So I responded, but it wasn't much. My character really doesn't have much of a reason to interact with you as you didn't give me much to work off of. I didn't want to make you my contact or anything because that would be assigning you a backstory which wouldn't be fair, but you can go from there if you want.

I've no idea how Vitaly would be a contact anyway, besides being a bit of a polygot, he's not horribly special as far as assassins go.

It was at that point a Templar Grand Master approached him and offered for him to join the order as an Agent. From that point, Templar influence guided him to becoming a Technical Sergeant in the Air Force and soon will be transferred as a mid-level supervisor within NORAD.

Alright, I understood the "new world order" bit from the AC lore. But what side of the Vietnam War are they on, if any? What are their goals in the war?

Both sides. They created this war hoping to escilate the cold war enough to start WW3 and then in the aftermath(if there is any), and create a new world order.
