, why would the ever-benevolent Aheani select us? The council knew what they were doing. There was no way the core could lose their first battle!

Maxwell was sitting in his corner of the docking bay, thinking, thinking, and thinking. He had never been much of one for fighting. He was the one who held teams together and thought things through. And now, he was anxious. Very anxious. 'What will our first mission be?' He thought, fretting. 'Will I get shot? I never was much one for a fight. I may have better Power Armor now, but that fact doesn't change. What of I become a liability? Will they kill me?'

Before his thoughts could go further, the admiral entered. Saying something about their first mission being a simulation battle, she eventually finished. Maxwell didn't bother to listen to it. Simulation battle or not, he doubted there would be a place for him. While he was tearing himself apart on the inside, suddenly there was a bright flash of light, and they were teleported to yet another Hanger. He felt sick on the inside. Likely a side-effect of the teleportation. Fighting it down, he heard Asuna call for them to confirm their presence over the intercom. Standing, although a big wobbly, he saluted. "Maxwell reporting, Asuna. I believe I could help you with that Gameplan. I was always best at planning."

Alice continued hanging around the girl, seeing as she seemed to be fun. She seemed to be totally entranced with their masters, absorbing every word. 'Like an older version of me~' Alice thought inside happily. She returned with her to the Power Armor and, seeing her get in her power Armor, imitated her and got in her own Power Armor. As soon as she finished settling in, she was teleported. She felt sick, likely due to Teleportation nausea, but she didn't mind. She always was tough.

Retaining control, she saw the girl over with Big Sis, as she had decided to call Lieutenant Asuna, and a male cadet. He seemed like a jerk. Skipping over to the girl, she arrived just in time to see the male take his arm off Big Sis. 'Good,' She thought. 'He shouldn't touch Big Sis.' Then her thoughts turned to the interesting girl. Leaping on her, she gave her a big hug. "Hello~ What's your name? I'm Alice~"

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:"Oh, that won't be necessary." Alistair said immediately, moving away quickly as if to avoid drawing the ire of the woman in the suit with the butterfly wings. "Anyway, the 67th are adept at laying traps, correct? What else can you tell us about the other two cores?" The Ashbringer inquired as he walked over to the armory, picking out two large energy blades and swinging them around a bit. He then looked at the sidearms for several moments before finally giving a small shrug. "Might as well." He told himself as he took a plasma pistol and holstered it.

Asuna showed no reaction to Alistairs invasion of her personal space at first. She put a hand to her suits chin. "Firstly, before I forget, if you ever sneak up on me and invade my personal space again, I will move your bed to the sanitation bay." She was exceptionally well read on almost all of the fighting forces in the galaxy. "Well, the 48th are the "White Tigers" Famed for their ferocity in hand to hand combat and ship boarding, renowned for their service during the Battle of Iva Pass. They'll likely be the first ones we encounter, their soul armour is white with orange stripes. The 67th are the "Shadow Crawlers" famed for their use of traps and abush tactics, instrumental in severing the head of the Dao Yun uprisings in Urasi Maximus. They will likely attempt to attack me and anyone else who seems to be leading the squad. Black and purple armour."

She paused. "The 120th will be the main problem The "Children of Talor" are a core of fanatics who have taken the creed of the Aheani old god "Talor, Ta Hene Sor Ur Jain-Lak", He Whose Skin is Red with Fresh Blood. They focus on terror tactics, inflicting mass casualties and all manner of unpleasant stratagems... Famed for the Valley of Tears battle. They seem to teeter on the edge of what is acceptable... but for some reason they never get into too much trouble..." She sighed. "They've likely claimed the inner ring around the sphere, since I'm assuming its in the middle..."

Dustain wrote:That caused Harriet's avionics to twitch slightly and she smiled even wider as she came up with a plan “Well, if they're good at laying traps then that means they like to have control. If some of us go to find an airlock and EVA over to the main control room we might be take control of the cameras and bulkheads, we can use them to look ahead and clear paths.” And then she bit her tongue realising that she may have interrupted Asuna, “And yeah, I guess we need to know about the other Cores too.” She said followed by a short awkward giggle.

"That's actually a good idea..." She replied. "Let me just check the tactical map, this suit must be able to access the mainframe and digitally recreate-" She came up with nothing. Her eyes narrowing. "Hmmm. Must be jamming my connection to the station. And the Datasphere isn't showing up..." She put her hands behind her back. "We may have to put that on hold. Until we get a map of this place we're going in blind, but looking for a terminal could loose us valuable time and it might mean the other cores might ambush us...

Teleportation
Good thing i haven't eaten anything in a couple hours.

"Harriet. Would you like to fight with me?" Vlad asked, hoping she would. "I'm going to show the 67th what it means to fight a 42nd." He said this a bit cockily.

He walked over to the weapons and grabbed an energy sword, a assault rifle, and a flame-thrower. When he was grabbing those he saw a man that he had seen hanging in the recesses of the hanger, grabbing 2 energy swords.

"you coming harriet? I'm going to go now. If you want to follow me you can. I'll deal with these traps."

Vlad dematerialised. He then walked out the hanger through the hanger door.

Jerome quickly snapped to attention as the admiral began speaking. Apparently, they would be fighting with 3 other cores at the X-233 Space Station. Jerome used this time to jump into his power armor.

After the explanation was finished, Jerome was teleported into the docking bay. He quickly became very nauseous, but overcame it. He then realized he was in the docking bay of the space station, and he followed Asuna's orders and stayed in the docking bay.

He looked around, trying to find the girl he was talking to earlier.

D.E.L.T.A. walked towards the group of colleagues, that is, until the Admiral summoned everyone too him. Thinking an announcement was about to be made D.E.L.T.A. Activated his helmets recording features and began patiently and actively watching and listening to the admirals speach.

"Alright. Soldiers of the 303rd, Your about to get your first opportunity to work together as a team. While you were busy talking, we managed to get within transport range of the X-233 Space station. There, you will be put through a simulation battle with members of the 48th, the 67th and the 120th. For this mission, your weapons will be set to nonlethal modes, given stun bullets or otherwise modified so they can't hurt the other core members (Though, they will likely be stunned). Their weapons will be likewise modified (If you or your suit is compromised, you'll be transported back). The station has been cleared and it's shields are down. You'll all be transported into the docking bay, where you will find a portable armory closet. They will be using Soul model power suits, however don't think it will be a walk in the park because of that. They will vastly outnumber you and will have years of battle experience to their names. In fact, you will be at more of a disadvantage than them. The goal of the simulation is to search through the station for a Datasphere that contains a list of numbers, which you then must transmit back to us if you want to return to the Sanctum. The sphere should be displayed on your HUD. Now, I'm sure you don't want to give your opponent more time to prepare, which is why I am going to cut this briefing short." With that, each of the recruits was gone in a flash of light. Leaving Catherine on her own in the Docking Bay. "Good luck."

Soon a bright light engulfed him and blackness soon after. But a couple minutes after he came too. He was standing in a room that looked a lot like the hanger he was in prior to now, only with a little larger floor space and a higher ceiling. He wondered if they were now in the space station the admiral mentioned earlier. But soon a wave of nausea hit him like anxiety before a diploma exam and he knelt down on one knee to cope. Suddenly he heard another voice emanating from his helmets communications link.
"Members of the 303rd, confirm presence. Stay here everyone. The 67th is famed for setting all manner of traps, besides, we need a... gameplan as you humans call it."

He said in response "D.E.L.T.A. Present". He had a few questions both about the team and his opponents like what were his colleagues names? What were there skills and experience levels (what did they have experience in)? What modules were there suits equipped with? and what info could his CO's tell him about the enemies they'd be fighting in this simulated battle and the lay of the land, among other such related questions he had. Although he came to find the answers to most of those first questions with time. He found the answers to the majority of the module question simply by looking at the other colleagues, although still unsure about modules that couldn't be seen right away and one module on each uniform or if everyone had a unique module to their suits like his Ai's. He also had other questions answered simply by listening to the questions of his colleagues. Soon the nausea subsided and he stood up, and he thought of a knock knock joke while the CO talked about the 67th core while answering his colleagues question about updating them on the cores they're about to battle. <Knock Knock. Who's there?. Trap. Trap who?. Trap the 67th core.>. Then he heard a voice in his head from theta. "That's Terrible D.E.L.T.A. " he joked. <very funny Theta> he thought back.

Paul had been getting to know his new power armor and all its gadgets better while the others had spent their time talking to each other. Much of that time was spent figuring out how to use the different diagnostic tools on his Medical Omni-tool, but he also spent some time learning how to deploy and command his gun drones, and how to create some energy constructs.

He then heard the Admiral speak up, informing them that they were about to begin a simulation battle on a nearby space station. "This should be interesting" he thought to himself, just as he and the others were transported to the station. Like the others, he felt dizzy and a bit nauseous once the transportation was complete "That's going to take some getting used to" he thought. He then heard the Lieutenant ordering the members of the 303rd to confirm their presence.

"Jenner, reporting in" he replied.

He stood silently and still for a moment, listening to the others while recovering from his nausea. Once recovered, he heard the Lieutenant state:

Charmera wrote:"Any and all assistance you can render would be appriciated." Asuna replied, managing to handle all the different questions of her teammates without too much trouble. "Especially your opinion on what we should do about this map situation. We can't really plan anything without a map and without knowing where our goal is, but we risk being attacked and loosing time..."

and decided to reply: "Lieutenant, if I may make a suggestion, my suit is equipped with gun drones, and I imagine some of the others here have drones as well. If we deploy our drones to scout the station and record their video feeds, we could use that data to make a rough map of the station. And, if the drones get shot down, than at least we'll know the location of our opponents."

"I agree with his plan. I also can do some scouting missions with my invis on, and phase on. I then could rely it back to you or take them out. I also think we should divide into 3 groups, one for each core. If you are good with dealing with traps you should fight those trap people. I'll help to deal with the trap layers." Vlad said.

D.E.L.T.A. Agreed with Sang and Paul's questions. He too wondered what the lay of the land looked like and how they could go about finding it. He agreed that using the drones to map out the terrain might work, but also thought the satellite station might have schematics of the station in the files. He felt the bridge would be a good place to go to for that if they could find it, and the cafeteria if they needed to hold up for awhile, preferring the bridge however. He thought 2 strategies that might be of use in this conflict were unity, in which case they'd have strength in numbers and flanking, in which case they'd have strength through the divide and conquer method.

Max nodded. "Don't worry, I'll come up with a plan. I excelled in planning in the academy." Waiting for others to finish voicing their opinions, he said: "All those options are very good, but I have something even better. Before getting a map, we need to establish a perimeter. Our toughest members will defend every opening in the Perimeter. Of course, I shall leave the actual designation as to who is the toughest to Asuna." Pausing to take a breath, he then said, "We send out any volunteers with Hover Wings or Jetpacks out to scout the area, and, of possible, shut down enemy communications. They will stay out there. While scouting the area, I shall maintain communications and create a map. Our members who are best at attacking, meanwhile, will conduct limited offensive operations in areas already mapped, or help out with Defense. Again, Asuna designates those best at attacking. Those scouting the area will be Team A. Defenders will be Team B. Members who are best at offense will be Team C. People with medical capabilities will heal Defenders so they can hold out as long as possible without rotating out. I will be in charge of keeping Communications up and mapping the place. Asuna will be with whatever Team she wishes, as our commander. Personally, I feel she would be best suited to Team C. Once we have a rough map of the place, we launch a major offensive with a combination of Team B and C. We will do any objectives, and, if necessary, neutralize the enemy. Sound good, everybody?" He asked, looking around, finally ending his gaze on Asuna.

Harriet looked through the various weapons slowly, inspecting each different type. There were quite a few she'd used before at the range, like the kinetic rifles and pistols, but the more advanced plasma and pulse weapons she'd only read about during her studies. She decided to stick with the basic projectile weapons, considering they were a bit more versatile and she'd had more experience with them. She looked at the smaller weapons first, a few SMGs and machine pistols, and picked up one of the larger ones with an ergonomic grip. As she did small little electrodes on the grip connected with her suit and the screen on her targeting visor displayed a loading message. Harriet opened her eyes wide in surprise as her suit loaded the specifications of the weapon, the more basic Soul type armour needed reconfiguring. It told her the make and model of the weapon and advised her that, based on the suits current material reserve that she could manufacture an additional 200 rounds using the replicator. She took a few additional magazines just to be on the safe side and put them in the cargo compartment on her right hand side. She then holstered the weapon on a small magnetic patch on her side leg.

She turned and looked up to Maxwell as he was going over his plan, which seemed good enough, she didn't like the idea of hunkering down with a horde on their way but providing that they could bottle neck them and they didn't get out flanked it could work. Again though, Harriet didn't like sitting still for too long and she didn't quite get how her jet pack was going to help her in the narrow spaces of the space station.

With a shrug she turned back to selecting her weapons where she noticed the heavy weapons. Despite her small frame, big weapons were something Thunderbirds specialised in, causing as much havoc in as little time as possible. It wouldn't be a great idea to pick an explosive weapon in the tight confines of the station so she began to turn away. That's when her HUD pinged to let her know it had formed a connection with one of the long barrelled machine guns. She picked it up with a furrowed brow and looked it over. It was long and rectangular with the trigger off to the side rather than underneath; but be an electrical one. There was an actuated mechanical arm and a thick data lead coming from the underside. Her HUD blinked and directed her to stick the end of the arm into the 'replicator; belt feed' port. It was a little awkward, but it went in with a click. There was a whirring noise as the gaps in the arms began filling up with cartridges, filling all the way to the receiver on the rifle. She looked over the weapon again for a few moments before letting go of the handle, letting the actuated arm bring the weapon to sit against her jet pack. She shrugged and collected the SMG at her side.

She came back into the conversation when Max was talking about the offensive and listened to Felix and Delta.

"I'll look after them." she said with a smile "But, um, the Admiral just said we had to get the Data sphere and transmit the numbers, we probably don't need to take out all of them."

As she awaited orders, Ereshkigal suddenly tensed up as her battle-tuned instincts flared up, her senses detecting something moving quickly towards her. Quickly, she reacted by turning around to face the source of her distress... just in time to notice how the young-looking girl who had addressed her earlier reached her with considerable force and wrapped her arms around the power armor she wore. Needless to say, Ereshkigal was rather surprised by such a thing, and also a bit... uncomfortable. She was not used to physical contact, or at least, physical contact lacking an intent to harm her, as contact was something pretty much unavoidable in the fighting circles she grew up in as a child. Now, it was true that the fact that both she and the girl hugging her were currently wearing power armor, which served to isolate her from the other woman, but still, the Einherjar found herself in what she thought to be an uncomfortable situation, to say the least. Uncertain of what to do, she placed trembling hands on the girl's back and softly attempted to pry her away.

"I-I... Um..." The bronze-skinned girl stuttered, trying to answer the girl's question despite her discomfort. "M-my name is... Ereshkigal..." She said softly. "I... Please remove yourself from my armor. We are in a mission and I must arm myself in order to serve the master..." She added afterwards, trying to convince the girl to back off from her. At least, the Einherjar thought to herself, she was strong enough to maintain her footing despite the other girl's reckless leap, as otherwise she would have fallen down to the ground, probably causing an even more uncomfortable situation. For herself, anyways.

Finally managing to move away from herself the girl who called herself Alice, she walked over to the armory, picking up a wrist energy shield and a disintegrator rifle, as well as extra ammunition for said weapon. Turning back to the lieutenant and Maxwell, who stood beside her, she spoke, her voice much more controlled as she addressed them. "I would prefer to protect the master during this battle, but as my armor is designed to resist enormous quantities of damage without rest, I am able to function as part of the defender group or as protection for the other teams, if necessary." She stated firmly.

Alistair noticed Asuna's cold disregard for his friendly attempt to break the ice, and in response he merely turned back to her and smiled his usual carefree smile, though of course she couldn't see it beneath the armor's helmet. "Well, if you do, be sure to call me and I'll move it myself. I'd hate to make a lady tire herself for me." He said while making a theatrical, almost exaggerated bow. Afterwards, he simply continued toying with his newly acquired energy blades, spinning them around, getting a feel for them. And as he continued swinging them left alright, almost carelessly but in reality making sure that he hit nothing and no one as he played around, he also listened idly to the conversation, in particular the planning part. It was worth it to hear out what the others thought about how the battle should be carried out, after all, especially the commander's thoughts, but truth be told, even though he knew this, his mind was mostly occupied thinking of ways he could use his energy blades to strike down any enemies that crossed his path.

In that regard, he had to admit, he was slightly disappointed at the way the training simulation was set up. Even though he understood that it made no sense whatsoever to give them real weapons, thus creating the risk of someone dying during the training session, he still found it a little boring that there was no risk involved in the battle. He supposed that what he was disappointed about was the fact that they could not fight a real enemy. As he thought about this, he looked at the blades. What were they supposed to do if they couldn't cut? Drain energy or something mundane lik that? Boring, Alistair thought, but then, he couldn't really blame the Aheani for that.

Hearing the plan, he figured he might as well speak up. Placing both blades on sheaths on the back of his armor, he turned to face Maxwell and Asuna once again. "I can go wherever, as long as I get a good fight. I'd prefer if I could face some of these White Tigers, though. I really want to see if they're as good at close quarters combat as our commander says they are." He said confidently.

"Especially your opinion on what we should do about this map situation. We can't really plan anything without a map and without knowing where our goal is, but we risk being attacked and loosing time..."

Asuna was surprised, and quite disarmed by the swiftness Max had come up with such a comprehensive plan. "That... Sounds good." She paused, focusing. She was going to need to take charge of this plan. She was not about to let a subordinate dictate what should be done without having some input. "Team A will have the added objective of finding the sphere. If we can grab that, then our job will be much easier. If you do find it, mark it's position on the team map and call for backup. Then a joint strike on the gaurds of the sphere with groups A and C will be required. If we can't find it, stick to Max's plan."

"Team C will be comprised of Sang, Janett, Jerome, Alistair and Harriet."
"Team B will be comprised of Paul Jenner, Jon, George, Ereshkigal and Delta"
"Team A will consist of Alice, Kiku, Vlad and Felix"
"And there will be an extra team D for keeping up communications and giving orders. We'll also support the other teams if possible. It will have Me, Max and Nicolas

"Anyone I missed?"

D.E.L.T.A. Listened to Asuna as she spoke. <sounds like I'll be on the defending team> he thought to himself. He looked over to the armoury, located in the hanger they were currently in and he suspected the defending team to be staying in while the others left. <not my skill set but I'll maje it work, after all if I can't work outside of our comfort zone, how can I fight on the war effectively as a soldier>. In the armoury he spotted numerous weapons, tools, and ammunition like a sniper rifle, grappling hook, assault rifle, knifed explosive launcher and shotgun, as well as extra ammunition for each and tools for them or all on their own like silencers. When the time came that it'd appropriate he figured he'd go arm himself with appropriate weapons to help defend the area.

D.E.L.T.A. considered that one of the Ai's might be more helpful helping another teammate then it would he, but it seemed unnecessary as they already had one to help them, though admittedly not one capable of communication. That and scaring his Ai's seemed mean so he decided against it.

D.E.L.T.A. considered that he could only reliably carry 2 main guns and a sidearm before having trouble carrying and firing them. Of the choices, giving that he's defending and that they'll be doing so in an open space that he'd probably choose the grappling hook, both for current uses and for its potential uses later on if he had to defuse tripwires in combat with the 67th core. He also thought that he'd choose the KEL, and the Sniper rifle.

Looking to Asuna D.E.L.T.A. Proved.

Ereshkigal listened with complete attention to the instructions set forth by Asuna, understanding her role in the plan. She had to admit to herself that she was slightly disappointed that she was not assigned to protect her master, that position instead being given to another person. She would have preferred to do so herself, as she said, but then, she also had to consider other factors. Had Asuna decided to send her with the defenders instead because her abilities would be wasted by staying behind or because she was better suited to protect the perimeter than guard the communications? If so, she supposed, then the master's decision had its origin in an appreciation for her abilities rather than some perceived insufficience in her ability to protect her, which put the Einherjar somewhat at ease.

"I will do as ordered, master." She stated firmly, ready to execute her duty to the best of her ability.

Alistair, on the other hand, was perfectly happy with the team he was assigned to. Not only were there two cute women in it, but he had also been placed in the assault team, something that pleased him greatly. His skills were gauged appropiate for offensive measures, and he intended to prove Asuna right about that. He was also quite eager to face off against the 'White Tigers' of the 48th who fought in the Battle of Iva Pass, looking forward to seeing how well those veteran fighters would do against a dubious prodigy of the Ashbringers such as himself. Both cores were famed for their close combat expertise, and while he was shunned by his own core for his mistakes, he still kept with himself the pride that came with being an Ashbringer, and he wasn't about to have it wounded by losing a fight.

However, it seemed that it was not yet time for them to set out, and so, for now, he simply waited for futher instructions, knowing better than to wander off on his own.

D.E.L.T.A. Waited for acknowledgement as he stood there with his hand up and standing at attention. As he waited he thought of more questions, and his ai's told him more knock knock jokes, like <Knock knock. Who's there. Time. Time who. Time to acknowledge his hand up>. He wondered if perhaps he could acquire his weapons now, but figured he should wait till after the CO ended the meeting. He was worried that perhaps the other 3 teams would ambush them while they talked. When he was acknowledged he figured he would ask if they knew the terrain where the defending team would be? As well as if he may equip himself? And finally he wondered when they'd be dismissed, though he would refrain from vocalizing that last question.

It sounded to him like there'd be 4 groups. 1 for offence. 1 for scouting. 1 for management and 1 for defence which he'd be in, it also sounded that the group he'd be in was defence but that was fairly simple to recognize. He usually worked alone or with a partner on simulation missions back at the academy so this would be different, he assumed. He was still unsure about his placement given his specialties but decided on saying nothing about it, given in the past whenever he complained it would usually make things worse.

Considering the terrain of a space station, it would be very unlikely that Nicolas would be able to use rifles and such effectively. He expected more close-quarters combat than he would like. But that was the choice of Lieutenant Asuna, so that was what he had to do. His energy construct module would be very useful, as well as the killer drones.

Taking everything into mind, Nicolas proceeded to take his weapons from the portable armoury. As he glanced at the grey assortment of firearms, he found that the suit could at least identify Aheani weaponry, and would display various statistics and information on his HUD. Brilliant engineering, as always. The Technoma were so skilful, humanity could never possibly compare...

After some cursory examination and decisive decisions, Nicolas decided to take a Rovis Min (RI) plasma pistol, a Uer Pattern projectile assault rifle, and a pulse rifle. He reasoned, should he ever need to use his pistol, the target would most likely be nearby, therefore rendering the disadvantage of a slow projectile nearly null. For his short-to-mid range weapon, a conventional projectile assault rifle would do well. Shotguns just don't feel right for Nicolas. And lastly, pulse weapons were effective against infantry, so it would be rather potent against the Soul-equipped infantry.

With that, Nicolas slung the rifle around his shoulder, slotted his RI pistol into his waist holster, and affirmed enthusiastically over the radio, "Lieutenant, I am ready for battle!"

D.E.L.T.A. started walking for the armoury, expecting to be stopped if it wasn't ok as he'd been standing there for about 5 minutes without the CO acknowledging him. At the armoury he looked at the weapons, and grabbed a grappling hook. After which he stared at the shotgun, assault rifle, sniper rifle and the Knifed explosive launcher. Out of habit he reached for the silenced Sniper Rifle. In response the ai Delta spoke, "Alpha, by my calculation you have a 78.6 percent chance of failure with that weapon if you defend.". "Oh? Well maybe I should leave that."."affirmative". D.E.L.T.A. went on to the next weapon, the shotgun. "What about the shotgun?". "You will require range to survive. I cannot recommend it". "I see" replied D.E.L.T.A. who proceeded to put the shotgun away. "What can you tell me about this Delta?" D.E.L.T.A. said as he reached for the Knifed explosive launcher Delta spoke again . "It has both high performance in its close range abilities and average proven performance in its ranged capabilities for an explosive weapon. I estimate a 60% chance of survival.". "Thank you Delta". With that he grabbed the Kel. Then he acquired the assault rifle and set it to 3 shot bursts.

Remembering what the admiral said (the enemy already preparing) he loaded up the rifle and began prep for defending the perimeter.

Asuna nodded, "Right then. Team A will can scouting now. Team B should begin fortifying this area. Perhaps moving the boxes to provide some sort of cover. Once we have their positions confirmed, Team C can begin assaulting their fortifications. In the mean time, help members of team B in the event we're attacked." As she spoke, she grabbed a plasma rifle and a pulse pistol.

She paused for a moment, looking at everyone. "Well, those are your orders, if there is nothing else we need to discuss-" Suddenly Asuna was cut off by a noise not unlike the sound of a buzzsaw. She looked over to the docking bay doors, which seemed to be the source of this noise. Her suspicions were confirmed as she saw what looked to be something cutting through the bulkhead of the door. Another sound and they had cut through the door. Thankfully the door seemed to be a little further away from them than in the docking bay of the Sanctum.

She readied her weapons. "It seems we've run out of time. We need to destroy them and make sure they can't call for reinforcements or report our position. So we either need to block their communications or annihilate them fast."

The group exiting the door seemed to be comprised of half White Tigers and half Shadow Crawlers, no Children of Talor in sight. There seemed to be about twenty of them, not much but one gets the feeling they're not suppose to take you on without reinforcements.

D.E.L.T.A. waited, in a "crouched on one knee" position behind a steel crate with his newly obtained assault rifle mounted on top. The KEL was mounted on his back over the hover-wings and the grappling hook "pistol" was holstered on his waist. Hearing footsteps approaching he tried staying on alert. But he also noticed his colleagues were now hustling to their post after the new CO shouted orders and the enemy began welding through the door In front of him. Dakota Alpha waited cautiously behind the crate, willing to engage. Team A & C were booking it to there objectives in the meantime, or he assumed that they were given the CO's orders.

As the enemies weld extended the coming circle further around D.E.L.T.A. kept his assault rifle ready. A little worried about being shot given his armour colour being bright red. He didn't know what they looked looked like besides armour colour so he planned on shooting anything that moved in the doorway.

Vlad heard the sound of the door being destroyed a bit before the CO heard it and informed everyone else. As she told them to go to the battle stations he turned on his music.

"All embrace me
It's my time to rule at last
Fifteen years have I been waiting
To sit upon my throne

No allegiance
I will swear no oath
Crowned by God not by the church
As my power is divine

They thought I was too young to rule the land
Just as they failed to understand
Born to rule
My time has come

I was chosen by heaven
Say my name when you pray
To the skies
See Carolus rise
With the Lord my protector
Make them bow to my will
To the skies
See Carolus rise

To the skies
See Carolus rise

Proved in battle
Led my men to victory
No man alive or dead commands me
I answer to the Lord

Hear my orders
Question me and die
What I say was said in heaven
And so it shall be done

I know I was destined to rule alone
All for myself I have claimed the throne
Born to rule
My time is now

I was chosen by heaven
Say my name when you pray
To the skies
See Carolus rise
With the Lord my protector
Make them bow to my will
To the skies
See Carolus rise

To the skies
See Carolus rise

Fram??t Karoliner
Fiendens dom ??r h??r
L??t oss krossa dom
Kasta in dom genom helvetets portar

All that's thine
Shall be mine
There's no stopping me
All over Europe my rule shall be questioned by none

All I see
Give to me,
That is my decree
My will be done

They thought I was too young to rule the land
Just as they failed to understand
Born to rule
My time is now

I was chosen by heaven
Say my name when you pray
To the skies
See Carolus rise
To the skies

With the Lord my protector
Make them bow to my will
To the skies
See Carolus rise"

Vlad turned his suit around, and then turned his penetrating sight on. He then popped down under the floor and then walked behind the soldiers. He popped up behind the last soldier, Turned off his phase, and stabbed the guy in the back. *This is funnn... He thought*. After that guy crumpled to the floor, he pulled out the flamethrower, and pulled the trigger. 1.... 2.... 3... 4... 5... and then he turned it off after that, turned his phase on, and went under the floor.

OOC: how many should that take out?

Sang as he heard the lieutenant say enemies were coming went behind one of the crates using it as cover and pulled out his assault rifle and using his HUD and now active abilities and marked ten of them which seemed to be white tigers. He then made sure he was ready to unleash the swarm.of tiny insect like drones and looked down the scope his minor accuracy boosting targeting computer showing a rough guess to where the bullet would hit. Sang then asked lieutenant Asuna "any orders on who to hit?".
