Might as well have our guys meet each other on vacation in Canada.
Then they have a stare down to see who stops being polite about it first. Then it goes on for days.
God, I'm already plotting evil IC plans.

Cool! I'm hoping to do medical mission work after Medical school (if I manage to get into and through Medical school), and they're one of the organizations I was looking into. How do you like working for them?

I could see that: they go on vacation in Canada to try and out-polite the Canadians and ending up trying to out-polite each other

It's not bad. Since it's an NGO, it's more like "volunteer" rather than "work".
Of course, it also feels strange when people ask me "What do you do?" and I tell them "I'm a musician and a paramedic".

From then on whenever they see each other, they momentarily give each other the evil eye before paying each other compliments in an attempt to out-compliment each other, leading others to believe they're good friends while they secretly loathe each other. This is going to be fun

It would be interesting if they became a weird sort of friends, where she gets angry at him and beats him up, but he helps out anyway. THAT kind of friendship. And it does suit both character's personalities.
She's a little to ditsy to get angry, though I guess if you go full fedora on her she'll smack you about.

Bio:

Core Name and Number: Core 289 - Einherjar
Brief Core Description: One of the last cores to be formed, the Einherjar is largely made up of the descendence of the various outcasts of the world, unfit for other cores and thus rounded up and herded together to be used as shock troopers for the Aheani. The Einherjar were swiftly indoctrinated, becoming a force loyal to their Aheani saviors and perfectly willing to fight for them, and in fact, fight for them was what they excelled at. Born to fight, the Einherjar, a melting pot which has evolved into its own culture, are a fierce, proud people, who move on through the hardships of life and believe their service to the Aheani to be their glory and greatest duty. Selfless in their service and silent in their pain, the people of this core are not very communicative, often having trouble to express their emotions in a way not involving sacrifice, and many tend to shy away from foreigners, though they are not rude towards them, necessarily. They interact the most through combat, and in fact, it is said that combat is the way Einherjar grow closer to others and to each other. Their capacity to understand each other during battle is such that many Einherjar are able to, with just one prior battle worth of combat experience, fight as a single entity on the battlefield. Such does not often happen with those of other cores, but the battle intuition of an Einherjar is something to acknowledge nonetheless. They view the other cores with little interest, though not with apathy or contempt, but they do view their rivalries with disdain, believing that, if all of them are in the service of the Aheani, there should be no reason to compete.

Physical Modules:Offense Modules:
- Endurance
- Increased Suit Durability
- Suit Nanite Regeneration
Transport Modules:
- Energy Construct Creation
- Venom Injector
Unique Module:
- Blink Teleportation
- Hover Wings
Model Number: EI-0207
- Repulsion Field: The armor quickly generates a transluscent dome of light around itself. Anything whatsoever that impacts said dome will be instantly rejected, being sent back in the direction it came from with considerable force. The field is able to withstand an enormous ammount of damage, and lasts for considerable time, but Ereshkigal can not move or attack while the field is active, and the field will only deactivate when all of the module's energy is drained, effectively making it a once-per-battle ability. Anything caught inside the Repulsion Field will be safe as long as the field is active, and the field works only one way, so it is possible to fire at the enemy from within.
